I only found out when I compared them together… I wonder what sort of relationship they have? It’s kind of hard to imagine Jyu-chan being buddies with Hiroshi-chan… Hmmm.”

“Wittle Seiichi-chan isn’t my favorite team member, but I’d be lying if I said he wasn’t adorable! He always tenses up whenever I spot him. "Ah yes, I met Emiko-chan during HypMic's Collaboration Event. She was very... friendly and kind, if a little more so than I'm used to. But still, she has a spirit in her I've not seen since I was a child. She has a way of making people feel at ease around her, which is a trait that can be used for good, as well as bad. Luckily, she uses it for the former instead of the latter..."

"I briefly met and spoke with Hiroshi-san during the Collaboration Event. He seemed like a kind young man, but... with all respect, I think I'll refrain from being alone with him for very long. It's nothing he's done, I assure you! I just... I have a very hard time dealing with people like him. I truly apologize if I offend him, henceforth..."

"Seiichi was the only member of the Harajuku Division that I wasn't able to become acquainted with. I think it was due to the fact that I intimidated him, though I don't know how or why. I've heard from Emiko-chan that he is something of an artist. A noble occupation, indeed."

"I admit, I've not been to Harajuku in quite some time. I believe the last time I was there was when I was a child with my parents. I remember it being a very fun and colorful city. After seeing the individuals representing it, I'm glad to see that that still holds true."

“What a cute young lady! She reminds me of my niece in some ways. I wonder if Shoko-chan will grow up to be strong and ambitious like her. I’m surprised at Akai-chan’s will to go against Chuuoku, despite her frail appearance and young age. It does make me slightly worried for her, but she seems to be doing fine. Better to let her do her thing than to have someone stop her, right?”

“Another attractive member! Harajuku is making us look like potatoes in comparison to the beautiful flowers that they are. Ah, but I can’t say much else about this gentleman. He just looks like a very handsome, trustworthy member of the team. I wouldn’t mind sharing a drink with him.”

“A hoodlum huh? Well, might as well enjoy that youth while he can! Being so outspoken is not a bad thing, even though a lot of people can’t stand hearing things they don’t agree with. I gotta say, teasing him could be fun, but he does sound like a snappy kid like Yano… Minus all the waterworks. It’s honestly an upgrade in comparison to Yan-Yan. Maybe we could trade team members…”

“A group of beautiful people representing a division where the youth go to be fashionable… Well, they certainly fit the criteria for promoting Harajuku! I can’t say I feel one way or the other about them. They’re all people I wouldn’t be around unless they were to get sick or injured.”

Keiko smiles at Emiko's photo. "I really like Emiko-chan! I often see her either on my way to class in the morning, or when I am in Harajuku doing a book signing. For some reason, my manga is really popular in Harajuku. I don't know why... But anyway! Emiko is always there with a kind word! I haven't visited her shop in a while, though. I should stop by next chance I'm in town."

Hiroshi Sakura

Keiko grimaces a bit at Hiroshi's picture. "Hiroshi-san seems like a... very nice gentleman. But... if I'm being honest, he seems a little... creepy to me. I mean, I know he seems nice and friendly, but... I don't know, something about him just puts me on edge. Maybe its just me. I mean, Emiko-chan likes him..."

Seiichi Asagao

Keiko frowns a bit at Seiichi's photo. "I'm a bit neutral when it comes to Seiichi-kun. On one hand, I really like the fact that's he an artist. I've seen some of the things he's drawn before, and I won't lie, he has amazing talent. But what I dislike is the fact that he uses those skills to tag buildings and walls. He has a great career as an artist, but he's not going to get far if he relies on graffiti. ...Maybe I can persuade Emiko to have him take up some art classes with me."

"I really do like this team's dynamic! It's no surprise that they're quite popular. I mean, Emiko was friends with TDD, Hiroshi has a large female fan base, and despite how I feel about it, Seiichi is popular with the younger crowd because of his "art skills". I'd like to say that (Otaku Corps) would be a match for them, but I'm not entirely sure. ...Oh well. If we do face up, it should be a fan match."

"Hmm... from what Hino was able to look up about this girl, apparently she was close to TDD. Aside from that, nothing else screams interesting about her. I've heard her rap skills, and I won't lie, they're impressive. But again, nothing really interesting."

"Lola is to thank for introducing this man to me. After Luis was unable to join our collaboration project, Lola recommended this man to me. I was skeptical, at first. But he really managed to surprise me with his charisma and rap skills. I'm not saying I'd get my hair done by him anytime soon, but if we have a party and his name isn't on the list, I'd still allow him in."

"Ugh, is it a shame to say I know this child? His father is in good standing with mine, and I was introduced to him. Never have I met such a rude, immature man. Instead of being thankful for the wealth and opportunities his father grants him, he chooses to squander his time drawing on walls. Peh, not even worth a second of my time."

"Aside from Seiichi, I've nothing negative to say about this division. From what I've heard, they seem to be quite popular within many of the divisions. I'll have to keep an eye on them to see if they are truly as good as the rumors say."

She tilts her head at Emiko’s photo. “This is the girl that was all buddy-buddy with the Dirty Dawg, right? She’s…not exactly what I was expecting, too much sunshine and rainbows for me, kinda like Ritsuko’s sister and…” She suddenly shuddered. “That model from Okinawa, but maybe I’m judging her too harshly, clearly she’s got more than she’s letting on if she hanged out with TDD back in the day and Seiichi seems to hold her pretty high so, hey, maybe I’ll give her a chance.”

Hiroshi Sakura

She sighed, “Oh, this guy. I mean, he’s okay but he’s a little too flirty, apparently he used to be an informant but stopped for some reason, that’s a shame, I could’ve used someone like him but uh, maybe not, considering he’s all acquainted with that shitty asshole cop from Yokohama.” She wrinkled her nose in disgust. “Eh, whatever…but it is funny whenever Seiichi pranks him.” She smirked.

Seiichi Asagao

Her grin grew wide. “Seiichi, the boy himself!” She laughed. “Yeah, I know him, kinda hard not to with his father and my aunt being on good terms, he’s a cool guy, once you get past his cold little persona. We actually have a lot in common which was shocking considering that we hated each other first.” She scratched her head and looked away. “But we get along, maybe, he’s a great artist and sometimes I play lookout while he does his thing and it’s fun to tease him about his crush.” She laughed. “Best thing is that he’s a rebel like I am, I’ve actually been trying to get him to join Scorpion Den, we can always use more artists to spread our message, so far, no results but I’m still trying. But uh, Aranai seems to dislike him, I wonder why?”

“Besides Mr. Stylist, I actually kinda like this team. Emiko, as bright as she is, kinda intrigues me and Seiichi is one of my friends as I said, I would love to go up against them, only to see if they’re really as powerful as people say…and to kick Seiichi’s ass.” She grinned.

She blinked a couple of times, as if not really believing what she’s seeing. “Oh…wow, Emiko? It’s been a while, I had almost completely forgot about her. We kinda met during the TDD days, we didn’t talk much, I didn’t talk to anyone really, but…it was nice when we did. I felt…somewhat comfortable with her. It’s a shame what happened with her brother, losing someone is…awful…” She murmured and frowned a bit. “Ah, but, looking at her know, she’s doing well, I’m glad. She deserves it after what she’s been through.”

Her brows furrowed. “So this is the Hiroshi guy Lola keeps gushing about, yeah, I know of him but I haven’t actually met him but from what I gathered from Lola, he’s apparently a stylist and a hit with the ladies.” She shrugs. “Cool, I guess, I don’t know what else to say, definitely looks the flirty type and uh…I’m good, thanks.” She looked away, uncomfortable.

She blinked in recognition. “Hey, this is the guy I saw when I was heading home from the studio, his name is Seiichi, right? He looked a little…off, so I followed him, turns out, he was just tagging a building.” She then sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck. “I didn’t mean to scare him off, he was actually really good, I was impressed, I wanted to say something but I had accidentally bumped into a trash can, we kinda looked at each other for a moment before he ran off…it was…really awkward.” She sighed. “Never got to say that I liked his work, kinda hope I can see him again.”

She tilted her head. “These guys are really popular, which is kinda not surprising given the people on the team, but they’re cool. It’d be nice if we all can talk one day, I know Sayaka would love to catch up with Emiko…and so do I.” She muttered.

"I've only seen this girl during the 'Collab Event'. She seemed like a nice and kind-hearted kid. Kinda naive, though. In a way, I think she reminded a bit of Evelyn..." For some reason, the American ambassador bristles and rubs his arms as if the thought, itself, was scary.

"...I'll admit, I thought this guy was just another playboy, thinking he could charm anyone he wanted with his looks and smile. In a way, he reminded me a bit of that guy from Shinjuku. Surprisingly enough though, the guy's actually pretty down to earth, which shocked me. I'm not saying I'd invite him to dinner or anything, but yeah... he's alright."

"Argh, I had to work with this guy for one of the songs on the 'Collab Album'. And despite how good the guy is on the mic, he really needs to learn to keep his opinions to himself, or at least learn the meaning of the word, 'tact'."

“Akaibara is a unique family name. Its a really uncommon name, so it makes me wonder if it’s a stage name?”

“Ah, but Akaibara-san seems like a passionate girl. Despite her apparent hardships in life, she seems to handle her issues very well. If anything, I’d say she has grown stronger because of it, which is a wonderful result to get out of something so unfortunate.”

“So bright… Like someone out of a fairytale.”

“Ahem, I suppose I could say that he is alright. I do wonder if he still does his informant job today. From what I know, salons can be strife with gossip, which makes for an ideal place to gather information. Otherwise, I don’t have any strong feelings towards him. He seems like a well-mannered man, if not a little flirtatious.”

“I can’t help but worry for Asagao-kun here. It’s good to have a strong opinion on things and it is even better to voice your thoughts openly. I just draw the line at marking up public property… It takes a lot of effort and money to clean it all up, which makes the artwork feel like a waste of effort. If he could put those talents into some other medium or look for people to actually hire him to decorate their property, perhaps then I could be more understanding of his hobbies.

“This team truly represent the westernization that Shibuya has gone through in the times since it had become a proper city. It isn’t surprising the team is composed of mostly young adults, with Hiroshi technically breaking that age range. I don’t really feel too excited to meet them, but I’m sure they’re wonderful team despite my first impressions of this group.”

Fleuret's Thoughts on Harajuku Division

Emiko Akaibara

"Azusa-san told me much about Emiko-chan. Un si charmant jeune enfant! Azusa was truly fortunate to have been able to collaborate with her. I've heard she works as an esthéticien. I shall have to remember to visit her on my next day off. It's been so long since I've had a pédicure!"

Hiroshi Sakura

"Hiroshi-san est vraiment un charmant et beau gentleman. However, I am a un peu confus on how I should feel about him. He means well, but I've heard that he is acquainted with Jyuto-san from Yokohama. Whilst I've nothing against him personally, I truly hope he is cautious in his dealings with Jyuto.

"Other than that, he seems to be a fine gentleman, as I mentioned. He even offered me a coupon to use the next time I visit his hair salon!"

Seiichi Asagao

"Like Azusa-san, I, unfortunately, did not get to become acquainted with Seiichi-kun, which is saddening. I heard that he seems to be a talented artist. ...But tis very strange. If he is an artist, why have I not heard of him before? ...Could it be that he is not that famous?"

In honor of International Women's Day, here's a question for the Harajuku team.

To Emiko, Hiroshi, and Seiichi:

What real-life woman would you say has inspired you, or that you respect for everything that they've accomplished and hope to emulate?

“Hmmmm, I’m not entirely sure…” Emiko pondered. “I actually don’t know much about things like this, but I’d have to say Ms. Coco Chanel!” She exclaimed with sparkles in her eyes!

“Chanel? Like the perfume brand?” Seiichi asked.

Emiko nodded her head excitedly. “She’s the actual founder and totally the real deal when it comes to fashion! She’s so amazing!” She bounced on her toes as Seiichi stared at her with a slightly confused look on his face.

Hiroshi laughed slightly at his leaders excitement before answering with his own response. “If there’s any lady I admire the most, I’d have to say the strong-minded Rosa Parks.” He said proudly. Emiko and Seiichi clapped in the background. “She was incredible!…”

“But what about you Seiichi?” Emiko asked, tilting her head to the side.

“Frida Kahlo.” He said bluntly.

“Now that’s a bit unexpected, but at the same time expected.” Hiroshi placed a hand under his chin curiously.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN UNEXPECTED?! FRIDA’S AN ABSOLUTE ICON IN THE ARTISTRY WORLD AND ONE OF THE GREATEST PAINTERS IN THE UNIVERSE SHES AMAZING!!” Seiichi ranted into an explosion of praise as everyone covered their ears.

“That’s not what he means Seiichi……” 😓

Yano’s Thoughts on Harajuku Division

“S-S-She’s cute. I’m not into fashion and stuff though, so I have never gotten the chance to meet her... I’d hate going into a battle against her. Not that I’m underestimating her! I would just hate it if I made her upset.”

Hiroshi Sakura

“Ah, it’s that super pretty guy! A long time ago I tried to redye my hair and I figured I should splurge at Harajuku when I saw Hiroshi… I couldn’t go in and I ended up running off. Ignoring me being a coward, I hear he’s informative like Lola from Saitama, so maybe running away was a smart idea. People who collect dirt on others are pretty scary in a whole new way…”

Seiichi Asagao

“A delinquent? Reminds me a bit of my old days… Of course, I was just being an annoying kid loitering around and spraying graffiti. I wonder if he has any interest in that sort of stuff. It’d make conversation with him a breeze! Otherwise, I can’t say I’ve really met him. He just sounds like an ordinary high school punk.”

Alley Catz

“Man, what better group of people could you gather to represent Harajuku… They’re all so pretty, it honestly feels unfair! I’d hate to beat them up in a rap battle, but at the same time I can’t back down from a challenge… If I have to face them, I can only hope that they’ll forgive us afterward. I want to have a friendly match, not a full-out war!”
