She knew that he hadn’t wanted to be here.
Her mother and sister had managed to wiggle a dinner between themselves and the Clegane’s, no doubt an attempt to gain a marriage offer. Her mother made it loudly known that any marriage offer she got would be taken to get Lollys out from underfoot and stop her from embarrassing them further. She didn’t say anything as they spoke amongst each about how lucky they would be if they could get this, knowing that it wouldn’t happen.
Still when she met with Sandor she tried to give him a bright smile, but with the knowledge of how the dinner was going to go it was hard. Her mother and sister spoke over her as they talked to Sandor, making excuses for her looser clothing and the tangles that were still present at the ends of her hair. She could hear the words ‘lackwit’ and ‘dull’ a few times, ignoring it as she looked over the food offered. Despite what most thought Lollys was fairly thin under her dresses, often forgetting to eat or simply unable to handle the food brought to her. Her mother eventually had given up trying to sort what she could or couldn’t eat, and simply kept her on the blandest diet of food that tasted like dust but she could easily handle the texture of them better.
She could see some foods she knew she could handle eating, as well as a few new ones she had never tried before. Her plate was soon filled by a servant and Lollys took a moment separating out the foods that she knew she didn’t like from the ones she did and the new ones to try. Lollys didn’t feel bad for ignoring the conversation, knowing that her mother wouldn’t get what she wanted anyway. Humming to herself she tried one of the new foods, trying desperately not to make a face at the texture of it.
Pushing that to the side along with the other foods she didn’t like Lollys looked up when she felt eyes on her, and saw Sandor had noticed when she had done. Blushing gently she looked back at her plate, glancing up slightly to see if he had stopped paying attention to her again. When he was still looking she gave him a weak smile. “Yes?” She questioned, hoping her mother wouldn’t hear her talking.

@damselledove liked for a starter
Lollys knew what people said about her, about her being a lackwit or simple. She didn’t feel stupid, it was just that some things were harder for her to do. Words mixed up on her tongue and the words people said became jumbled in her head as she tried to understand them. She tried her best to be clear, but her mother and sister just kept her pushed away from everyone and alone.
But they also used her to get close to any opportunity, using her as a pity case. She knew of the multiple marriage offers rejected and people whispering about how old she was and still unmarried. And now her mother saw her as a chance to get close to the new boy king since his soon to be bride was alone with her family’s household declared traitors.
They whispered into someone’s ear that the girl needed someone to watch her, and that while Lollys was simple she didn’t know how to lie and thus meant she would tell the truth if Sansa was saying anything traitorous as well.
Her mother was wrong, Lollys lied every time she told the woman she loved her.
Still someone agreed to it and now Lollys would be staying with Sansa Stark as a friend and guard and supposed to be ears for others, but she didn’t feel like doing that.
Entering the room Lollys looked around, wondering if she would come into the girl crying because of what had just happened with her family and household. “My Lady Stark?” She called as she came further into the room. So far the rooms were silent and she came all the way in, chewing on her bottom lip and twisting her fingers around themselves.
“𝘔𝘺 𝘭𝘢𝘥𝘺??” Hopefully the girl was actually here, and her sister didn’t send her into someone else’s room as a joke.

" if a husband is what you seek, then… let me help you. " - Sy @pirateofbraavos for Lollys
"Oh no no no, my mother would never let that happen." Lollys laughed softly, shaking her head as she rocked slightly on the rail of the ship. She had gotten offered a tour of the ship by the captain and she took him up on it quickly. The captain was very sweet and funny, and Lollys was more then interested in learning why the ship was completely black.
"She believes that she's the only one who knows what's best." This was the most she had ever spoken to another person. Lollys didn't often speak to people, but the captain was able to pull the worlds out of her with his smile.

White…..he was wearing a white cloak. Lollys focused on that detail, taking in the snow white cloak that matched the dress she wore. Her mother had made a fuss over how expensive it had been to get a dress this white and how she wasn’t allowed to eat while wearing it even if she was starving.
If she was that worried she should’ve put her in a green gown instead, like what her sister wore.
“Lor…Ser Jamie.” Lollys curtsied clumsily, taking a step back to allow him more room at the rail. The other was a year younger than her if she remembered correctly, but he easily towered over her. She glanced back at the door he had come through, praying that the curtain had folded back into place to hide their escape. Her mother would have a whole moment if she saw her with the lord of such a high family, she would spend half the next year chasing Tywin for a marriage offer.
Never mind that Ser Jamie was a Kings guard and could not marry.
“Congratulations on the healthy birth of your nephew.” Her mother had almost broken a switch over her hands until she managed to recite this line and two variations of it without stuttering. Lollys looked back to the grounds of the castle, wishing she could escape all the way to the gardens. “I wish they had gotten better music.” It slipped out without her thinking of the consequences of judging the celebration of the new crown prince. The music was muted but it wasn’t gone, and she had only just calmed down.
@neithergodsnormen
The sound of merriment annoyed Jaime. He wasn’t always a stick in the mud, but on this occasion he had every right to be annoyed with the world. He’d recently returned from a visit to the Rock and what had occurred there… The young knight doubted that he would ever forgive himself for the lie he had told his brother, what he had allowed to happen to someone who had truly loved Tyrion. His mood was dark, not even to be lightened by the babe his sister was showing off to the whole of court.
Seeing everyone fawn over the young prince that was less than a year old seemed to sour his mood even more. He noted that Barristan was near enough to the royal family and silently slid out of sight. The last thing he wanted was his foul mood to be noticed by the rest of court. He took a deep breath as he found a balcony that he could slip away from everything onto. The last thing he expected was to see another who had slipped away unnoticed.
Lollys Stokeworth, the girl was only a year older than himself, was stood gripping the balcony. He wondered if she had chosen to be out here or if she had been told to remain from site. He remembered what was whispered about her, something that he oft wondered the truth of. Looking at her, she did not look be a lackwit as was rumored. In fact he could already see her looking at various escapes.
“There is no need to run, My Lady.” Jaime states, moving to the balcony himself, leaning on the rail that she seemed to be griping with purpose. A long sigh leaves the twenty year old knight and he looks over to her. “I did not mean to interrupt you, however, I needed a moment away from the merriment.”

@tymptir for Varys and Lollys
Varys talked in circles.
Lollys rather liked it, because they were soft circles. She knew that she didn’t understand half of what he really meant, but he never spoke to her as if she was stupid for not understanding him. Lollys once told him how he talked, and it was possible that her description of it amused him enough that he didn’t argue her company if she ever came along with him on a walk. She would ask him to talk about things and he would in his twisting way.
It was better than Baelish who spoke in spirals and made her head hurt. He wanted you to dig into the layers of his meanings, while Varys simply spoke and tested to see if you were able to pick it up. Lollys couldn’t, but many people couldn’t so she didn’t feel as bad.
She also knew that if she was near people didn’t really listen, figuring that she was to stupid to really be having a conversation with Varys. Sometimes he used that, having conversations with someone while Lollys was near him and seemed more open about what he was talking about. Lollys didn’t mind, seeing it as a chance to help someone instead of being a burden like her mother and sister always made her feel. Plus sometimes he had interesting teas from Essos for her to try, and through him she learned that she rather enjoyed the taste of tea.
Today they were in the main city, walking alongside each other as he had business to do and with her he could do it fairly openly. She had purchased one of the few sweets she could honestly stand from the bakery they passed and tucked in into a little pocket in her dress to have as a treat later. Humming to herself she looked around the city, seeing the smallfolk doing their job.
“I wonder if I would be happier as a smallfolk.” She said outloud, though not paying much attention to what was coming from her. “No one would expect anything from me. Though I probably wouldn’t be good at writing.” Writing was one of the few things she was very good at and she even had a few small books of poetry that she had written. Though no one really knew they were hers since she didn’t sign her name on them, only putting the letters “L.S” as a signature on them.

Her body felt heavy and light at the same time and it was upsetting. She knew things had been done to her and what the typical results of such actions were, but surely her mother would’ve forced moon tea down her before anything took root. It didn’t make sense with all of what she knew her mother felt about her to let her have anything like this happen. Lollys felt her mind race further, trying to pull what she could from the fog that she had spent possible….nine months laying in. She laid in her bed and stared at the wall where a mirror was hung and tried to see if there was any changes in her.
Lollys was used to her upset being ignored, so she had very much doubted any would come to investigate her sudden pained noise. Raising from the bed would have to be done on her own, along with bathing. She felt sweaty and like there was blood between her legs, as if it was her first moon’s blood all over again.
She had to tend to herself following that as well, and her mother had remained unaware for almost a year.
But a voice was at her door, she knew that voice. It was there yesterday when the pain was at its worst. It was all she could hear beyond her screams and while she hadn’t been able to understand the words due to the pain it was a source of comfort. Turning her head since it hurt to much to turn her body she blinked at the strange man in her doorway. In all of the fog she didn’t think his face swam into her vision at all, meaning he wasn’t one of the gold men that hurt her.
“It…I hurt. My stomach.” She could barely croak out the words, no one had given her water the day before when she stopped screaming. “My throat.”
@neithergodsnormen
Bronn had observed for some time the ways that Lollys was treated during the later stages of her pregnancy. Mental notes had been made about the things that set her off, and the one that he wasn’t entirely surprised about was the way in which she had reacted to the men of the Gold Cloaks. He’d already started to piece together what had happened to her during and after the riots when he had heard whispers of the City Watch stating an exact number on how many men had taken her.
There was stating that she had been raped, and there was stating she had been raped by half a hundred men. The number given is what had caught his suspicion, which was solidified when she refused to be dragged over the bridge into the Red Keep by men in gold cloaks. When he had been married to her, he noted that once again she had a dazed look to her. Less like a lackwit and more like a woman traumatized by those she thought would protect her. In his years as a sellsword he’d seen more of that then he could count.
He suspected that she was not as much an idiot as many made her out to be when he had found her journals when exploring the keep after they were married. While he could not read a lick of it, he could tell that they had different words throughout. When he’d asked Lady Tanda about them, she’d told him that they belonged to Lollys and he grew more and more curious about his new wife. When she’d started to scream upon going into labor, he had gone to see what he could do, in spite of the protests of the midwives and septas that attended to her.
When she had started to fight them, he’d climbed on the bed and held her against his chest. The women in the room had stopped complaining at that point. He doubted that his words had reached her ears with how much she had been screaming, her cries only being drowned out by her son’s. Whomever it was that had gotten her with child was dark haired, if the babe’s hair had been any indication. He could still remember Lady Tanda’s face when he had named the babe Tyrion.
The boy was close to a day old when he heard a yelp when he was in the corridor near Lollys’s room. Once he confirmed that no one else was going to go check on her, Bronn let out a sigh and entered her room. He stayed near the door when he saw her awake on the bed, not wanting to make her start to scream. “Is anything wrong, M’lady?”

Lollys meta
I will be writing Lollys as autistic.
There are to many hints in the story that she is, and in the story characters who are neurologically different are treated as lackwits.
While every autistic person is different I will be basing Lollys off of my partner’s brother and using what I see from him to guide my writing of her.
If I offend anyone with my writing of her please come tell me what you felt I did wrong so I can learn and better my writing

❝ i find i have…few friends lately. ❞ - Jaime to Lollys
"I....find myself never really having had friends." Lollys spoke softly, aware that many would be watching this odd interaction if anyone was to pass them. "It's not a fun life, but it's a life I'm used to."

@neithergodsnormen
Days and time had never been a talent for her, but Lollys was sure more time had passed then she really knew. Her body felt strange, a mix of heavy and light and she no longer felt the pressure in her stomach that had been there for a long while. Early she had felt such intense pain and pressure there and between her legs to the point she thought she was going to die. Her cries had been matched by something smaller and louder and then everything went silent around her. She knew a lot of people had been in her room at that moment but as far as she could tell now she was alone.
Lollys hadn’t felt quite right in some time, not since the riots had taken place. She tried not to think to much on that day but it cropped up unbidden and refused to be ignored. The memories were blurred by her terror and it helped blunt the sting of them but she still remembered the pressure of men on top of her in various orders and number and that suffocating gold that pressed on her at all angles and threatened to kill her as quickly as the men said they would if she ever spoke. Lollys knew no one would listen even if she did speak but the threats the men made kept her even quieter.
Time had obviously passed, though Lollys did remember coming out of her fog when they tried to get her across the bridge and into the castle. She could see that suffocating gold there and refused as strongly as she could against her mother and that mean servant girl who ignored her when she tried to tell her she didn’t like the food sent to her.
And that Lollys didn’t need to be force fed.
Still this time when she left her fog it seemed different and Lollys wondered if maybe she was finally waking up. It would be nice to be part of the world again and she felt maybe she could more easily put this in writing and help sort her thoughts out. Writing was easier then speaking and she hoped that if she could get access to her journals it would start helping. Sitting up in bed she couldn’t help a low yelp of pain as the pressure returned to her stomach and she flopped back into bed.

@neithergodsnormen for Jamie and Lollys
The world was far too loud.
It was some celebration or another and Lollys had been dragged into it by her mother and sister. The getting ready had been a fight, she had been held down by two guards so her hair could be fully brushed and she was forced into a silk gown. Both had over stimulated her to the points of screams and tears, and the feeling of silk whenever she touched her gown made her fingers burn and twitch. Lollys couldn’t speak by the time they came to the castle, her brain a twisting mess and she was trying hard not to cry again.
There was no release at the party, everyone there and loud and the music playing in a grating fashion. She supposed that for others it was a pleasant tune, but with how stimulated she was already she could hear every pull of the reed across the strings and it was setting her teeth on edge. Her fingers kept twisting around each other no matter how many times her mother slapped them down and hissed at her to stop doing such. Eventually she was moved from their table and into a corner to be left alone until she could behave, and she knew that most would avoid her.
Rocking and twisting her fingers Lollys tried to calm herself, eyes tightly closed and she hummed tunelessly to block out the sounds of the music. Looking around she noticed that no one was looking at her in return, and she took the opportunity. Fleeing from the table and the sound she walked as quickly as she could outside to one of the balconies, taking a deep breath and choking on a little cry as the silk of her dress brushed her hand again. Lollys rubbed her hands on the railing, trying to chase away the feeling.
It took a long while, but eventually she was able to get her breath back enough to simply rock herself, hands curling around the railing so she couldn’t touch her gown again. Now focused outward instead of inward she looked over when the balcony was opened again, sinking into herself in worry that whoever it was had been sent by her mother and was going to grab at her to drag her to them again.
