You know what’d be funny? Subaru trying to explain multiverse theory to Emilia as a lead in to him explaining some of his backstory, but failing miserably due to Emilia’s medieval perspective on how reality operates.

THE THING IS THAT BASICALLY HAPPENS IN ARC 6 THOUGH. he tries to explain that hes from a different world to everyone, but the concept of alternate universes is so foreign to them that they dont get it. because of, like you said, their medieval perspective on how reality operates. and after a lot of trial and error theyre just like "ohh so you mean youre from beyond the great waterfall! that makes sense!" and then thats not elaborated on. HELLO??? GO BACK??? WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN BEYOND THE GREAT WATERFALL??? WHATS BEYOND THERE??? SAY MORE WORDS RIGHT NOW.

anyway its one of my favorite bits in arc 6 because its so fucking funny he was literally trying to explain to people from the 1400s how the multiverse works. and he tries to backtrack and explain that hes never been to a "great waterfall" and say that hes from a completely different reality and theyre just like [micheal thegoodplace meme] yeah yeah the great waterfall we've all seen it

Maybe there's a reason for this that Tappei hasn't revealed to us yet!

Anyone else feel like the names of the witches are kinda jumbled up?

The one who is obsessed with seeking knowledge is Echidna, not Minerva. The one who is a healer in a war-torn world is Minerva, not Sekhmet. The one who is associated with waterfalls is Sekhmet, not Daphne. The one who created monsters is Daphne, not Typhon. Carmilla makes the most sense though (and Satella is an outlier)
