Hey there less popular selfshippers

I know it can be hard to see your posts and gushes and art and writing and whatever you make for your ships go unnoticed. I know sometimes it can make your own ships feel less valid because it seems like people don't care about it as much.

But listen, I promise you that's not true. Your ship is just as valid as another person's, whether you get a bunch of notes or not. Your content for your ships is just as special because it's yours and you made it for you, and if a few others enjoy it that's just a bonus.

And if it means anything, I support your love for your F/Os and your ships. Even if we share F/Os that I am uncomfortable sharing and I may not directly reblog or like things for personal reasons, I still support your love just as much because they make you happy and that makes me happy. I'm sure others may feel that way too.

I know we've placed such importance on notes and reblogs and popularity, but in the end those aren't the most important thing regarding your love for your F/Os and ships. Even if you only get notes from some friends and mutuals, your selfship is just as wonderful as another person's.
