it’s upsetting to me that despite setting up each league member to have a specific and beautiful depiction of the ignorances of hero society in their own way, the story never really considers their words at all in making change for the betterment of said society. these are my thoughts regarding the conclusion of the villains, by each character…
shigaraki’s entire character boils down to the fundamental message of society, both heroes and civilians, ignoring the downtrodden who are in dire need of saving, just because it’s inconvenient for them. shigaraki represents those downtrodden people - the neglected children, the poor, the desperate. he represents that criminals are made, not born. yet, despite the beautiful set up we had with his entire being paralleling izuku’s, his monologue during his fight with endeavour, and him deliberately stating he needs to be a hero for the villains, this is just thrown to the side in the end. izuku didn’t save anything when it came to shigaraki even though he vowed to do so when nana shimura asked him if he had the ability to kill her grandson. he said he wouldn’t, but that’s what happened in the end, isn’t it? was the crying child within him who dreamed of being a hero not enough to communicate his humanity to the heroes? in the end he was just a small boy, remaining neglected by the people who were meant to hold his hands and save him. he didn’t even get to reconnect with the other league members - his dear family, in the end. kurogiri had said, his friends were waiting for him.
toga represented the rejection of people with unconventional quirks and how she’s punished for just being who she is. she can’t help who she is. in the bnha society, since her quirk isn’t glamorous or conventional, she is looked down upon and immediately labelled inherently evil for acting upon her desires. nobody in her previous life tried to understand her, not even her parents, as they resorted to counselling in hopes of suppressing her over helping her. and yes, ochako did understand her in the end which can somewhat serve as closure for toga because her love was returned, it’s still unfortunate that only ochako will understand her and nobody else. society will go on judging people with said unconventional quirks without hesitation, not taking the time to understand how hard it is to be shunned over something out of your control.
speaking of the view of differing quirks, it brings us now to spinner and his mini-arc of fighting for the visibility and acceptance of heteromorphs. we literally see the existence of cult groups in the story that are against the existence of heteromorphs in society because of their appearance. my complaints are mainly directed at horikoshi for fumbling the concept of discrimination and fighting for the liberation of the oppressed, especially since it directly reflects concepts of racism, colourism, and alienation in real life. although, i would be lying to say it isn’t a somewhat realistic depiction of how fighting for rights is widely frowned upon. in order to make change come about, society must be disrupted. that is exactly what spinner did in the end, and was met with shoji and koda telling him he must sit and wait peacefully for change to come about - which we all know does nothing in the long run. it’s so upsetting to me that spinner, the one who is undoubtedly the closest to shigaraki within the league, had the outcome he did. he had so much compassion for his cause in bringing about stain’s will, and it just hurts seeing his moment watered down to his nomufication and demonization of the heteromorph revolution.
then of course, is dabi. his entire drive was to prove how terrible of a person endeavor is, and how contradictory it is that someone like him saves people for a living. dabi is an embodiment of all of endeavor’s sins, coming back to put him in his place. however, in dabi’s conclusion with all his family members being there when he nearly combusted, endeavor’s words of atonement (i’m using this word very lightly because what really did he atone for anyways) will never be heard by the greater society. all the civilians will understand is that endeavor brought down his estranged villain son. people will most likely move on from the fact that he abused his family in order to focus on his ‘bringing down’ of dabi (which honestly was all on shoto’s part) and ultimately saving the day. people will not take dabi’s existence as a catalyst for critical thought into who exactly they call heroes and question the integrity of heroes - what are the kind of people that save them.
speaking of questioning the integrity of heroes, this leads into stain. i don’t have too much to say about him but i think it was stupid to just have afo kill him. he wasn’t a villain, he was a vigilante. i think it was such a waste of his character to just have him show up in the story, get jailed, and then have one interaction with all might. i feel he could’ve done so much more with communicating his cause to society, and in reaching regular civilians rather than sparking a flame in the hearts of some villains such as spinner. what a shame. what a waste.
also, i want to mention twice. i loved twice so much, he definitely stuck with me. i thought the concept of “all it takes is one bad day” was such a perfect thing to include for a villain character. his entire life was changed for the worse over a motorcycle accident when he was a teenager. though living in his loneliness which was ultimately destroying him, he had met the league. the members of the league, especially toga, served not as a stepping stone to use and swing his life around in that way, but simply as friends. a family, that he found a place in despite everything else that had gone wrong for him. he had this one thing going for him, and he was abruptly torn away from it with the touch of a feather. he wasn’t even asking for much, he had just found his people - his place in the society that rejected him over a very human mistake, where he could live as himself. and to top it all off because apparently that wasn’t bad enough, shigaraki doesn’t even know he died - and if he did, there was nothing shown for it. another fumble by horikoshi.
tldr; what pains me the most in all of this, is that not only are all the league’s reasons for fighting wholly overlooked by the heroes, but none of what they stood for is going to be considered in the end for reconstructing a just society. their words, their pains, and their dreams are all going to be brushed aside in preference for society simply celebrating their deaths and incarceration. because in the end, all the humanity within themselves that they bared to the world in their fight is going to amount to nothing to people who just wanted them gone. nobody is there to mourn them.
and it hurts so bad.

can you write nika and reader as parents? Like they are both players for the storm (that’s how they met) and have two kids (could be adopted, donor, etc.) them at practices or games just enjoying their family
Take as many creative liberties as you want, this is just a babble lol

Nika and I met when Nika got drafted to my team, Seattle Storm. We eventually started dated and now were married with twin girls we adopted, Serena and Selene. Their 2nd birthday pasted a few months ago.
Me and Nika took them to practice with us. They were currently fighting over the ball while Nika went to go get a second ball for them.
“Hey, Hey girls. There no need for fighting. Mommy going to go get another ball for you guys so you each have a ball.” I kneel down to them, putting my hand on each of their shoulder to get them to stop fighting.
“And here you go Sel.” Nika walked up, handing the ball to Selene. Selene happily took the ball, running off onto the court her sister following right after her her. Serena pointed to the basketball hoop.
“Mama can you lift me?” Serena called me over. I got up, walking over to them as Nika stayed behind, watching. I picked Serena up lifting her up to the hoop. She threw the ball into the hoop earning a cheer from me, nika and her sister.
“Come on Selene, you turn now!” I put serena down, she immediately ran to nika jumping up and down. I picked up selene holding her up to the hoop so she could throw it in. Selene hesitated to throw it, not wanting to miss.
“Come on baby, you got this.” Nika encouraged her, holding serena in her arms. Selene finally threw the ball in, making it. Me, nika and serena cheered as I held serena in my arms.
A few minutes went by. Selene and Serena were running as I shot half court shoots with nika.
“Hey, be careful you guys! Please don’t fall.” Nika spoke to the twins, worry was all over her face as she watched them run.
“They’ll be fine love.” I wrapped my arms around nika waist, resting my head on her shoulder.
“Family night out this?” Nika asked. I nodded, looking at her with a big grin.
“Family night out.”

Here’s Chapter 4 of the Lover’s Almanac
———————————————————————
“Thank the fuckin’ lord, we made it!” Soul exclaimed as the pair stepped off the train and became immersed in the nighttime babble of Chicago.
“You’re saying that as if you weren’t asleep for half the ride here,” Maka giggled while running a hand through his raging case of bedhead.
“Selwyn!” they then heard a voice croak out before a stout older woman came running towards Soul and immediately circled her arms around him.
The young woman watched as her husband slightly floundered while his grandma pressed her face into his shoulder and began to sniffle, only to circle his hands around her and bury his face in her curly gray hair a moment afterwards.
“Ah, Soul! And you must be Maka!” another voice added before Maka watched a man who appeared to be a near copy of Soul come jogging over towards them.
“Ahh, you wooed an absolute beauty little Sel,” Mrs. Evans exclaimed as she regarded Maka with a warm smile.
“I suppose I have to go through the trouble of introducing myself, since it appears my baby brother has caught a small case of the sniffles. Wesley Evans, Mrs. Maka Evans,” Wes added while dramatically bowing before Maka and gently taking one of her hands into his palm.
“Sh-shut up Wes,” Soul then added before both brothers let out a set of giggles and pulled each other into a tight embrace.
“Hmph, I see both of my grandsons failed to introduce me properly as well. I am Henrietta Evans, Sel-Soul’s grandmother. Thank you for looking after my boy for so long,” Mrs. Evans added while clasping her hands ontop of Maka’s, eliciting the young woman to release an amused sigh.
“It’s really no problem Mrs. Evans-“
“No please, call me grandmother,” the older woman hummed with a small wave of her hand, probing Maka’s smile to widen even further.
“It’s really no problem, grandmother. I-I’ve loved your grandson long before the thought of marriage even crossed my mind, and I honestly believe he looks after me much more than I look after him,” Maka replied before giving Mrs. Evans a small smile and then watching Soul gape in her direction.
“Tch, I’m not all that great,” her husband grumbled as she rolled her eyes at his feeble attempt to preserve his aloof persona.
“I don’t think you’re fooling anyone Soul,” Wes hummed, probing the other man to give him a pointed look.
“Well, enough of that! Shall we start heading to the hotel? Reginald, please fetch the bags,” Wes exclaimed before a lanky butler came sprinting towards Maka and took the suitcases she was carrying with a small nod.
The young woman nodded back as she realized how ridiculous she must look in her disheveled state due to a journey across a handful of states when compared to the prim and proper members of the Evans family whom had just arrived from London.
It’s even more ridiculous considering I’m not even Soul’s actual wife-
“You alright?” Maka heard Soul question, causing her to slightly jump at the sudden inquiry.
“Ye-yes, I’m alright,” Maka replied before feeling her husband lace their fingers together.
“Wes is a bit much but I-“
“No no Soul, I swear I’m alright! It’s just…interesting to see how differently you were raised,” she replied, probing Soul to let out a small sigh.
“Right, that part can be a bit much too, but I swear no one here thinks of ya’ any less. I’d say that was the main reason why they didn’t tell my father they were comin’ all the way to Chicago to meet us, other than me uh not wanting to come face to face with him ever again. Are…you sure there isn’t somethin’ else you’d wanna talk about-“ her husband added while tightening his hold on her hand, eliciting the young woman to feel a smoldering warmth light up within her chest from the small gesture.
“I told you, I’m fine silly. Now let’s just enjoy our time here,” she tittered while watching Soul stare at her for a few more moments before regarding her with a small smile as well.
———————————————————————
“And that’s why I always make sure to take my tea with precisely three cubes of sugar,” Mister Excalibur exclaimed before taking a long sip from his cup, probing Soul to let out a terse chuckle.
He could see Maka standing directly behind him while pretending to iron their clothes beside their hotel bed.
The young woman then used his brief gaze to signal for him to finally steer the conversation towards the business proposal.
“Yes, well Mister Excalibur as…riveting as your stories about tea are-“
“He isn’t finished yet,” Hiro, Mister Excalibur’s secretary, spoke over Soul while tapping a pen against the notebook he’d been holding up.
“Fool!” Mister Excalibur then exclaimed before pointing his cane in Hiro’s direction, forcing the secretary to flinch at the sudden action.
“Your job is to take notes about the proposal, not to speak for me,” the businessman added while smoothing out his mustache with his free hand.
He really does look like a fuckin’ duck in real life Soul couldn’t help but think as his mind began to conjure up the countless notes about The Great and Powerful Excalibur Maka had drilled into his psyche the past few months.
He could feel himself begin to blush at the fresh memories of how she’d make him jam, give him massages, and pepper his face in kisses as small tokens of gratitude for complying to all this in the first place before Mister Excalibur put down his teacup.
“I’d like to savor my tea while discussing the terms, so let’s get to it shall we?” the businessman added, causing Soul to enthusiastically nod at his request.
“I believe it’d be best to go over the basics first. Why is it that you want to open a department store in Death Valley out of all places?” Mister Excalibur questioned, probing Soul to release an amused hum due to how easily he could answer such a question.
“Well sir, I believe it comes down to one word: change. There’s a lot going on outside of Death Valley, and I believe that the townspeople have a right to experience it for themselves without having to take an arduous journey into the city. That’s why I decided to bring the innovations of the past few decades to our humble town,” Soul monologued before peering to the side and watching Maka give him an enthusiastic grin at how well he’d summed up what she’d taught him.
“Ah, I see. But do you have what it takes to stay vigilant regardless of what comes before you?” Mr. Excalibur then added while Hiro loudly scribbled into his notebook beside him.
“Yes, I believe I-“
“It should not be a belief. Weakness is the bane of businessmen. It has no right being in that field,” Excalibur exclaimed over Soul, although the younger man became too fixated on the way Maka’s expression mellowed into a scowl to even gauge what he should respond with next.
“I wish I could answer the question for you my boy, but it has to come from within. If you can’t even find it in yourself to always stay level-headed then how-“
“HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO GET ANYWHERE IN LIFE WITH SUCH AN UNREALISTIC NOTION!” Maka exclaimed over Mister Excalibur, probing everyone to turn their heads in her direction.
“Do you believe human beings to be capable of diminishing emotion? I mean, look at yourself, only content with the discussion if you’re able to tell your little tales. Do you think Edison doesn’t have doubts in his mind? What about Da Vinci, do you think a time period like his allowed him the luxury of always being strong. Fuck no! Someone helped me realize-“ the young woman continued before slightly faltering and leveling her expression at Soul, who only gaped at her while wondering what the hell he was supposed to do now.
“Someone helped me realize that the bravest thing to do sometimes is accept your fears rather than subdue them, so I believe it’d be best to rethink your ideals Sir,” Maka then finished, causing a heavy silence to fill the room for a few moments while Soul made direct eye contact with his wife and noticed how a fervent blush had begun to stretch across her face.
“Impudent woman! This proposal doesn’t even concern you and here you are spouting nonsense-“
“FOOL!” Mister Excalibur shouted over Hiro’s reprimands, probing the other man to go completely silent once again.
“First my incompetent assistant, it’s rather bold of you to call a woman impudent when we’re all aware of my past endeavors with Arachne Gorgon. Secondly, I couldn’t have answered the question better young lady. What was your name again?” the businessman explained before regarding Maka with a firm nod.
“Mrs. Maka Albarn-Evans Sir. Were there any other questions you’d like for me to answer?” Maka replied, probing Soul to sit back in his seat with a content sigh.
———————————————————————
“To Maka!” Wes announced as everyone seated around the dining table raised their wine glasses with a small cheer.
“Oh no, I didn’t really do much! If anything, I’d say luck was on my side,” Maka replied before feeling Soul rest his palm ontop her hand.
“Are you kiddin’? You were on fire Maka! That duck-faced businessman couldn’t think of a single trick question to stump ya’!” her husband exclaimed, causing the young woman to regard Soul with a small smile before her mind began to reel at how distracting he was in a pinstripe suit and wine colored shirt that seemed to illuminate the warmth within his eyes.
“Soul is always telling Wes just how brilliant you are Maka, so no need to act so modest for us,” Eliza, Wes’s fiancé, replied while giving the other woman a knowing wink, probing Mrs. Evans let out an amused snort and nod in agreement as well.
“Thank you, all of you! It feels nice to get to know Soul’s family beside from me…”
Even though I’m not truly part of this family, much less a true wife to Soul Maka thought as she ran her hands against the black dress Eliza and Mrs. Evans had gifted her earlier that week.
She could hear the family break into separate conversations before feeling Soul nudge his knee against her own, probing the young woman to look up and meet his worried gaze.
“Well, I believe Eliza and I are in need of an evening stroll. Rightttt dear?” Wes hummed while sending a coy smile to his wife.
“Right! Will you be joining us as well grandmother?” Eliza then questioned before turning her head in Mrs. Evans direction.
“Why yes, I need to keep myself active in this old age. And besides, it’s good for newlyweds to get some quality time together,” Mrs. Evans exclaimed as she jumped out of her seat and walked over to plant a kiss onto Soul’s forehead, which garnered an embarrassed grumble out of the man.
“Good night and congrats again,” the older woman then hummed while she rested her hands ontop Maka’s shoulders, gave Soul a large grin, and then shut the door on her way out.
“S-sorry, they’re just-“
“It’s ok Soul, they’re all very welcoming like you’d said they’d be,” Maka giggled before watching her husband rub one of his hands against the back of his neck.
“You, uh look really nice…in that dress. I think it’d also be kinda nice if you wore it for Halloween…if you want of course,” Soul then mumbled, eliciting the young woman to stare at the red and black checkered floor as a fierce blush began to cover her cheeks.
“Hm, I guess I’ll wear it if you’ve taken such a liking to it. But only if you promise to wear that suit for the party too,” Maka added before regarding him with a devious smile, only to become distracted by the slightest hint of red at the tips of his ears.
“If that’ll please my wife,” Soul hummed while giving her a shark toothed grin, probing her eyebrows to quirk up at his advance.
He-he didn’t mean it in a romantic way-
“Crap, speakin’ of Halloween, we haven’t even started practicing our dance yet. Guess I’ll just have to pretend to sprain my knee or somethin’,” her husband then grumbled, probing Maka to rise from her seat.
“Oh noo, I want to see my papa’s face when we’re waltzing with the other couples,” the young woman giggled while pulling Soul up as well.
“Huh-“
“Let’s start practicing right now,” Maka exclaimed over Soul before pulling him towards the phonograph that was seated on a large oak table at one of the corners of the room.
“You’re not gonna let me say no are ya’?” her husband questioned while walking forward and slowly turning the phonograph’s hand crank in order for it to sputter into life.
“Yes I am! I told you in the beginning that your happiness-“
“Kiddin’, kiddin’,. Y’know I love pissing off your old man too,” Soul then added before stretching out a hand in her direction, which she eagerly took.
“You’re going to have to take the lead,” Maka mumbled while feeling Soul’s hand rest on her hip, only to become distracted a moment later due to him giggling against her collarbone and then letting out a hum in understanding.
A slow tune soon began to trickle out from the phonograph, probing the two to start idly shuffling their feet around, with Soul taking the initiative as she’d ordered.
He twirled them around the room for a little while, allowing Maka to ease into his arms and lead them into another circle.
“Owww,” Soul hissed as the bottom of Maka’s heel stabbed against one of his shoes, forcing her to splutter out a cacophony of sorrys.
“Hm, ya’ know what’s making this hard for you,” her husband added before they began to shuffle their feet in time to the music once more.
“What?” she questioned, only to be met with a small chuckle from Soul.
“You’re too stiff. Try worryin’ less about getting the steps right and more about having fun,” he retorted, causing Maka to shake her head in thought.
“Well…if that’s all it takes,” the young woman added before sliding her free hand onto the center of Soul’s back and giggling at the way his eyebrows shot up for a split second before relaxing once more.
She then urged them to start moving across the floor again at a more slow and even pace.
I suppose it is fun getting to see his handsome face up close Maka thought to herself before leaning back and allowing her husband to keep her from falling onto the floor.
The young woman got up in a shaky flourish and allowed Soul to lead them into faster circles across the floor.
Her body felt as if it were lit on fire, although she couldn’t tell if it was because of the physical excretion or how she and Soul had inched closer to one another in the middle of the dance.
She then decided to try a more advanced step, probing her into turning around while keeping her fingers knotted with Soul’s own slender extremities.
Maka backed into his figure while raising her hands until they were leveled with her shoulders.
The music had become nonexistent due to how focused the young woman was at her and her husband’s shallow breathing.
Maka could feel Soul slightly shudder against her before slowly tilting his head to the side in order for them to be face to face with one another.
There was another bout of silence between the pair, only this time the young woman could feel her husband’s lidded eyes watch her own as she raised her heels and expelled the distance between them.
Maka then closed her eyes for a split second and was immediately lulled by the taste of wine against her lips, causing the young woman to unlatch one of her hands from Soul’s grasp and use it to grip his chin in order to deepen the kiss.

The Fall of “Baby Face”
“You’ll never take me alive, Injun whore!” proclaimed the 19 year old outlaw, Pete “Baby Face” Atkins as Moonbeam slowly advanced on the young horse thief. “You stole from the Kiowa,” the woman intoned darkly in a voice both calm and forbidding, “and for that you must pay!” The teenage desperado swallowed and, panicked, went for the sixgun at his side, but the warrior maiden was like lightning. She leapt forward, seized Pete’s right wrist with both hands, and swung him over her lithe body to send him crashing into the dust. He lay on his back, groaning, as Moonbeam’s pet mountain lion cub sniffed around him. He raised his head to see the formidable long legged form of the female brave standing over him, arms akimbo.
“Please, ma’am,” begged the youth, tears beginning to course down his filthy face, “don’t hand me over to your people! Don’t let them burn me alive, or cut off my balls, or stake me out in the sun covered in honey for the soldier ants to find!” Moonbeam looked down on the baby-faced rustler, a puzzled expression on her face. “And please, ma’am,” the defeated outlaw continued, “please don’t scalp me!” And the young man suddenly burst into tears. Moonbeam reached out an arm and hauled the babbling and sobbing boy to his feet. She took his gun and pushed it into the belt of her flowing buckskin dress, and then removed the bandana from the neck of the cringing bad man. She spun him around and used the cloth to tie the terrified Pete’s hands behind his back. “You have been reading too many dime novels, young man,” the female warrior told her prisoner impatiently as she bound him. “Now take me to where you have hidden the Kiowa horses. Then I will decide what to do with you.”
My interpretation of the story behind Manestrale Slar Til, Solvpilen #22 (November 1976). Solvpilen was the Norwegian language version of Zilverpijl, or Silver Arrow, the adventures of a Kiowa chief, and his formidable female sidekick, Moonbeam. Both characters were the creation of Belgian artist Frank Sels, whose originals were written in Flemish.

hmmm how about some thoughts on bushmed domesticity... their average day-to-day activities?? :3c
HIIIII GOOP HEHEHE oh.., i have Billions and Billions.,., HEHEHE.,., hmmm..... APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE for going apeshit .i love domestic bushmed i could talk about them for all eternity
first of all i think that once they (finally) get together, they settle into "domestic roles" really easily. like it just comes naturally to both of them. medic loves Dramatic Declarations of Love but he also likes his own personal routines just like sniper does and can get a bit irritable if his lab-experimenting is interrupted! that works just fine with sniper because i think sniper also still greatly values his alone time. they're definitely a couple that knows they're both married to their jobs (and pets/hobbies!) so that's totally no surprise. they've both known that and love that about each other, so finding time for one another is very organic and when they can be together, they are!
that being said i think that this is the kind of intimacy that sniper is the most comfortable with. behind closed doors, just the two of them (and maybe their animals hehe!)... this is where sniper can really shine as the attentive partner i think he can be! doting on someone else is a super new concept to him as far as being in a Serious Relationship (which i think medic is his first. i think he's had his share of flings throughout his life but never wanted Commitment until medic), but he finds that he really enjoys it. he loves cooking for he and medic and doesn't mind bringing dinner to the lab so that medic can keep working (he knows the doctor doesn't like to stop!) and he can listen to medic babble about his day or what he's doing or just anything! hehe!
sniper loves to listen and medic loves to talk... of course sniper can be a bit of a chatterbox once you figure out what makes him tick, but all in all i think he's most content with not being the "conversational center". he likes leaning against medic's desk with takeout boxes (or something he cooked) and munching and "mhmm"ing and nodding and listening to medic while he paces around (and of course paces up to sniper to take a bite off of/out of his food! HEHE) and continues to pace and talk SKDFKSFD...
i think food sharing in general is something that is so intimate for them.. sniper snapping his homemade granola bars in half to share some with medic (or medic just making himself at home and patting sniper down for any Treats he might have on him and fishing them out of his pockets and taking a bite HEHE), peeling an orange for the two of them to share, medic making hearty big breakfasts and eating off of the same plate etc... its very Intimate to me and very Both Of Them to me... i've said it before but i don't think medic would try and "fix" sniper but i think sniper would take it upon himself to maybe eat a bigger breakfast... get a little more sleep (he gets the best sleep of his life when he falls asleep curled up around medic!)... etc... HEHE...
i think as mercenaries they have to take joy where they can find it and so small acts of care go a long way for both of them but for different reasons. for sniper, he always took care of himself and never likes/d asking for help. for medic it's just that nobody really ever offers and so it surprises him when others do things for him... some of my favorite things to think about with them are like:
(sniper drinking out of a bottle of water) "did you drink any water today? >:/" and medic grins cheekily and is like "no... hehe... :3c" and snipers Frowning (lovingly) at him and medic's like ".... but i'd like to have a sip now please!" and sniper hums "mhmm... >_>" and medic takes the bottle and suddenly remembers how delicious water is and chugs the whole thing and sniper grins and is like "there you go." kisses medic's cheek....
medic bathing sniper... i do not subscribe to the idea that sniper is constantly reeking but i do think that he's not someone who "Self cares" on the same level as medic or spy would with like. skincare, hair tonics, etc. gas station products are fine enough for him! but when they shower together there's something that is soooo intimate to both of them (but sniper specifcially) about feeling medic running his hands through sniper's hair and humming/whistling... massaging his sore neck and shoulders... sniper feeling sleepy and resting his cheek against medic's (or his chin on medic's shoulder) and purring like a crocodile and medic thinks it's so precious... medic doesn't take sniper's trust in him lightly! it means a lot to him! running his fingers over the y-shaped scar on his chest... this always makes sniper's breath hitch no matter hwat.... medic will whisper something tender in german or english and sniper will purr and maybe murmur a drowsy/relaxed "mmhmmm.,.,"... even if he doesn't know what medic is saying!
shaving each other's faces... this is fun for both of them i think. medic likes how skilled sniper is with a knife (sniper told him he'd shaved with his combat knives before and it never left medic's mind) and likes feeling his breathing on his neck while sniper shaves his face/throat... medic goes to giggle and sniper says (in his Low Voice) "no twitchin, dovey. don't wanna clip you. >:)" i don't think he would, but i think the "threat" makes medic's toes curl!
medic doing Very Basic skincare for sniper.,., putting just some simple moisturizer on his face... sniper being super reluctant (and medic assuring him he didn't have to put anything on him!) but sniper trusts medic... leans his face into medic's hands and is like "nono, it's fine. just... dunno anything about this kind of Pretty Stuff..." and medic smiles and is like "of course you don't! you're already so Ruggedly Pretty... you don't need to preen like i do! hoo!" and sniper's face turns. bright red and medic grins (sadistic - knew it would make sniper's face light up) and medic massages it into his face... sniper sighs heavily and closes his eyes... medic studies him and feels his cheekbones, the hollow of his cheeks... the roughness of his lips... the scar on his nose.... oughh... medic loves him so much... his greatest achievement... his partner... the person who puts all of his trust into medic (someone who people don't usually trust)....
LSKDJFLSKDJF I JUST SCROLLED UP AND REALIZED HOW FREAKING LONG THIS ASK WAS GOD FORGIVE ME I COULD LITERALLY GO ON FOR HUNDREDNSE OF YEARS... if you ever have any more things/prompts/whatever about them i'd literally love to answer them, this kind of thing is SO FUN for me and i love writing lil tidbits about them!! ;__; <3333 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE ASK MY FRIEND I HOPE YOU HAD AN AMAZING WEEKEND AND LOVELY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! <33333

Serial Experiments Lain sucks
I just finished Lain. My key takeaways from it is that the story makes no fucking sense at all, it's massively overrated, and that Lain's sister is cute.
For the record I only watched this because everyone was talking about it so I thought I'd get spoiled one day if I didn't watch it first. Ironically, the story makes so little sense I couldn't spoil you even if I tried. But assume this posts contains spoilers anyway!
Tumblr media
Lain is an anime about a girl called Lain, who spends most of her first episodes looking like a total moron, perhaps because of the art style. She looks like Osaka if Osaka was quiet. This Lain isn't just slow, she also knows nothing about computers (called Navi) or the Internet (called Wired world).
As the story progresses, she somehow becomes a computer genius who builds a super computer but only uses the computer to check if she has any new mail.
Most of the anime's appeal comes from the annoying way it was directed and written. Pretty much every episode consists of semi-psycho-horror scenes chopped up. The character will be in a psychologically scary situation that makes no sense such as being in a room where everyone is looking at them and this will go on for 2 minutes until the scene ends and a different scene that seems to be completely disconnected from the previous one starts. This choppiness ensures you can not connect any dots. In the middle of the anime, a load of pseudoscience based on real-life figures is dumped onto the viewer, also in chopped parts spread through the episodes. This exposition should explain things doesn't at all and it's like someone just started babbling things off a wikipedia article while you were trying to watch anime.
By the end of the anime there are 3 or 4 things that make sense, but a vast amount of the anime is spent on extremely random crap. You could tell a story like this in 2 episodes. In fact, Paprika does this as it's a movie. People seem to like the eerie ambient that resembles Shinsekai Yori but SSY at least makes way more sense that SEL.
2/10 wouldn't recommend. (2 because Lain's sister is cute, without her it would be 1/10)

COLD & COLDER [ l. wong ]
↬︎ Group: Wayv
↬︎ Pairing: Vampire!Lucas x black!huntress OC
↬︎ Warning(s): none
PLOT. headcanons on being sucked into an arranged marriage with vampire prince lucas.
pt. 2
*gif not mine*
Tumblr media
: selene cole came from a long line of hunters. she knew how to shoot a gun when she was ten, wielded double swords when she was twelve.
: the supernatural blended in with the humans and most lives peacefully, but some were downright devilish and loved to cause issues
: that’s where selene came in. at twenty-one, she had made a name for herself in the hunter and supernatural world.
: as the cold-blooded cole. merciless in her kills and never stopping short in torture tactics, selene was a force to be reckoned with.
: so how did she manage to fall in a conflicting situation with a vampire? the vampire prince at that.
: well....it was a dark and gloomy night. selene was on her way to an event, hosted by the United Hunters and Supernatural Allegiance council.
: sounds stupid right? well, it was. selene hated these events, but being apart of a prominent hunting family; to which her mother was a council member of the org, she had to attend.
: the deep green, satin dress she wore hugged her figure as she stepped out of the exclusive limo and up the red steps
: selene never knew what to expect, these events always brought something new every time they occured.
: so when she saw this fine ass man at the bar, she bought damn near tripped down the steps.
“Selene! You look beautiful honey!” Mrs. Cole greeted her daughter like she hadn’t seen her years.
Well...it had been three years and five months since they’d seen each other. By choice.
With a genuine smile, Selene hugged her mother back and pulled away. “Thanks mom. You look great also, did you cut your hair?”
Her mom always kept her hair in curls, like an afro. It came at her shoulders, but now it seemed to stop below her ear lobes.
“Oh yes! Been a year now and I love it! Your father is talking to the King of the vampires right now, I think you should go over there. Your brothers are there as well, great time for y’all to mingle.” Her mother offered, probably about to go mingle with other important people.
Selene’s eyes wandered the crowd in search of her three brothers, she caught eyes with the man again before resuming her search for the four men. She spotted them near the stage, standing behind their father as he spoke to a man and a woman.
Great.
“Alright mom. I’ll see you later, love you.” Selene said, leaning forward to give her mom a light hug and a chaste kiss to the cheek.
The two Cole women separated and it was up to Selene to minimize the amount of socializing she’d have to do in between her journey to her brothers and father.
It took roughly three minutes for her to reach them, but it felt like ten with the amount of hunters praising her for her work in the hunting world. With their praises came sneers and glares from other supernatural groups.
Keep a better grip on your people and I wouldn’t have to kill them Selene thought to herself whenever someone glared at her.
“Sweetheart!! It’s great to see you!” Mr. Cole greeted his daughter, but it wasn’t one of genuine intent.
Her father was always quick to boast about his favorite child. It often led to tension with her other siblings who were....less successful than she.
With a tight lipped smile, Selene stiffly gave a hug to her father. “Hey dad, how are you?”
The older man let out a small laugh and pulled away from his daughter’s embrace, but kept his hand on her lower back. This let Selene know that he was about to show her off to his ‘friends.’
“Oh i’m wonderful, listen I want you to meet King Lucian of the vampires and his wife, Queen Mei. They’re striking up a peace treaty with the council. Their son is around here somewhere.” Her father babbled.
Selene smiled at the two immortal creatures and bowed slightly in respect. She may have had to kill their kind, but she always respected the unnatural that walked this earth until they disrespected others.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you. How lovely that a trip to see my brothers grants me the opportunity to meet royalty.”
Queen Mei gave a warming smile, well as warming as she could get, while King Lucian held an unbothered stare.
“Oh, you’re too kind. Our son is actually supposed to be over here to meet your family, but it seems he’s wandered off.” The Queen commented.
This son of theirs must be very important and childish if he runs off like this. Selene’s first impression on the vampire Prince was none too kind.
“Well you know how boys can be. Always off doing their own thing.” Mr. Cole spoke, vouching for the boy.
Mentions of boys reminded Selene what she came over to do. Excusing herself, she turned around to face the three males that were behind her.
“If it isn’t the three stooges.” She teased, a playful glint in her eyes as she sized up her siblings.
Marco scoffed. “You’re one to talk, princess.” He bit, emphasizing the ending.
Selene raised an eyebrow at his hostility. Her brother was never this tight with her, often engaging in the teasing she started with them.
Roman, her youngest brother, nudged Marco warningly. “Bro, chill. Watch what you say.”
Selene eyed the two with caution before locking eyes with the oldest sibling out of them all. “Z, what is he talking about?” She asked Zeus, suddenly feeling like a little kid again.
His brown eyes softened with remorse and sadness. “I’m truly sorry Sel, but it’s for a good cause.”
A good what? Selene was officially confused and a little agitated at all the secrecy that was going on. Why wasn’t anyone telling her anything?
Just as Selene had turned around to speak to her father, she locked eyes with the man from the bar as he made his way to them.
He was more handsome up close, with piercings in his ears and hair messily hanging in his face. Selene had to admire his beauty. He looked like a God...a very tall God.
“This must be my bride-to-be. Gorgeous little thing.” The man smirked, stopping right behind Queen Mei.
Selene’s eyes went wide with horror.
“Your who?!”

WHEN EARTH TURNS TO ASHES
Masterlist
Chapter Ten: Overprotective Shadow
Lights faded in and out between Cinder's dreams of the past. Dreams of a mother who only wanted her to be happy, of a boy who loved her, a sister that idolized her, and a friend who tried to find a cure for Selene's problem. All of them were painful.
The mental agony of Cinder's dreams dulled the pain of reality for a short time. She wondered if she had finally died—if She had found a way to kill her yet— but Cinder couldn't remember anything. The last thing she could recall was driving to school, and then–
A sudden jolt shot through Cinder, her eyes snapping open as memories flooded her mind. The accident, the fire, the boy. What had happened to the boy? What if I killed him, too, Cinder worried. But no, it shouldn't work like that. Don't they have to love me?
"Even my wildest fantasies couldn't imagine you being this hot awake."
Cinder flinched, turning to see a boy sitting next to her. She hadn't noticed him before, and maybe that had been for the best. His mere presence agitated her.
Could it be him? Selene looked into the man's eyes; they were a clear crystal blue. No, her savior had born eyes of copper and flames.
"No pun intended." The annoying man winked, leaning back in the plastic hospital chair. He had sandy brown hair, a strong jaw, and an easy smile accompanied by the dimples of a church boy. He wore tennis shoes, blue jeans and a Star Wars t-shirt with Han Solo on the front and captioned "I know."
Cinder frowned. The boy smiled. "Who the hell–"
"Ah, no need for blatant questioning and accusations." The man stuck out his right hand, a crooked, wicked smile on his face. "Carswell Thorne, at your service." He cupped his left hand to the side of his mouth, as if he were telling her a secret. "But you can just call me Thorne."
Cinder blinked, and Thorne lowered his hand, smile disappearing. "Where's all your fire?" Thorne exclaimed, giving her a questioning glance. Cinder glared at him, and he seemed to realize his mistake. "I mean your personality, not the car stuff," Thorne clarified.
"Why are you here? I don't know you," Cinder croaked, her voice scraggy from lack of use. "Where's..." Cinder was about to ask for someone she knew— someone who loved her— but they were all dead.
"Am I that disappointing?" Thorne inquired, exasperated.
"I mean," Cinder clarified. "Where's the boy with the eyes?" she flushed, realizing how stupid she sounded, but she had only seen the eyes of her savior, nothing more.
Thorne stuck out his jaw, his face perplexed. "I'm a boy, I have eyes, I feel like I meet your expectations just fine."
Cinder huffed, wanting to strangle Thorne the more she talked to him. "There was a boy who pulled me out of my burning car. Where is he?" Cinder felt her stomach roll with dread. What if I killed him too?
"Oh, you mean Crown. He's not here." Thorne nodded his head like a complacent beach boy. "Speaking of which, I should probably call him. He's a little too excited to meet you. A bit like a puppy." Thorne rolled his eyes. "Well, I guess you've already met, but you were a little out of it. Understandably."
Cinder hit him. Not hard, but a simple backhand to the shoulder. She was done with this man, who she had never met before, and his stupidity.
"Aces, ow! What was that for, Selene?" Thorne put a hand to where Cinder had struck him, his face indignant. He was so caught up in his "injury" that he didn't notice Cinder freeze, her face pale as parchment. "Sel–"
Throwing herself forward, Cinder covered his mouth with her uninjured hand. Pain laced her entire left side, but she didn't stop. Thorne's muffled protests pursued, and he tried to get Cinder's hand away from his pie hole. Cinder refused to let go, too scared of what would happen if he said her name. That was until he licked Cinder's hand. She retreated immediately. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if he died.
"What the aces and spades?" Thorne exclaimed, scrunching his nose. "Look, S–"
"Don't call me that!" Cinder yelled, startling Thorne enough to make him drop all his flirtations. "Don't call me S... don't call me that name."
Thorne softened, taking a gentler side to things. His face lost its mischievous gleam, and he leaned forward in his seat. "Okay, what do you want me to call you then?"
There was a slight shock to seeing this calming side of Thorne. She wouldn't have believed he had a tame side if she hadn't seen it staring into her face. "Cinder. Call me Cinder."
Thorne's face contorted with horror, and then he seemed to be attempting to hold in laughter. Apparently his considerate side wasn't that strong. "You're kidding. You're..." Thorne looked at Cinder's face, taking in her expression before sobering. "You're not kidding."
Cinder glared. She wouldn't much mind if her gaze caused him to alight in flames. "Okay, Cinder," Thorne said. "If you don't mind, I'm gonna call your boyfriend. Like I said, he wants to see you." Cinder continued to glare, but didn't stop him.
Pulling out his phone, Thorne dialed a well acquainted number, fingers dancing. It only took one ring for a frantic voice to answer on the other end. Cinder could hear the faint voice of a boy, though not what he was saying.
Cinder kept her eyes on Thorne, making sure he didn't say her name. Apparently Thorne had the memory of a goldfish.
"Yeah, Sel–" Cinder interrupted Thorne with another backhand. "Ow! Would you stop that?" Thorne pulled the phone away from his face, glaring at Cinder.
"I told you not to call me that!" Cinder bellowed.
"I remember that, thanks." Thorne remarked sarcastically.
"Obviously you didn't, because you just called me that." Cinder huffed, feeling too drained to argue with such gusto.
"Well, Kai won't recognize you by any other name! That's what the nurse said your name was. I'm sorry that you're sour about it," Thorne bit back.
"Just don't call me that name," Cinder growled.
"Fine." Thorne turned back to his phone, bafflement coloring his face like paint. "The girl," Thorne glared at Cinder pointedly, "she's awake. And I've got to admit, I much preferred her asleep."
Cinder scowled, but refrained from hitting Thorne again. She was so tired, and the annoyance it took to simply engage in a conversation with Thorne was draining. She only half-listened to the rest of his conversation, before her mind spun into blackness.
***
Kai glanced into a window. It was dark enough that he could see his reflection, and the way his hair was a complete mess. He ran a hand through it to tame the tangles, wishing for once he had followed Thorne's advice on how maintain his hair. Kai hated putting gel in, though.
What are you doing? Kai asked himself. She just woke up from a coma, and why do you even care? She's just a girl. But she wasn't just a girl.
The hospital was busy, people flitting in and out of rooms as visitor hours drew towards a close. Kai's body was vibrating with nervous energy. He was finally going to be able to talk to her. He would talk to Selene.
Cinder.
Kai was confused by the name change, but Thorne had been adamant about it, complaining of bruises as he relayed the information to Kai. Of course some people hated what their parents named them. Kai himself despised being called Kaito, but Cinder wasn't even close to Selene. Kai had thought it was a joke at first, Thorne being inappropriate as always, but it wasn't.
No nurses stood in with Cinder as she lay nearly motionless on her bed. She was awake, staring down her arm at the patched skin that had once been burns, dark hair falling down around her face.
The treatment they had used on her was new, and worked on healing skin incredibly fast. Already Cinder's flesh was looking healthy, and only a little bit patchy and pink in some parts. Kai marveled at the progress that had happened in only ten days.
"Hey," Kai tapped his knuckles lightly on her door, startling Cinder from her awe. Looking at her sent shivers down Kai's spine. He remembered the first time he'd seen her, surrounded by fire, and how he'd thought she looked like an avenging angel. Even without the fire she still had a blaze about her that made her seem dark and powerful.
Selene always had a darkness about her— almost as if her shadow was a living being there to torture her forever. Kai shook Cress's words away, although not before noticing that Cinder did seem to have an overprotective shadow.
"You look really good." Kai smiled, before feeling his stomach fall. "I mean, you always looked good. You never looked bad. I was just meaning that you look better. Your skin is looking great." Kai cringed. Your skin is looking great? He sounded like a creep.
"That came out wrong." Kai said, biting his lip before sighing exasperatedly. "What I meant to say is that you've healed a lot since I last saw you."
Cinder stared at him, not saying a word. Her eyes were huge and brown and beautiful. Kai looked away from them, knowing that if he continued to gaze into her eyes he would never be able to look away.
"My name is Kai, by the way." Kai said, sitting down in the cold plastic seat. "Well, it's Kaito, Kaito Crown, but only my father really calls me that. You can just call me Kai." He didn't know why he was babbling so much. Kai hardly ever babbled, and it was only when he was nervous.
"I don't know if you remember me. You were basically unconscious, but you did look at me for a few seconds before blacking out." Cinder blinked, still not speaking. Kai wondered if Thorne had been making up the story about her beating him up. She was so mellow.
"I'm also sorry about Thorne. He's a pain, but he means well. I asked him to stay with you while I was... away." Kai didn't know why he wasn't telling her about his visit to Olympia. She had a right to know that he had gone snooping in her business, but something about her stare and the rejection of her name made Kai think she wouldn't be too happy about it.
"Why'd you do it?" Cinder whispered, her voice defiant.
Kai froze. Did she know that he had been investigating her past? Kai had told Thorne not to tell her, but he never was good at keeping secrets. "Do what?"
"Save me." Cinder's voice was as cold as her stare. Kai worried that the floor would open up and he would be sucked down to Hell.
It was such an odd question. In the moment of the crash, there had been no other answer than to save the girl on fire. It hadn't been a multiple choice test; his only option had been to save her.
"It was the right thing to do. The only thing, really. I couldn't just leave you there," Kai muttered, wringing his hands together. He didn't dare glance at Cinder— he could feel her burning gaze.
"Oh, so you're the noble type. You could have gotten yourself killed, or terribly injured. You shouldn't have done it," Cinder snapped.
"Well, I'm fine. You're alive, and I wouldn't change anything about it. I'm sorry if I disappointed you." Kai felt attacked. Maybe it was due to the fact that he was being attacked, but he was going to consider all of the possibilities.
Cinder sagged, her shoulders closing in toward her chest and her face cracking. "I'm sorry, that's not what I meant." She paused, then whispered, "Thank you for everything."
"You're welcome," Kai murmured, feeling undeserving of her thanks. It physically hurt Kai to look at her showing so much pain and humility. She was just a girl—a teenager—and she deserved to be saved. She deserved to be loved, and she had never gotten that.
"Listen, Cinder," Kai moved closer to her. "Can I ask you why you changed your name?"
Kai had crossed a line. He could tell by the way Cinder tensed up, regret and guilt stabbing him the moment the words had left his lips. Why did he have to be so rude and nosy? She was lying in a hospital bed feeling terrible, and Kai had brought up something to make her feel even worse.
"No. You can't." Cinder's eyes filled with rage. "Nor are you allowed to ask me why I ran away from home or why I have no emergency contact or anything else about my life."
"Okay, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up." Kai curled in on himself, moving away from Cinder. He felt defenseless against her words, and terrible guilt was eating at him for digging into her past without permission. He felt like a trespasser.
"You may think that I'll worship you just because you saved me, but I didn't ask you to." Cinder's words cut like knives. "I may owe you my life, but you won't get my past."
Kai nodded, choking on the words that he should have been saying. He needed to apologize, but the only thing that came out was: "I– I think I should go."
Cinder didn't even look at him as he walked out the door.

Percy AU NOTES
Keith as Nico di angelo and Lance as Percy Jackson.
But Lance was never claimed so he assumed he was Hermes kid he meshed well with them.
But once Keith got claimed so did lance and then shiro their dads had some sort of rivalry.
They didn’t account for the three to fall in love with each other. After and intense mission to save medusa. For lance. Personophene for Keith and Ganymede for Shiro.
Lance is also adopted by aphrodite goddess of the sea which passes on her powers so Lance can make people listen and share secrets with him like a siren.
_________________________________________________________________________
1 Lance is really nice and open with people until he realises that both Keith and Shiro are Roman descendants and not greek so they clash a little, Keith insults greeks and Lance is offended.
2 dinner and theres a party and lance is in the middle of it trying to get the daughter of Athena (Allura) To dance with him and that’s when it happens. Shiro is claimed by zues and everyone applauds then Keith by Hades and hears other say (it was so obvious he was an emo) But then lance is claimed by poseidan and everyone just stops and stares. What?
3 Lance is mad, he was a hermes kid wasn’t he? He looked like them, he had the same jaw line and nose and they all got along so well...this had to be a mistake and why now? He blames the new kids and this is when the party Lance becomes grouchy. And Allura hates his guts because athena and poseidan are rivals
4 They get a quest (to save the victims by the abuse if the main three gods. Ganymede, Medusa with Aphrodite, Persephone)
5. Ganeymede. The boy who was stolen, raped and made into Zues personell wine waiter then demoted to a fate taxi cab telepromter. Boy he hates Shiro because who can actually hurt Zues? he is what clues them in on rape victims which narrows it down immedietly and when Lance realises that Medusa is next for him and Keith looks horrified that they're all related to rapists, but Shiro felt relieved since at the end of the day does it stop at ganeymede or will it keep going- they are giving tokens once they have won.
6. Personophene and Keith, Keith apologises since Personophene hates Hades he thought and she blinks “I’m a god, I don’t eat. Period. I knew underworld food would keep me trapped I hadn’t eaten in months and all of a sudden I’m peckish? Pul-ease.” Keith blinked confused.
“And I don’t hate you, you didn’t ask to be born. And I know Hades returns to me in the end.” Personophene brushes his cheek “You have his eyes, maybe thats why I can’t bring myself to hate you.”
8. Lance remembers his mother, and he always heard the tale of Medusa and thought it was sad. So when they go to the statues, and realise it’s people Lance keeps talking about how sorry he was and how being how she looks was to protect herself, Lance wanted to sacrifice himself and asked to let Keith and Shiro go to save kids. Medusa turns him to stone then aphrodite turns him back and medusa decides to fight against rapists and attack them instead of taking it out of posedions kids.
___________________________________________________________________________
Journey towards the west,
And save the tragic three,
Punished by thy fathers,
For their own luxary,
Succeed and save more lifes from this venture,
Remember to be calm and endure their gruelling temper.
__________________________________________________________________________
Lance hides behind a pillar panting with a cut down his cheek. Oh god he was going to die!
“Hey!”
Lance turned to see Shiro lunge forward eyes closed “If you want a fight come and get me!”
Lance gaped what?
Lance scowled and saw Shiro with the shield looking through the mirror, and froze, Shiro always fought in gladiator fights, he was always the hero the sel sacrificing idiot. And Medusa she was scorned by posidion. This was his fight.
Keith- he had no idea where he was but, he stood up from behind the pillar luckily seeing the hose pipe in the corner. He used it and yelled.
"Medusa!" He heard her move and shivered waiting for the attack.
"Lance no!"
He aimed his water and it stopped her short, only for a second "I surrender!"
"...What?" She paused and Lance took a breath keeping his eyes shut. "Medusa, I always heard stories about you, some saw it differently, that athena changed you so no man would ever hurt you ever again not in that way- but it didn't matter because men take what they want regardless of what you look like."
He was shaking his water diminishing "I may be son of posedion but I am digusted by what he did and want nothing to do with him, but if you want to take revenge against him by hurting me," he outstretched his arms "That's fine- just let the other two go- they did nothing to hurt you, you can do whatever you want to me, but please, let them go."
"Why should I listen to your pleas? When posedian and Athena never listened to mine?"
"Because you'll be no better than them, just a monster preying on someone weak for your own justification."
"I am nothing like them."
"Then let my friends go...please."
Medusa tiled her head considering "Maybe I should do to you what posediian did to me," she leaned closer the snakes hissing across his cheek and Lance trembled "Send you back to your god with the pieces left, to show him what he did to me."
"He wouldn't care, he has thousands of children in the roman camp, percy is his favourite." She growled "Percy ripped my head off and stuck in a drunk mans fridge." Lance grimaced "And if you kill everyone of posedions children it won't make a difference."
"True, but it'll make me feel better."
"Then you won't be different than your tormentors."
Silence
"You know nothing, demigod."
oops she was pissed.
"Look at that." Lance pointed, knowing in the garden and where he was guessing he was pointing at the right thing.
"What?"
"That is a child correct?"
"So?"
"Did she deserve it? Was she any different than you? Her mother or father here? Did they honestly come here to attack you-"
"Well...no- but they-"
"Please, Medusa, they are people out there that hurt others the way posedion hurt you, ones who deserve justice. But not here. Not in this garden- it's your cage."
"No it's my haven and they still come here and hurt me."
"Then why stay? No matter what people will still try to use you- don't let them. I won't speak for Athena but, giving you the power to turn people to stone with just a look before they could even get ten feet in front of you, making your lower half a snake, making your hair venoumous, Those seem like tools to me, to stop people from touching you ever again."
Lance held his head up high his body trembling.
"As a son of posedion I'll take responsibility, but posedion himself wont since he won't see he's done nothing wrong, you can't hurt him so you hurt others weaker than you."
"no."
"you're a bully medusa, if anything that's worse, because you want people to hurt as much as you but you should know better and know how it feels to be violated."
"Stop it."
Lance opened his eyes and Medusa was looking away covering her face he gaped.
"Medusa?"
He took a step forward and she hissed "Don't look at me!"
He flinched ripping his arm back "I...I am terribly sorry, Medusa. You- no one deserves that. But staying here...it's not healthy. To repeat this over and over again until another demi-god kills you?"
She still had her face covered and Lance bit his lip "Medusa? C-can I touch you?"
She didn't move until a stiff nod.
He took a hesitent stop forward then hugged her, his hands only around her stomach and felt her tremble.
"It's okay to be mad, Medusa." She was trembling "It wasn't my fault."
"No it wasn't."
She started weeping falling to the ground and Lance moved with her.
"You- you need token to go to Hades?" She asked them finally wearing her sunglasses and hijab to cover her hair, Lance nodded "If you don't mind- if not we can go that's tottally okay-"
"No, it's the least I can do and...leaving here would probably be best for me"
A/N Another thing, why would Persphone and the lotus people have tokens to get to the underworld? Like the lotus and Nico and his sister so did persophone not care or know they were there? I mean the lotus would've told her since they're bffs who's visitng perce for tea partys and Medusa? I know people think Hades/Persphone are good but there;s different sides on one hand they are like beauty and the beast on the other, perse is another rape victim. I know I didn't write this correctly.
I just tried to write it the best I can but Lance has a reason for Medusa trusting him, even though he's the son of poseidon.
___________________________________________________________________________
“Cone on Keith wheres your sense of humour!”
“Lance, no.”
Lance grabbed his arm and dragged him backwards towards the carnival with Shiro following behind. Lance pulled Keith onto every ride forced him to eat cotton candy but what stopped Keith from snapping at the kid.
Was when Lance played a shooting range gane and gave Keith a hippo.
“Only the best for the prettiest boy.”
Lance grabbed his hand and pulled Keith fir more open stalls with merchendise.
Keithseyes were shinning theough the whole trip and Shiro was able to watch it all.
Carnival leads to persophene
After Aphrodite crisis to pair the three up.
Lance jumps at the teenage girl sitting at the pool beside him, “So why don’t you try them, I know you like them.” Lance flushed “What?”
“It’s obvious, except not obvious enough for those two. Love does make a person go blind.” Lance shook his head “What no? Come between Keith and Shiro?”
She looked amused as he babbled “I can’t do that to them, they’ve been through so much.” Lance looked over to the two his eyes softening “Shiro has been hurt so many times, gladiator fights? It was compeltely barbaric and his hair is white- and Keith he’s a demon with a sword and can raise skeletons from the dead! Both are so strong but only vunerable around each other...they’re perfect for each other. When I think of Soulmates I think of them two...I hope I can find someone like them one day.”
“Like them? Why not just court them, I doubt the two would mind.”
“Making them pick each other or me? That’s stepping down.” Lance said unknowing why this stranger tried to sabotage Keith and Shiro, was she a siren? If so it wasn’t working.
She shook her head “No, it is possible to be partners with three people. I should know, Hephaestus is very accepting of who I am and who I bed with.”
“Heph- wait.” Lance’s eyes widened in shock as he looks at the golden teen properly.
She was big, round belly and thick legs and arms with golden healthy hair curling at her shoulders her face plump lips tilted into a smile as sea green eyes seemed to swirl, unnatural. God like.
She looked exactly like the painting, Venus stepping out of her sea shell.
She stroked his face “We share waters, both are lovers of the sea.” She kissed his cheek “If Gods could adopt demi-children, all of Poseidon's folk would be mine. Artemis can do it, why can’t I?”
Lance gaped “I can’t turn my back on poseidon he’ll drown me.” She smiled “What’s wrong with co-parenting? Do him proud by defending his name and waters and do me proud,” She nudged his shoulder and glancing at Keith and Shiro “By falling in love.” Lance’s eyes widened “I give my blessing, and I wouldn’t do this for a lost cause I stoke the fires for love. Never extinguishing them.” Lance blinked and she was gone.
The beautiful teenager, Aphrodite.” Lance stepped out of the pool and almost stumbled at the looks Keith and Shiro had sending his way.
“What? What’d I do?”
“What were you doing?”
Lance shrugged “Having fun at the pool what of it?”
“Why sid that girl kiss your cheek?”
Lance blinked at Keiths angry response, any other time he would’ve felt hurt but he paused at what aprodite just said, he swallowed suddenly nervous but had to ask.
“Why? You jelous?”
Keith scowled “Lets just go,” Shiro gave him a look then followed “Come on we’re on a mission.”
Lance watched the two walk away his heart twisting. Keith didnt answer his question.
Ganeymede they use their powers keith summons dinasaurs lance dives underwater to save shiro (ganeymede drowns shiro as zues cant save him)
Ganeymede “Zues is gay!?”
Both Ganeymede Keith and shiro raised an eyebrow “Ih yeah, who wasn’t gay with the greek gods.” Lance felt as if his whole life was a lie.
“I feel like I should know this as a fellow gay,”
Keith oatted his head “Your a newbie gay it’ll take a while to figure out.”
Now the weird part “We uh, this is going to blow up in our faces isnt it.”
“What?”
“Posidion, Zues, Hades?” Dont they think they’ll be mad
