𝐊𝐢𝐲𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐰𝐤𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥
This is completely self-indulgent and something I pulled out of my ass in the shower. Pairing: Kiyoshi Teppei x Fem Reader, hints of HyuRiko Warnings: A few curses maybe Genre: Fluff
You and Kiyoshi are in separate classes. How does he know you? You accidentally ran into him LITERALLY during a school festival in your first year at Seirin High.
He was on his way to meet with the rest of the team. Kiyoshi walked down the halls and when he turned the corner, a figure bumped into him. While he was fine, unscathed even, the other person fell unto their ass on the floor.
His face turned into that of concern when he saw you, on the floor, "Oh no, my bad... Are you okay?" He asked, reaching his hand out to you.
You, my dear, are as awkward as a cabbage. But that's okay because it's not like it's awkward. You were in a hurry as you were needed at your club's booth and you were running late. Leading you to this situation. "I...I'm so sorry I should have been more mindful," You said, accepting his hand as he helped pull you to your feet. "It's okay. No biggie! As long as you aren't hurt." He said, smiling at you.
After that, you pretty much never interacted with each other. But oh boy, was Kiyoshi enthralled by you. He unknowingly started to be drawn to your figure whenever he would catch a glimpse of you. At the cafeteria, down the halls, at the school gates, etc.
Before he knew it, he started to develop a crush on you. He realized this after he started to unknowingly search for you whenever he was among a large crowd. He found you quite adorable actually. He tried multiple times to approach you but things kept getting in the way. Someone or something would always call him somewhere before he could even get halfway towards you.
But he sort of knew that you probably aren't interested in him. But boy, oh boy, how wrong he was. You always remembered him and still felt bad about bumping into him. You thought about making it up to him but didn't know how to approach him. Your mind was so occupied by thoughts of him that you didn't realize you developed a crush on him. One school year passed, and none of you still had the guts to approach each other and talk. Kiyoshi decided to take matters into his own hands, 3 months after they won the Winter Cup on Valentine's Day. He navigated through crowds of students, some confessing in their love to someone on the sides of the hallway and some just want to get home. He finally spotted your figure by the locker, putting your books inside. You, on the other hand, are very tired. You wanted to go home, take a nap and after dinner, do your homework and sleep again. You closed your locker shut before flinching when you see Kiyoshi's much larger figure standing in front of you while holding out a single but beautiful rose. You were kinda surprised that you didn't notice his shadow.
"Hi," Kiyoshi greeted you, all with that sweet smile on his face. You were puzzled. Was he talking to you? Your face morphed into that of confusion as you stared up at him. There's no way right? The rose must probably be for someone behind you. You're probably blocking the way. You turned to look behind you, beside you, then back to him. "Are you...Are you talking to me?" You asked, uncertain. Kiyoshi extended the rose in your direction to prove his point, "Yes. This is for you,"
Oh...It is for you. You hesitantly took the rose from him, mumbling a small and quiet thank you and felt all the heat rush up to your face. "And I wanted to ask you something too," He continued. Your attention flicked back to him as you saw tinges of pink on his face as he reached to rub his nape. "I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me.."
Your eyes lit up as you nodded, "Yes. I'd love that." A smile was evident on your face.
He walked you home that day as he practically melted all the awkwardness you felt and the conversation you two had was so free-flowing, you walked slowly so that it would last longer. Bonus: The captain raised his fist in victory, "Finally that idiot asked her out!" "You should probably follow in his footsteps and ask coach out too." "SHUT UP IZUKI"

Firefighter!Kagami Taiga x F!reader
Note:( Fluff fic, Domestic Fic, Firefighter kagami au, Based on a tiktok video I saw where a firefighter was holding his newborn child in his bare chest and it reminds me of kagami in some ways)
The sky outside had darkened, soft hues of twilight slipping into the room through the curtains. You rocked gently in the glider, the faint hum of your daughter’s breath filling the quiet as she rested in your arms, her tiny fingers curled against your chest. The day had been long, punctuated by diaper changes, feedings, and snatches of sleep in between, and yet there was a peacefulness in this moment as you held her close, feeling the weight of this new life in your arms.
And then, you heard the unmistakable sound of the front door clicking open. A warmth bloomed in your chest, knowing who it was even before you saw him. Taiga was finally home.
You looked up as he entered, his tall frame filling the doorway, and your heart skipped a beat. His face was tired, a day’s worth of exhaustion etched across his features, but his eyes softened immediately as he caught sight of you and your daughter together. Without a word, he moved toward you, an almost reverent gentleness in the way he crossed the room, leaving his work boots by the door.
Taiga always looked handsome, but there was something about him after a long shift that made him feel like a real-life hero. Maybe it was the way his shoulders sagged just slightly from the weight of his day, or the lingering scent of smoke and fresh air that clung to his clothes. He was still in his firefighter uniform, soot and ash dusting his jacket, his hands rough from a day’s work. But as he reached out to gently touch your shoulder, he looked at you with such tenderness that it made your heart swell.
“Hey,” he whispered, his voice deep and soft, as if he didn’t want to disturb the calm.
“Hey yourself,” you murmured back, smiling up at him. “Long day?”
He nodded, his eyes glancing to your daughter, his expression melting into something vulnerable and sweet. “You have no idea.”
Without another word, he pulled off his heavy, flame-resistant jacket, tossing it onto a chair. The undershirt he wore beneath clung to his broad chest, and you watched as he took hold of the fabric and tugged it over his head, revealing the lean muscles of his torso, damp with sweat. You swallowed, unable to stop your eyes from wandering across his shoulders, his arms, the faint line that trailed down his abs and disappeared into his pants.
It never failed to amaze you how strong he looked, his body a testament to the work he put in every day, protecting others and risking his life to keep people safe. And as he stood there in just his firefighter pants, his boots left by the door, he looked every bit the hero that he was.
“Do you want to hold her?” you asked softly, trying to keep your voice steady as you took in the sight of him.
His face broke into a gentle smile, his eyes softening as he reached out for your daughter. He moved with such care, his large hands cradling her head as he took her from your arms. And when she settled against his bare chest, he held her as if she were the most precious thing in the world, his every movement tender and deliberate.
Taiga gazed down at your daughter, his expression filled with wonder as he ran a finger along her tiny hand. You couldn’t look away, mesmerized by the sight of this strong, fearless man so completely captivated by someone so small. Your heart swelled with love, and you bit your lip to keep from letting out the soft, giddy sigh that was building up inside you.
Watching him, the man you loved, holding the life you’d created together—it was almost too much. He looked up at you with that same look of awe, his gaze filled with a deep, unspoken love that made you want to wrap your arms around him and never let go.
“She’s so beautiful,” he murmured, his voice filled with pride. His daughter stirred, letting out a soft sound, and he pulled her closer to his chest, his fingers brushing gently over her head.
You couldn’t help but smile, your eyes tracing the lines of his face, the way his brows furrowed slightly as he looked down at her. He was completely captivated, his every movement infused with a tenderness that seemed almost at odds with his rugged, powerful exterior. And in that moment, you were reminded of why you’d fallen for him in the first place—his heart, his strength, his devotion to the people he loved.
“She gets that from you,” you whispered, reaching out to brush a stray piece of hair from his forehead.
He chuckled, a low sound that rumbled in his chest, and your daughter stirred in his arms, letting out a tiny sigh. Taiga leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead, his eyes filled with a love so deep it made your chest ache.
When he looked up at you, his gaze softened, his expression warm and adoring. “I missed you both so much today,” he murmured, his voice rough with emotion.
“We missed you too,” you replied, your voice barely above a whisper.
He reached out, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you close, so that you were both leaning over your daughter together. In that quiet moment, as you felt the warmth of his skin against yours, his arm solid and reassuring around you, you knew that this was everything you’d ever wanted.
You leaned into him, resting your head on his shoulder, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath your cheek. There was a calm in his presence, a strength that reassured you, that reminded you of everything he was—the protector, the provider, the man who had given you his heart and, in turn, filled yours.
“Thank you,” you whispered, reaching up to run your fingers along his jawline. “For everything.”
He smiled, his eyes filled with love and gratitude, and you knew, without a doubt, that he would always be there for you, just as he always had. Taiga wasn’t just a firefighter; he was your home, your heart, your everything. And as you sat there together, the three of you cocooned in that quiet moment, you knew that there was nowhere else you would rather be.

may i request kuroko tetsuya with a s/o who’s quiet and observant like him, like some headcanons of a slow burn kind of relationship between the two during their first year at seirin high?
It’s definitely a slow going, slow burn relationship.
Besides the fact that both of the presences are low, so they constantly keep missing each other, teenage boys (and especially Kuroko) are the most oblivious creatures on the planet.
I say this with the firm knowledge of helping assist middle to high school sports teams at our club.
They would likely notice Kuroko first and try to make a move.
But they are so shy and quiet that it’s too subtle for Kuroko to get. Or he thinks that they are interested in someone else.
Everyone is always more interested in his more flashy teammates. Even from his middle school days. He’s used to it.
He is honestly shocked when they tell him that they are interested in him, and take the compliment in stride.
Kuroko doesn’t know what else to go other than that.
Besides Momo, who throws her affection at him like grenade volleys, he’s never been in this situation before.
Their one common interest: books.
It’s the gateway to their relationship and coming out of their shells. Talking about books. Recommendations from one another. Joint reading adventures.
S/O even looks up books on sports to try and help out.
They come to practice, but no one really notice them much. Partly their fault as they sit very far away to not disturb said practice.
Kagami is the first person to notice them.
Having trained himself to know where Kuroko is, he can spot them pretty easily.
He’s the one that gets them included more and tries to have them as another unofficial member of the team.
They come to the games and try to cheer them on as much as possible although a lot of it is drowned out by the crowd.
Kuroko always sees them trying though, and their presence is like an anchor for him at games. A beacon in the crowd.
Their first kiss is after they win a big game.

A Girl on A Boy's BasketBall Team
Chapter 1: A Meeting With Red & Blue
E/n- Enemy Name
"There's nothing wrong with wanting to be the best right?"
"If anything it's in our genetic coding as humans."
"Strive for the best and you'll become the best."
Bright florescent gym lights that leave you partially blind, obnoxious tennis shoes squealing and squeaking as they slide and glide across the freshly waxed floor, the smell of sweat and B.O from teenage girls that desperately try to forget it exists by drowning it with overly flowery perfume and wayyy to minty gum, the crash of the rim as another basket is made scoring 2 more points, it's all so tantalizing.
So why? Why am I currently being yelled at by my coach, as my "teammates" whisper and jeer at me in the corner of the gym? Those sluts, with their toothpaste ad smiles and their gold flaked nails I'll show them who to laugh at when I dunk on their asses. They aren't even fucking good at the game, they only play for attention, to scared to break a nail or even to much of a sweat.
"This is the 3rd backboard your daughter has broken in a month." Your coach grumbles bitterly, fidgeting her foot up and down on the maple floor planks "The school really can't afford to keep replacing these monthly.
"Can't we jus' send a check to the school to replace the backboards." Your mother suggests boredly, as she pulls out a spare checkbook from her pocket scribbling numbers and scrolling through her phone simultaneously.
"Well it's not only that... your daughter she's an awful team player, she refuses to pass the ball to anyone else, all her teammates feel neglected on the court" Your coach backs away, her eyes longing yet, hesitantly rejecting the check your mother is waving towards her in her hand."But their winning right." Your father queries, cutting your coach's complaints short. "My princess's team is bringin' home the gold every time." Your dad rubs the top of your head playfully smushing your hair in the process as you whine and stomp for him to quit it. He obliges to your request of course, but not smacking you lightly on the back of your neck causing you to jump away from him.
"How many points did you score in practice today hunnie." Your mom scribbles more numbers on the checkbook paper after examining it again. "38 points mum." You fiddle with the hem of your jersey shirt nervously already knowing what to expect.
Your mother gives you "the glance" and clicks her teeth, not in disappointment you've come to understand, but more so in encouragement. "You can do better than that hunnie."
"Your mother is right princess, we need at least 50 points per session practice or not." Your father hands you 38 dollars from his brown leather wallet tucked away in his back pocket, to which you gladly accept. "Yeah I know, but it ain't my fault Coach, wouldn' let me play at all." You point your finger and blame accusingly at your Coach, who's face has begun to morph into annoyance from being ignored and spoken over.
"No excuses hunnie." Your mother places phone down and digs her free hand into her purse to hand you 38 dollars as well. "Fine..." You place the two sets of money in your wallet and groan slipping it into your sports bra. "Moving on ladies."
Your father breaks the tension in the area with his signature grin. "My princess will see you tomorrow right at practice right Coach." Your father gives the woman an even toothier grin along with a smooth chuckle, causing your "teammates" to swoon in unison, as he takes the check from his wife. "We'll jus' drop this off at the front desk and take our leave."
"Coach did you tell 'em yet."
"The team is ready to start practice again." A snobbish voice is heard from behind your Coach. She averts her eyes nervously and rubs her hands together. "I'm letting them know right now E/n."
"Oh, hi Mr. and Mrs. L/N." A girl with long silver hair tied in a high ponytail with a black ribbon strides over to your Coach standing beside her confidently. Her hands were placed sassily on her waist, hiding a mischievous smirk. She shoots daggers through her eyes at you for a moment as you both make eye contact, and quickly turns to smile sweetly at your Coach and parents. "Well hurry, we're all ready to finish the quarter."
"Let us know what?" Your mother questions, as you hand your schoolbag over to your father, who willingly takes it. Your coach clears her throat awkwardly, the whole room becoming deathly quiet. Slowly, you rummage through your mother's handbag for a stick of gum, placing the wrapper back into her bag.
She gives you another "glance" this time more fed up, and snaps her fingers rapidly. "What were you lettin' us know Coach." Your mother slides a pair of encrusted shades onto her face.
"We have places to be, my daughter needs a new pair of sneakers for next week's game and has a photoshoot in a few hours."
"Your daughter's off the team." Your coach says bluntly, as you hear E/n and the entire team snicker. "What the hell are you sayin' Coach." The dribbling of a basketball in your hand starts, as you raise an eyebrow at your coach waiting on a response. "All of your teammates think your a selfish player Y/N, and I'd rather lose one player rather than the whole team."
"So until you can prove that your ready to treat this team and I with some respect and sportsmanship you're off the team."
"Tch, really Coach is that how it is." "You're gonna' get rid of your most valuable player." The ball your dribbling rolls away from you, and E/n snatches it, spinning it around on her pointer finger, a fake sense of disappointment that you can detect from a mile away radiating from her voice.
"Maybe you shouldn't have been so selfish angel~." You ball your fists in pure anger, hissing your teeth loudly. "Don't call me that you skank." Your father rests a hand on your shoulder "Calm down princess."
"But father I-" Your sentence is cut short. "Let it be, if your off the team, it's final." Your mothers says bluntly, as a lump forms in your throat and you excuse yourself outside. You swing the gym doors open, ignoring the cruel headache inducing laughs of your teammates.
And in a fit of rage you punch a wall over and over, the jagged surface bruising your knuckles. "It's not fair." "Not fair." "Not fair." Not fair." You mumble repeatedly, turning around and leaning against the wall you had just finished assaulting.
You slump down onto the floor and bury your head in your arms. "Why do it matter, if I'm a team player or not." "They shoulda been grateful I was on they shitty ass team anyway." "That stupid skank E/n, has nothing better to do obviously." You hear the crunching of gravel as footsteps approach you and quickly you assume them to be your parents, but blinded by anger, you don't look up from your self-pity.
Two presences tower over you as you sit huddled in a ball, rudely snap at the figures. "What the hell do y'all want, I don't need no lecture or nothin'" "It's obvious yall didn't mind lettin' me get kicked of the team so go away."
"You've got the wrong people." A voice scoffs. Even more annoyed, you look up to see a tall and muscular red-headed man? His aura is quite intimidating as he looks down at you. "I'm not supposed to talk to older men." You bury your head in your arms once again.
"What the hell!" "I'm a teenage boy, do you not see the uniform." He grabs your hand and places it on his school uniform. "Whateva.. and tell your friend to stop standin' behind me like a weirdo." You pull your hand away and pick yourself up off the ground and turn around to see a pale boy with light blue hair.
"You noticed I was behind you." The blue-haired boy speaks quietly, his straight face matching his tone of voice. "Of course I did, you ain't Casper the ghost or sum shit." You look at him confused "I think I'm jus' gonna go, yo crazy asses."
"Before you do, why were you crying and punching that wall." The blue haired boy asks you. Your cheeks heat up in embarrassment, realizing that they saw your tantrum a few minutes ago. "Can we go know, I'm starving." The red haired "boy" grumbles obviously bored, as the blue haired questions you.
"In a second." The soft voice protests, waiting for your response. "I don't tell strangers my personal life." You raise an eyebrow suspiciously. "Well my name is Tetsuya Kuroko and that over there is Taiga Kagami, we're both middle schoolers from Seirin High."
"Dude don't tell random chicks my name." The red boys yells at him, as you look at him a bit skeptically, squinting your eyes. "You sure his ass is in highschool, blink twice if you need help." Kuroko cracks a soft grin.
"No, no he's a teenager." Kuroko reassures softly, causing you to sigh softly as you sit back in the ground where you were previously. "That's good, thought the old man was gonna kidnap me or something." Kagami yells at you again, as he rants about how he's not an old man.
All you do is grin at him, until he gets bored and rolls his eyes ready to walk away. "Whatever, Kuroko let's go I'm starving." Kuroko nods and hold his hand out towards you. "You wanna join you look like you could use it."
A little stunned by his kindness your cheeks flush as you shrug "Why not, what's the harm in it." As you grab his soft hands and follow the red and blue haired duo along, Kagami insists that Kuroko shouldn't have brought you along and that's he not an old man.
You can't help it, their chaotic energy is contagious so much so that you grin the whole walk.
So if anyone's to blame it should be these two.
Nobody should have let you meet red and blue.

: ̗̀➛ rough.
✎ pairing: murasakibara atsushi x reader
✎ word count: 1,141
✎ nsfw, smut, explicit content
Murasakibara doesn’t get intense in bed often. He doesnt have to. He is already so massive that minimal effort is enough to completely wear you out. The problems start when he does get intense in bed.
After the Seirin game, there was no stopping him. No talking him down or trying to calm him. He was frustrated and irritated and he needed to vent. And there you were, a convenient target.
The headboard creaked and groaned in protest as it banged against the wall. The bed was probably on its last legs. A little more and it would break down. The noise it was making was already alarming in itself. You however, could give less of a shit. Not when you could barely breathe.
“Atsushi!” You wailed, trying everything in your power to squirm away from the relentless pounding your pussy was taking at the hands of your 6’10” boyfriend. Your lungs rushed to catch up and your muscles seized, toes curling. The wet slapping of skin was a positively pornographic sound. In the dim light, your body shone with sweat, tears, drool and your own juices, unable to do anything except cry and take his huge cock. This was a hard enough feat on your good days, but today? Atsushi had thrown you onto the bed and ripped your clothes off, no prep and no warning, before bullying his cock into your tiny pussy and proceeding to fuck you into the mattress.
All he did was grunt in response, hair obscuring his face from you, one hand holding your wrists tight over your head, while the other groped roughly at your breast, pinching and pulling your nipple so hard it made you shriek. His massive frame pressed down on your torso, leaving you with little room to breathe and even less room to move. His fast and trembling breath hit your cheek, the only sign that he was affected by this like you were. Your legs shook, twitching in the air as you took everything you got, feet kicking.
“Atsushi, please, slow-” you weeped. “Slow down.”
A rough hand reached up, gathering your hair and tugging hard enough to make you arch up. His pace quickened even more and you screamed.
“Silly girl,” he groaned, mouthing and licking at your throat before biting down hard. Your eyes rolled up into your head. “No ‘going slow’ today. I’m going to crush you, little bug. And you’re going to take everything I give you. Okay~?”
His singsong drawling voice was throwing you off. No one would guess he was completely wrecking you by the way he spoke. The only sign was the slightly hoarse tone of his voice. And here you were, feeling like your very nerves were being ripped from your body. Your core was singing in bliss, nearly purring when he hit just the right spot, the head of his cock pressing so deliciously inside you with each thrust it made fresh tears leak from your lash line.
You didn’t even register when he pulled out and flipped you over, the room spinning in your vision as he manhandled your hands behind your back. One strong hand gripped your wrists tight while the other wound into your hair, pushing you down until your cheek was squished into the mattress. You gasped when he entered you again and resumed his brutal pace. The new angles had you moaning all over again, your spine tingling. Your pussy burned and your thighs ached. Tears trickled down the bridge of your nose and dripped onto the sheets, mixing with the drool that ran down the corner of your mouth. The filthy squelch of his cock entering you made your face heat up, fueling every dirty desire you had ever dreamed of.
Minutes later you felt the wonderful ball in your stomach tighten, threatening to burst. Eyes squirming shut at the overwhelming feeling. Your tongue lolled out of your mouth.
“Atsu….. I’m gonna,,, I’m-” You babbled nonsensically, but your boyfriend seemed to understand, picking up his pace until you were screaming and clenching around him, stars bursting under your eyelids as your ears rang.
The last thing you heard was the low groan behind you as Atsushi’s hips stuttered, and the last thing you felt was warmth fill your core as he painted your insides white.
…………………
When you came to, you registered how cozy you felt, warm and relaxed, your back pressed into something firm while the sloshing sounds of water filled your ears. All was still and steady around you, eerily so. Your eyes blinked open slowly, as if the tiniest action was enough to fatigue you, and you smiled when you saw the pristine white tiles of your bathroom wall in front of you. You turned your head so your nose pressed into the side of Atsushi’s neck, inhaling his scent deeply.
“You’re awake,” he mumbled through a full mouth, making you pull back to look up at him. His cheeks bulged out, jaw moving as he munched on whatever he was eating. You followed the movement of his hand as he reached out to the small table beside the bathtub, dipping into a transparent bowl that you could see was filled with mini Snickers bars. You sighed and relaxed into him again, feeling him slide his other arm around your waist to steady you. His legs stretched out on either side of you and toes comically peeked out of the water on the other side.
The water around you was letting out gentle wafts of fragrant steam, and you observed that Atsushi had really gone all out this time. Bath salts tickled your skin and a scented candle gently flickered on the shelf above the tub. You felt something poke at your lips and you opened your mouth, allowing your boyfriend to feed you whatever snacks he had laid out on the table. You let the sweet chocolate melt into your mouth.
“How long have we been here?” You asked, eyes already drooping. You felt his muscles shift behind you, indicating that he was shrugging.
“Maybe ten minutes.” He hummed, looping both arms around you and pulling his legs up so he could squeeze you between his hold. You smiled and let him. The press felt nice against your exhausted limbs. You shivered when Atsushi pressed a wet kiss into your bare shoulder, nibbling lightly at the skin.
“You did good today. Sorry I went too far.”
You giggled and turned your head to look into his eyes, wet hand reaching up to thumb affectionately at the little crinkles around them. “Are you kidding? I don’t think I’ve ever come that hard in my life.”
He pressed his face into the side of your head, hair tickling your nose as you laughed, unable to muster the energy to push him away.

KIYOSHI TEPPEI X SECOND CHANCES
Peanut Wheel of Fortune Event
Cw: 2,3k, hurt to comfort, angst, Kiyoshi getting hurt (as in knb plot), one curse word, gn!reader
Plot: Kiyoshi was your biggest love, but it’s not easy to date a person who will sacrifice themselves on every chance they got
Event Masterlist
Kyoshi Teppei was a perfect guy.
When you met him at the beginning of your high school life, you couldn’t help but wonder if there was anyone who embodied Golden Retriever energy better than he did. He was so nice to everyone, energetic, polite, and well-mannered, and he simply shined everywhere he went. You couldn’t believe how that happened, that one rainy day he confessed to you, with this bright smile, a tiny blush, while rubbing his nape from embarrassment. You could guess he asked at least three different people for their good luck before talking to you. Of course, you liked him too, how could you not? It was Kiyoshi Teppei.
The first month of our relationship felt like a dream. He was Prince Charming, the greenest flag, the person who, on hearing you say you were thirsty, would run to the shop to get three of your favourite drinks and a soup just in case and sprint back before you even noticed. He always put you first and talked to you for hours, and your family loved him too. You cheered him on at every game and you became friends with his team, it all felt like the high school romance manga of your dreams. Until it started to fall apart.
Kiyoshi not only put you first, but he put everyone first. He was the most selfless person you knew. When Seirin started to get far in Inter-High elimination, he was the one working the hardest and sacrificing the most. It didn't surprise you that you spent less time together as a result: you couldn't be angry, and you'd support him no matter what. Or so you thought. Kiyoshi would never talk to you and tell you what was wrong, but you noticed a change in his behaviour at some point when his shine was no longer so bright. You noticed micro-expressions on his face like he was in pain - but whenever you asked him about it, he'd brush it off and tell you everything was fine.
Your dates became less frequent, but you were okay with that. Having a boyfriend with big dreams wasn't going to be easy. And then the Kirisaki Daiichi match happened.
At this point, you already noticed that Teppei was overworking himself. He always put everyone first without looking back - that was what you loved and hated about him at the same time. But when you saw him get hurt during the match, it broke your heart. The whole scene looked awful and you had to cover your mouth in case you were going to throw up. The match was stopped and everything was chaotic. You barely remember anything until you got to the hospital. You wanted to be there for him, to support Kiyoshi in his worst moments. But your final straw was when he refused surgery because otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to play basketball in high school.
You yelled at him to the point that the nurse asked you to leave. You cried and just told him you won't take it anymore. You refused to just stand there and watch him kill himself for basketball. He didn't say anything.
And that's how your relationship with Kiyoshi Teppei ended.
People always say that your first love rarely is the last one. You wouldn’t know - even after some time had passed and you hadn't talked to Kiyoshi since the break-up, you couldn't imagine dating someone else. You were partly grateful that he was in hospital for so long and that you didn't have to see him, because deep down you knew that if he asked you to come back, you'd do it in a heartbeat. Your friends stayed by your side, telling you that you deserved to be with someone who didn't put basketball ahead of his health and, well, you. But as the year went on, you couldn't help but wonder if you'd ever loved someone as much as you loved him.
The graduation passed and you still didn’t even see him in the school. At first, you were angry, but as time went on you had to fight the temptation to call him and ask how he was. You avoided his friends from the team till graduation, but it was eating you from the inside how you couldn’t even catch a glimpse of him at school. Graduation of the first year, spring holidays, beginning of the new year. No sight. No call, no message. You were going through all stages of grief. You heard rumours about the basketball team being amazing again, without Kiyoshi. „Good for them” you replied to your friends when someone tried to break the news to you as a kind of small talk. Everyone around you knew not to mention basketball anymore. At that point, it almost felt like it was basketball that took away your first love.
But deep down, you were rooting for Seirin. How could you not? This team was built with your lover's sweat, tears and blood. But it made you sad that he was not here to contribute to its success. Until Kiyoshi showed up for the winter semester. And instead of feeling relieved that he was well, you were angry again. When he didn't even find a second to write you a single message for a year, you kind of wished he had a good reason: not that he'd just come back to school, all bright and shiny like before, without a proper explanation. Or has he moved on?
You wouldn’t know, and to be fair, you didn’t want to know. Because the idea that Kiyoshi simply moved on, because it was not as important to him as it was to you was as painful to you, as getting hurt during the match was to Teppei. So you decided to ignore him. Pretend that you never crossed paths. Sometimes it was less painful than seeing him behave like nothing had happened and that you had never been together.
You didn’t come to any games, you didn’t want to listen to the exciting news about how Seirin had a realistic chance of winning this time. Until one day, out of nowhere, you got a message from an unknown number.
You hadn't really blocked Kiyoshi the year before, because he never really tried to contact you. But one day, a month after you broke up, your best friend invited you over for a sleepover, you had two beers together, and after being influenced, you deleted his number and all his messages. But you knew his number by heart, so when it popped up on your screen, your heart skipped a beat.
„If we win this game, please let’s talk” it’s all it said. Of course, that was so Teppei. He was at the school for almost four months and needs a fucking game to schedule when he will talk to you. You didn’t answer. There weren't enough words in the vocabulary to describe how angry and sad you were, and you didn't want to be the salty ex who wrote him an angry essay and made him lose a game.
But it happened: Seirin won. And just out of curiosity, you actually watched the game this time. You couldn't get rid of the painful feeling in your chest when you knew how much it had cost Teppei to achieve all this. On the one hand, you were relieved that he finally made it, but on the other hand, you couldn't deny the sadness. You never replied to that text, partly out of fear: you didn't really know what to expect from him anymore: it had been a year since you broke up, what was there to say? You felt stupid for never really moving on, but life went on without you. And maybe Kiyoshi too.
Days after the game, you stayed longer at school, stuck with your class responsibilities. It was quiet and the evening sun was glowing through the window, as you stapled the notes teacher asked you to bring after classes. Just as you finished, the classroom door opened abruptly. "A perfect student as always?" You heard a familiar voice and felt a shiver run down your spine. "Stop making fun of me, I've never been a perfect student anyway" you replied, slightly annoyed. This was so him: trying to make up for the year of ghosting with a friendly joke. "You never replied to my text. Did you change your number?" He ignored your answer and asked without further small talk. You avoid his eyes as you reply, avoiding the question: "Congratulations on your win, Kiyoshi."
Your tone was neutral, cold. The worst part was, it’s not like you hated him. How could you? But the wound was too deep to just fall into his arms like in a cheap romance novel. You heard his footsteps as he came closer, sitting on the table right next to you. „I’m so sorry.” You heard his full of regret voice. „I don’t even know where to start with all of the things I should apologise for. But what you need to know is that for all this time I could never stop thinking how I want to make it up to you.” He stopped for a second, and continued, hesitantly: „All I want to know, is if you… still love me enough, to give me a second chance. Or love me at all.”
You smiled, to his surprise. You finally looked at him, for the first time since he had entered the room. "How is it that after all this time you still know exactly what I want to hear?" He smiled back, but before he could say anything, you continued in a serious tone: "Why didn't you say anything for a year?" This was no time to beat around the bush - no amount of sweet words would change the fact that he had simply let you go and only returned when he had achieved his goal. No matter how you look at it, it seems that you were never his priority, only basketball.
Kiyoshi felt slightly intimidated by your straightforwardness, but sent you one of his branded bright smiles.
"You know, that's one of the things I've always loved about you: you're the most honest person I've ever met. I still remember you yelling at me in the hospital. I have thought about your words ever since." He paused for a moment, looking down at his huge, calloused hands. "At first it took me a long time to process what had happened. Can you imagine that the whole time I was in hospital, I didn't believe it was over? I just refused to believe it. All the time I just believed that we would talk it out and it would be the same. Every day I rehearsed in my head my apology when you'd walk through the hospital door like you used to. But you never did. It seems so silly now, but all the time I thought that if I wrote to you, the break-up would be real. It wasn't. I think I only realised it when I came back to school and you refused to look at me. I don't think I've ever felt so empty in my life. Not even Hanamiya's foul came close to that pain. But I didn't want to just come crawling back to you and repeat the exact same pattern as last year. I did not want to... disappoint you like that again."
After you heard him pause, you couldn't help but wonder if there was any way you could have resolved this sooner, by communicating. You looked at his face attentively. "But now… I guess after we won with Hanamiya… All I could think about was how much I want us to be together again. It is embarrassing to admit how much I missed your voice. Even if you'll just scold me. But at least" he hesitated, and you noticed a tiny blush on his cheeks, "at least I had the courage to finally ask you if there was any chance that you felt the same way." His face became even more red as he quickly added: "I heard from Riko that you don't go out with anyone, if you do, I'm so sorry for saying such things."
You looked at him, still stunned by everything you'd just heard, and you couldn't help but think that Kiyoshi Teppei really is a perfect guy. No matter how much you wanted to hate him right now, to scream at him for all the time he hadn't reached out to you, you felt the anger just go away by looking at his face, all red, and his beautiful eyes trying to avoid your gaze out of embarrassment and fear that he might have said all those things to a taken person. How could you be so angry with him? You moved slowly towards him and rested your forehead on his chest. He was surprised by the sudden touch, but didn't move.
"You're so stupid" you said as you grabbed his shirt. You waited a second to not let him notice that your voice was cracking. "Promise me you'll never do anything like that again? I never want to hear you put basketball before your health again." You couldn't see his face, but he sighed and put his hand on your head.
„I promise” he said with the most gentle voice.
You know what they say, that love is not enough for a relationship to survive. But this time you really think it will be enough to fuel both of you to work it out and grow together so that you'll never break up again.

-
In the aftermath of Seirin's victory at the Winter Cup finals, the basketball court buzzed with electric energy. The crowd erupted into cheers, players embraced in jubilation, and the air was thick with the sweet scent of success. Amidst the celebration, you, the team manager, found yourself caught up in the euphoria, standing at the center of it all.
Kuroko and Kagami, the dynamic duo who had spearheaded Seirin's triumph, were beaming with pride and exhilaration. Their radiant smiles mirrored the joyous atmosphere, infectious and impossible to resist. You couldn't help but join in, a surge of elation filling your heart as you hugged them tightly.
"We did it! We actually did it!" you exclaimed, unable to contain your excitement. "All our hard work paid off!"
Kuroko, ever composed, nodded with a small smile. "Yes, we gave it our all, and it paid off in the end."
Kagami, his adrenaline still coursing through his veins, laughed boisterously. "Hell yeah! We're the champions!"
Amidst the cheers and laughter, the bond between the three of you grew stronger. As the victory sank in, you realized just how much this team meant to you. They were more than just teammates; they were your friends and family. Together, you had overcome countless challenges and now stood at the pinnacle of high school basketball.
The court became a stage for shared stories, memories, and dreams. The euphoria of the moment seeped into every word, every smile, and every embrace. This was a time to savor the taste of victory and to revel in the camaraderie that had brought you all together.
Little did you know, this was only the beginning of a new chapter. The Winter Cup victory had opened doors to new challenges, new adventures, and perhaps even unexpected feelings.
As the celebration roared on, your eyes were drawn to Akashi Seijuro, standing alone in the midst of the jubilant chaos. His usually confident demeanor was replaced with an unfamiliar expression of shock and disbelief. It was evident that losing was a foreign concept to him, and the weight of defeat hung heavily on his shoulders.
Excusing yourself from the group, you made your way towards Akashi, curiosity burning in your chest. Kagami and Kuroko exchanged puzzled glances, unable to comprehend your sudden interest in someone you had previously shown distaste for. Kuroko, however, sensing the hidden emotions within you, offered a nod of encouragement, silently conveying his support.
Approaching Akashi, you could see the surprise flicker in his eyes as he noticed your presence. He seemed taken aback by your approach, not expecting anyone to reach out to him in this vulnerable moment.
"Congratulations on a well-fought match, Akashi," you said, offering a gentle smile.
Akashi's eyes met yours, searching for any hint of mockery or ill intent. Instead, he found sincerity and understanding, something he didn't anticipate. "Thank you," he replied, his voice carrying a mix of disbelief and resignation.
"I know this might be hard for you," you continued, your voice filled with empathy. "You've always been accustomed to winning. But it's in these moments of defeat that we grow the most."
Akashi's guard slowly lowered, realizing that you were not there to belittle him but rather to offer solace. "It's a bitter pill to swallow," he admitted, his voice tinged with a hint of vulnerability.
You nodded in understanding. "Sometimes, the greatest lessons come from our losses. It's an opportunity to reflect, to reassess our strengths and weaknesses, and to come back even stronger."
A moment of silence enveloped the two of you as the weight of the conversation sank in. It was a rare connection, borne out of unexpected circumstances, where walls were momentarily lowered, allowing for a genuine exchange.
Akashi's voice broke the silence. "You're right. This loss... it will serve as a reminder to keep pushing forward and to strive for greatness."
A soft smile played on your lips as you gazed at him. "After watching you play today and even during this whole tournament, I have no doubt you can bounce back."
Akashi's eyes met yours, a glimmer of gratitude shining through. "Thank you," he whispered, his voice barely audible.
As your conversation neared its end, you couldn't help but notice Akashi's captivating presence. The way his eyes held a depth that drew you in and the subtle curve of his lips that seemed to carry untold stories. In that moment, a realization washed over you, causing a soft blush to creep onto your cheeks.
The conversation concluded with an awkward silence settling between you. On the sidelines, Kagami and Kuroko discreetly observed, their curiosity piqued by the unexpected interaction. They exchanged glances, silently speculating on the nature of your conversation with Akashi.
The rest of the Seirin basketball team watched in awe; a mixture of surprise and curiosity danced in their eyes. They had witnessed the birth of an unlikely bond between their team manager and the enigmatic captain of the Generation of Miracles, unaware of the journey that awaited them both.
As the awkward silence lingered, you mustered up the courage to look at Akashi, your heart pounding in your chest. Biting your lip nervously, you felt a mix of nervousness and eagerness. Just as Akashi was about to excuse himself, you couldn't resist but call out to him again, your voice laced with a coy and flirty tone.
"Hey, Akashi," you said, your eyes locked with his. "I don't know when you're going to visit Tokyo again, but if you happen to drop by, maybe you should let me know. We could hang out or something. If you're free, of course."
Akashi's eyes widened in surprise, caught off guard by your boldness. However, his shock gradually dissipated, and a charming aura replaced his initial bashfulness. A dashing smile adorned his face as he gladly accepted your offer.
"I would be delighted," he replied, his voice carrying a hint of amusement. "Perhaps you could share your number, and we can make the necessary arrangements."
Your heart skipped a beat as Akashi asked for your number. With a shy smile, you exchanged contact information, the anticipation growing between you.
"I must admit," Akashi began, a playful glint in his eyes, "losing the game was a disappointment. However, stumbling upon someone as captivating as you, y/n, can certainly be counted as a delightful victory in its own right."
His words were laced with a charming jest, acknowledging the irony of the situation. A smile tugged at the corners of his lips, a subtle invitation to partake in the playful banter.
The comment caught you off guard, and a hint of blush painted your cheeks. His flirtatious demeanor was as unexpected as it was enchanting. Unable to resist the opportunity for a quick retort, you playfully responded, "Remember to thank your gods then."
With a gentle smile, Akashi's gaze met yours, a twinkle of amusement in his eyes. The unspoken understanding between you deepened, as if hinting at a future where the boundaries of competition and camaraderie blurred. The unexpected turn of events had created a unique connection, and the prospect of getting to know Akashi on a deeper level thrilled you.
After a few more exchanges of words, the conversation began to naturally wind down. Akashi excused himself, his attention being required by his coach. With a polite smile, he bids you farewell, leaving you momentarily stunned by the encounter.
As he walked away, his back straight and confident, you couldn't help but watch him with a mix of fascination and curiosity. The brief exchange had left an indelible mark, and you couldn't help but wonder what the future held for the two of you.
With a lingering smile on your face, you rejoined your friends, who were eagerly awaiting your return. Their eyes were wide with surprise, and their expressions were a mixture of shock, amusement, and curiosity. The moment they had witnessed between you and Akashi Seijuro had left quite an impression.
Kuroko, ever the calm and observant one, simply offered a small smile, his eyes twinkling with silent approval. "I didn't expect that, but it seems like you two had an interesting conversation," he commented softly.
Kagami, on the other hand, couldn't hide his astonishment. His jaw dropped, and he stared at you with a mix of disbelief and a touch of jealousy. "What the... Really, y/n? Akashi? When did this happen?" he blurted out, unable to contain his reaction.
Hyuga, the captain of the team, chuckled heartily, clapping you on the back. "Well, I'll be damned, y/n. I didn't know you had it in you to approach Akashi like that. I almost feel guilty for defeating your boyfriend."
Izuki, always one for wordplay, grinned mischievously. "Looks like you're taking 'shoot your shot' quite literally, y/n. I can't help but be impressed."
Kyoshi, the team's supportive and gentle player, chimed in with a warm smile. "That was brave of you, y/n."
As you were engrossed in the lively conversation with your teammates, you felt a gaze fixed on you. Instinctively, you turned your head, locking eyes with Akashi. His intense gaze met yours, and a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
Sensing the shift in the atmosphere, the Seirin team exploded in a chorus of exaggerated reactions. Some whistled playfully, while others nudged each other with raised eyebrows and knowing grins. Kagami, in particular, seemed ready to explode with a mix of disbelief and astonishment. You can even hear him mumble things like, "I didn't know you had a thing for psychopaths."
Riko finally chimed in amidst the commotion. "Alright, alright, settle down! Stop teasing y/n! We have to prepare for the award ceremony."
Amidst the playful banter and cheers from your teammates, you couldn't help but feel a surge of exhilaration. It was as if a new chapter had unfolded before your eyes, filled with possibilities and unspoken promises.
With a final glance back at your boisterous friends, you turned your attention fully to Akashi. And as you exchanged smiles, a mix of excitement and anticipation coursed through your veins.
The story between you and Akashi Seijuro was only just beginning, and with each passing moment, you were ready to discover what the future held.

𝑲𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒎𝒊 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒄𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒉 𝒐𝒏 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒈𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒅! 𝑭𝒆𝒎 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓
Just watched Baywatch again and OMG C.J. is SO PRETTY I got so inspired and remembered that Kagami surfs so here you go. This is set after the Vorpal Swords movie by the way. I was listening to "Accidentally In Love" by Counting Crows (Yes from the Shrek movie it slaps) because I just feel the vibe fits this idea so much <3 Or No Lie by Dua Lipa and Sean Paul works too <3
Pairing: Kagami Taiga x Fem Reader Warnings: Curse words Genre: Fluff. Might get suggestive idk.
The beaches of California especially Los Angeles were always crowded. Whether that's on weekdays and most especially on weekends and holidays. The white sand beaches were always filled with portable lounge chairs, towels, umbrellas, and sunbathing people of all ages.
And most of all, It was Kagami's favourite place to be after coming back to America earlier that year. Whenever he wasn't at school or playing basketball, he would be surfing the waves at the local beach. No better way to spend your free time than going against big ass waves that could potentially swallow you whole and drag you down to the deepest depths of the ocean. If you had to ask him about his favourite beach? Definitely Malibu. Not only are the waves large enough that you can surf but also because you're there. The attractive and beautiful lifeguard. You were also a student, like him from what he's heard and you're only a part-timer there. But my oh my did he love seeing you.
He actually thought of pretending to drown but he knew that he wouldn't be able to convince you especially after you just saw how agile he is even in the water, even complimenting his surfing skills!
Kagami knew that if he wanted to take you out on a date, he would have to do it the classic way.
It was Saturday and he didn't have practice. He decided to catch a bus to go to the beach and catch some waves, trying to convince himself that it was just because he wants to surf even if he knows, deep down, that a huge factor of why he actually wanted to go is because he wanted to see you. He hopped off the bus and inhaled the scent of the seaside, the sounds of the waves and the chatter of the locals and tourists. He dropped off his bag somewhere he could see it and slipped his shirt off. The redhead looked around and to your usual post if you were there, but he couldn't see you anywhere. He sighed but decided to go on with his plans anyway.
“Hey, Cassanova~! Lookin’ for name?” f/bf teased as she passed by him, making the redhead roll his eyes.
f/bf had known about his (not so) little crush on you for AGES. She never failed to notice how Kagami’s gaze would linger a little longer on your figure or how he would instinctively search the beach for you and sigh in disappointment once he realizes you were not there. And she also never failed to tease him about it in your absence.
“Get out of my hair.” He said, his face heating up as he grabbed his surfboard to go catch some waves.
It was f/bf’s turn to roll her eyes as she watched him jog over to the water. She was so so tired of playing middle-woman between the two of you. She’s been watching you two ogle at each other for MONTHS and you still haven’t gotten past the small, fleeting talks.
Meanwhile, you were actually supposed to be on the beach. But traffic caught you on the way and thankfully, you didn’t have to worry about your superiors yelling at you because you had informed them ahead of time. Once you arrived, you jogged to the locker rooms and hurriedly changed into your swimsuit before sprinting to your post.
“I’m so sorry I was late, Jeana!” You said to your coworker, with who you would exchange shifts. She smiled in understanding,
“It’s okay! No biggie~” She said before you watched her form disappear.
You took your place and monitored the beach. Your shift was gonna be a little longer today. It wasn’t too hot that you were sweating like a sinner in church but not too cold that your lips would turn blue. It was a bit windy though and the tides were a bit higher than usual but thankfully, most visitors were professional swimmers, athletes, and surfers. But it was still your job to make sure that they will only be leaving the beach with good and happy memories. You had to stand up a few times since there were still kids that underestimated the tide but thankfully, they were all fine.
A few hours into your shift, your best friend’s voice was heard as she slid next to you, handing you your favourite snack and a cold drink. “Guess who I saw today~?”
You scoffed playfully, “That British Girl you’ve been flirting with since she arrived?”
F/bf gasped, hitting your arm, “Gosh no! I wish... But not the point! I saw Taiga today!” She said excitedly, knowing your not-so-secret crush on the basketball player.
Your figure visibly lightened up, eyes started to twinkle. This didn’t go unnoticed by the girl next to you as she smirked, “12 o’clock,” She said suddenly, catching your attention.
You became alert, thinking that your friend was pertaining to an emergency, a drowning person maybe as you stood up abruptly, grabbing your binoculars and trying to look in that direction.
“I didn’t know you were that eager to see him.” f/bf whispered next to you as you removed the binoculars and came face to face with Kagami’s figure rising from the waters, his surfboard held in one arm and pressed against his hips as water droplets ran on his body, just meters away from you.
“Oh,” You muttered absentmindedly.
Your gaze lingered longer than it should as you watched him take a towel to dry himself with.
“You should probably go ask him out. Your shift’s ending in…right now actually. Ask him to go grab a bite to eat with you.” f/bf encouraged you.
You looked at her, then back to Kagami, then back to her again before you looked at the clock. She was right. Your shift’s over. You thanked her before you went and jogged towards the basketball player, feeling your heart hammer in your chest as you got closer to him.
His back was facing you so he didn’t see you coming, but he did sense a presence behind him. He turned to look at you, expecting your menace of a friend but his eyes met yours. You were smiling so sweetly at him, your hair already a little dry but still a little wet, clad in your lifeguard uniform.
“Hey,” You greeted him, grinning in his direction.
“Hey..”
You giggled at his awkwardness, finding it adorable. “So my shift’s over… And I was wondering if you wanted to get a bite to eat. My treat. Like…a date,”
Kagami’s mouth hung open as his gaze flicked to your previous post, seeing your best friend holding a thumbs-up with a grin on her face.
His lips curled upwards, face heating up as he nodded, “Sure yeah. I’d love that.”
You perked up, smile widening as you said, “Great! I’ll just change out of my swimsuit and we can go.” Kagami nodded as he watched you skip over to the locker room, with your best friend high-fiving you on the way. He couldn’t help but feel giddy. He just couldn’t believe it! He was gonna go out with his crush, from the beach! He honestly thought you were out of his league.
But now? Sitting across you at a local diner that serves THE BEST burgers in town? Maybe he did have a chance with you after all. You did ask him out.

Lucky at Love - Akashi x Soulmate! Reader
Akashi Seijurou is used to the idea of an arranged marriage. He is used to the idea of a marriage of convenience, to a choice that is not his. So it's not that much harder to get used to the idea of having a soulmate.
After all, not all people have soulmate marks. Not all people with soulmate marks actually find each other. And in that small group of people... not all fall in love.
Love is a broad term. Respect is so much easier to understand.
Yet, and he only ever thinks about this in his most vulnerable moments, he loved his mother. And though it's sometimes hard to understand, he knows he will not be able to hold back against this feeling. If he marries someone he does not love, he does not know if he will be able to keep up the facade in the face of love.
So he does what he does best. He researches the shit out of every possible option - if he were to use Ryota's language.

What he doesn't expect in all his calculations, is to meet you on his first day at Rakuzan, clipboard pressed against your chest as you listen to his speech.
It's cliche as hell. He's the Captain and you're the Manager. His father is one of Rakuzan's biggest sponsors and you're here on a scholarship. He's confident and you're not... He's in love and you're pretty much clueless.
Akashi knows, weeks before he spots the familiar mark on your neck, that he doesn't care.
He thought himself a rational thinker, not overly emotional, yet he's fallen so hard for you he's forgotten how to get up.
"You need to drink more water," he tells you gently as the heat beats down on all of them. "It's no good if our manager succumbs to dehydration."
"Of course, Captain," you respond, seemingly unaffected as your hands touch when you hand him his water bottle.
God, he's hopeless.
Flirting is hard when you've never had to do it before.
Everyone else already loved him for who they expected him to be. All he had to do was keep up the expectations.
-x-
"Are you okay?" You ask.
The rest of the team had advised against it. Losing the Winter Cup, especially against an Underdog Team like Seirin, had shaken the Captain pretty hard. He'd still been in there when Mibuchi left as the last of the team, gentle hand on your shoulder trying to lead you away.
"He needs to be alone for a moment," he'd told you but you just smiled and nodded and told him you'd see him in school.
Akashi is... exceptional. Probably always has been.
You'd been unable to keep from researching him, watching hours after hours of old Teiko games, heart beating faster every time you spotted his blurry red hair.
There's something about him that keeps you on your toes, heart beating faster, breath catching in your throat.
It's not just his looks, you know, because you'd hoped it'd only be that. No one, not even the guys on the team, can deny that he's attractive. Your hand had brushed his hair barely once and you're still unable to forget it, the silky texture, the bright red.
There's also the fact that he doesn't ask for attention, he just gets it. He never gets flustered, or nervous, or scared. Even faced with the harsh reality of half the team quitting because they didn't want a first-year as a Captain he didn't despair.
He treats everyone with respect and you, the manager, with kindness.
How could you not fall in love with him?
And then there's the fact that he's your soulmate.
-
His fingers twitch in his lap. The strap of your bag is digging into your shoulder.
"You haven't lost often, have you?" You ask, lump in your throat. "I know your stats."
His soulmate mark is on his left shoulder. You'd seen it once by accident, at your second-ever training when some ass "accidentally" poured his sports drink over Akashi's jersey.
You wonder if it tingles right now like yours does whenever he's near. You wonder if he'd care if he knew. Not that it matters right now.
"This is my first." He says, eyes on his hands. His voice is empty.
You take a seat on the bench opposite to his, heart quivering in your chest.
"I'm sorry," you tell him, because you are. "I know it must hurt. It hurts me too. But..." You swallow. "I don't think it's that bad. Everyone loses sometimes. And it's better to lose one game than your life, right?" You're not sure what convinces you to say the next words. But they're out of your mouth before you realize it.
"I heard bad luck in games makes you lucky at love..."
His head shoots up so fast you fear it's going to give him whiplash.
His eyes zero in on you and you have half a mind to wonder how they seem to have changed color - or at least one of them did - before he speaks.
"Do you mean that?"
"Huh?!" You ask, surprised by the intensity of his tone.
"Do you mean that? That I'd be lucky at love?"
You blink.
"You're Akashi Seijurou," you tell him, voice quivering with emotion, "Who could not love you?"
He says nothing for a long moment. Then, the movement so painstakingly slow it hurts, he pulls his shirt off his shoulder.
"Do you love me?"
my Kofi if you want to tip me

Not so Subtle- Aomine x fem!Reader
Return to File
Recovery date: April 8th, 2024
Description: Hiii omg could you write something for Aomine Daiki? Female reader, tall, large chest and midsize pretty please 🙏🏽 Ok, so it would take place after Seirin's win of the Winter Cup (so he's less of an asshole, but still yk). New girl student, settling in really good, she's pretty, funny, confident and witty. So he can only like, like her. They banter a lot and get friends really fast, fall in love, yadayada. Summed up: friends to lover, female/tall/witty/large chest/midsize reader OH! Bonus if you can make a scene with Kagami showing some interest in her.
Notes: This work was recovered in conjunction with an anonymous researcher, we thank them for their contribution. I had a ton of fun writing this! The reader's physical appearance doesn't come up much, but as I was writing i considered her to be around 5'10" so she was slightly taller than Momoi and slightly shorter than Aomine. Also, reader's conversation with Kagami can be interpreted as having visited or being from America.

Starting at a new school halfway through the year is a terrible experience. The easiest way to make new friends is to bond over being in a new environment, having few to no friends, and the stress of exams. Showing up in January skips over all of that and leaves you to make new friends with your own social skills.
“Hi! I’m L/n Y/n, can I join you guys for lunch?”
“Hi! I’m L/n Y/n, can I be on your team today?”
“Oh, hey, you walk home this way too? I’m L/n Y/n.”
Y/n has no idea why her parents were so worried about starting her in a new school so late in the year. This was easy. Sure not everyone she talked with ended up being her friend, but she’d somehow ended up involved with the basketball team.
Scratch that, she knew exactly how she’d wound up as one of the basketball team’s managers.
“Y/n-chan!” Momoi squeals, through herself at the other woman’s back.
Momoi’s arms wrap around Y/n’s shoulders and the woman leans forward so that Momoi is laying on her back as they both laugh. When Y/n stands back up Momoi carefully drops back to the floor and links their arms together.
“Sa-chan, welcome back. Over your cold?”
“Mhm.”
The two continued over to the gym. Momoi was practically leaning against Y/n with her head on the taller woman’s shoulder as she complained about the last few days.
“Dai-chan didn’t even visit me! Let’s see how he likes it when I don’t visit him next time he’s sick. He probably wasn’t even practicing,” she grumbled.
“Hate to break it to you but he was.”
“Of course he was, seriously, I thought losing to Seirin-”
“No, I mean he was practicing.”
Momoi stopped, hand outstretched to the gym door, and turned to face Y/n. The annoyed pout she’d been sporting during her rant morphed into a wide smile.
“Really?! I’m so glad.”
Y/n laughed, reaching past Momoi and opening the door.
“I mean, I had to hunt him down yesterday because he skipped class and fell asleep, but ya he's been-”
The squeaking sound of shoes on the gym floor, followed by a dunk and yelling cut her off. The managers looked over to the hoop on the far end of the court and found Aomine being chewed out by Wakamatsu. Aomine’s attention, however, was drawn towards the women as the sound of the door closing echoed through the gym. He waved, turning Wakamatsu’s attention away from him and allowing him to slip away to the stage.
“Momoi, welcome back, are you feeling better?”
“Much, thank you!”
“Aomine!” Y/n yelled, stopping the forward half way across the gym. “Apologize.”
“I didn’t do shit!”
“That’s the problem!” Wakamatsu complained. “You absolutely could have stopped that dunk.”
“Dai-chan-”
“I wouldn’t worry about it.” All eyes turned to Y/n who’d taken a seat on the stage. “I mean, I’m sure that red haired dude from Seirin would love to get some dunks past him, Aomine’s just being considerate.”
“Hah?”
The rest of the team turned away, covering their mouths, to stifle their laughter as Aomine’s face visibly twitched in annoyance. Momoi cleared her throat and took a deep breath.
“Dai-chan, practice seriously. Seirin will be here soon.”
It was still weird for the team to see Aomine listen to people. Sure he dragged his feet plenty, in this case literally as he made his way back to Wakamatsu and the rest of the team, but since the Winter cup he was seemingly more open to suggestions. And when suggestions didn’t work, the new manager seemed adept at getting under his skin enough to make him want to do whatever it was he needed to.
Momoi joined Y/n on the stage and pulled her clipboard out of her bag.
“He likes you,” Momoi whispered as she flipped through papers to find her notes on Seirin.
“Not this again.”
“He listens to you, he doesn’t even listen to me!”
“He listens to you.”
“Only if he already wants to do whatever it is, remember last week when we were studying? He tried to take a nap and he only went back to studying after you asked.”
“Okay, he likes me… as a friend that he acknowledges won’t deal with his bullshit.”
Momoi rolls her eyes and hands Y/n the clipboard before resting her chin on her shoulder to see the paper.
“I’ll prove it to you,” Momoi muttered. “Alright, so…”
As the team got some last minute practice in, Momoi gave Y/n a last minute crash course on Seirin.
Just as they were getting to the bench players, Momoi’s phone rang.
“Tetsu!” She squealed as she accepted the call and slid off the stage. The team stopped practicing and Wakamatsu got everyone to start cleaning up. “How did you guys get lost?”
“Yo.” Y/n looked to her right to find Aomine leaning against the stage. He slid a piece of paper over to her feet, the number 74 was written and circled in red marker. “Thanks.”
“Seventy-four, nice.” She picked up the test and gave it a quick once over. “Impressive, you didn’t get a zero on any of the questions.”
“Ya, well I had an okay teacher.”
“Sa-chan got a ninety and I got a ninety-eight, so you own us ice-cream today.”
Rolling his eyes, Aomine snatched back his test and stuffed it in his bag.
“Sorry we’re late!” A chorus of voices called out.
The two first years turned to find the Seirin basketball team, being led in by Momoi, taking their shoes off. Momoi skipped over to her friends and grabbed Y/n’s hands, pulling her from the stage.
“Come on, there’s someone you need to meet!”
“Alright, I’m coming. We’ll talk more after the game, Aomine!”
---
Tōō won, ending twenty points ahead of Seirin. Not unexpectedly as Kuroko’s misdirection was completely useless and Kiyoshi was gone. What was unexpected was the way Aomine seemed to be targeting Kagami, whether that be scoring through Seirin’s ace or shutting down as many of his scoring attempts as possible. During the break after the first half, Wakamtsu had chewed the ace out for showing off.
“We’re winning, aren’t we?”
“This isn’t about winning, it’s about getting better!”
Aomine had just shrugged.
“I think he’s jealous,” Momoi whispered after the players had left at the end of the break.
“We’re in the middle of a game.”
“I think it’s because you were talking with Kagami.”
“You were the one who said I should meet him,” Y/n huffed.
“I had to test a theory.”
“What theory?”
Momoi glanced over at Y/n, but was cut off by the coach clearing his throat.
Seirin headed out almost immediately after the game, while the Tōō players cleaned the gym. This time, Y/n walked them back to the bus stop so that they wouldn't get lost again. When she got back, she found Aomine sitting on the steps with her bag.
“Where’s Sa-chan?”
“She left, said she was feeling kind of tired and wanted a rain check on her ice-cream.”
Aomine handed Y/n her bag, and the two made their way to the school entrance.
“No post-match debriefing today?”
“I have no idea, everyone was being weird as fuck.”
Y/n nodded slowly. It was a logical conclusion that Momoi had introduced her to Kagami to make Aomine jealous, and that she’d convinced the team to clear out before she got back so that they’d be alone. Skipping ahead, Y/n turned around to face Aomine and kept walking backwards. It didn’t seem like they were being watched.
“Speaking of weird as fuck-oof.”
“Wall.”
“Fuck you,” Y/n grumbled, making Aomine laugh as she stepped around the wall and on to the sidewalk. “What was up during today’s game?”
“What about it?”
“Sa-chan thinks you’re jealous.”
“Tch, jealous of what?”
Y/n shrugged. “Race you to the convenience store!”
“Hey!”
Obviously Y/n didn’t plan to win. Aomine pulled ahead of her almost immediately, once he recovered from the surprise, and maintained a decent lead to arrive at the store just before her without leaving her completely in the dust. He laughed as she finally arrived and immediately collapsed against the side of the building, trying to catch her breath.
“So, what’s my prize?” He grins, bracing an arm above her and leaning in so they were eye level.
She raised her index finger to his face.
“Would you like to cash your prize in now or save up?”
“Why did Satsuki say I was jealous?”
“That’s what you want your prize to be?”
Y/n straightened up and joined Aomine in leaning sideways against the wall.
“Answer the question or you’re buying ice-cream.”
“Ah.”
Pushing off the wall, Y/n grabbed the front of Aomine’s shirt and pulled him into the store after her. The two made a B-line for the frozen section at the back.
“She thought you’d be jealous I was talking with Kagami,” Y/n shrugged, picking up Aomine’s favorite popsicle and her own.
The sound of the freezer closing filled the store, and the buzzing of the lights seemed incredibly loud in the silence that followed. Y/n looked over at Aomine to find him staring at her. She held out his popsicle, waving in front of his face when he didn’t immediately take it.
“What were you two talking about?”
“Huh?”
“You and Kagami. Why was he blushing?”
“Oh my god you’re jealous,” Y/n mumbled.
Aomine grabbed his popsicle and pushed the back of her head as he walked towards the counter. A wide grin spread across Y/n’s face as she chased after him, setting her treat next to his.
“We were talking about America and he was blushing because I said it was cute that he and his brother have matching rings.”
“Don’t call him cute.”
“I didn’t call him cute, I called the idea of having matching rings cute.”
“I could get us matching rings,” Aomine muttered.
The sound of the convenience store bell nearly drowned his voice out as they left the store, but Y/n was right on his heels and barely caught it.
“Sa-chan also said you like me.”
Y/n ran right into Aomine’s back when he stopped suddenly. She watched the back of his head as she unwrapped her treat and started eating.
“I think it’s funny that everyone thinks I haven’t figured it out.” Aomine’s shoulders tense up. “I mean, I wouldn’t say you’re subtle when you look at my boobs.”
Y/n gently kicks the back of Aomine’s heel, urging him to keep walking. When he didn’t move she sidestepped him and started walking in front of him.
When he didn’t keep walking with her, she turned around.
He didn’t look stunned, definitely flushed, but he looked impatient– like he’d been waiting for her to turn around. Y/n inclined her head.
“You could’ve said something.”
“I could’ve,” Y/n shrugged as she walked back up to Aomine. “But I wanted to see the great Aomine grovel, just a bit.”
He frowned.
“What does that mean?”
“It means you need to ask me out.”
“Go out with me.”
Y/n sighed. “That wasn’t a question.”
“Nope, now let’s go get burgers.”
Aomine opened his popsicle and wrapped his free arm around Y/n’s shoulder as the two headed down the street.

If you're still doing requests, could you do a oneshot for Kuroko x reader where someone is being rude to Kuroko about his basketball abilities but reader is a lil chaotic and ready to throw down? After that situation the team is probably very cautious if they choose to poke fun at Kuroko

The sun was at its highest point, casting a scorching heat over Seirin High School that mid-afternoon. Its relentless rays beat through the window of the gym, down to the basketball court and turns the atmosphere into a sweltering furnace. The practice session had been grueling, pushing the Seirin High School basketball club to their limits.
The final whistle reverberated through the air, bringing an end to their grueling training session. A collective sigh of relief escaped the lips of the players, their exhausted bodies yearning for respite. Beads of sweat glistened on their foreheads as they swiftly gathered their belongings, a sense of urgency propelling their movements.
They sling their bags over their shoulders, their steps heavy with the weight of the intense practice. The thought of grabbing a refreshing beverage from the nearby corner store and seeking solace in the cool embrace of air conditioning consumes their minds.
Together, they move to file out of the gym, chatting tiredly with each other. You stand on the sidelines, watching the practice from start to finish. Your eyes scan the court, following the movements of the players with pride and admiration. Being the team manager and Kuroko's significant other has strengthened your connection with the team, making them equally important to you.
Kuroko, however, lingered behind, taking a moment to quench his thirst before glancing in your direction. His gaze, though usually understated, held a softness that spoke of his affection for you alone. He looks away when his name is called, Kagami urging him to hurry up. Kuroko complies, throwing his water bottle into his bag and zipping it up.
Instead of joining the group of boys first, he heads towards you, "I can stay and help," he offers a hand in clean-up, as he always does. But of course, you decline. He has worked so hard during practice, deserving of a break.
"It's fine, Tetsu," you tell him, leaning closer to give him a kiss on the cheek, "It's my job."
Kuroko's internal conflict is visible, his yearning to push back against your rejection evident in his torn expression. However, he relents with a nod, "Text me when you're finished. I'll come back to walk you home." He turns away to join the rest of the group, immediately disappearing in the middle of them. With that, he turns away, seamlessly blending in with the rest of the team as they make their way towards the door.
They all approach the exit, their progress comes to an abrupt halt as they encounter a group of opponents from an upcoming game. The atmosphere instantly becomes charged, tension crackling in the air. The Seirin team members exchange wary glances, a mixture of curiosity and caution painting their faces. It's clear that this unexpected encounter is about to escalate into something more than a simple exchange of words.
"Heard a member of the Generation of Miracles was on this team," one of them speaks up, overlaying confidence and smugness.
This puts everyone on guard, wondering why they are specifically looking for Kuroko. Sensing the tension, Kuroko, not one to fear confrontation, takes a bold step forward and suddenly appears in front of them out of nowhere.
"That would be me," he tells them, his voice steady and unwavering.
The opposing players look at him up and down, exchanging bewildered looks with each other to confirm they are indeed looking at the same person. However, instead of awe or respect, they burst into laughter, unable to contain their amusement.
"There's no way this guy's from the Generation of Miracles!" one of them exclaims, bent over and clutching their stomach from laughing too much.
"He looks like he'll break just from lifting a ball," another interjects in between fits of laughter. The rest of the opposing team joins in, their voices blending into a chorus of derision.
"The hell did you say?!" Kagami growls, pushing Kuroko back with his pinched eyebrows and eyes burning with a fire reminiscent of being in a heated game, "You wanna fight, punk?"
But the opposing team remains unmoved. They look unaffected by Kagami's threatening demeanor and continue to mock Kuroko, belittling his supposed lack of abilities on the court. Everyone present knows that such claims couldn't be further from the truth.
Having stood off to the side for far too long, you've had enough of their disrespectful behavior. With a determined stride, you stomp over to the group, pushing your way to the front and brushing Kagami aside, leaving him in stunned silence behind you at the force you gave to move him.
"What's your problem?" you challenge, your voice cutting through the tension with an edge of anger. The rude players turn to face you, their smug expressions faltering under your intense gaze, "You think you're so tough, coming over here to mock him? You clearly have no idea what you're talking about!"
One of the more intimidating members of the opposing team sneers at you, stepping forward with a menacing glare, "Who the hell are you?" he demands, attempting to intimidate you.
"I'm the fucking manager, and I don't appreciate you strutting in here like you shit doesn’t stink," you retort, placing your hands defiantly on your hips. Your stance exudes confidence and readiness to face any challenge that comes your way.
The insulted player's face contorts with anger, his veins bulging in his neck as he clenches his fists, "You bitch!" he spits out, his words laced with venom.
A smirk tugs at the corner of your lips as you take in the situation. It's amusing how they weren't threatened by Kagami, yet your entrance has turned their world upside down. Like a whirlwind of chaos, you've disrupted their arrogance.
"Fuck you," you shoot back, your words dripping with disdain, "Kagami warned you earlier, but it seems you need a reminder. These hands are rated 'E' for everyone, assface."
Your words hang in the air, a potent mix of defiance and readiness to engage in whatever confrontation may come your way. The opposing players exchange uncertain glances, their bravado momentarily shattered by your fearless attitude.
Aida, having silently witnessed the exchange, rushes to intervene before the situation escalates further. She steps between you and the opposing team, her voice firm yet composed. "Alright, that's enough. We're here to focus on our training, not engage in pointless quarrels."
You reluctantly back down, still seething with anger but recognizing the need to prioritize the team's goals. Casting one last withering glare at the opposing players, you turn away, your head held high.
“Woah, I didn’t know they could get that mad,” You overheard Koganei whisper amongst the group, watching you walk away when the opposing group finally left, “It was kinda scary.” his words resonate with the rest of the teammates, eliciting nods of agreement.
“It was like hulk mad but less smash.” Izuki chimes in, his comment met with a chorus of groans and chuckles. The team resumes their departure, their conversations gradually shifting back to lighter topics.
Kagami pauses at the door, observing Kuroko following closely behind you. Recognizing the importance of giving Kuroko his space, he shrugs his shoulders and decides to let him deal with things on his own, knowing they can catch up later.
Still seething with anger, you storm towards the basketball rack, forcefully slamming the remaining balls onto it. The sound echoes through the empty gymnasium, reflecting your frustration. As you reach for another ball, you suddenly feel Kuroko's presence in your field of vision. He extends a basketball towards you, offering it as if to ease your tension.
You take the ball from him, placing it on the rack with a bit more care than before. Glancing up at Kuroko, you can't help but notice the concern etched on his face. He reaches out to hold your hand, his touch gentle yet comforting.
"What's up?" you ask, your voice still tinged with irritation. You want to vent your frustrations, but at the same time, you were more interested in how he was feeling.
Kuroko meets your gaze, his eyes filled with genuine worry, "Are you okay?" he asks, his voice soft and filled with genuine concern.
Letting out a huff, you squeeze his hand, the touch grounding you, "I'm not the one who was insulted here," you playfully tease, trying to lighten the mood despite the lingering anger..
A small smile graces Kuroko's lips, his eyes sparkling with affection, "Yet, I'm the least mad between us," he jokes, his words holding a hint of warmth.
Nodding, you step closer to him, seeking solace in his presence,"I'm okay," you assure him, your voice softening, "But how about you, Kuroko?"
Kuroko's smile grows, and he pulls you into a gentle embrace, his arms enveloping you with warmth and reassurance, “I appreciate your concern," he replies, his voice steady and filled with conviction, “But I'm used to facing such challenges. I won't let their words affect me. As long as I have you and our team by my side, I can overcome anything."
Moved by his resilience, you lean in closer, resting your head on his shoulder, "You're incredible, Kuroko," you whisper, your voice filled with admiration, "Let's finish up here quickly and do an early milkshake movie date. We both deserve it."
A week later, the day of the match arrives. The team that had disrespected Kuroko learns a valuable lesson on the court. Seirin High School emerges victorious, their skills and teamwork shining brightly. As the final buzzer sounds, you can't help but feel a surge of pride. The opposing team, humbled by their defeat, can only hang their heads in shame.
During the post-match celebration, you make sure to rub their defeat in their faces, a playful smirk gracing your lips. The Seirin team witnesses your triumph and takes note, realizing that teasing Kuroko is no longer a wise choice.

“One bed!?"
Kagami Taiga x Manager!Reader
(Saw a list of generic romance tropes and couldn’t help myself)
cw: sfw, fluff + comedy (except i’m not funny), timeskip match predictions, kagami being an awkward giant, the one bed trope, aged up (kagami and reader are both 18 after the interhigh), manga ending (kagami stays in japan in the manga, unlike the movie)
The last two years were, a lot to say the least. Not only had the Vorpal Swords taken off shortly after the match against Jabberwock, but with the permanent addition of Kagetora as manager of the Seirin basketball team, Kagami had a lot on his plate.
It was difficult when the second, or should I say third, years graduated. The reliance and foundation built between them was one not easily replaced. Additionally, despite the newfound popularity of the team, it stayed relatively small. Inevitably, this led to Seirin’s defeat in the Interhigh.
With the Winter Cup in sight, he really just wanted to feel that glory again, winning with his old Serin teammates.
And he did, thanks to your help. As a younger friend of Riko, you had asked to be the manager for Seirin after hearing of their loss in the Interhigh, and given your friendship with their old coach, the team was in no position to refuse your offer.
And upon seeing the results that your suggestions produced, they were ready to keep you by any means possible.
By the time the Winter Cup came around, it was as if Seirin was a new team entirely; their coordination and plays were extremely effective against teams of any caliber, and the bonds between the members ensured their success.
It was also because of this display that Kagami found himself becoming increasingly drawn to you, for reasons made clear to him by Kuroko.
"You like her don't you?"
"WHAT? I DO NOT- i do."
"Yeah, I thought so."
And so the saga began. Kagami would start to grow more and more awkward around you. This caused a bit of a problem, as you began to think that he was getting sidetracked, and as the most powerful player on the team, causing the other players efforts to go to waste slightly.
It only got worse when you took him to the side to speak with him alone, and expressed your concern for his lack of concentration. He just stuttered and wasn't sure how to respond.
"Kagami, I seriously need you to listen to me..."
"I-i understand...I'll do m-my best for you and the team."
Out of nowhere, you hugged him tightly, which caught him completely off guard.
"I'm glad you understand..."
After practice that day, Kagami felt so light.
-

-
The night before the final against Rakuzan, the team, thanks to the school's newly increased budget (and a little pocket change from Riko), decided to stay at a nearby hotel with a gym so that they could get some morning training in before the big game.
However, upon arrival at the front desk, you ran into a problem.
"B-but I swear I booked 7 rooms..."
"I'm sorry, but there are only 6 listed here..."
You sigh.
"Are there any rooms available?"
"Yes, however there is only one bed opposed to the three in the other 6."
"...it's fine, i'll take it, sorry for the trouble, and thank you."
You walk over to the lobby, where the other members are waiting to get into their rooms.
"What took so long? Was there a problem with our rooms?" Kuroko asks.
"There was actually...so one of you will have to stay with me in a different roo-"
"Kagami will do it."
"K-Kuroko! Don't just say that!" Kagami whisper-yells, face turning redder each word.
The other members shrug in agreement, wanting to be in their own shared rooms to be able to freely discuss whatever they wanted without the eyes of their manager watching over them.
Kagami learns pretty quickly that trying to fight is useless. It's adorable, you think to yourself. The team heads up to their block of rooms, while you and Kagami take a different route to your room.
It looks like you forgot to tell him one detail though...
"One bed!?"
"Yeah, I hope that's okay... Unless any of the other guys let you sleep with them in their beds, we have to share."
Before you can even utter another word, Kagami is zooming across the hotel to the other players' rooms, knocking on each door.
Unfortunately for Kagami, with his size comes consequences. None of the other players wanted to share their already small beds with the biggest player on their team, even Kuroko.
"Y/N is smaller than me, sharing a bed should be no issue for the two of you." Kuroko states.
Kagami just lies on the floor, burying his red face in his hands.
"gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..."
A knock on the door is heard by the others, and they open the door.
"Hey, have you guys seen Kaga- oh, there he is."
At the sound of your voice, Kagami springs up, wiping the dust and lint off of himself.
"Y-Y/N! I-i..."
Knowing that letting him resist and even just speak anymore would result in Kagami most likely passing out, Kuroko says,
"Kagami was just about to go back to your room, he just needed to borrow some deodorant. He's forgetful like that."
Kagami shoots Kuroko a death-glare, in a way that screams "Are you my wingman or what!?"
You nod in acknowledgement and turn to Kagami, smiling "That's okay, just get back soon!"
The moment you leave,
"Ow-ow-ow...what was that for...?" says Kuroko, Kagami's hands digging into his shoulders.
Kagami just stares at him with desperate eyes.
"Come on Kuroko...let me stay with you..."
"That's perfect, say that to Y/N and you guys will be dating in no time."
"...You're the worst..."
You lay on the bed, sprawled out, tapping through all of the outdated TV channels logged into the hotel's TV. (a/n needed to add this to rant: WHY ARE ALL HOTEL ROOM TV CHANNELS OLD AND PIXELATED IT DRIVES ME INSANE)
"...G-got any room for me...?"
You spring up in shock, and notice Kagami standing at the door, blushing like mad, avoiding eye contact.
You roll to the side and pat the other half meant for Kagami.
"I guess the others didn't let you sleep in their beds."
"...y-yeah..." Kagami squeaks, as he feels your shoulder touch his.
You, of course, are not oblivious to his feelings. It was bugging you that Kagami seemingly avoided you whenever you tried to talk to him, but the rosy cheeks and unintentional voice cracks whenever he'd try to talk to you.
May as well see where this goes...
You intentionally brush your thigh up against his under the guise of reaching for the remote on the other side.
"...ah..."
You giggle, noticing his tiny sounds. It's truly unbelievable that such a big player's demeanour can be reduced to a mouse's under the right circumstances.
"Hm? What's wrong?" you ask, though, you know exactly what you're doing to him.
"..."
You decide to let it go, especially since Kagami looks like he'd explode if you pestered him any longer.
As the time passes, you decide to ask Kagami, "Are you ready to sleep now?"
He was trying his best until this point, he was. But the thing he'd been...dreading? Anticipating? Whatever it was, he was not prepared.
The moment you switch off the lights, you're met with Kagami's arms hugging you tightly.
"K-Kagami what-"
"...please..."
It's warm. His embrace makes you feel safe. You decide not to speak again, and instead, you both fall asleep, comforted by each other's warmth.

BOWL CUT'S FAMILY
birth giver || Raiden Ei
Kabukimono's mom
retired Sensei of Raiden Martial Group
horrible cook
but also kicked out Kabukimono out of the household when he reached 17 because uh
he was an accident
Yae suggested Ei to abandon him without him knowing but thought of it as too cruel so instead she just kicks him out when he's at an appropriate age
ye
anyways uh
uses flip-phones too much to the point that she gets confused when she was given an actual, newer phone brand on why there's no keyboard
never gets contacted by Kabukimono anymore
for a valid reason tbh
birth giver's shitty wife || Yae Miko
a menace
never liked Kabukimono
never liked any of Ei's children tbh
the only person allowed to cook in the Raiden household
CEO of Yae Publishing Inc. (also chief editor of it, very judgemental too)
did i say she's a menace?
she is.
both at work and at home
even tho she doesn't like Kabukimono, she sometimes contacts him for a spa date
does Scara answer?
no
but he still comes anyways
birth giver's abandoned daughter || Raiden Senshi
The new Sensei of Raiden Martial Group
Raiden Martial Group basically teaches all kinds of Japanese Self Defense, Swordsmanship, Bowmanship, etc.
very skilled in Martial Arts, Kenjutsu (Japanese Swordsmanship), Naginatajutsu, and more
a very strict teacher
if you want to hire her as a mentor, you're practically asking for torture
merciless as HELLL
if she breaks your bone and you whine to her about it, she'd basically just stand there and go
" weakling! "
and say that you haven't trained enough
is she still in contact with the Raiden family?
kinda
but she's just
yk
there
scara doesnt like her, says that she's like a living robot with no personality
is also the youngest sibling of the Raiden family
Aunty Makoto || Raiden Makoto
Ei's twin sister that's actually sane in the family
a humble doctor
lives in a different house than the Raiden family
when she was informed that Kabukimono was kicked out, she called him to see if he's alright and offered him to stay in her home for a while until he gets his life back up.
the only reason why scara is alive back then tbh
is still in contact with Scara
basically while Kabukimono was staying with her, she taught him all kinds of stuff to do to help her around the house
all his househusband skills are taught by her
shout out to Aunty Makoto fr
