I tried to take some pointers from both Professional Courtesy as well as Mating Habits, you'll definitely recognise it. Keep a look out for the citation (yes, it's got a fake bibliography) of "Oughton, 1952".

This is genuinely one of the coolest things anybody's ever sent me and I'm so so thrilled by it. Graphs! Charts! The attention to detail!!!!!!!! Oughhhhhhhhhhh I've been going absolutely insane about this since you sent it to me and I'm certain I'll continue to go completely insane.

Trap scores a 68/84, but three questions (respiratory alterations, other bodily alterations, and developmental changes) aren't really applicable for him, so adjusted to ignore those three questions but end up with a score out of 84 that's a 79.3 - spot on by your chart! Super super neat and well thought out. The little touch of an acknowledgement for Gonzo and some really careful concealing of the fact that BJ, Trapper, and Hawkeye are all working at the same place is great. oughhhh going nuts about this.

Thoroughly recommend that anyone who enjoys the verse reads this, it's awesome.

This is the harsh reality for Mohammed Al-Habil, @alhabil, (#166). The prices for food and other basic necessities have increased on a hourly basis, making it impossible for him to purchase and have a proper meal for his family of 6. It also doesn't help that his 3 young children, Ahmed (8), Osama (6), and Mira (4) have been infected with scabies over the summer and they have still have it to this day! It would have been cured with antibiotics, but similar to the pricing of food, the prices for medication has been going up and up! This also includes insulin for his elderly parents as they are diabetics!

Thank you for helping Hashem @hashembadr reach his short term goal! He is now able to buy another tent for his large extended family to shelter in the winter. Hashem's young niece, Suham, is suffering from a lasting injury, which requires costly surgery to heal from properly. About a year ago, near the beginning of the war, Suham's arm was seriously injured. Due to relentless bombardment, displacement, and scarcity of medical supplies, Suham was not able to get the treatment that she needed as her arm was healing. Because of this, her bone welded incorrectly.

Suham needs surgery to correct the bone in her arm. The doctor advised that she get it soon, so her injury does not worsen or become harder to fix. However, the surgery is very expensive, costing around $4,700. Combined with the 30% transfer fees to withdraw the money, Hashem and his family need to raise another $6,110 (or £4,864) for Suham to recieve this vital surgery.

Suham is only a child. She has spent the last year injured, living through displacement, fear, and pain. Please, help her get the surgery she needs to heal her arm. Share and donate, anything you can give makes a difference.

The Belcher's gull (Larus belcheri) is found along the Pacific coast of South America. They typically measure 49 cm (19 in) in length. They have white underparts and head, greyish-black back and wings, yellow legs and feet, and yellow bill with a red and black tip. Their white tail has a distinctive broad black band. Outside of the breeding season, their head is dark with white eye crescents. They feed on fish, crabs, molluscs, and carrion, and seasonally on the eggs and nestlins of seabirds. The underside of their wings have black patches at the tips with white leading edges. They feed on mudskippers, crabs, fish, and worms, and steal food from other species of birds. Due to their declining population and dependence on saltmarshes dominated by seepweed, which are being drained for aquaculture, they are listed as vulnerable by the IUCN.

Oooooh project I'm currently writing on is Mating Habits, so obviously quite a lot to choose from there. Foxtrap loredump time

Trapper's nickname in this verse is pretty explicitly a reference to fur trapping over anything else. Specifically, he picked it up during his football days. It wasn't... great as a nickname, back then, usually accompanied with a tug on his ear or tail. But it was also, on some level, nice to have a nickname. Nice to be close enough to a group of people for long enough that they thought about him, even if it was in a less than stellar light. Also, king of compartmentalization, it was nice to be able to put all of John's trauma in a little box and ignore it, at least until he graduated college and nobody called him that anymore. That man has so many problems.

Hey people on Tumblr, I have a question for you : do you contribute to your community ? Do you take the initiative to make things better for the people around you ?

I’ve brought up many times about Shahed Abumousa. She’s a 20 year old Palestinian who is studying dentistry and she is doing her best to survive a whole year of horror and violence. Since October last year, she has gone through the bombing of her house, the multiple displacements, the hunger and thirst, the shootings and diseases.

Despite it all, Shahed has dedicated her time, energy, and effort for everyone around her. She has volunteered as medical aid when hospitals were being destroyed one by one, distributed food with her family when she is starving, and taught children who couldn’t go to school in between her classes. Speaking of which, she continues with her education to achieve her degree while fundraising for her family of 7 people’s survival and supplies for her students. She is carrying a lot on her shoulders when she is only 20!

I am asking you once again:, what are you doing for your community? The truth is that most people are doing the bare minimum, if anything at all. So if you want to make a difference, please donate and share. Your contribution will not only help Shahed and her family survive, but it will also help give back to her community. So give what you can because she's stagnating at the halfway mark that she reached only recently after 7 months. She deserves all of our support.

Honestly I don't think I have one 😭 wherever I can be to get left alone? which. isnt many places. i want to get out of my parents' house, man.

Basically the only place I've cut stuff rather than adding was in Mating Habits: Boston - Part Eleven and even then the cuts were pretty minimal, but I do have a paragraph that turned out slightly different in the end version:

[BJ] couldn’t find a pitcher in the kitchen, and there was no way he could carry three glasses of water along with the two raw eggs he’d carefully set in a mug for Trapper. He frowned at them, carefully considered his worries about salmonella, and decided that Trapper probably deserved a little bit of a treat given he was rapidly falling into his full heat. From BJ’s research, Trapper wouldn’t eat much the deeper he went, too focused on finding a mate, and… well, mating.
