My first language is Gàidhlig; later in my life, I learned English when I wanted to move from the Scottish isles, where I grew up. So, if you have a DnD/OC character influenced by Celtic Myth/Gaelic culture, I am happy to give advice and commentary.

I have been roleplaying/writing since about 15/16, so I have a few years of writing experience creating OCs and writing out RP Ideas. I went on an extended hiatus as I finished university and took time off to deal with my mental health as I settled into a new routine. RPers Sought via Discord

I am seeking canon x canon ships for fandoms via discord. This will be a 1x1 situation. I am happy to double! For my ships, please reach out for information as many are crack/unusual. I do tend to stick to MxF romances but if we're doubling up and one pair is MxF, I'm open to adding a same-sex pair. When I double, I use a word counter to make sure posts are equal. I don't require this of my partners as long as they look similar in effort. Should favoritism begin to appear, I'll express concerns but if it happens often, I'm going to end the RP.

My posts tend to be several paragraphs (I guess the term might be novella or advanced literate) in third person, past tense. When on Discord, it's not unusual to take a few messages to complete my post but I do indicate with a (c or cont) if it's continued and end with an (end) to indicate that it's all complete. Due to post sizes being lengthy, I tend to give about 2-3 posts a week. Often more but I would say that's a pace I'm happy with getting from a partner. We all have lives. I'm not going to hound anyone to post unless it's been like, a month. People get busy or bored. It happens. That said, I love a lively OOC where we get to know one another and converse freely even if posts come at a slower pace. I'd rather hear about disinterest and work to fix it, than have resentment or complacency build behind the scenes.

NSFW stuff is bound to happen within moderation and with proper development. My RPs are very gradual, slow burn. I'm in this for the long haul and I expect my partner to be as well. Communication ensures longevity and interest.

literally so rude to restrict me like this oh my goodness smh. Well, in an RP context, I am always cheered up by getting replies back, or getting things in the inbox, etc. It's nice to feel the gears in my brain turning and churning out new ideas, and even though writing is sometimes time consuming for me, I am always glad to have something to sit down and write. I do a lot of solo writing as well, and the thing I like about RP is the collaboration and the sense of excitement that comes with seeing what my partner has written for me, and what that can spark for me to write for them in return.

I also always smile at the random ooc chatter - all of it, honestly, but as it relates to RP in specific, just the little 'this reminded me of your/our muses' kind of stuff. Random social media posts that fit The Vibe, kiss fanart that sort of looks like the characters, whatever it is, it's nice to know that someone is going about their regular day and then sees something and goes "oh this reminds me of this RP thing with Bryn so I'll send it to her." It's very sweet and it always gives me a mood boost.

The biggest thing about DR specifically, in comparison to some of the other fandoms I've been in, is how WILDLY centralized it is (or at least, how it seems to me) around a small group of characters. I think it's normal for some characters to be more popular than others, but in every other fandom that I've personally written in, I've seen way more diversity of characters being portrayed. For example, I wrote a lot in the Fire Emblem: Three Houses fandom for a while on my other blog, which is a game with 25ish "main" characters and maybe an additional 15-20 secondary characters, and in the time I was there, I saw almost every one of those characters written by someone, and even characters that I would consider unpopular written by multiple people all the time.

With Danganronpa, my experience has been that there is a core of maybe a dozen or so popular characters (most of whom are male characters) who get written a ton, and then the rest of the cast is mostly not written. I think that's sad given how the franchise has so many characters who are very interesting, or could benefit a lot from being lovingly written by someone with a vested interest in fleshing out their lore and story. I think maybe the way that Danganronpa the game handles the player's interaction with the characters (FTEs are player-driven, so if you aren't interested in a character up front, you might never learn more about them due to not seeking them out) and the fact that the nature of the killing game means characters get unequal screen time due to, you know, dying makes people gloss over a number of characters, which I think is a shame.

Hahaha I mean you and I have a long list of things and ideas already, don't we? Beyond that, though, I am interested in doing more ship stuff, but it's difficult because I am admittedly someone who is slow burn and not quite aligned with a lot of popular shipping norms. I'm also interested in incorporating queerness as a topic in-character, letting characters talk about their experiences and ground them a little in those experiences and feelings beyond just handwaving away "well it's escapism so it's fine."

Eventually, it would be nice to use more of my characters, as well - more threads with some of my secondary or request-only character, in situations or canons where it makes sense for them to be there. Then again, it's gotta be the right vibe for me to sustain writing those characters and being passionate about the interactions, so I'm reluctant to push them forward for things. At the end of the day, I'm less interested in writing specific things than I am in writing interactions that have the sort of long-term character and plot developments that really get me invested.

Forgotten Memories: A FE:3H OC Roleplay

Hi! My name is Dan, and I'm the head admin for a Fire Emblem: Three Houses OC 18+ Roleplay group on Discord. I'm writing here to seek anyone with a FE:3H OC who's interested in a larger-scale group RP! ➲ Diame will share medical information from her world if she feels driven to, and she will definitely be getting the urge to when she sees how set back medicine is in another world. She would love to at least teach the people of Fódlan about the cells that work hard for their bodies.

➲ If one were to look closely at her, her left nostril is pierced. Usually she has a silver hoop. Her ear lobes are also pierced.

➲ When very flustered, her English will be messed up.

➲ With France (Francis) and Britain (Arthur) being her closest neighbours, they are also the biggest pains in her ass.

➲ Diame doesn’t drink due to what happened the last time she got her hands on it. She doesn’t remember much of what happened before waking up face down on a beach in Punta Mita with her nostril pierced and the faces of North Italy (Feliciano) and South Italy (Romano) tattooed on each of her hips. There were tons of new contacts on her phone she didn’t remember adding, most of which were people she got overly chatty with in a casino bathroom. Some of the friends she made sent her interesting items in the mail, only puzzling her further. While she had the tattoos removed, she kept the piercing.

➲ Diame very often wears gloves due to an insecurity regarding her hands. Some, especially Francis, have made fun of them for not looking so feminine.

➲ If she sees a raccoon, she will want to keep it. But that’s the case for a lot of other animals as well.

➲ She’s afraid of heights.

➲ She’s also insecure about her shoulder width.

➲ She has a prominent collarbone.

➲ She doesn’t know how to use musical instruments. Her priorities were elsewhere for the longest time so she never got around to it.

➲ She loves wearing headbands.

➲ Despite regeneration doing a lot of touch ups, she still has some scars from World War II on her back. On that note, she was a member of the Allies.

➲ She still has her 1924 Chrysler Model B-70, and in good condition!

➲ Diame has a recessive blue eye allele and blonde hair allele from her mother, making it possible for her to pass those traits should she have children.

➲ After her parents passed, Diame would still set up plates at the table for her parents, just in case they came back. The child continued to do that for a while, struggling to accept that they were really gone.

➲ Even in another world, Diame slips away to embark on her own side quests. The people of Fódlan may not be her own, but they are people regardless and she will help them out. This includes but is not limited to finding and bringing home victims of abduction, taking out bandits, bringing back stolen items, getting people to medical attention they need, acting as a vigilante guard on some nights, etc. This has earned her a few enemies. She’s even got into a couple of scrapes with the Death Knight.

➲ Diame is handy with a lasso.

➲ She likes looking stylish for every occasion, if she can help it. She even has a huge selection of sleepwear.

➲ She claims to have first gotten in touch with her party animal side during the 1920s.

➲ Her curls are natural, and a trait most likely passed from her grandmother.

➲ She allows a lot of cats to crawl into her bed and sleep with her.

➲ Her memories from the Black Death pandemic make her even more jumpy when it comes to rats.

➲ She can still dance the Charleston pretty smoothly.

➲ Jokesters beware: her reflexes make her slap anybody who attempts scaring her. And her slaps tend to leave a mark for a good while.

➲ When she calls somebody a “loser,” it’s out of affection.

➲ She hates tea, but she loves coffee.

➲ She will sneak off to enjoy a peaceful swim.

➲ She’s explored more of the Paris Catacombs than is considered legal.
