But that's the least of his worries when he's currently flipping through spellbook after spellbook, to no avail. That is, until he found what he was looking for. Who knew that all his hard work would pay off after spending days, hours searching in multiple libraries across the (world) country.

After I had enough of playing, I logged off much to his dismay , and went downstairs to go get dinner. I looked in the fridge, seeing :

1. A bottle of milk

And finally, what I was searching for

Grabbing the lasagna, I put it in the microwave to heat it up. After I heard a familiar ding! I grabbed it from the microwave, put it in a clean plate, got some cutlery and began eating in silence. After that, I washed the dishes and went back upstairs.

Weirdly though, I couldn't find my phone. Assuming I misplaced it, I shrugged it off and went to bed. It did take me a while to fall asleep, but I managed to doze off after staring at a wall for an hour.

Thud! I awoke to a frightening noise. drenched in cold sweat, I rose up to a sitting position on the edge of my bed. Dangling my feet off the edge, I looked around my bedroom, feeling weirdly cold while getting goosebumps. Whether from fear or from cold, I couldn't tell.

I looked around once again, just to double check, and finally, much to my dismay, realized that I had to get up to check around the house. Speaking of, did I lock the backdoor ?....Yeah...., I should..definitely go check...

I rose to my feet, slipped on some slippers, and off I went, to check the house, but first, I had to check my own room. I checked the closet, I checked under my bed, I looked out the window ; nothing.

I opened the door room and strode into the hallway. (if you don't have one, pretend like you do). I opened every single door, excluding the ones that weren't in the hallway, and checked inside each and every single room, searching every nook and cranny. After all, I wasn't one to take risks, even if it's just a sound.

Once I finished checking there and didn't find anything, I was about to lower my guard, forget about it and go back to my room, until, THUD! Another one, this time way louder, coming from downstairs...

the most memorable twst gacha for me is the time when i only have 75 gems and 3 single keys on my twst jp account and that time, malleus masquerade ssr is out in twst jp server and i was SO SO SO SAD but i still tried to pull for him by using my 3 single keys, so i tried my luck and when i used the third AND last key, he sUDDENLY CAME HOME AND I WAS SO FCKING SURPRISED????????? because im not really expecting for him to come home and that time also im still salty over silver bc his halloween card didnt come home to me but malleus make it up for me HEHE 🥰 bUT STILL I WANT SILVER'S HALLOWEEN CARD TOO maybe in the future :((

So...I've been so obsessed lately with the Twst cast being self-aware and had this really random idea pop up in my head and decided to share it sry if it's rather cringy TT <3

Azul knew from the very beginning that Yuu was not a REAL person.

And that Yuu was something like a vessel, the line that connects a certain person who came from another dimension or world far more different from theirs.

At first, he was cautious with them, how can he trust someone who isn't even fully from this world and treat them like a game.

And he is definitely NOT ecstatic that he, Azul Ashengrotto was chosen to accompany them on their home screen. Never not even a tiny bit...maybe just a little.

And no he did not cheat the system to make him appear more often in the game.

And he did NOT sulk nor was disappointed whenever he/she had to log out of the twisted wonderland.

It took him quite a while to stop being in denial and accept that he truly likes him/her.

And when he did, he never stopped bragging about everything to the tweels about how the Ramshackle prefect would always compliment him and would sometimes squeal in delight whenever he appears. (Of course, the tweels were jealous).

There was never a day did Azul not think about him/her and never did he not wait. For him/her to log in to twisted wonderland, choose him when doing lessons, exams, draw his card, read his vignettes, and more.

He was so happy to be chosen and was so jealous whenever he/she would choose someone else, especially the Adeuce duo, he hates how those two had the privilege to be the ones to take most of the prefect's time.

He even memorized when you will log in and how many hours you usually spend time in twisted wonderland.

So when he noticed that you've been logging in less and logging out earlier than how you used to. Makes him wonder(panic) whether he did something wrong, was he annoying you? was he boring? Do you hate him or do you like someone else?

That can't be? You choose him first...out of all the characters on twisted wonderland, you chose him not Ace, Riddle, Deuce, or anyone else!!

"Are you busy right now?" Idias eyes flick up from the computer screen, startled as he hears your voice. He doesn't dare to speak unless he is spoken to, he feels like if he'd start the conversation instead odf you it'll turn out horrible.

His expression is one filled with worry; worried that you find him inadequate, worried that he'll fail you. The weight of all his worries is starting to become too much for him to handle, and it shows on his face. "I uhm…was just fighting the last boss on this quest"

"Would you mind if i watch?" Idia looks up at you, eyes wide.

He can barely breathe, such is his joy at the possibility of spending time with you. He nods, a soft smile breaking out on his face. He seems so different than the introverted person everyone knows him — he's softer, happier, and more at ease now that he's with you. "Whoa, my good boy is so goof at this" you mumbled to yourself, but you also made sure he heard you. He deserves the praise after all

Idia's eyes fill with shook, but they spark with joy when you praise him. His smile only broadens, to outstanders it may look, manic.

The way you're soft voice was calling him that had his heart pounding for you for eternity.

Malleus - You aren't afraid of me. But I'm starting to become afraid…of losing you.

"Did you enjoy this walk?" "M-Yes, indeed…" Malleus mumbles, his body nearly melting at your touch of your hands touching. The soft sound of his voice is almost enough to make you forget that you've already reached Ramshackle. For a moment, he seems almost… bashful. When he speaks, he glances down at you with soft, adoring eyes.

It takes you a moment to realize that his cheeks are still flushed pink- it's rare to see such a reaction from Malleus. In fact, you've never seen him look quite so… flustered.

"Im glad my good boy enjoyed himself"

"You… you think I'm your good boy?" Malleus murmurs softly, staring down at you from beneath his eyelashes. His voice is almost a purr in its softness. "You want… you want me to stay with you forever?"

Malleus is trembling in your hold, but it has nothing to do with his anger or anything, its excitement. He cannot muster the energy or strength to do anything but stare down at you, breath hitching. Your question has turned his thoughts to mush. His mind is elsewhere entirely-- but with you nearby, he isn't opposed to staying as close as he can.

Leona: ...You thinkin' you're gonna get it next time? Well, sorry to break it to you, but no one's ever gonna invite you. The player's never gonna want to see you in those robes again, so just put 'em away for good already.

Malleus: ...... Have you finished being catty? Wild beasts certainly like the sound of their own howling. And they like seeing me in these too, you know. They've even added me as their home character in these robes.

That's odd... The dialogue is different. Why are they referring to you as the 'player' now?

Leona: Oh? I didn't realise you were so focused on trying to impress them, lizard.

The scene transitioned back to the Diasomnia lounge; Leona looked smug, and Malleus looked surprised, his arms crossed in front of his chest.

Malleus: Eh? That's not...

Malleus closed his eyes and uncrossed his arms, opening them again to a neutral expression.

Malleus: Maybe you're just jealous that they appreciate my appearance in my ceremonial robes more than they appreciated yours.

Malleus looked smug once again, grinning with a hand placed on his hip. Leona suddenly looked angry, his ears twitching in annoyance.

Leona: Huh?! And how do you know that they didn't appreciate my ceremonial robes more? Are you that full of yourself?

Malleus: ...If I was full of myself, I would deliberately go out of my way to take naps around campus and act abrasive towards everyone!

They both seemed to be getting heated now, Malleus had lost any trace of amusement as he looked angry.

Leona: Tch, well, you know what? I wasn't the one that magically grew 5 centimeters bigger as soon as the player started showing up!

Malleus looked shocked now, the accusation was completely unexpected for him, and for you too.

Malleus: Kingscholar...!

Lilia's sprite suddenly moved into frame, his hands on his hips as he had a neutral expression, clearly wanting to break up the fight.

Lilia: You two, this is-

He was cut off by Malleus and Leona speaking in unison, Lilia's textbox moving forward without you tapping the screen to continue at all. In fact, no attempt to reach the menu or skip past was effective, now you were locked in this interaction.

Leona & Malleus: This doesn't involve you!

Malleus: Taking out your own insecurities on others like this, you really act as young as your age, Kingscholar.

Leona: Me? Look who's talking you wannabe edgy bastard.

The screen glitched, the edges of the screen darkened and tv static played over everything for a moment, before disappearing in an instant, both characters looked absolutely enraged.

Malleus: Edgy? Apologies that my natural charisma is too much for someone of your mental age to comprehend!

Leona: See? Just saying that proves my point! Most people learn to get over themselves once they move on from Freshman year, you know.

Malleus: If you want to prove anything, then stop harassing others with your sickeningly obnoxious attitude! Do you think you can counterbalance your toxic personality just by dressing and acting favorably to the player?

The background was slowly starting to fizzle out as the static returned, the character sprites and the textbox were the only things unobscured.

Leona: Whoa, be careful or you might cut yourself on that edge, Draconia.

Malleus seemed to be much more riled up now, and Leona looked smug once again.

Leona: Oh, my bad, you already do, don't you?

Malleus: D-Did you just accuse me of cutting myself? What the fuck is wrong with your head?!

That's new... None of the characters have cursed in the game before, and now that the vignette has gone off the rails, anything could happen. Your screen continued to glitch, everything around Malleus and Leona was getting fuzzy with more static, only their sprites and the textbox was able to be seen.

Leona: Yeah, go on! Let them hear everything you really think! I'm sure they'll be head over heels for you after this!

Malleus looked surprised again, now seeming to actually acknowledge you now.

Malleus: (Y/N)...? He's just trying to make me look bad...

He now addressed you by name, well the name that you put into the game for the protagonist anyways. His tone was strangely meek, unlike that of his usual character, his formal way of speaking has disappeared, now focused on defending himself to you, until Leona cut in again, also addressing you more directly.

Leona: That's not true! He started it!

The screen glitched again, two boxes appeared in front of the characters, one read 'Malleus' and the other read 'Leona', one on top of the other as you now had a choice to make.

Which will you choose?

Imagine this... *self aware AU*

Twisted Wonderland was originally planned to be an otome game. However the developers made the decision to make it a visual novel without any romantic routes implied, leading to the current version of the current game. But while the developers believed to have removed all codes of the otome game, one character remained self aware.

The ‘first’ character to be created, Malleus Draconia.

As the lonely high prince of the Briar Valley, companionship is something he longed for. And to have a way to find find that companionship, romance being an added value, Malleus could not let this opportunity escape.

So he manipulated the code. Allowing only his ‘character’ to have slight romantic moments with the player. And after days of interacting with the player, he falls deeper in love with them. He continues this process, pushing the player to like him more while he finds a way to initiate a more intimate connection with them.

Plot twist: Seeing Malleus showing more care to the player and vice versa, the other characters slowly catch on and make their own moves.

The difference between 'The Player' and 'The Overseer' based on my observations and some Headcannons

The Player:

Everyone knows that Twisted Wonderland is just a game and they're the characters in it. They as a self aware AU communicate with you through Yuu, as it is their only form of communication with you (unlike the Overseer). They see you as their 'safe space' and can be/are possessive of you, cause of the comfort that you bring to them (some more than the others). They know you're somewhere out there playing and having your own life, so they really appreciate it when you do decide to play.

You don't have worshippers, just a bunch of students obsessively starved for your affection and attention - trying to harbor it all to themselves (Poor boys, shower them with affection - or not, Choose the safest option).

The Housewardens would be the most clingiest of them all. They have some real problems to overblot in the first place (-Kalim, +Jamil), but your presence seems to calm all their worries, so stay with them a little longer. Just. A. Little. Longer.

They're also not above stalking - when you play there's always someone following Yuu around, and when you're offline those with more magic than the others have the chance to infiltrate through your phone and watch your daily life through the camera as well as hear your voice through the microphone.

Since you communicate through Yuu, there are 2 options I see happening when you're offline:

Yuu is living their normal life without your influence as an npc, where they normally talk to everyone behind the scenes

When you log out, Yuu just disappears, which I think is pretty reasonable. Everyone then knows that you're offline and the only thing they can do is wait for you to log in again.

And of course, our very lonely Future Fae King tries to bring you into their world with his powerful magic, so he won't have to be alone anymore💕 The others also approve of this action, so See you soon!

The Overseer:

The characters there are a bunch of lunatic worshippers that see you as a God/Creator, and The Overseer. You're known there internally and Nations are worshipping you (unlike The Player who is only known by the characters they met). Their level of worship is different in each county, when in some (Briar Valley) you're the highest being to ever exist, while in the others you're seen as a respectable person who watches over them, but not as the deity to offer-everything-you-can to (Sunset Savanna, since they already have a Royal Family that rules for centuries - the irony since Briar Valley also have long ruling Royal Family).

You're a perfect being that soothes them, they're totally obsessed and very possessive of your attention. They have no problems with slaying everyone who's not respecting you enough *ekhem* Briar Valley/Diasomnia. They are elated when they feel your gaze linger on them a little longer than on the others.

They can feel your gaze on them, feel your touches but your silhouette is blurred/transparent for them (thanks to the screen, cause as we all know, the screen can't compare to the real experience), so they don't know your exact look (even tho they're dying to know *ekhem* Pomefiore, cause of their Fairest Queen opinion on you).

The Great Seven also met you (thanks to the Fairy of thorns), their God and Creator. They have made various opinions on your person (all positive, cause don't forget - they're all obsessed delulus), like for example: The Fairest Queen opinion on you is that 'You're the Fairest one of them all', all said while kneeling before your beauty.

Of course our current generation is also dying to meet their creator in all of their glory, so our most powerful and most delusional Diasomnia boys (mostly Malleus and Lilia) are trying to find a way to bring you into their world to worship you endlessly like you rightfully deserve.

You're not really communicating with them through Yuu, as they can see you through the screen of your phone (although blurry). They are always talking to you, always looking at you. All those lines, all for you, towards you, so answer them, look at them or things may get really ugly.

Some of my rambling now:

I know many days ago I posted that my first fic will appear in a few days, but it never did (sorry🙏). My first fic project was very ambitious and in the meantime I caugt a cold which numbed me totally, but it did gave me many ideas for fics in the future����. So instead of the fic planned to be my first one, this one will serve the purpose of being the first fic - pretty analysational and rational (I hope).

I'm still working on the fic that was supposed to be the first one, yet i have too little information on the topic to write it (it's also gonna be analysis like), so I'm going to take my sweet time with writing it and hopefully after the october (cause of the october writing challenge), succesfully release it.

I hope this fic came out good and y'all are satisfied with it, I am also open to any criticizm towards my works, so please feel free to tell me where i can improve!

Luckily Riddles mother came by (for some reason) and helped you, being a doctor and all

Now, lady is of course no idiot so after her son had asked her that question she was just a new addition to the garden as a statue

Riddle was terrified that you saw the polite yet also arrogant way his mother spoke to you in the past as something rude

Now, you were of course not the biggest fan of her but at least she healed you back then

Once you are gone, running off to Pomefiore to help over there, Riddle had a talk with his mother

Usually he would show her respect but today it was like the roles were reversed

Kind words and any kind of love he had left for her were thrown out of the window when he asked her “how she could have not recognized their uncrowned ruler?”

Riddle was this close to snapping and using his special magic on her

For the first time Riddles mother was afraid of her son

Never before had she seen him so angry

But oh well, better stay in line and be nice to you instead of finding out how far she could push his boundaries

It was almost like he wouldn't just chop her head off in a metaphorical sense with his special magic but rather literally in a much, much more bloody way

Epels Grandmother

Ah yes, Epels sweet sweet granny could of course not miss her beloved grandson

She even prepared some cake and other delicious treats for him. How sweet!

So when perfection themselves, the Overseer, suddenly marched over after they spotted a familiar mop of light lilac hair he nearly had a heart attack

But instead of his Granny being surprised she just said a nice hello, that it was good to see you again and how things had been since you had seen each other

Why did his granny know the Overseer? Why did his granny know God?

Now Epel couldn't of course ask that later part, considering that his villages view on you was in comparison rather... yeah let's call it “extreme”

Turns out he had forgotten something when he visited Harveston the last time and you brought it to him, only for you to meet his Grandmother before you ran into him. Giving her what he forgot the two of you had a nice little talk before you left

And this is the point when Epel felt like he was ready to bash his head against the wall

Vil must have noticed a short in Epels mood because the model just threw him a very poisonous look

So here Eprl was, standing like a lost little child between his Granny and f-ing God whilst the two of you had a nice little chat about the weather

When you finally said goodbye to the two, running off to Diasomnia because you were invited for tea, Epel was juts like “Granny, we need to talk.”

Say goodbye to your apple-free days because after that talk, there will be boxes of so-called “offerings” in front of your door. Every. Single. Day.

“Granny, don't be too shocked but you met God.” “Hoho, what are you talking about?” “...” “Oh...”

For the rest of the day her legs were so shaky that Epel was afraid for her health

I mean, come on, the very person who has drilled tales about a deity into your head finally meeting said deity is something that is guaranteed to have a way too high blood pressure

The next time you run into her she isn't entirely sweet anymore

Of course she is still nice but there is something creepy about her. The way her eyes drill into you, how her questions are always a tad bit too personal

How she didn't recognize you the first time you two met is a wonder considering that she has that sixth sense every Fae has that tingles even when you are being simply mentioned

But today is a great day, Malleus grandmother came over to visit her grandson, a rare day of rest for her

Maleus was just about to tell her that he had invited a guest when you showed up

So when he stood up to introduce you to her she was just like “Oh, the child of man I met that one day.”

Cue Malleus standing there like a plank

Poor man is so surprised that he can't even ask how the heck you two met each other

When he finally asked when you two met he found out that he had forgotten to send a letter of his so you had jumped through one of the mirrors and delivered it to the castle yourself

After almost getting impaled for jumping right into a heavily guarded castle you had explained yourself and boom, you had a fife minute talk with grandma Draconia

Ok, great, wonderful, but did she know that you were the Overseer?

When he told her who you were she had to set down her teacup, shock sinking into her bones

This was the day Diasomnia saw their dorm leader drop a teacup

Just before the other could chant another "Smooch the bride", you immediately lunged toward the bride. All those gym class training paid off! Basically, this and that until the ghost inflated.

And instead of Rook ordering you and Epel around, you took the steering wheel before anyone could. "Move yer' ass you glorified wood logs! Move move move!"

The lucky person is the person who gets to feel you dragging them. Absolute win!

Cheny'a was careful enough to avoid Trey and Riddle while Vil was feeling rather generous in feeding Neige~ Oh, and Malleus is always bullseye in his shots, hitting everyone down in no time. He was pretty pissed (sulking) that he was not invited to join your fun. Silver was not being merciful too, he didn't fall asleep at all during this whole thing!.

Rollo was feeling rather grateful but also sad that you did not come to him to ask for his help :( And Crowley just watched everything from the sidelines while praying that nothing bad will be sent to him after this. Well, he's happy with how bright his students are.
