some neojapan headcanons bc I love this team so much

Narukami wears headphones bc he's got sensitive hearing and gets overwhelmed in noisy situations

Demete suffers from insomnia. unable to get a full 8 hours at night, he instead takes little naps throughout the day. he's considered taking sleeping pills, but ever since Zeus he's reluctant to take medication for any reason

I like to think that, aside from soccer, Kidokawa Seishuu also puts focus on music and encourages its students to play instruments. Tsutomu plays violin, his older brother Tomo plays piano and the eldest Masaru plays the clarinet (also Gouenji plays the cello)

Makiya is non-binary, and Segata and Arata are transgender. they use they/them, he/they and he/him pronouns respectively

Segata is taking testosterone. Arata is on puberty blockers

Makiya gets homesick since Senbayama is supposedly pretty far away. they're used to getting up before sunrise to feed the chickens back at home. in neojapan, they often wake up early to watch the sun rise by themselves and cry for a bit

neojapan's managers are named Nami and Touya, and I don't have designs for them yet but I might draw them

Some of the Aliea kids were adopted by different families after the end of season 2. Izuno was adopted by two mothers, whose other son is around his age. Ishidaira was adopted by a mother and father with no kids. Segata was adopted by a mother and father, and has an older sister now. Saginuma and Atsuishi decided to stay at the orphanage under Hitomiko's care.

Genda has glasses but often forgets to wear them. he thinks he looks lame with them on but everyone thinks he looks very handsome

Jimon has three sisters, so he's not as flustered about "girl stuff" as the rest of the team. he also doesn't poke fun at Arata or Hera for wearing makeup

Izuno, Tsutomu and Kirigakure are pretty good at cooking, and enjoy helping their managers cook if they've got enough energy left after training

Hera's guilty pleasure is watching ballet dancing. he's completely enamoured with it but will die before he admits it to anyone. once of his most treasured possessions is a DVD recording of Swan Lake

Ishidaira, Gouin, Yuukoku and Atsuishi suffer from chronic pain

Yuukoku's wiki page says that he has psychic powers and can talk to ghosts, so I like to think that he also gets chronic migraines. this gets in the way of his training sometimes, but the coach had blackout curtains installed in his room so he can lay down in the dark til his migraine passes

Atsuishi also has a weak immune system and spent a lot of time in hospital as a kid. he's doing a lot better since then but still prone to getting sick

Gouin has a lot of scars on his chest and back from a house fire that happened when he was younger. he's one of the players who always gets dressed in a shower stall, so no one knows about them

Ishidaira has fibromyalgia. he started playing soccer and practicing martial arts since exercising is a great way to decrease his pain, and found that he's pretty good at them

Sengoku Igajima is located in a forest at the foot of a mountain, the students spend a lot of time outdoors and learn to forage and grow their own food, how to survive in the wild and a fair bit of medical knowledge. Kirigakure is CPR certified, and knows how to bandage and suture a wound

Genda's scar from Shin Teikoku is real and he's been covering it up with makeup. Jimon noticed that it's not a perfect match to his skin tone, so he dragged him to a makeup store along with his oldest sister so she could help him find the right shade of concealer

Narukami can sing really well, but he's too embarrassed to do it in front of anyone. he likes to stay behind in the changing rooms til everyone else is gone so he can sing in the shower

Izuno runs VERY hot. some of the players call dibs on sitting next to him on the couch bc he's like a human space heater

Saginuma is a sleepwalker and routinely scares the shit out of anyone up at night, bc he's tall and pale and lets his hair down when he goes to bed, making him look not dissimilar to the girl from the ring

Conditions of being an Ace

 Since October is the 10th month, we'll celebrate the players with the short number 10. In other words, we'll introduce the ace player of every team. But even though they're all aces, their personalities are all different, right? 

 The boy Gouenji met in Okinawa Shikata has this to say 'Someone who not only makes powerful shoots, but also who the team can depend on during the most crucial times is vital to the team. That's an Ace Striker'. At the same time, Raimon Junior were certainly missing an important part of their team. Though at first he hid himself from them, when he finally came back Endou and the rest of the team's faces shone with happiness. The Captain is an indispensable player who brings the team together, but during matches the Ace is the main character. When the moment arises as necessary, the Ace has the power to relieve the whole team with their dependability. 

Especially in Inazuma Eleven there are many kinds of Aces. In Ares no Tenbin we've got the very charismatic Aphrodi, the mischievous Atsuya, the Trickster Fudou and Gouenji with his powerful shoots. They'll all lead their teams forward in different ways during the Football Frontier!

In match Hakuren versus 石狩中 the person who won against 石狩中 who are said to have the strength of sons of lions, was Atsuya all by himself and completely broke through them 10 times. Does he have the stamina of a monster? Due to his bold and shameless personality, he has zero interest in cooperating with any of his teammates apart from his brother. Atsuya, don't call your senpais things like 'boneheaded players'!

 Fire Tornado was the first fiery hissatsuwazza to be used and its burning fire lights up the hearts of his teammates. He'll probably wear the number 10 in his new team but regardless it's clear Gouenji will be the ace striker wherever he goes. By the way, since he's normally cool and doesn't speak much, it's funny when he plays pranks with a straight face. He made Fudou lose his cool in the beauty salon.

 In Ares he appears suddenly as a mysterious new boy. Not as Kageyama's right hand man, but rather an equal with Sakuma and the others - forced to obey Kageyama's orders. Will he take over Kidou's role as the playmaker who translated the coach's baffling words? 

 Other Teams' Aces are...? Inaguni Raimon Junior is Inamori Asuto and is Nosaka who wear the number 10. As for the other new teams, who wears the number 10 shirt is still unknown. Of course, not all members who wear the number 10 are aces, but since Asuto and Nosaka are the heart of their teams there's no mistake about it - they are aces. Another important character is Haizaki, but we wonder what kind of position he plays for his team?

Caption: 10/10 is Ace Striker Day so I drew my leading three players! I changed Hakuryuu and Aphrodi's hairstyles. Outer Code episode 6 was so funny! I kinda want to talk the risk. Hakuryuu! I'm waiting for you to appear in Ares!

 #1 - I want Einamu to be my little brother! The reason is he's cute and small! And in addition to that he's a genius. I could brag that my little brother is so good at soccer. He looks like he'd get on with my pet rabbit well! 

 #2 - I chose Kirino Ranmaru-kun from Inazuma GO. Why? He's really cool and when you're worried about something I feel like he's the kind of person who will talk to you about it and show kindness. If he was my sibling, I'd have a bit of a brother complex~ I'd have to take pictures of him every day like Akane-chan! That would be a handful~

So in the GO games the characters have their years by their names and other info and I find that pretty interesting?? I don’t think the games prior to the GO ones had the years on the character mini profile. I tend to forget who is in what year sometimes and the ina11 wiki doesn’t have their years listed (I think). Anyway, if you’re curious about who is in what year/grade here’s a (long) list of inazuma characters. It mostly contains GO characters but since you can recruit some characters from the original series I added them on here to.

Not every character has a year, some are labeled ??? or ADULT (Akizora Challengers/Golden Oldies team). Animage October 2017 - Tracksuits of Youth! 

 When you ask most Inazuma fans what memorable team-related items come to mind, they'll probably immediately think of school and team uniforms. However, you can't forget about the tracksuits they wear when they're on the move. These clothes are seen just as often as the team uniform, and appear in many important scenes too. Since there's only one sketch made of rough designs of tracksuits, their designs have to be considered carefully. Staff try to create a 'Stylish' and 'Unique' tracksuit for each team.

 In the new series Ares, the tracksuits of Inaguni Raimon and Teikoku Gakuen have already been shown, and in the latest Walker episode, 61.6% of fans voted on option 4 for the tracksuit design of Kidokawa Seishuu, for a breath of fresh air. A mostly white tracksuit is unusual in Inazuma history, but perhaps you could say it shows the coolness of a high level school like Kidokawa? 

 In that case, we wonder if Zeus will wear a colorful tracksuit in contrast with their mostly white uniform? Rather than that, an elegant tracksuit would suit Zeus better, right? What kind of designs will all the teams have? We're looking forward to finding out!

In the new series he separates from Raimon and is despatched to Kidokawa Seishuu. In the previous Walker episode, he talks about how he's going to have a friendly match with a world champion team, which seems like it's going to be shown in the new episode 27. 

 ○○ This is Kidokawa Seishuu's uniform. The amount of red and white is the opposite of the tracksuit. ○○ Special guest on the last Walker episode, Gouenji's voice actor talked about how the new design is the most tracksuit-like, and the sponsor's Z logo is incorporated in an interesting way. 

 Actually, the three of them are Salon Mates! 

○○ In the last Walker episode, Pointy Hair Festival, the latest Outer Code episode was also aired. Gouenji, Fudou and Kabeyama all visit the same stylist and make a big fuss over their ridiculous new hairstyles. Since they all go to the same salon, does that mean Fudou also lives in Inazuma Town? When Gouenji calls him 'Akkii~' to his face, his reaction is hilarious.

Inazuma Walker 4 Summary Part 2 - About Ares no Tenbin PV Part One about the White Day Special can be found on my tumblr blog, under the tag Inazuma Walker (Note: All prefixes like -san, -chan etc… are how Hino and Mo address each character)

The theme for this Walker episode is ‘If Inazuma Eleven was 3D…?”

In other words, if Inazuma characters were real, who would they resemble, what form would they take etc… (submitted by fans)

Kiyama Tatsuya (Hiroto) Mo says he’s joined Eisei Gakuen and his parents are the Sun Garden/Ohisama en. Hino says his name has changed, but Mo says it’s because this is a peaceful world.

Who would he look like?

Ryounosuke Kamiki, a Japanese actor and voice actor “I think they’re quite similar mood-wise, but more than anything it seems like he would recreate Kiyama’s ‘I’m in love with those eyes of your’s, Endou.’ speech faithfully!”

Hino comments the actor was in Kimi no Na Wa (played Taki). Mo says rather than being similar mood-wise, it’s because they’re both bishounen.

Sangoku-san Hino calls him ‘The Boy Who Can’t Stop Shoots’, and mention his parent-like personality.

Who would he look like? Yo Oizumi, an actor “Because their hair is similar.” Hino says he likes both Oizumi and Sangoku, and both of their personalities are very warm so they’re a perfect match. Mo mentions that Morimura from Galaxy has a similar hairstyle to Keiko Inoue, because of their fluffy hair.

Fubuki Shirou They say he’s a good-looking captain

Who would he look like? Yuzuru Hanyu, a figure skater “Because I think when Fubuki does his Ice Ground move, he spins and poses etc very well.” They say something about him being an ice-skater

Kageno Jin-san The boy who joins Raimon soccer club to have more of a presence Hino’s interested to see who he looks like

Who would he look like? Naoki Matayoshi, a comedian “He has less presence than anyone! And they both have long hair and a flat voice.” Hino agrees they’re similar.

Teres-san Argentina captain Hironari Yamazaki, a comedian “Because of their cleft chin.” They talk about the match with Teres, saying how Endou etc. weren’t there and Mo says it was the first time she felt they might lose in FFI.

Kabeyama-kun Hino wonders if there’s someone who looks like him, and says he’ll want to go to the bathroom. Mo mentions he’s very tall for a middleschool kid and might look scary but he’s a very grateful person. Hino says he wins the prize for perfect attendance (hasn’t missed a match).

Who would he look like? Yuki Himura (Bananaman), comic performer “They’re identical! That’s what I thought the moment I saw him!” Hino says they certainly look alike with that haircut.

Majin the Hand Mo says no matter how many times she looks at him, she sees Gouenji’s haircut, despite him being Endou’s move

Who would he look like? Riki Takeuchi, an actor “They look similar.” Hino says they generally look similar. Mo agrees it’s the muscles.

Shishido-kun Tsuyoshi Muro, comedian “Their faces are fiercely similar, if you just stuck a nose on it would be perfect!” However, it’s also said that Megane is like this guy, as they both come up with names.

Handa Mo says Handa is very popular, Hino doesn’t understand as he’s no personality. Mo says for people who like Handa, they feel he’s got plenty of personality - everyone’s eyes are different.

Who would he look like?

A Johnny’s Idol “As he has a Johnny’s-vibe, he could look like any of them. In the Inazuma world, his appearance is ordinary.”

They made this picture. They’re all Handa. When she first saw it, Mo thought Ichinose-kun and Fideo-kun had snuck in there, but it’s all Handa. Mo says if this was a real group, she’d go see them. She says it’s cute, which Hino questions.

Endou Mamoru-kun Shuzo Matsuoka, a tennis player “They’re both hot-blooded, and I want him to say: sakka, yarou ze!” Endou: Practice is onigiri! Shuzo: Today you’re my Mt. Fuji!

Then they had a guess the quote game, where fans on NicoNico (not Youtube) guessed if it was Endou-kun or Matsuoka-san who said a particular thing. The first two were Matsuoka-san and the fan’s correctly guessed the third one was Endou. Mo apologises Matsuoka-san won’t be a guest this time, but jokes that next time if possible they’d like him too.

The theme for next time is stereotypes about Inazuma Eleven Hino says there are a lot of characters who love their little sisters, but Mo says there’s really only about two… Mo talks about the strength of the goal net, as expected of super dimensional soccer You can go to the homepage for more info

New Game Hino says he’s going to talk a bit about the console it’s released on. He also says the making of the game is going well. He says it will probably come to a console better quality than the 3DS.

Snack World Preview of Level Five’s Snack World

Inazuma Everyday Plus An app for iphone and android, now with added Kidou. You play as a character living with Endou, Gouenji or Kidou and live out the story from the first few episodes. Now that Kidou’s included, you can see Teikoku characters too, and there’s more power ups. You can communicate with the three characters through talking, touching and presents.

Episode 25 Episode Rewatch Special Guest: Instead of a voice actor, this time it’s the animation director from Outer Code, Yumi Kamakura-san. Hino apologises to her for sending the script late last time. They congratulate her on Sakuma from the last episode, said he looked wonderful, and she agreed the staff worked very hard. Apparently a lot of the animation staff like Inazuma and they wanted to work on Outer Code. Hino says they’re looking forward to the next episode and they rewatch episode 25, commenting a lot that it’s very nostalgic.

After that they rewatch trailers from previous games, Asuto’s voice actor has joined them.

Points of Interest

Kidou and Haizaku - First time Kidou’s appeared in a PV, and he’s been sent to Seishou as a Strengthening Player (Translator’s notes: is there a certain way to translate this phrase?).

Haizaka and the girl - Mo’s interested but Hino can’t say anything. Someone in the comments wonders if Haizaka has a Sister Complex.

Aphrodi-san - Mo says everyone was waiting for this, that he’s cool. The uniform was decided in Inazuma Walker. The player on the right is a new character. Hino asks fans to carefully examine him afterwards, as he’s a character that has never appeared before. Hino focuses on him for a bit, so he might have a story.

Bear Killer Atsuya, and Shirou - They talk about how Atsuya is the Bear Killer now, unlike the previous series where it was Shirou.

Shiratoya Nae-chan - I think Mo was surprised she actually became a player, and says she’s very cute.

Haizaka vs Nosaka - Mo says this scene is a big spoiler, those two playing against each other, but they’re very cool. Hino says he doesn’t know if it counts as a spoiler.

Nosaka - “I’ll change the world with these hands.” It’s the first time Ares, the secret keyword, has been mentioned.

Nosaka ‘crying’ - This scene was released on Hino-san’s Twitter, and Mo is very interested. She wonders if it’s just water on his face or is he crying.

Nosaka, Anna and the goalkeeper - Mo wonders about the relationship triangle, and since Anna is a Raimon student why does she seem so close to Nosaka? She wonders if it’s the Kidou-pattern where they might be siblings…? They make jokes about Hino liking Sister Complexes.

Finally, they mention the woman who looked like a teacher at the end.

The keyword for the next episode is: Kami! (God)

Speculation: It’s the kami in Shindou’s name, but I think it has more to do with Gods. I wonder if it has any connection to Aphrodi, as in Kami no Aqua/ fact that Aphrodi compared himself to a God a lot…? Or will they explain Ares (which I guess is a Greek God)...?
