Even though she had never anticipated to have this kind of conversation with any of her siblings, least of all Aemond, Nyra was not displeased by it. In truth, it helped her prepare for the future with her own children and she liked to think that this was a good step into the right direction when it came to her relationship with her siblings. She wasn't always the older sister they needed, given she was very preoccupied with her own family most of the time and had prioritized them in the past, but that didn't mean she wasn't always willing to make time and space for the other three. Her relationship with her father and Alicent be damned, it didn't extend to her half siblings. They were just kids and had no part in all of the drama that had transpired years ago.
"Good, yeah. Always important", she said and nodded, when he spoke about the lesson they had learned at school, before smiling when she could genuinely see his face light up at the mention of Helaena. No matter what was going on in their family, Helaena was and always remained a ray of sunshine. She was certainly peculiar in her own way, but such a genuinely kind, caring and gentle girl that everyone just had to love her. And it was obvious that both of her brothers cared deeply for her, because even Aegon softened around his sister. Rhaenyra loved to have her at the house, because she was always happy to play with the boys and never stopped talking about things she was interested in. Sometimes Nyra wondered if at home no one listened to her, so she was happy when she came over and could just babble on. Alicent didn't give off the vibe that she particularly cared for Helaena's niche interests.
"Perhaps you should tell Helaena, so that she doesn't get worried", Rhaenyra suggested, knowing that the younger sister was quite perceptive. "Snacks is a great idea. We should go grab some later. I'll have to drop by the store anyway to stock the fridge for more people, so we can grab whatever you and Helaena like to snack on." In all honesty, Nyra loved having a full house. She loved opening the doors to everyone she held dear and have them around as often as possible, because that had been the kind of home her mother had created while she was still alive. Back then, friends and family had always come over, they had spent the summers at lake houses together and all holidays had been special. Everyone was always welcome and had felt comfortable around Aemma, which was something Rhaenyra tried to emulate as well. "Do you want to go take a shower or something in the guest room? There are clothes in the closet there that should fit you until you get your own stuff. I was planning to go to the store in around an hour."
Rhaenyra mentioning that he’d never really showed interested in girls made Aemond nod slowly. It wasn’t that he didn’t think girls were pretty, he really did. But before yesterday, he had never considered anyone in the way he was now. Was it because they’d been getting closer as friends for so long, or because he was a boy, Aemond didn’t know. Honestly he felt that in general, he wasn’t one to easily be interested in anyone. While Aegon was in general one to search for affection and sex rather openly, Aemond felt uneasy about those things most of the time. Other than Aegon and Helaena, he felt uneasy in general about people touching him.
Nonetheless, he smiled and nodded slowly. “Hmhmm, yes … it does feel good.” He mused, thinking. Wondering if that was what it was. Love at first sight. Sure, he’d known him for a while now, and he’d had a click with him from the start. But he couldn’t help but wonder if he even knew enough about love to know what it was. “And yes, yes … we actually had someone come speak at school about how consent is key and that it’s always allowed to say no so …” He took a deep breath. It was surreal to be talking about this stuff, let alone with Rhaenyra.
Who is the lucky guy?
At that question, Aemond’s eye flitted back down to the table, feeling nervous again all of a sudden. “Uh … it’s Aerion. Aerion Snow.” He spoke, beginning to fiddle with his fingers again, though when he heard about the plans of Helaena coming over, he couldn’t help but smile and eagerly accept the change of subject. “Oh, I don’t mind that one bit. It will be good to see her. She wasn’t home yesterday when it happened and I haven’t told her or Aegon yet. I bet they’re wondering why I’m not home. Unless mother told them, but somehow I doubt it…”
It wasn’t that their family was bad exactly, they just … didn’t really know how to handle things in general. His mother, though he was certain she held some kind of love for her children, she was hardly any good at showing it. And their father, well … that was even more complicated. In fact, his siblings were the only people he had felt close with. So a movie night with his sisters was something he was actually feeling pretty good about. “I saw Ants at school once actually, I liked it and I’m pretty sure that Helaena will love it. We should make sure to have snacks …”

Day Off || F1 Grid
cw: nothing but superficiality, cuteness, intimate but not obscene moments, sharing moments, mention of gossip. Just pilots resting
starring: LH44, CS55, CL16, LN4, OP81, MV1
a/n: I had this written a couple of days ago, but Tumblr just "ate" the only file I had and I lost everything. I was so mad I didn't even want to write anymore, but damn, This is too good a HC to waste, so okay, let's try again (remembering to save periodically this time 🫡
LEWIS HAMILTON:
You and Lewis had created a reading list to complete throughout the year, you bet there were about a hundred books on the list, titles ranging from classic literature, biographies, poems, and contemporary literature. Books that you and Lewis wanted to read together or the books you thought the other should read.
So it was common for the two of you to spend the pilot's day off reading in bed while listening to blues or jazz on the speakers. You read together, wrote reviews of the books you read and discussed them.
He was reading Percy Jackson and the Mark of Athena and you were reading Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.
"So? What did you think?" He asked, marking the page he was on, Lewis had just started the last chapter and you had already finished reading.
"He does go through a metamorphosis and it's extremely unpleasant to imagine, but I've read more unpleasant books," you confessed, putting the book on the bedside table. "Four stars, and you?"
He snorted "Piper is so boring, damn she only knows how to think about Jason and how she doesn't like being the daughter of Aphrodite, so boring"
"God, yes! I don't like her either... Anyway, I'll wait for you to finish, and then we can choose the next one."
"Sure, honey," he kissed her temple and returned to reading just as Etta James began to sing "At Last." You settled into it, petting Roscoe as he lay beside you. This is the best way to enjoy your day off.
CARLOS SAINZ:
Carlos was at a stage where he wanted you to learn golf to play with him, after all the sport was a tradition for him and the Spaniard wanted you to be part of it, but you were terrible. You were really bad at golf, but that didn't make he want to teach you any less.
And well, you didn't like golf either, you didn't understand the sport, the scoring was weird, there were at least half a dozen different clubs and you couldn't even cheer.
But at least the clothes were cute and the cars were cool.
"Let's go, amor, I'll teach you," he said, going to pick you up in the golf cart. Lando, who was accompanying them this time, leaned his body on the golf club, waiting.
"Carlos, I'm terrible at this, you know," you grumbled, taking the bat he offered you. Carlos was a persevering man, you had to admit. He stood behind you, teaching you again how to perform the shot, instructing you to separate your legs and take a deep breath.
"I bet you five bucks she'll throw the ball in the lake"
"Shut up, Lando," you both said.
You followed his instructions and hit the ball...
...that fell into the lake.
"I knew"
"Shut up, Lando"
CHARLES LECLERC:
A day off for Charles meant you would get to visit his favorite spots, from a famous restaurant to a little coffee shop tucked away in a city alley. Sometimes he would take you to the south of France to see some chateau, other times he would just rent a chalet for you to be together in privacy, and you had lost count of how many times they had gone to Italy to see the vineyards and villas on the border with Monaco.
This time, you were preparing for a slightly longer itinerary, you had suggested visiting the Grace Kelly exhibit before heading to the cottage he had rented for the weekend.
"Got everything you need, mon cher?" He asked, wrapping his arms around her waist in a sweet hug.
"It depends, I know we're going to see the Grace Kelly exhibit, but I have no idea where we're going after, you say a cottage and I don't know whether to bring a bikini or coats" you mumbled, looking at her handbag.
"Take both just in case, you know spring can have unpredictable weather"
"Are you saying that so you don't give me a hint about where we're going?" You turned in his arms, facing the pilot. "That's not fair."
"You'll like it, mon ange, I promise"
"At least tell me if it's still in Monaco..." You tried to persuade him, sliding your nails lovingly along his chin, making the Monegasque shiver and let out a heavy breath.
"You're not taking me to the siren song, pretty girl." He gave you a quick kiss and a light slap on your ass before leaving. "We'll leave in fifteen minutes."
LANDO NORRIS:
Lando's downtime with you was spent playing games, you thought it was counterproductive to fuel his competitiveness when he should have been resting, but this routine of games with you made him much calmer and more relaxed when he returned to work. Ironic? Yes, but it worked.
You two played anything, Monopoly, Naval Battle, Game of Life, Detective, W.A.R, Uno, even checkers or cards. Any game was fair game.
The problem is that you got really competitive, your friends even gave up trying to play with you because the game turned into a battlefield.
"You lowlife cheater, did you really throw a +4 at your fiancée?!" You yelled at him, Lando laughed and blew you a kiss before dodging the pillow you threw at him.
"You know how things work, honey. Just because I love you doesn't mean I'm going to let you beat me."
"This will come back!" You bought the four cards he forced you to. "I really hate you."
"And you are the love of my life"
"Die, you jerk," you snapped and he laughed.
Lando could feel all the tension leaving his shoulders, playing with you always made him relax, no matter how aggressive and passionate you became in the game.
OSCAR PIASTRI:
Considering that Oscar was always traveling and there were few really usable pages in his schedule, any time the two of you could have together should be taken full advantage of, and For both of them, there's nothing better than an afternoon of movies.
You two had created a list of movies on Letterboxd and the chosen one of the day would be Interstellar.
Oscar was making popcorn while you were arranging the blankets and pillows on the couch, so what if it was the height of summer in Australia? There in the apartment, the air conditioning was hovering below fifteen degrees, keeping the room at a favorable climate for you and your boyfriend to cuddle while watching astronauts lost in space.
"I thought you were going to choose Anatomy of a Fall," he muttered, placing the food on the coffee table, popcorn with cheese, assorted snacks, chocolates and ice cream and of course, lemon soda.
"I was dubious, but you know I love any movie that has Matthew McConaughey in it," you said, getting under the covers, accompanied by Oscar, "and of course, The movie's soundtrack is perfect, I use it to study..."
"Have you watched it?"
"No, I was waiting for you, but I discovered the playlist... I'll send you the link, you'll love it"
He hummed in agreement and you pressed play on the movie, Many times you paused the film to comment on something or express your theories. It made the movie session better, Oscar didn't mind listening to you talk about it and you loved his theories.
It was, without a doubt, the best way to enjoy the break.
MAX VERSTAPPEN:
He would rather be playing, sleeping or, I don't know, watering the plants, but you always dragged him to a skin care session. You spread different creams on his face, plucked some extra hairs from his eyebrows, trimmed his beard.
As much as he denied it, Max learned to enjoy it, being taken care of by you was one of his guilty pleasures. And it all got better when you started gossiping without any trace of shame. He talked about what went on behind the scenes in F1 and you shared news about work and your condominium.
"I'm still sad that Logan was let go, he had a lot of future," you said, sliding the massage stone across his face, spreading the serum into his skin.
"He's a good kid, unfortunately he wasn't ready for Formula One yet, he came in too early and couldn't adapt well... I hope he can find his place" he grumbled, sighing at the gentle massage on his cheekbones.
"Yes... Williams was very ungrateful to him and I won't elaborate on that" you said a little bitterly and Max laughed, you always positioned yourself as a defender of the poor and oppressed.
"Yes... I won't elaborate on that either... It's better"
You both were silent until you clicked your tongue.
"Uh, I almost forgot to tell you, last week there was a horrible fight at the condominium meeting.
He opened his curious eyes "You can tell me everything, dear"
"The neighbor at 1165 caught her husband with the building manager and the building manager's husband in her bed"
"What the fuck?! Are you kidding?!"
You laughed, putting away the massage stone and sliding your fingers firmly over Max's face "you had to see it, she put together a PowerPoint with photos and screenshots of the conversations"
Max laughed out loud "damn, I wish I had seen..."
"It was a real fight, they argued and everything, it was really fun to watch"
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"I will definitely go to the next condo meeting"

Kitten love?
pairing: theodore nott x reader
warnings: fluff, the word slag once (not to a human) this was supposed to be comedic
summary: 🐈❤️🐈⬛
“How many times have i told you to keep your rabid horny cat away from mine how many more times am i going to say this nott?” you scoffed placing the black cat into theodore’s arms “I walked in and he was fucking humping her”
“well maybe if your stuck up princess of a cat stopped rubbing her ass on him, he wouldn’t go after her” he retorted
“what are you trying to say nott!”
“that your cat is a slag”
you gasped and were about to retaliate, before his friends intervened.
“alright, that’s enough of that, theodore you keep teddy away from….” pansy paused for a second
“cleo”
“away from cleo” she continued “and cleo stays away from teddy”
“fine by me!” you agreed
“me too”
“then that’s sorted”
…
That was infact not sorted
Theodore was sitting in the common room with his friends when he heard someone stomping in quite violently. He turned and saw you red in the face while a panicked hermione tried desperately to calm you.
Once your eyes locked with his it was like something snapped in your brain and you lunged for him.
People perked up watching as you tried to inflict harm on the slytherin boy
“Bloody hell, you’re crazy get off me!” he was laughing
“You can go to hell!” you were shouting at him “Why are you laughing!”
“You’re cute not to think i can’t have you on your back in seconds”
“Fuck you! and Fuck your mangy cat”
“Okay that’s enough” he grabbed your wrists and pinned you on the ground “why are you attacking me?”
everyone around the room watched the commotion silently
“My Cleo…”
“yeah?” he urged
“my cleo is…”
“for gods sake, what happened to your cat”
“She’s been impregnated!” you shouted struggling under him.
He paused for a second before the sound of laughter broke his thoughts, he looked up to where his friends + hermione were all trying and failing to surpress their giggles.
“Has she taken a test?” he ask
“She’s not a fucking human theodore, i told you to keep your animal away from mine and now look what’s happened” you pushed him to the side and stood up “hermione let’s go”
…
You were walking with harry, ron and hermione in the corridors when you heard your name being called.
You turned and came face to face with an out of breath theodore.
“Can i help you?”
“I’ve been- trying- to find you- all week!” he breathed out
“well here i am”
“listen, i need you to dig deep into your cold heart and find it in yourself to allow my cat to see yours”
“absolutely not”
“what’s wrong with you? this isn’t romeo and juliet, they are animals, my cat has been walking around aimlessly trying to find yours, have a heart” he snickered. “let him be a good dad”
“They way you guys are talking about these cats, you’d think they were real people” ron scoffed
“Fine, bring tony to my dorm after dinner”
“teddy” he corrected you
“yeah fine teddy”
“thanks love, appreciate it” he winked “see you after dinner”
…
That’s how you found yourself watching two cats reunite. It was as of you were watching a romantic film (but with cats)
“See, this is what you were in the way of” theodore snickered
“don’t make me regret my decision theodore” you scowled before the room fell into a comfortable silence
“i guess it is quite sweet” you smiled watching as cleo begun rubbing her face on teddy.
Theodore chuckled, and then, with a more serious tone, he said, "You know, maybe there's something to learn from Cleo and Teddy
you raised an eyebrow. "What are you saying, Nott?"
His gaze met yours, and he hesitated for a moment before speaking, "How about you let me get to know you?"
you found yourself contemplating the idea. After a brief pause, a smile crept across your face, and you agreed before turning your attention back to the cats on your bed, who had now comple te ly warmed up to each other.
…
One particularly sunny afternoon you were sat by the lake, cleo, who was quite big now, lay peacefully next to you keeping you company while you tried to study for your upcoming charms assignment.
you were stuck on a particularly hard question and when you decided to look up, you saw that the spot next to cleo was now occupied with her favourite cat, teddy.
you had warmed up to him after seeing him with your cleo so much. You reached your hand out to stroke him before a loud noise startled you.
You turned and saw theodore hysterically laughing.
“That was the most unfunny thing ever” you tried your hardest to hide your smile, but failed nonetheless.
“Yeah well, i got you to smile” he took a seat next to you.
“Well, can i help you?” you asked
“yeah” he smiled “you can talk to me”
“god you sound so lonely Theodore”
“well your cat has clearly gotten mine under mind control, he doesn’t even sit with me anymore”
you laughed
“can i tell you something” he asked “i feel like we are at this point in our friendship where you won’t kill me”
“who knows…” you shrugged with a faint smile on your lips.
“I purposefully let teddy near cleo”
“What?! why” you tried to be angry, but you honestly didn’t really mind the two cats near each other anymore
“because my favourite part of the week, was when you would come and give him to me, even if you were fuming half the time” he snickered
“that’s… really sweet”
he looked away from you and smiled.
“can i tell you a secret” you moved infront of him
“hm”
“every time i saw your cat, i’d be happy”
“why’s that?”
“cause it meant i’d get to talk to you… well shout but still”
he leaned forwards and grabbed you by the waist slowly pulling you closer towards him “can i tell you another secret” he whispered
“yes” you were slowly leaning towards him
he smiled and leaned into your face catching your lips in a sweet kiss.
“i think you should let me take you out”

A Love that Burns
Marcus Acacius x f!reader
A/n: You don’t understand the chokehold this man has on me ughhhhh. Anyway I hope you guys enjoy, I wrote this very fast!
Pairing: Marcus Acacius x wife character (I usually do x reader but I really like the name Aurelia so I used that!)
Warnings: fluff, angst, arranged marriage, Curse words, mention of fire, minor injuries, burns. A bit of suicidal ideation. Allusion to smut hehe. 18+ to be safe please. No minors!!
Summary: General Marcus Acacius’s new bride is troublesome, he doesn’t seem to mind though. After an incident occurs she pulls away from him and he can’t figure out why.
****************************************************
“He’s going to be furious…”
“Such a shame…do you think he’ll throw her out?”
“He might… we always knew she was trouble but this time she’s gone too far…”
“Poor dear, I doubt even her father will take her back…”
The roaring flames had long since died down, leaving now only crackling embers and dark clouds of smoke. How much time had passed you didn’t know. You hadn’t moved from the ground, knees planted on the hard stone, eyes glued to the scene before you.
What was once a grand structure, beautifully carved and molded for someone equally as impressive was now nothing more than a pile on the ground and it was completely your fault.
How had wanting to get a book out of your husband’s study and lighting a candle to see had gone so wrong?
You should’ve listened to your conscious, it told you that you shouldn’t go into your husbands private building but you knew he had an extensive selection and while you were newly married, barely even a few months he was your husband and you didn’t really think he would mind.
In the short time you were married the general had been accommodating and civil, more than civil actually, he had been doing his best to make you feel comfortable. That being said you did barely see him at times due to his duties and when you did it seemed all you did was cause him trouble.
Like that time you accidentally visited the animals one early morning when you were bored and didn’t shut the door behind you. Acacius had been abruptly woken up by the clucking of chickens ascending the staircase and running around the halls like it was a party. You had been redder than a pomegranate when you realized your mistake.
Or that time you lost your wedding necklace and spent hours wading in the lake where the laundry was washed thinking it fell there. You’d never forget the feeling when Acacius strode through the gates in tow with fellow commanders for a meeting but everyone froze seeing the comical sight of you, a highborn lady dress pulled up and soaking wet. That time made you want to drown yourself right then and there.
Oh and how could you forget the time you wanted to show your appreciation by baking his favorite dessert according to the maids and thought adding some cinnamon you’d bought in town was a good idea. Not even bothering to wonder why the kitchens didn’t have cinnamon in the first place… turns out the reason was a good one, the general had an allergy.
This time it was his face that was redder than yours… you didn’t face him for days after that..
There were so many moments like that but somehow each time he didn’t get angry like you expected. He didn’t yell or scold you.
When you bit your fingers nervously watching the servants try to catch the chickens he slowly walked out, surveyed the scene in what you could guess was mild disbelief and perhaps a bit of amusement, looked at you then turned back to go back to sleep.
When you were soaked in the lake he quickly regained the men’s attention, led them inside then a few minutes later reappeared with some haste. You didn’t get a chance to protest when he stepped in and pulled you out by your arm. Still he didn’t yell, he did start to scold a bit though because you were shivering, but when you suddenly yelped and squirmed reaching in your dress and pulled revealing a flopping fish with your necklace around it he lost all his words. You celebrated while he just started in disbelief.
And when you literally poisoned him you sobbed beside him as the healer frantically gave him several mixtures and an injection of some sort. You apologized over and over like a parrot. When he could finally breathe again, he closed his eyes exhausted but said, “Don’t cry, it tasted great..”
All those times he was so kind, unlike any other man you’d met before. To think you had been so afraid of the arranged marriage and now all you could think was how he deserved someone so much better.
He was older and saw you as a child you were sure of it. You wished you could act like the other wives, but you just couldn’t.
Your eyes glazed watched the flickers before you as if in a trance.
You’d burned his favorite place in the villa. A building constructed years ago that served as his study, his place of comfort, his safe space. He’d showed it to you when you first got married. You’d been amazed at how beautiful it was on the inside.
You could see on his face how this place made him relaxed compared to the rest of the villa.
And now it was gone..
The whispers of the servants were muffled around you but you caught them all the same.
You couldn’t find the strength to move, maybe you should have at least moved back, away from the falling ash and debris but you couldn’t.
You ruined everything, just like always…
There was some more muffling amongst the crackling, some sounds you didn’t register, couldn’t register… then a sharp yell. A tone you didn’t recognize.
“Why is she-!”
There was pressure on your shoulders but still you couldn’t look away.
All gone… all your fault…
You think you heard something loud but couldn’t understand it.
The pressure increased… so did the shouting but still you couldn’t look away.
It wasn’t until you saw the burnt pile get smaller that you realized you were being pulled- no carried away.
You felt so disoriented, everything in your vision jerking and you realized whoever was moving you was running.
The scene was still in view but further away, your eyes not daring to look away. You did however register that you abruptly stopped moving and were sat on something upright. The pressure returned to your head then arms then body.
Yelling, someone was yelling in your ear but it wasn’t until the pressure reached your face and you were forced to look away from the scene.
Eyes, wide and frantic, searched yours. Lips opened and shouted something you still could not understand. But the face you knew all too well. The one you wronged, the one you did a horrible misdeed to. Acacius.
You inhaled loudly, more of a gasp then coughed. Suddenly you felt everything crash into you at once, from when you were numb a moment ago now you burned in pain, lungs on fire, skin itchy and stinging, eyes feeling like the sun itself were upon them. You coughed and sputtered uncontrollably, breathing a foreign concept to you.
His strong hands at your back and arm. Almost cradling you was a strong contrast to his shouts that you could now hear louder than ever.
“Breathe, easy, easy- Dammit why did no one move her! Call the healer now!” He barked behind him.
Angry he was angry. Of course he was, even gentle and kind men like him had limits, limits that you’d crossed by battlefields.
Hot tears came, still you coughed, you wondered how long you could continue like that before losing consciousness, there were already spots in your vision. The sobbing now made it worse.
“Shh shh breathe it’s alright, just breathe for me wife, all is well, shh look I’m here, you’re safe” he pulled you into his lap holding you firmly in the hopes you’d calm down. He kept whispering to you, pleading and eventually the coughing stopped. You wondered how much more smoke it would’ve taken to kill you…
“That’s it, you’re safe, shh just breathe, I’m here” more tears emerged as you registered his words for the first time. How horrible you felt to have this angel of a man cradling you and comforting you when you just burned down his sanctuary.
It would have been easier on your heart had he yelled and thrown you aside.
“The healer is here!” Someone called out, your eyes were closed on his chest but you heard everything around you.
Swiftly you were lifted in his arms and carried to his chambers. The healer immediately got to work peeling back the fabric you only now noticed was dark as ash and singed in many places. Acacius stood behind her as close as he could without getting in her way. You watched as his eyes scanned your form, concern etched as he took in all the burns and scrapes. Your heart couldn’t handle it, he deserved a woman 100times better than you. You shut your eyes of the heartache ignoring the healer telling you to stay awake, moments later you were unconscious.
**************************************************
Stinging pain roused you, you wanted to cry out because your body was screaming at you. You were alone in the room, but by the moonlight shining through and how exausted you felt you didn’t think you had been unconscious long. Fresh tears escaped and you didn’t bother to wipe them.
You sat up in raw agony realizing just how many injures you sustained. Your skin was covered in loose bandages and shiny from salve. Sitting so close at the time you didn’t feel anything but clearly you were affected.
Shouting from below had your head whipping to the window.
With great effort and pain you stood on shaky legs and approached the opening peeking your head outside, you squinted and saw figured in the yard.
You choked out a sob when you realized what was happening. Acacius was yelling… yelling at the servants and guards for not moving you. Yes they put out most of the fire but didn’t bother with you. You hardly blamed them, you were a burden, an embarrassment of a lady to the great house hold. Perhaps they wanted you to die, actually it would have been easier if you did.
You couldn’t bare to listen to it anymore, guilt eating you alive. For some reason you had to see it again. To confirm what you had done…
You ignored all the pain and like a ghost descended the staircase.
When you reached the bottom you sucked in a breathe before walking forward where the smell of smoke was still heavy and thick.
And there it was, like a brand on your heart the scene of your crime. There were no more embers, just wood and ash. You walked closer until you stepped on something.
You moved your sandal revealing a silver medal covered in soot. You remembered how proudly it hung on one of the walls. And now it was beneath rubble and dirt.
Two hands found your mouth as you let out a cry.
“Heavens What have I done?” The strangled voice sounded stranger to you.
“What have I done, what have I done” you whispered achingly.
“Aurelia!”
You choked again hearing his voice, you couldn’t bring your self to look just yet.
“Aurelia what are you doing!? Why are you up!?” He rounded you hands finding your shoulders.
Acacius waited for your answer but you had none, only fresh tears. He barely hesitated before reaching down and scooping you up.
“I can walk-“ you tried to say but it was unintelligible through your tears, you didn’t want to burden this man ever again, not for anything.
He glanced at you for a moment but continued his quick pace to the bedroom. He laid you gently on the bed, his concern growing at the endless tears.
“Are you in pain? Let me call the healer back-“ he was already halfway out again.
“No-! no I’m fine I’m fine don’t call I’m fine!” You cried out but tried to collect yourself to not worry him more. The truth is your body was on fire but you would never burden this man again.
He hesitated but listened and approached you again, “Then what is it? Are you afraid? Everything’s alright now, your safe”.
You bit your lip to keep in the cry. How could he be so kind?
“Aurelia? Tell me please, what is it?” He kneeled beside you a helpless expression on his face.
“I-I I’m so- im so sorry, I’m sorry- I don’t know how- I was in there for a b-book and lit some candles I don’t even know how it h-happened I-I-“
Your breathing was becoming erratic again but once you started apologizing you couldn’t stop
“I’m so s-sorry Acacius I’m so sorry” you buried your face in your hands.
“Aurelia shh it’s alright, don’t cry, it’s nothing that can’t be replaced, don’t apologize, you need to breathe alright?”
You barely heard him, but you needed him to know how sorry you were, even if you didn’t deserve forgiveness.
“I’m so sorry, I’m sorry” you continued.
“Aurelia-“
“I’m s-sorry”
“Aurelia stop you’ll hurt yourself more!” He kneeled on the bed pulling you closer to him, worried that if you didn’t calm down you would go into another coughing fit.
“Shh it’s alright, I’m not angry, all that matters is you’re safe. Please calm down, can you breathe slowly for me? Look, follow my breathe…”
“That’s it, breathe in and out just like that, good girl…” he held you close and you felt your eyes begin to droop, exhaustion taking its toll. He sighed when your last words were a whispered apology.
***************************************************
The next day you were miserable, the burns although mostly shallow still caused great pain. Mentally you were a wreck, replaying the events over and over.
The healer told you you needed to rest for several days so that’s what Acacius made sure you did. He visited often but you couldn’t bring yourself to speak hardly a thing out of shame. Most times you just pretended you were asleep.
A week passed and you were allowed to get up as normal just to take it easy. Acacius had gone out for some business luckily because you didn’t think you had the strength to face him.
As you descended the stairs you tried to ignore the whispers of the servants. They all thought the same thing you were repeating in your mind.
Burden
Shameful
Useless
You sighed shakily nearing the now cleaned land where the structure once stood. His kindness made you feel horrible. You wish he would yell and scream at you, for you deserved all the bad words
You spent the day aimlessly wandering and thinking until you tired yourself out and retired to your chambers.
A jar of salve was left by your bed from the healer for the pain but you didn’t open it. You deserved every single sting and ache.
The next day you hardly felt like getting up so you didn’t. Food was brought, you didn’t bother eating it, instead you gave it to the birds outside the window.
In your solitude you came to a resolve. You would resist every urge, every inkling of your old reckless self. Acacius deserved someone who was 100 times the woman you were but since you were bound all you could do was at least not give him any more trouble. Another week passed, Acacius had been gone for some military business and it was easier that way.
It had been a whole nother week when Acacius finally arrived back to the villa. He dismounted his horse with a sigh. He did not want to be gone so long but he could hardly deny the emperors requests.
Tiredly he walked through the gates, scanning for signs of you. It was unusual to not see you flitting about.
A servant approached and helped him remove his cape.
“The Lady, how is she?”
The servant frowned a bit, “My Lady has been… resting these past weeks. We’ve not seen much of her.”
He frowned at that. Her wounds were not so terrible to have her bedridden so long. So what was wrong with his wife?
He nodded to the servant and made way directly to her chambers.
He knocked on the door listening for her voice.
“Come in” you called expecting a servant with food.
You were sat on the bench by the window staring out.
“My Lady..” he said almost hesitant.
Your head whipped to the side, eyes widened seeing your husband.
“A-Acacius… I didn’t know you were back…”
He walked inside and shut the door behind him.
“Are you well? The servants tell me you haven’t left the room much..” he stepped closer taking you in. Your sunken face, the way your eyes weren’t lit up with that sparkle he loved.
“I’m alright, thank you..” he frowned, not quite satisfied with the answer.
“Your wounds are healed?”
You nodded quickly.
He nodded then cleared his throat in the awkward silence that followed, “Then why haven’t you been out?”
You thought of what to say for a moment, “I… no reason, just resting I suppose”
Another answer that didn’t satisfy him but he decided not to pry. If you didn’t want to speak he wouldn’t make you uncomfortable.
“Well I’ll be in my chambers should you need anything…”
“Thank you..” and with that he left shutting the door behind him. You bit your lip forcing the tears not to come. How dare you cry when he’s the one who should be upset. Get it together.
Several more days pass and Acacius was growing frustrated. You barely left the room, choosing to take your meals inside even when he was home. He only caught glimpses of you here or there on the occasional walk around the garden but even that was becoming rare. Where was his wife who was always flitting around singing something off tune or getting into trouble. He recalled the time he awoke to clucking outside his door, and the time he found you skirts tied comically splashing in the lake, then of course when you so happily baked for him flour marks on your face. He smiled fondly at the memories, then frowned.
Why had you suddenly changed so much? Had he done something? He knew the fire shook you up but perhaps he said something unintentional? Did you overhear him yelling at the staff and resented him for it? He was going mad.
It took another few days before his patience finally ran out and he all but burst into your room.
“A-Acacius?! What-“ you startled dropping the book in your hands.
“Tell me what it is” he demanded a bit out of breathe.
“W-what?”
“Tell me what’s wrong or what I’ve done to upset you into seclusion”
“Acacius you’ve done nothing wrong I swear…”
“Then what is it? Why have you been avoiding me? What has upset you so much that you’ve locked yourself away?”
You didn’t expect this, so you really didn’t know what to say.
“I… I think it’s better this way…”
His eyebrows furrowed a bit trying to make sense of what you just said. “I don’t understand, what’s better?”
You fiddled with your hands and had a hard time making eye contact so you chose a lovely spot on the floor instead.
“It’s better that I don’t…. cause problems..” heavens was that a lot harder to say out loud than you thought.
This definitely took him aback.
“What?”
Oh no was he upset now? He surely looked it.. maybe you should have explained better.
“I-I mean… I’m always causing you trouble and getting into situations that I shouldn’t… I figured it would be better if I spent more time here….”
He was quiet for a while, his face undeniably confused and upset.
“And you decided this all on your own?” He said in a tone that you were a bit nervous about. Calm but hidden anger.
“I-I… yes..”
“So your plan is to live out the rest of your days between these four walls?” He couldn’t hold back a scoff. His annoyance seeping through his usually calm demeanor with you.
“….It’s better-”
He clicked his tongue in annoyance “Better? Better for who exactly?”
“Acacius all I do is cause you trouble! I’ve been embarrassing you since we wed, the entire household thinks I’m a burden and they’re right, I cannot-I will not burden you anymore especially after-…” you couldn’t bring yourself to mention the fire. With a shakey breath you gathered yourself and continued.
“I just don’t want to upset you anymore…” you confessed.
The silence was deafening, your heart squeezing so much you were afraid it was going to burst.
“You know out of everything that’s happened between us I think this is the only time I’ve been truly upset.”
You eyed him swallowing dryly taking in his clenched jaw and crossed arms.
“Acacius…”
“You don’t get to decide this all on your own, and you especially don’t get to decide how I feel.”
“…”
“Have I ever been cross with you? Made you feel as if you’ve shamed me?”
“Well no but-“
“Then why?” In two strides he was upon you looking down.
“Why did you suddenly decide that I would like it more if you hid yourself away?”
“Because if I’m here not causing you problems then wouldn’t it be easier for you…?” You wrung your hands together, anxiety heightening with every moment.
“Fuck that”
You jumped a bit startled that those words came out of his mouth.
“W-what?”
“Cause me problems”
“Acacius-“
“Break things, scream shout, bring the whole villa down if you wish it but you will not lock yourself up like a prisoner. You’re my wife, I’d like to actually have you around.”
“You… you’re just saying that because you’re too kind Acacius… but my heart can’t take it anymore. I did something so awful and I know you must be upset…”
“Is this about the fire then?”
“…”
“Things can be replaced, nothing that burned cannot be bought again or rebuilt.”
“B-but you loved that place. It was your sanctuary”
“I did love it, but it’s gone now and I hardly think about it, it’ll be rebuilt soon enough not that it really matters. What matters is that you’re safe and sound.”
“How can you be so kind? So patient so-so perfect” he scoffed at the last one in mild amusement.
“Acacius it’s true! I’ve never met someone so gentle and sweet”
“Gentle and sweet..I’ll be sure to add that to my title right after general or Rome”
“You joke but it’s the truth…” you look down at your sandals.
He sighed before lifting your chin up with his warm fingers then caressing your face, wiping away your tears with his thumb.
“Tell me something wife, have you seen me act that way with anyone else?”
“Well…” you thought about it. He was civil with everyone.. stern a lot, with servants and his men and well everyone else…
“And why do you think that is hm?”
“Well… I assume it’s because you see me more as a child…”
“A child.” He repeated.
You nodded.
“Aurelia you are never allowed to assume anything ever again”
“What?”
“You truly think that’s how I see you? That I treat you kindly because I pity you?”
“Well…then why?” You asked genuinely confused.
“Why treat my wife with care? Why worry for her? Why speak gentle words? Why shower her with gifts? Tell me Aurelia why does a man do those things for a woman?”
“I… I assumed-um well I believed that you were just..”
“Just what? Doing that out of duty? Is it so impossible to imagine that I love my wife and want her to be happy?”
“….” Your eyes widened larger than the sun. You hardly believed the words. So you asked him in a whisper.
“W-what did you s-say?”
Instead of answering he leaned forward closing the distance with a soft kiss.
“Does that answer your question?” He breathed in the few inches between your lips.
You shook your head no and leaned in. You felt the smirk against his lips. After several moments you pulled back to regard him.
“I never imagined you’d feel the same way…I still don’t think I believe it…”
“Like I said, you’re forbidden to assume things from now on wife”
“I… I’m sorry…” his hands settled at your waist, his smell flooding your senses.
“Make it up to me…”
You felt the heat rise in your cheeks but didn’t want to disappoint. You wrapped your arms around him pulling him into a deeper kiss full of emotion.
“Never allow such thoughts in your mind again, and you’re wrong, you’re not a burden. Yes I’ll admit you have a habit of getting into unique situations but I don’t mind, in fact I look forward to what surprises await me each day.”
“Do you really mean it? Even if I do awful things…? “
“Yes I mean it.. although I will draw the line at one thing, never do anything to put yourself in danger. When I saw you by the flames I-“ he paused sucking in a breathe.
And that moment you heart finally caught up with your head because no man could fake the emotions on his face like that.
You hugged him whispering an apology into his shoulder.
“You’ve apologized enough for a lifetime, come, dine with me, you’ve lost weight…” you nod letting him pull you by the hand out the door.
You heard some voices and frowned, anxiety creeping up again.
Ever the perfect man he caught on immediately.
“What is it?”
“The servants… it’s been hard to be around them… you might accept me for who I am but they haven’t…”
“I wouldn’t worry about it”
You cocked your head a bit at his amused tone, “why?”
“Because I fired them all”.
“Acacius!”
“Don’t protest, it’s done. I blame myself for not realizing what heartless people resided in my home. Besides I think you’ll like the new staff a lot better..”
You descended the staircase still confused why he seemed so smug until you heard voices you hadn’t heard in months.
“My Lady!”
“My Lady we’re here!”
“Oh how we’ve missed you!”
You couldn’t contain the loud gasp when your eyes landed on the familiar faces below. The staff that practically raised you was beaming up at you with joy.
“Oh my- Marika! Cicero! Diana! Felix! Ahh you’re all here!” You practically jumped from the staircase onto the group of your favorite people in the world.
Acacius couldn’t help but chuckle as the group enveloped you pulling you in, hugging and kissing you. Hardly the kind of servants he was used to but now he understood why you were so saddened to leave them behind. After your embraces you pulled back.
“What are you doing here? Is Father here?”
“You mean you don’t know?” The words would have worried you had everyone not been smiling ear to ear.
“Know what?” The general has employed us all here.
“W-what?!” You snapped your head to your grinning husband.
“B-but how did you- father must’ve been- h-how!?”
He laughed and descended the last couple steps, “I can be very persuasive if I need to be dear wife.”
“Oh- oh I don’t believe this!” you couldn’t contain your joy and parted from the group to jump on your husband who stumbled a bit but caught you of course. You kissed him then and there not caring who was watching- well in fact you didn’t care because everyone in the room were people you loved and felt safe with.
He was a bit surprised but when you pulled back his face was quickly morphed into fondness and satisfaction that the gleam in your eye was back.
“There she is..” you sighed happily hugging him once more then ran back to the awaiting group.
Well actually you made it halfway before pausing, turning around with an unsure look, and walking slowly back to him.
He tilted his head curious, “Acacius… will you… will you allow me to properly thank you… tonight? If that’s- if that’s something you’d like… or-“ your face that lovely shade of red he’d come to admire.
“Something I’d like?” He scoffed and for a moment you were afraid until you saw the expression in his eyes.
“Well I didn’t want to assume… you’ve forbidden it remember.” He smirked leaning down by your ear so only you could hear him.
“Listen well wife. This is the only exception you may always assume...” You shivered feeling his breathe caress your ear.
Gentle and sweet and now you had a new word to add, although you couldn’t quite find the right one just yet. But oh were you ever so eager to find out…

Keep me warm
Eddie Munson one-shot.
warnings: female reader, smut, no use of Y/N, pet names; sweetheart, baby, etc.
You and Eddie had spent the day at Lover’s Lake. Eddie refused to go to the lake on the sunny days because practically all of Hawkins were there and he didn’t want them all to scream and stare at him.
So today, when it had been cloudy, you had all but put your foot down and forced him to come with you.
”Come on, Eddie! One day in the whole summer we just got to be at the lake, take a dip and have fun!” you had whined and he had given in.
He always gave in when it came to you, couldn’t deny you anything.
Except himself.
It was your biggest secret, how in love you were with Eddie Munson. Always had been.
Ever since the day you and he got paired up in English class for a project and you offered to help him out, so he would pass the class at the end of term.
That was three years ago and Eddie was none the wiser about your feelings for him. You were his friend and he loved you, you knew that. But he wasn’t in love with you.
You two had happily tossed your clothes to the ground (wearing swimclothes underneath) and dove into the lake, playing around, swim racing and dunking each other for a good while, without noticing that the sky had gotten darker.
When there was a loud rumble above you, Eddie pushed his wet hair out of his face and looked up, his eyes widening. ”Shit! We need to get out of here,” he told you, pulling your arm as the both of you all but fought against the water’s density as you ran up to the beach.
And that’s when the sky all but opened itself. You were still in the water below the waist but with the force of the rain you didn’t really notice the difference, you were both drenched within seconds, and you could see how your towels and clothes were too, at the beach.
”Just grab them, we’ll drive back to my place and change, you can borrow something from me,” Eddie said.
You weren’t sure how you felt about going commando underneath Eddie’s clothing since your underwear would be wet but nodded nevertheless, as the both of you grabbed the two piles, running through the pouring rain toward his van that stood at the edge of the forest path leading to the lake.
You were both soaked, as if you had never gotten out of the water, when you reached the van. Water wasn’t dripping from you, it was running down your bodies in small rivlets, droplets big as pennies flying off your hair when you moved.
Finally Eddie unlocked the driver’s side door and leaned over to unlock the passenger one so you could climb in. You shivered, dropping your clothes on the floor by the seat and went to buckle yourself up.
Eddie turned the the key to the engine.
Nothing.
”What?” Eddie muttered and tried again, but the van didn’t start. He tried two more times before admitting defeat.
”The battery must be dead,” he concluded. ”But why?”
”Did you turn the lights off before we went to the lake?” you wondered and his eyes widened.
”Shit! I... no, I don’t think I did.”
You sighed. That was typically Eddie, and normally you would find it endearing, but now you were stuck in the forest, soaked in cold rainwater and with no clothes to change into.
You shivered and Eddie looked at you, clearly feeling bad. ”I’m sorry,” he said, reaching over to rub your arm. It didn’t help much against the cold.
”It’s okay,” you said, ”these things just happens sometimes, it’s not like you did it on purpose.”
It was quiet for a moment as you listened to the thunder and the constant sound of the rain splashing onto the roof of the van.
You had pulled your knees to your chest, trying to stay warm, but your wet bikini didn’t help. Eddie didn’t seem to fair much better. You could see the hairs on his arms standing up, his pale skin looking more blue than white. Suddenly Eddie snapped his fingers. ”I have an idea. But... it... I don’t want you to take it the wrong way,” he said, a blush covering his face.
You raised an eyebrow. ”What kind of idea?” you asked him curiously.
”Well... we’re both freezing, right? And we don’t know how long this rain storm will go on. I... I have a mattress back there, and a blanket. It’s mostly for when I... when I conduct business out of town, because no way I can afford a motel,” Eddie admitted with an embarrassed chuckle. ”Why don’t we climb back there and try to get warm.”
That was a good plan in theory. But your bathing suits, heavy with water, would still chill you down and you told him so.
His blushed deepened. ”That’s what I meant about you taking it the wrong way. That we... we take them off. Body heat.”
Your mouth fell open and you just looked at him, your brain going blank.
Eddie wanted... he wanted to...
”I mean, I will of course look away, and we’ll be under the blanket the whole time, I just don’t want you getting sick,” Eddie rambled, looking like he was about to panic. That made you laugh.
”No, it’s... it’s okay, Ed. Let’s try.”
You climbed to the back and Eddie got the blanket out. You slide beneath it and then pulled your bikini bottoms off and then the bikini top, tossing them to a corner of the van.
You closed your eyes as you heard Eddie shuffle with his own swim shorts. Then you almost jerked when you felt something crawl in beside you.
”I think it’s best if you turn on your side,” Eddie whispered and you nodded, turning so your back was to him, and he wrapped his arm around your middle, taking care not to land even an inch above or below. He had also shuffled his hips backwards so his pelvis wasn’t even touching you and deep inside you thought that this was probably not the correct way to create body heat. You two were only lucky it was in the summer and it was just the rain that had chilled you down, not snow or ice.
It did work though. Soon enough you started to feel warm enough that you could ease out from your fetal position and relax. Eddie seemed to do so too, he wasn’t as tense anymore.
The arm you were lying on had gone numb though, so you shifted a little to get the blood flowing and heard a sharp inhale from Eddie.
”Don’t... don’t do that,” he said, sounding as if he was in pain.
”Do what?” you wondered, turning your head to look at him. ”I was just...” as you shifted again, you felt it.
Your bare ass came into contact with Eddie’s crotch and... he was hard. Rock hard.
Your eyes widened. ”Eds?” you whispered.
Eddie swallowed and closed his eyes. ”I’m sorry!” he whimpered, ”I’m so sorry. It... it’s just...!”
You couldn’t help it, you started to giggle.
”This is not funny,” Eddie exclaimed, his voice mopey like a child.
You felt it again, and the size of his cock made you gasp, warmth pooling inside your pussy.
You would probably hate yourself for this later, but you couldn’t resist anymore. You turned around, sliding as close to Eddie as you could, raising a leg so that it rested over his hip.
Eddie gasped, looking at you in shock, his dark eyes even darker from arousal.
”Can... can I...?” he started but you didn’t wait for him to finish, you took the hand that now rested on your hip and brought it down to your sex, making him close his eyes in bliss as he gently parted your folds, stroking you.
You pulled the blanket up a little so you could get a good look at his cock. It was beautiful. Big, uncut – apparently his parents had never bothered with getting him circumcised – and slightly curved. You wanted that inside you.
Eddie opened his eyes and met your gaze. This time he didn’t ask, he pulled you into him and kissed you.
You whimpered as he rolled you beneath him, bringing both of your legs around his hips. His cock was rubbing against your wetness, and it made you ache with want.
”Need you, sweetheart,” Eddie whispered into your ear, sucking on your earlobe and down your neck, teeth scraping against the skin. ”Wanted you... so long...”
He had wanted you?
You didn’t get an opportunity to think about that because Eddie’s free hand took a hold of your chin, making you look at him.
”Do you want me, sweetheart?”
You nodded.
”If you don’t, tell me now.”
You shook your head. ”I want you, Eddie! Please!”
”You got it,” he whispered and then started to kiss his way down your body, tossing the blanket that had covered the both of you earlier, impatiently to the side.
”Fuck, you’re gorgeous,” he breathed, licking the curve of your breast, up to your pebbled nipple. That made you whine, arching your chest against him.
He switched to your other breast, rubbing his own saliva over the nipple he had just left. You moaned and whimpered, arching against him. What he did felt wonderful but your pussy was absolutely dripping, aching for something, any kind of friction.
”Please, Eds...”
”Please what?” he wondered, blowing cold air over the other nipple, now wet from his mouth.
”I need... need you to touch me!”
”Baby, I am touching you,” he teased you and you just wanted to bite him. But instead you took one of his hands and moved it to your sex, using his fingers to rub your own clit.
”There,” you moaned, ”I need you to touch me there...!”
Eddie’s eyes grew big as he watched you holding his fingers and put them against your clit, rubbing circles, bucking against them.
”Holy fuck,” he whispered, before batting your hand aside and moving down between your thighs.
”You don’t have to make me do it, baby. I’ll touch that sweet pussy whenever you want me to!”
For moment you were surprised by his teasing and dominance – it was so unusal from how Eddie usually was. Only a moment ago he had been so embarrassed about you feeling his hard on!
And now... now, he spread your legs and inspected your glistening pussy, as if it was nothing!
Then you felt his wet, fat tongue, licking a stripe up from your ass to your clit, making you cry out and dig your nails into the mattress your were lying on.
”Jesus H. Christ, you taste so good,” Eddie groaned, licking you again, flicking his tongue against your clit, putting his lips over it, sucking, humming.
”Eddie... Eds... that... that...!”
”Tell me, sweetheart. Tell me how good it feels having my eat this delicious pussy!”
”Feels so good...!” you sobbed as he started to push a finger in and out, crooking it, making your eyes roll back into your head as he hit that sweet spot inside you.
”You like that? Or do you want more?”
”I... I want to... taste you too,” you stuttered out, your hand jerking out and grabbing on to his cock. Eddie made a choking sound deep in his throat, but he grabbed your hand, kind of how you had with his, and shook his head.
”Another time, sweetheart. If you put that sweet mouth on me, I won’t last two second. I want to fuck you first. Need to be inside you! You want that?”
You nodded furiously and Eddie leaned in closer to you, almost looking desperate. ”Say I can fuck you, baby. Say you want me!”
”I want you, Eddie,” you whispered. ”I want you to fuck me!”
”Yes,” Eddie hissed, removing his finger from you, sliding his cock against your folds, your wetness covering him as he finally slipped inside you, both of you letting out a loud moan when he bottomed out inside you.
You felt like he was in your throat, but it felt so good, so right... your cunt was screaming for him to move, to hit all the spots inside...
”Move, Eddie! Please, you promised to fuck me!”
Eddie growled – he actually growled at that – and pushed your legs up, so that your knees were practically by your ears, starting to thrust into you with vigor.
”Feels so fucking good... so tight... made to take my cock... ”
Apparently Eddie was just as talkative in bed as he was otherwise, it seemed he wasn’t even aware of what he was saying.
He held on to your legs, using them as leverage to pound into you. By now the van was shaking by the force of Eddie’s thrusts and your bucking to meet him, the windows had misted over and both of your bodies were shining with sweat.
Eddie released one of your legs and slid a hand down to play with your clit, making you scream.
”Eddie... I’m... I’m...”
”Cum for me, baby! I want to feel you cum!”
You sobbed through your orgasm, your arms tightening around his neck, nails digging into his skin as he kept pushing into you, just making it go on and on...
”Eddie...!”
”I’m close, sweetheart. Where... ”
”Inside! Inside me!”
”Are you sure...?”
”Birth control.”
”Fuck!”
Eddie thrust a few more times, one, two, three shallow thrusts before he groaned loudly, the veins in his neck standing out, as ropes of his warm cum painted your walls.
He let go of your legs but as you were afraid he would just get up and it would all be over, you wrapped them around his waist, clinging to him like a baby koala.
Eddie moved his bangs out of his eyes and looked down at you. ”God, you’re so beatiful,” he whispered.
You frowned. ”You... you think?”
”Of course I do. I’ve always thought so. That you were the most beautiful girl in the world. The most perfect girl in the world. I love you, sweetheart. Always have.”
Your eyes widened. ”What?”
”Yes. What, you thought... that this was just...?”
”I thought you just reacted because... well, we were naked.”
”No! Well, yes, a bit perhaps,” Eddie admitted, making you giggle. ”But... I’ve been in love with you forever. I was just... a coward. Afraid that if you didn’t feel the same it would ruin not just our friendship but the rest of the gang too.”
You supposed you could understand that. And you couldn’t exactly fault him, because you had been a chicken about admitting your feelings as well.
”I love you too, Eddie.”
Eddie hugged you tightly. Then he suddenly chuckled.
”What?” you wondered, smiling.
”It’s stopped raining.”
It was impossible to see anything out of the window but the tell-tale sounds of droplets landing on the roof of the van wasn’t there anymore so you guessed he was right.
”You want to try and walk back to the trailer park?” you wondered and Eddie shook his head.
”Nah, I’m good. I want to stay like this for a while. Besides, we don’t have any clothes to wear – we might end up in jail.”
You giggled. ”You’re right. But I don’t mind staying here either. I’ve got you to keep me warm.”

hi it's not seb Saturday yet but I just wanted to throw this idea down. Sebastian chilling outside in the rain in his usual spot before seeing the farmer trudge out from the mines all bloodied and bruised ("I'm alright, really—") and it's like an immediate panic switch is flipped for sebastian because yoba above they look like a vampire's wet dream out here. They either patch farmer up at their house or at Sebastian's room lol (could be funny if the farmer ends up crashing on his bed/couch for the night, then leaves quite early but not without leaving seb a gift they got from the mines.... : ,) anyway that's it)
Awe my first Sebastian Saturday ask yay! Bro this request is so juicy HEHE. (Side note: sorry if this isn't that good or feels rushed. I haven't wrote anything in months but I'm honestly proud of myself for cranking 2k words out)
gif originally uploaded by @starwberrymark
Sebastian listens to the rock music that’s softly coming from the garage as he works. He lets out another low curse when more oil leaks out of his motorcycle and gets on him. He should be used to it. His clothes are covered in it anyway. He sighs and sets down his wrench, taking a seat on the ground by the front tire as he snatches up his rag and wipes his hands clean. Well, as best as he could. He then takes a swig from his water bottle, eyeing the clouds forming above him. Looks like a storm is blowing in.
He keeps working for maybe another thirty minutes or so before he starts to feel the skies open up. The rain starts gentle, a few droplets starting to fall around him and onto his bike. “Welp…” he grumbles, grabbing his bike and starting to roll it back into the garage. Once secured, he shuts the radio off and closes the garage.
He places his hands onto his hips, surveying the rain. A ghost of a smile starts to appear on his face as the rain starts to fall harder. He steps back out into it and begins to head towards the lake. He takes his pack of cigs out and smacks them against his hand, inhaling deeply. He’s always loved the smell of rain.
Once at his usual spot, he takes a cigarette out and holds it up to his lips. He then slips his lighter out of his pocket and protects the end from the wind and rain to light it. Once the flame has caught the end of his cig, he inhales deeply, causing an orange hue to glow from the stick.
He stands there for a while, just admiring how the water falls onto the lake or how the forest begins to smell when it’s wet. His eyes move towards the entrance of the mines when he thinks he sees movement. Through the rain, that’s starting to come down harder, he can’t really see much. He squints his eyes and moves his head around, trying to get a better look at what was going on.
His eyes go wide when he sees you hobbling down the path. “(Y/n)!” he shouts in surprise, dropping his cig into a puddle and dashing over to you. Upon getting closer to you, he sees the bruises blooming on your skin and the cuts oozing blood. “Oh my god…” he mumbles, his heart breaking the longer he looks at you.
“Hey, Sebastian,” you greet him as cheerily as you can muster, trying to slap a smile on your face. The pain makes it a little hard to do though. “Don’t worry about all this. I’m fine, really. Just got a bit scraped up in the mines. Those monsters are-”
“You’re not fine! You’re bleeding!” he shouts, gesturing to you. Before you can respond, he’s wrapping one of your arms around his shoulders for you to lean against him. “C’mon, I’ll help you to my house.”
“Your house? But-”
“No but’s! You’re seriously hurt and Harvey’s clinic is already closed. You don’t seem too badly injured where we need to bother him, but I’m definitely not letting you go home without patching you up first,” Sebastian argues. You let out a sigh, realizing how serious he is about all of this.
“Okay…fine…” you grunt out, not having the energy to fight him on it anymore.
When you get to his place, no one seems to be home. At least, no one is in the front of the house. Sebastian leads you down the stairs and opens the door to his room. You’ve only been in his room a few times and never for long. Normally just when you have stuff for his commissions that he posts outside of Pierre’s store. He’s always very grateful, but he’s not much of a talker, so you just never end up staying around for too long. Besides, you have way too much shit going on in your day anyway.
He sets you down onto the black couch that’s right by his door and you’re happy to be off of your feet. “I’ll go grab the first aid kit,” he says right before dashing up the stairs to go do that. You grunt and lean back against the couch, the cool air of the house making you shiver in your wet clothes.
When he returns, he sees you shivering and bites his lip. “Here,” he says, setting down the first aid kit and going over to his dresser at the far end of the room. “Change into these,” he says, offering you a pair of pajamas. You shakily reach your hands out and take them, nodding your head as you stand up.
You two stare at each other for a moment, unmoving. Sebastian’s eyes go wide as he realizes what you’re waiting for. “Oh! Sorry! Um, I’ll just, uh-” he stutters out as he turns around, completely red in the face. With his back to you, you slowly start stripping out of your clothes, a shy smile on your face. You do your best to avoid getting any blood or dirt on his clothes. Thankfully, the shirt and pants he gave you are both black. Maybe that’s why he gave you that specific pair.
“Done,” you mumble before crashing back onto the dark cushions. He hesitates for a second before slowly turning around.
He’s then back in front of you in a second, kneeling on the floor and moving your limbs around to survey your wounds. Once getting an eyeful of them all, he grabs the first aid kit and starts patching you up. You remain silent as he works, even when it hurts, you keep your lips sealed.
After a while, a thought comes to you. “How are you so good at this?” you ask curiously. His eyes flicker up to yours before going back to your arm where he is currently rubbing in a cream on one of your darker bruises.
“Let’s just say I…wasn’t exactly always the best-behaving kid,” he replies with a shrug, a smirk starting to form on his lips.
“Oh?” you ask, looking down at him with your own smirk. Seeing your smirk, he huffs a laugh through his nose.
“Nothing interesting, I assure you. I just…I’m not the biggest people person…” he says softly, moving onto a cut that he’s cleaned up to bandage it.
“That’s okay,” you reassure, unsure of what else you could say in this moment.
“Yeah, I guess. I didn’t have a lot of friends growing up, but I had Sammy, and later on Abigail. They introduced me to some more people, so I have more than enough friends to last me a lifetime now,” he replies with a light chuckle. You can’t help but smile at that. You’re happy to see that he’s, well, happy.
“We’re friends, aren’t we?” you ask after a few moments of silence, hesitating in asking. After doing a few commissions for him and hanging out with him and the others at festivals, you two slowly started getting closer. You typically end up hanging out after a long day at work and you head over to Gus’ only to find that Sebastian and the others are playing pool. At first, you’d only watch, but after warming up to them, you started playing.
The last time you played together, you two ended up staying until Gus closed the place down. You two were one of the few people left there, Sam and Abigail being long gone. Y’all ended up walking to the beach and sitting on the pier, sharing jokes and swapping stories. It was one of the best nights of your life. It’s definitely your favorite memory you’ve made since moving to Pelican Town.
“Yeah…of course we are…” he replies softly, almost sounding hesitant and not looking into your eyes.
“Good. I’m glad,” you say softly, giving him a sweet smile. He finally looks up at you and gives you a small smile in return.
He’s then clearing his throat and standing up. “Well, I’m all done,” he says, wiping his hands onto his damp jeans. He glances at his clock and grunts. “It’s pretty late and sounds like it’s still raining. So, if you want to stay…you can…” He starts off confidently but ends on a quiet, unsure note.
Heat rises to your face at that. “Oh, um, sure. Thank you…” you whisper, looking down at your hands.
“Don’t mention it. You can, uh, take the bed, if you want. I’ll take the couch,” he offers. He then walks over to his closet and opens it up, revealing extra pillows and blankets at the top of the closet.
“What? No, no! That’s okay! I’ll take the couch. I don’t want to inco-”
“I won’t take no for an answer,” he interrupts, pulling some blankets free from their tangled mess in his closet. You sigh and nod your head even though he’s not looking at you.
“Alright, fine,” you say as you stand up, limping over to the bed. You sit there and watch him make the couch comfy for himself.
As he moves around his room and goes to the bathroom to get ready for bed, you end up lying down at some point. You don’t remember falling asleep, but you do vaguely remember feeling something brush against your forehead and what sounded like someone wishing you a good night.
When you wake up, you feel well-rested and ready to take on the day. You sit up and rub the leftover sleep from your eyes and then stretch. You wince when the bruises on your ribs ache, reminding you of what happened yesterday. You turn towards the time and find it’s six in the morning. Ah, guess old habits die hard.
Hearing rustling and a deep sigh, you turn your attention now to the couch. Sebastian is still out cold, and probably will be for another four hours, at least. You smile and slip out of the bed, walking over to him. You smile at how peaceful he looks, his usual RBF nowhere to be seen.
Not wanting to disturb him, you leave him be as you gather up your still-wet clothes. You’ll return his pjs to him later, after you’ve cleaned them and made sure they’re free of blood. Feeling something hard in your pocket, you slip your hand inside and remember what you found yesterday. Glancing at Sebastian, you gently set it down onto the table beside his couch that’s missing his radio. You then hobble over to his desk and search for paper and something to write with. Upon finding what you’re looking for, you scribble down a little note and leave it there next to your gift. You give him one last look before starting to limp up the stairs. Because it’s so early, no one else is up yet, so you slip out unnoticed thankfully. You’re not sure how you’d explain yourself to Robin.
When Sebastian wakes up, the first thing he does is look over at his bed. He frowns when he finds you not there and he feels his heart sink a little. He sits up and runs his hands through his hair before scrubbing at his face. Upon dropping his hands, he notices two items resting before him. He practically has stars in his eyes as he picks the Obsidian up. He can’t believe what he’s seeing.
Noticing the paper next to it, he picks that up next. As he reads your note, he starts to smile harder and harder.
Dear Sebastian,
Thank you for patching me up. Don’t think I ever actually properly thanked you last night. It means a lot to me that you’d go through all the trouble. I want you to have this. A little birdy once told me that you’ve always wanted to see Obsidian. I hope you can mark this off your bucket list now. If there’s anything else you want to see, I’m sure I can make it happen ;) Text me :) xxx-xxx-xxxx

“Have you ever smoked a cigarette before?”
“No, I haven’t.”
“Want one?”
You stare at the cigarette in Callum’s outstretched hand, hesitant to take it. Your legs stop swinging on the dock where you’re perched next to the tall boy, your hand reaching out to take the cigarette from his fingers. You stick it between your lips, silently asking with your eyes, “Is this how I do it?” He nods encouragingly, sliding a match across its box and cupping the end of the cigarette with his hand before lighting it. The action alone sends butterflies raging in your stomach. You puff the cigarette, inhaling slowly so you don’t cough. Exhaling, tendrils of smoke leave your lips, and Callum watches in awe.
“You hit that like you’ve been smoking all your life,” Callum chuckles as you pull the cigarette from your mouth and offer it to him.
“Nah,” he says, “it’s all yours.”
The two of you are counselors at the summer camp outside your city and definitely were not allowed to smoke while on the campgrounds. You also weren’t supposed to be out past curfew. But the thrill of being caught is what gets to you. Callum just does it because his pretty face can get him out of any trouble. You stare out at the lake that seems to go on forever in a black abyss to the horizon. Callum bumps his knee into yours as you finish the cigarette, somehow managing not to cough too terribly much.
“Wanna skinny dip?” Callum suddenly asks, a giddy smile on his face.
“What? Are you delusional?” you laugh, putting out the cigarette on the wooden dock.
“Maybe,” he shrugs.
You search his eyes for any signs of him joking but see none.
“You’re serious?” you ask, looking around to ensure no one is listening.
“Deathly.”
You stare at each other momentarily before bursting into a quiet fit of giggles.
“Fine, but we gotta be quiet.”
You’re glad it’s dark so Callum can’t see the full extent of your body. But also disappointed that it’s dark because you can’t see Callum without his clothes, as much as you’d like to. Ever since the first day of orientation for counseling, you’ve been unable to keep your eyes off him. He seems to feel the same as you but less subtle. Callum has done nothing but flirt with you during the first two weeks of camp. Not that you mind, of course. But skinny dipping in the lake past curfew seems like a full-fledged affair.
Callum rips his shirt over his head, tossing it where his shoes sit neatly by the dock entrance. He then stands to discard his pants, and you watch in silence, unable to move as you drink in what you can see of Callum in the moonlight. You realize you’re staring and hurry to remove your own clothes, but you're hesitant to take off your underwear until Callum does. You avert your eyes quickly as he does so. You aren’t that experienced in seeing the male physique naked, given you’ve not had much experience with sex in general. Sure, you’ve given a blowjob here and there, but nothing past that. Maybe Callum's flirting is just for fun, and he isn’t expecting anything. Not that you’d say no to him starting something, though. After all, why not? He’s cute, polite, great with the kids, and isn’t bad to look at.
Your thoughts are interrupted when Callum slides off the dock and smoothly into the water. He surfaces after submerging himself fully, swiping his hair from his forehead.
“Coming?” Callum grins, wriggling his eyebrows.
“Yeah, but don’t look,” you say shyly, reaching behind your back to unclasp your bra.
Callum closes his eyes but, unbeknownst to you, peeks through one of his eyes to watch you shimmy out of your underwear. He hurries to close it back when he sees you slip into the lake. The water is comfortable as the sun had warmed it earlier in the day. You swim over to where Callum is, stifling a laugh as he pumps his fist in the air at you, joining him.
“Never would’ve thought that little ol’ you would be skinny dipping,” Callum shakes his head, tutting at you.
“Well, I definitely wouldn’t do it with anyone else,” you say honestly, and Callum smiles softly at you.
“I’ll take that as a compliment,” Callum sinks lower into the water until his chin is just above the surface.
You copy him, your eyes locked on his. Callum reaches out and tucks some hair behind your ear, the gesture sending chills through you despite the warmth of the lake. He swims closer to you, his legs nearly kicking against yours.
“Can I ask you something?”
“Sure,” you say.
“Would it make things weird if I kissed you?” Callum asks, his eyes flickering to your lips.
“No,” you shake your head, “I don’t think it would.”
Callum lifts a hand from the water to cup your cheek, the moonlight shining in his eyes as he leans in to kiss you. You let your eyes flutter shut as his lips press to yours, those butterflies from earlier returning. Both of you aren’t too far out in the water, so you can easily plant your feet on the bottom to anchor yourselves. Callum snakes a hand to your waist, his fingers gripping your skin slightly. He takes advantage of being near the shallows so he can pull you close to him without worrying about sinking. Callum deepens the kiss by catching you off guard and letting his tongue sneak into your mouth. One of your hands finds the back of his hair, water dripping onto his neck and your fingers. His hand slides up your side, his thumb brushing over your breast, causing you to nearly jump out of your skin.
“Is this okay?” Callum asks, pulling away but barely parted from your lips.
“Yeah, I just,” you bite your bottom lip, “I’ve never…” you trail off nervously.
“Never?” Callum raises his eyebrows, “A pretty thing like you?”
Your ears burn as you glance down awkwardly, “Never.”
“We don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to. I wouldn’t want to take your virginity in a murky lake,” Callum snorts.
“Even if you did, I wouldn’t care where it was. I like you, Cal.”
Callum flashes a smile at you, “I like you too.”
“You can do as you please. I don’t mind,” you say, “It’s about time, anyway. I’m not getting any younger.”
Callum chuckles at your last comment before grasping your breast under the water, letting his thumb wander over your nipple again, “Don’t worry, I’ll be slow with it.”
You shudder as Callum does it again, leaning in to kiss you once more as he teases you. He moves from your lips to your neck, leaving open-mouthed kisses there as he plays with your breasts, eliciting soft moans from you. You hope you don’t get caught. You brush that out of your mind as you let your hand move to Callum’s length, slowly pumping it until it hardens. He groans into your skin, kissing your shoulder gently. He lets his focus move from your upper body to your lower body, his fingers tracing your clit with softness. You move close to Callum until you’re against his chest for leverage, letting him play with you. He slips a finger inside you, your eagerness allowing it to go in without much struggle. Callum uses his thumb to swipe your clit as he adds another finger, curling them inside you and stretching you out deliciously. You bury your face in his neck, whimpering at the warmth spreading in your belly. Callum can feel you clenching around his fingers, noting you’re ready for him.
“Let me know if I need to stop,” Callum whispers in your ear, nipping the skin of your lobe as he lines himself up with your entrance.
You wrap your legs around his waist, and your arms are around his shoulders as he slowly pushes himself into you. It comes with some resistance as you’ve never had anything inside of you before, so Callum allows you to take deep breaths and relax before pushing anymore. He cards his fingers through your hair, encouraging and telling you how good you’re doing. It makes you take him easier, your cunt swallowing him nearly whole. Callum finally bottoms out, letting himself feel you around him for a second before pulling out slightly. He thrusts back in steadily, careful not to be too rough. After adjusting, you allow Callum to start fucking you properly, and you’re honestly shocked you didn’t do this sooner.
“Fuck,” you screw your eyes shut, gasping as Callum hits your g spot with a particularly harsh thrust.
“Just like that,” Callum says as your walls suck him in, “Doing so good, love.”
Your fingernails dig into his back as you bounce on Callum’s cock, him bucking his hips into you simultaneously. Callum takes advantage of your breasts being near his face as he clasps onto one of your hardened nipples, flicking it with his tongue and sending waves of electricity through you. Everything is clouding your head with pleasure as you feel yourself growing close. Callum grips your hips, his fingertips boring into your skin as he feels himself growing close, too.
“You can cum inside me,” you say in Callum’s ear, and he curses under his breath at that.
“Are you sure?”
“Positive.”
Callum plummets his hips against your thighs as you move yours in fluid motions, feeling him at every angle. He nudges your clit with his thumb again, and you tumble over the edge, clenching harshly around Callum’s length. The feeling of your cunt squeezing him and the filthy sounds you’re making in his ear make him cum without warning. You feel his warmth inside you as he shudders against your neck, leaving soft kisses along it.
“You did great,” Callum says, slowly pulling out of you.
You catch your breath, glancing around to see if anyone is nearby. Thankfully, you’re still alone, “That was amazing.”
“I’m glad,” Callum says.
“Let’s get out, I’m getting all pruney,” you cringe.
Callum laughs and agrees before realizing something.
“Didn’t think to bring towels,” he sighs.
“Race you to the showers, then?” you grin as the two of you climb back onto the dock.
“Get ready to be beaten.”

Hello, a request please, how does Leo react if he discovers that his girlfriend (reader) is a minor goddess, daughter of Poseidon and host (Percy goes into brother mode)
disclaimer that I haven't read the kane chronicles yet and don't feel like I really know enough to write about that so this will be more focused on the whole minor goddess thing bc I LOVE this ask.
You're a minor - and very new - goddess, so most people haven't even heard of you. Your dad is poseidon, and your mom is a sweetbay magnolia dryad, so your dad ended up entrusting you to watch over the coast, and everyone who lives there. Anywhere the water meets the land is your domain. It's a pretty niche job, but you have fun quietly tending to the plants and animals, all the little otters and beavers and water birds. you especially loved the long island sound near camp half blood. eventually you asked your dad if you could stay there, pretend to be a normal teenager for a while. he thought of your brothers, Percy and Tyson, and decided that was a good idea. So he talked to Chiron and sent you over, informing Percy he has another half sibling. Even though it was a little rough at first, you bonded with him so fast, turning into the dynamic brother sister duo you'd both always hoped for.
then you met Leo.
He fell first, and he definitely fell harder. Leo has been enamored with you, practically drooling over you since day 1. Of course this really didn't do much to fix the occasionally tense relationship between him and Leo - if anything it exaserbated it more. You never really outright told Percy what you are, he just sort of... pieced it together over time. You were a little scared to tell him. You were scared of how he'd react, that he'd be mad at you for lying or hate you for what the other gods have put him through. You can still remember sitting at the bottom of the lake with him, watching the sun set from underwater.
"Percy, I need to tell you something. I just- I don't want you to be mad at me."
that got his attention.
"It's about- um- it's about me... who I am. What I am." You'd continued, the horrible knot in your stomach eating away at you, getting bigger and bigger. your pulse raced and your hands shook. He looked over at you, but you kept your eyes firmly on the surface of the water, glowing coral and green in the fading light.
"I know what you are."
he had said it so surely, your heart sunk.
"You're my sister."
you looked over at him, and he knew that if you were on the surface there would be tears prickling in your eyes. You sputtered something and he cut you off, his new york accent getting stronger as he felt a surge of older brother protectiveness through him.
"you're my fuckin' sister." You looked at him and saw everything else he wasn't saying. you're my sister, and that's it. I don't care what else you are, because I'm your brother and you're my sister and that's all I care about.
Ever since then you'd started feeling a little more comfortable about your status as a god. you didn't hide the way certain birds and animals would flock to you, or how just being near the water made all surrounding plants flourish. and eventually, with percy's unspoken support, you decided to tell Leo. You've been going out with him for long enough where you already know most of each other's secrets, and you just feel like it's time. You're walking along the coast, your hand entwined with Leo's warm one as he plays with your fingers.
"Did I- uh, did I ever tell you about my mom?"
You hadn't, and Leo's intrigued. He knows about your dad - hell, he's even met him once. But you never mentioned your mom. You start telling him about her and he listens with rapt attention.
"She's great with plants, too. She's, uh... a dryad, actually. Lives in a sweetbay magnolia tree."
You're quiet for a moment, hoping he'll put two and two together. You see a million thoughts and realizations and emotions flash through him so fast you'd miss it if you blinked. Then finally, he nods.
"So you're..."
"Yup." You say softly. "In charge of the coast. Where land meets sea."
A frog hops over to you and you smile, bending down and scooping him up. He puffs up his throat proudly, and you pet him a little. Leo watches you as you two continue to walk leisurely. The sun hits the water and the trees, basking you in a glittering light and soft shade at the same time. And it makes sense, he thinks. this little strip of land full of plants and animals, where you get your ankles splashed by the tide and get sand between your toes... you look at home here. And you are. Leo realizes that every time you've taken him on one of your little walks like this, you've been inviting him into your world without him even realizing it. it fills him with a sense of warmth and awe and gratitude like nothing he's experienced before. and in that comfortable silence, you know he has your back. Besides, he's sure Percy would kick his ass if he didn't.

Hi. I really like your works, you amazing writer so i had this silly idea in my head for a while and wanted to request Adam x reader who is Lucifer's little sister. Like she is kind, patient, a little shy (blushes if you compliment her etc.) and very loving angel. She is very close to her brother and he loves her very much but after meeting Lilith they start to spend less and less time together. After finding out that her big brother "stole" first man's wife, she feels bad for Adam and wants to keep him company (after all, she knows that he is problably feels lonely just like she is). Two quickly become friends and eventually starts dating. She is afraid to tell Adam that she is Lucifer's sister thinking that he would hate her for it and abandons her (obviously he is not, but whrerever), but eventually he finds out thanks to Lucifer who is worried about his baby sister who spends too much time with Adam behind his back and confronts his sister boyfriend (I feel like he woud said something like : "Hey! Keep your hads off my sister!" "What?! Sister?!"
I teally hope this is not too much, again I so sorry if it is. If not in a mood for or its too much I understand. Don't push yourself too hard. You amazing writer! Take care!

Adam x lucifer sister
—
You and Lucifer were the closest siblings that could ever be. For a while you didn’t think you two could ever be torn apart. However that changed.
From the dust of the Earth the first two humans were made. Adam and Lilith.
You saw the way your brother’s eyes lit up as he saw Lilith be created. You could practically see the hearts in his eyes.
It started small, Lucifer would go on and on about the first woman. Then he would miss your plan events together. Then soon he would completely ditch you for the woman he had grown to love.
Rumors of your brother new relationship had flown all around heaven. How he stole the first man wife. It had made you feel pity for Adam.
You had decided to just take a peek at what was really so special about these humans. That’s when you saw Adam petting a golden flying animal that had flown onto his hand. He was alone.
“I’ll call you a bird.”
You heard his voice and then you slightly understood Lucifer’s starstruck gaze as you shared the same one. Staring at Adam.
It had become a habit that you would often look after Adam. It wasn’t long until he had noticed.
—
“You can come out you know?” He was staring into the lake but he could feel your eyes. Watching him, always watching him.
You knew the gig was up as you sighed. You had thought you’d been more discreet. “I didn’t mean to intrude.” You spoke softly, embarrassed.
Adam felt heat running to his cheeks at your kind voice. The opposite of Lilith’s. You had inviting (E/C) eyes, and delectable lips.
“Who are you?” The only people or angels Adam had come across was Lilith and Sera. He heard of Lucifer, but he hadn’t even seen him.
“I’m (Y/N). An angel!” Adam head tilted. “I thought Sera was the angel to interact with me. Why are you following me?”
So many questions. Granted they were good ones. “I’m a guardian angel!” You rushed out panicking. You hadn’t want to tell him the true reason for your watchful eyes, that you were Lucifer’s sister.
“Oh okay.” So naive Adam was. So trusting of you, it had made you feel guilty.
—
You didn’t feel guilty enough to confess your relationship to Lucifer.
You would listen contently as Adam would complain about Lilith and her new spouse.
In the menace of talking Adam had two animals floating in the lake. “Look at those!” He pushed your head to the white and gold animals.
“A duck. That’s the gold one.” Adam had got to name all the animals. Every angel made one and Adam would name it. “Lucifer created that.” It had slipped out as you thought of your brother. Missing the times he would gush about his animal that had yet to be named.
“Whatever. That white one, what do you want to name it?” You looked to Adam quickly eyes widened. That was his job. “You know that’s against the rules.” You hushed out.
“Not entirely. You’re just giving me an idea that I’m taking.”
You looked back to the animal you had created. A smile forming on your face. You had never been given a choice. “A swan.”
Adam looked at you with a smile that made you melt and eyes that made you feel warm. That’s when you knew.
Why Lucifer ditched you.
Why he went after Lilith.
Why he would always talk about her.
Why he always wanted to be with her.
He loved her.
And as you looked at Adam you knew you loved him. Entirely. He was him and you love him.
—
Adam too had started to grow a crush on you. You were kind, listen to him, cared for him. You even had a bit of spitfire that Adam had grown fond of.
So when you confessed your feelings Adam had accepted them. He would say he loved you. Adam never really felt love, but he did deeply care for you.
The two of you had started to grow closer and closer and overtime, it be rare for you two to be apart.
—
Lucifer had went to check up on you only to find you gone. He immediately panicked. You never left without him.
He searched all of heaven. The only place left was the garden of Eden. He felt his chest tighten at the possibility that Adam would do something to you.
However what Lucifer saw was the complete opposite. There the two of you were laying down laughing with each other. That did nothing to stop Lucifer brotherly worry.
“Get the hell away from her!”
He had shouted and grabbed your arm, pulling you to him. Adam felt a slight sense of panic. A man was trying to take someone away from him — again.
“What the? Hey what’s the deal?!” Adam had questioned, voice filled with confusion.
“Keep your hands off my sister.” You felt fear lie in your stomach. Your brother had just told the man the secret you kept from him.
“Say what now?” Adam at first didn’t believe it. Not once did you mention a brother. You told him you had no siblings. “Who are you?”
“Lucifer. Lucifer Morningstar.”
You could feel tears prick your eyes. Adam looked at you with utter betrayal. He had been hurt -/ he had a right to be hurt — and you caused him that pain.
“Adam wait please let me explain.” You had begged. Adam only shook his head. “Don’t. Just go back to heaven.” Adam needed a moment. He needed to think.
He still cared for you. He still wanted to be with you, but how could he? What else have you been lying about? Did you actually love him?
—
Lucifer had dragged you back to heaven. Forbidding you to ever see him again. Adam was trouble according to him.
“You can’t keep me here! Away from him!”
Lucifer knew he couldn’t and fear struck. He went to Sera and proposed a new idea to her. Give Adam a new bride.
—
“Humans need population and if Adam and Lilith won’t, the surely a new woman couldn’t hurt?”
If Adam had a new bride he want nothing to do with you. Lucifer wouldn’t have to worry about your heart being crushed.
The sad truth however was that he had crushed his sisters heart.
He saw your heart break and immediately regretted his actions. He had caused his sister so much pain.
He heard you cry your heart out. Begging Sera to just let you have a chance with Adam. He remembers when he was the one — begging for Lilith — he remembered the relief of her saying yes. You had no such relief.
Lucifer watched as Sera said the final no. He watched as the joy, and love, the life drain from your eyes.
What had he done?
—
“Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a flight with me?” Lucifer had asked you.
You had loved your brother dearly, you couldn’t find it in you to say no to him. “Fine.”
You slugged out of bed and went on a flight all around the earth. The oceans water hitting your face. The air flowing your hair like crazy.
You had eventually flown over the garden. Like instinct you dropped to the trees. Returning to that old habit of yours.
You watched as Eve kissed Adam and Adam had kissed her back. Those lips that use to kiss you.
You turned away and Lucifer immediately hugged you. Knowing your pain. A pain he hadn’t wished upon you.
“It’ll be okay.”
—
When Lucifer reveled to be your brother, shock was the first emotion Adam felt. Then was the betrayal. Then the anger. Then the sadness.
He just couldn’t figure out why you would lie? Until one day a pebble hit him in the head (from a swan no less). You had lie in fear.
Why hadn’t he noticed it before? Obviously you lied cause you didn’t think he would still care for you. And he went ahead and made you think you were right. Of course he would always care for you.
He went over to the swan and started to pet it. Missing you. Wishing you were there with him.
He remembers when he let you name the creature. The look you gave him. The feeling he felt in his chest when you stared up at with pure adoration and love. Love. Love.
Holy shit he loves you.
A big smile flew onto his face as he hugged the swan. He loves you, and you love him back. You two would be okay. You just had to come back and see him.
—
Overtime you hadn’t came back and Adam cursed himself for sending you away.
A voice called out to him as he petted his swan. “Adam.” He looked up to the woman. He hadn’t recognized her at all. “Do I know you?”
“I’m your new bride, made from your rib.”
Adam felt horrified. No that was wrong. He wanted you to be his bride. He wanted you. He loved you. He couldn’t believe it. He wouldn’t.
“I think you got the wrong Adam lady.” He continued to pet his swan. “I’m spoke for.”
Sera flew down and backed Eve up. “She’s right Adam. Eve is to be your new bride.”
“But I love someone else!”
“You are forbidden to be with her.”
Adam felt tears of frustration come to his eyes. Tears of pure anger. “So Lilith can run off with Lucifer and I can’t be with his sister?!”
In the end Sera force was final. Eve is to be wedded to Adam and he couldn’t stop it.
—
“Ow, that swan just nipped me.” Eve spoke, hurt lacing her voice. Silently Adam praised the Swan.
Ironically the Swan hated when Eve would try and touch Adam. Adam never went anywhere without that swan as well. As you can see quite the problem in gave Eve.
It was one of those rare time the swan was with her lover rather than Adam. Eve took this opportunity. “You know we’ve yet to kiss.”
Good let’s keep it that way.
Adam silently thought. Though he knew eventually he would have too. Adam rolled his eyes and placed his lips on hers.
The kiss was meaningless. It lacked any emotion. And when he was done Adam walked away, rubbing his mouth. He only wanted you.
—
Lucifer knew you weren’t going to be truly happy without Adam. He expressed his concern to Lilith. She was the one who gave him the idea of the apple.
If they had free will, Adam could choose you.
So Lilith and Lucifer had offered Eve an apple. Eve ate the tasty fruit and begged Adam to try. Adam rolled his eyes and took the apple.
He looked to the swan as he took a bite, and suddenly he looked to Eve. Why was he with her.
He didn’t want to be with her. He wanted you, and he bloody well intends to have you.
—
The heavens were enraged with Lucifer’s acts, and the three humans temptations. The banished Adam and Eve.
You cried as you held onto Lucifer. You knew you couldn’t hold on forever, but if he left you truly would be alone.
“Please don’t leave me big brother. I love you so much.”
Lucifer too was crying as he told his sorries to you. He kissed your forehead and was banished from heaven, never to return.
—
You had became heartless.
When Adam joined you in heaven he was surprised by the void in your eyes.
For the first few years you had beloved Adam to be a fake. You couldn’t believe after all this time you weren’t alone anymore.
It took honestly centuries for you to fully open up to Adam.
“I miss my brother.” Your voice broke and Adam swore to you that you would see him again.
Adam didn’t care if he wasn’t fond of your brother, he would find away if it made you happy. And find away he did.
He saw an opportunity and took it. He suggest a yearly extermination.
So every year during the extermination and would give you a kiss as you flew off to be with you brother. And every year you’d cry when you had to go back.
However eventually with Charlie’s new Hazbin hotel you could cost more often.
Adam gave Charlie the go ahead as long as you specifically could go down there once a week to monitor it.
You were finally happy, and no longer alone as you helped Lucifer repair his relationship with Charlie.
—
Ahhhh, omg I really really hope you liked this, and thank you so much for saying those kind things!

After arriving back in Jackson, you ended up spending nearly three weeks in the infirmary. Your injuries were worse than you thought. From what you could remember, Bill said you had some internal damage along with several fractures and sprains. The cut in your leg was infected, but fortunately Eugene's group did manage to successfully trade for the rest of the antibiotics before everything happened in Salt Lake City.
You ended up sleeping quite a bit in those weeks, but Ellie told you later that Joel hardly ever left your side. She had said she would get into arguments with him, trying to convince him to take turns at your bedside so he could go home and rest, but he refused.
"I don't know which one of you is more stubborn - you or him," Bill mumbled to you as he gently removed the IV from your arm. You chuckled, your eyes finding his broad form outside your bedroom talking quietly with Tommy, just out of earshot.
"Definitely him."
You were grateful Bill let you go home, but he insisted on doing house visits twice a day until you were on your feet. Most of your superficial wounds had healed but you were still very tired and weak. Bill could see improvement every day, and he said that's all that mattered.
On his way out, Bill stopped to check in with Joel, no doubt updating him on your condition and any medicine he would have to administer for you. You watched his face as he listened intently, his brow furrowed as he looked down at the bottles Bill handed him. You had to stifle a giggle when you saw him squint at the label and hold it further away from his face.
While Joel and Bill continued to talk, Tommy slipped past them and into your room, giving you a grin as he plopped down in the chair next to your bed.
"Lookin' good," he said, making you laugh and then wince, gingerly touching your ribs.
"Liar," you said, and he chuckled, his eyes raking over your face, taking in the scabs and yellow bruises with a sigh.
"Just wanna let you know, we cut off all trades with 'em," he said, his voice taking on a serious tone.
"I figured. I know they had a lot of things we could use - "
"We'll find those things somewhere else. Not worth it," he said, cutting you off.
You nodded and cast your gaze to the side.
"Thank you."
"Don't mention it," he replied, tapping his foot on the floor. "Maria said she was gonna stop by later after work, you think you're up for it?"
"Yeah, of course," you said, although you honestly couldn't tell these days. It seemed like you fell asleep at the drop of a hat.
"How's Ellie?" you asked him. Whenever you asked Joel, he frustratingly just gave you the most basic information. She's fine. She's in school. Think I saw her with a couple girls the other day.
"She's adjusting real good. She's been stayin' with Julia, but I'm not sure it's a permanent solution for either of them." He eyed you carefully as your gaze drifted over his shoulder at Joel, who was walking Bill down the steps to the front door. "You got any ideas?"
"Me?" you asked, looking back to him now and raising your eyebrows in surprise. You knew what he was implying, and he just nodded.
"I would love it if she wanted to stay here, but I'm pretty sure Joel wouldn't like that, and I really don't want to push him right now. He's so stressed, Tommy. I can see it in his eyes. He's not sleeping well, and I'm worried about his blood pressure -"
"Have you talked to him about it? About the kid?" Tommy asked, and you shook your head.
"No, but he made his feelings pretty well known when she first got here."
"Lots happened since then. He might surprise you," Tommy said, standing up with a grunt. You frowned and opened your mouth to question him further when Joel walked through the door, his gaze falling on his brother.
"Just headin' out, don't worry, I know she needs her rest," Tommy said, sneaking you a wink as he headed towards the door. You thanked him for visiting and listened to them walk down the stairs, their voices fading the further they got until the door closed and all that was left was Joel's heavy footsteps slowly coming back up. He reached the door and leaned against the frame as he gave you a small smile, but you could see how exhausted he was. His eyes looked bloodshot and his shoulders sagged.
"Come here," you whispered, and he quickly pushed off the wall to come to your side.
"What'dya need, sweetheart?" he asked, glancing at the cup next to your bed, making sure it was still filled with water. "Hungry?"
"No," you said, shaking your head, but he looked at his watch and mentally did the math.
"You'll have to eat somethin' soon with your meds, what can I make you?" he asked, and you shook your head again.
"Can you please just lay with me for a while?"
He hesitated but you reached out to drag your fingertips against his wrist, urging him closer to the bed, and he gave in.
"Alright, only for a few minutes," he said, rounding the end of the bed and collapsing onto the covers with a groan, sliding his eyes closed in relief.
"I wish you'd rest more," you murmured after you gingerly rolled yourself onto your side so you could look at him. "I'm worried about you."
He chuckled and turned his head to the side to look at you in disbelief.
"You're worried about me? You're jokin', right?"
You reached out to lightly brush a stray curl away from his eyes, choosing not to reply. You knew it would be a losing battle anyway.
"Can't rest," he said, staring at you with his eyes all soft. "I'm not sure I'll ever be able to rest again."
"Why?" you asked, your brow furrowing.
He shook his head, his eyes still pinned on yours and you watched them slowly fill with tears. You gave him a look of concern and inched a bit closer to cup his face, the pad of your thumb swiping over his rough beard as you waited for him to open up.
"I'm sorry," he finally whispered, his voice thick as he tried to hold back his tears. "It's all my fault, I'm so sorry."
"It's not your fault -"
"I keep lettin' you down. Over and over again," he continued, a tear slipping down his cheek. "And I just wanna tell you that I understand now. 'Bout all of it. Why you're so scared 'bout havin' a family or gettin' married. And it's fine, I won't bring it up again, alright?"
"What do you mean? What are you talking about?" you asked, searching his face for answers.
"I can't - " he paused and took a deep breath before trying again. "I can't take care of us. I thought I could but it's clear I can't when all this bad shit keeps happenin'. But if you'll still have me, I'll be right here, okay? I'll take whatever you wanna give me, I don't care 'bout any of that other shit anymore. I just want you."
"Slow down," you said, trying to wrap your fatigued mind around what he was saying. Your grip on his jaw tightened before you continued. "You never let me down, do you understand me? You are the only fucking thing that kept me going the past few years. Without you, I would be dead. I would have died that very first day. I owe you my life, Joel. How do you not see that?"
He just shook his head, refusing to accept what you were saying, so you kept going.
"I should have just been honest with you, but it took me a while to figure out why I was so scared about - "
"You don't need to explain - "
"Let me finish," you said, and he clamped his mouth shut. "It's not you, Joel. Well, it is. But not for the reason you think."
He frowned, blinking back tears as he waited for you to continue.
"It's because I love you so much that it scares me." You could feel your own tears forming now, but you tried to push through. "If something were to happen to you out there and I was left all alone, I don't know how I could go on." You swiped away a few tears that fell as you spoke. "And I'm terrified of getting married because if you die, that day will haunt me, Joel. Every single year when the anniversary comes, I - "
You stopped for a moment, your breaths coming in short gasps. He tried to shush you and pull you closer, but you shook your head.
"I'm not strong enough," you finished with a small sob. This time, you let him pull you into his chest while his big hands cradled the back of your head, patting down your hair, soothing you.
"Does that make sense?" you blubbered, pulling back to look at him.
He nodded slowly, his eyes raking down your face.
"Yeah," he whispered. "Thought I wasn't gonna get you back after they took you. Thought I lost you forever."
The two of you sat in silence for a minute, lost in each other's eyes, the truth finally spoken and swirling around the quiet room as you both clung to the other, just grateful to be alive.
"But you did get me back," you finally said, breaking the silence. "You did that. You saved me. Again." You ran your finger gently over his bottom lip and he gave the tip of your finger a little kiss.
"You might think you can't keep me safe, but in reality, you are the only reason I'm still here." The puzzle was finally piecing together in your mind as you spoke.
"That's not true," he said immediately. "Every situation that's put you at risk could've been avoided if I had protected you more. I wouldn't have to save you if I didn't put you in harm's way in the first place."
"But this is the world we live in, Joel. None of us will ever truly be safe ever again. And it's not because of something you did. It's just a really shitty hand we were all dealt and now we have to figure out a way to make the most of it and survive." You paused for a moment, something in your brain finally clicking as the words came tumbling out.
"We can't let fear run our lives," you said softly.
He looked at you, your gaze fixed on the wall behind him as what Maria said so long ago finally made sense. It was like you were seeing through the fog. Like a weight was lifted off your shoulders and you could breathe deeply for the very first time.
It took you and Joel to finally have a raw and honest conversation, but you thought you understood what she meant now.
"You okay?" Joel asked, clearly confused. You let your gaze fall back to him and you grinned.
"Yeah," you said breathlessly, then tugged him forward so you could press your lips against his, your fingers curling around the back of his neck to hold him against you.
You weren't afraid anymore.
A few days later, you woke up to the sound of the front door downstairs swinging shut. Your eyes snapped open and you strained your ears, trying to listen to the muffled words through the closed bedroom door.
"Told ya to be quiet, she's tryin' to sleep," you heard Joel say.
"Sorry, the fucking wind took the door from me and this stupid backpack is so heavy. Why do I even need to go to school? Who cares about this stuff anymore?"
"I do, 'cause it keeps you out of trouble and outta my hair."
"Ha, yeah right. You know both those things are impossible, old man," you heard Ellie scoff.
"How the hell old do you think I am?"
"The way you can barely read the instructions on the back of that pasta box? You don't want me to answer that."
You grinned as you listened to the two of them bicker amongst themselves. You weren't sure when it happened, but at some point in the past several weeks, Joel and Ellie finally seemed to have a breakthrough in their relationship. You wanted to ask, but you didn't want to draw attention to it. The two of them were so alike in so many ways that you knew if you pointed it out, they would pull back and stop making progress. So in the meantime, you just enjoyed listening and watching them whenever you got the chance.
With a small grunt, you pushed yourself off the mattress and swung your legs over the side of the bed, taking a moment to catch your breath before reaching out and using the end table to support your weight so you could stand. Walking was getting easier; the worst part was still the healing gash in your thigh. Bill said the knife one of Amy's men used must have cut through some muscle, so you were slowly building your strength back up by taking very short walks around your bedroom every day.
With small, careful steps, you managed to get to your bedroom door and open it quietly, listening to Ellie helping Joel make spaghetti in the kitchen while she told him about her day. You stopped at the top of the stairs and peered down.
"Ellie?" you called out softly.
You heard a spoon clatter on the counter and Joel's heavy footsteps jog to the foot of the stairs. He looked up at you with a towel in his hand, worry etched across his face. Ellie quickly joined him and looked up at you with a grin.
"What's wrong? Why're you up?" Joel asked, taking the steps two at a time.
"Nothing!" you said with a smile as he reached the top and wrapped an arm around you gently to help steady you. "I just wanted to see Ellie."
"I thought you were asleep," she said, bounding up the stairs.
"C'mon, let's get back to bed," Joel urged. You sighed and allowed him to lead you back to the bedroom, but you chose to sit on the edge of the bed instead of getting back under the covers like he clearly wanted you to do.
"Come on, tell me what's going on out there. Joel's not much of a gossip," you told Ellie with a wink, and Joel huffed somewhere behind you, fixing the sheets.
"Well, Maria wants to get married the second you're back on your feet. Says she wants to do it before she starts showing," Ellie started, and you felt the mattress dip with Joel's weight next to you.
"Yeah, she told me that already. What else? How's school?"
"It's alright. I met a few girls, we hang out sometimes."
"That's great!" you told her, happy that she was acclimating well. "How's Julia?"
Ellie sighed and rolled her eyes at the mention of the older school teacher who graciously let her live with her.
"She's nice, but she's just got such strict rules. I've gotten into it with her a couple times when I was late for curfew," Ellie admitted, looking down at her fingers twisting in her lap.
"It's important that you listen to her, y'know. She's just lookin' out for you," Joel said softly, and you had to tuck your chin against your chest to hide your smile. He was so sweet with her now, like he had known her his whole life, and it took some time getting used to hearing it.
"Yeah, yeah, I know," Ellie said sullenly. "I just get so bored. She spends her evenings planning her lessons or knitting. Knitting! It's so quiet over there, I feel like I'm going to lose my mind."
"Well, why don't you move in with us?" Joel asked with a shrug. Both you and Ellie froze, your eyes widened in shock. You slowly turned your head to the side to look at him, unable to form words.
"What?" he asked, swiveling his head back and forth when neither of you said anything.
You were about to respond when Ellie jumped up excitedly, about to wrap her arms around Joel's shoulders, then stopped herself.
"Really? Can I?" Her eyes darted between you both, a huge grin plastered across her face.
"Yeah," you said breathlessly with a nod. "Yeah, of course you can." You tried your best to blink back the tears that were quickly forming.
The three of you heard some hissing coming from downstairs and Joel leapt up, muttering about the water for the pasta as he clattered quickly down the steps, leaving just you and Ellie.
"Holy shit," she said, still grinning.
"Uh, yeah, 'holy shit' is right," you said with a chuckle.
"You didn't have anything to do with that?"
"Me? Nope," you said, quickly shaking your head. "Although it was on my mind, I just never found the right time to talk to him about it."
"Wow," she muttered, sitting on the bed next to you. "Guess he doesn't hate me, after all."
"Told you," you said, nudging her shoulder with your own.
You sat in silence for a moment, deep in thought while you listened to Joel muttering to himself in the kitchen. A smile played across your lips at the sheer domesticity of it. A feeling that you never thought you would get to experience just fell into your lap when you least expected it.
"I never got a chance to ask," you began, and Ellie turned her attention back towards you. "Does anyone else know?"
She shook her head.
"When you were passed out in the truck on the way back, Joel told me he had to tell Tommy and Maria but then he got so distracted with you at the infirmary that I guess he never got around to it."
You hummed and nodded, wondering if Joel truly forgot or if he changed his mind. Either way, you knew it would have to come out some day, but you had hoped it would be on Ellie's terms.
"And what did he tell Tommy? About the Fireflies?"
"The truth. Well, mostly. Just left out a few things. He told him they were working on a vaccine and that they kidnapped you, obviously."
"But how did he explain why they took me without telling him they really wanted you?" you asked, your pain killers making it tough to keep up.
"I told them they took people to experiment on," she said. "I thought that's what they were doing, anyway, at first."
You chewed your lip for a moment, eager to learn more but careful about pushing her too far.
"How did you guys find me?" you finally asked. You had tried to get the story out of Joel multiple times already, but he kept dodging the question, and the curiosity was getting the best of you.
Ellie's body stiffened next to you. She straightened her back as she took a sharp inhale of breath.
"He didn't tell you?"
You just shook your head slowly.
"Well, we, uh, went back to my aunt and uncle's house," she said, dropping her eyes to her lap. "He figured out they were the ones who called the Fireflies to come take you. Or, I guess me, but whatever."
"Oh," you said softly. You hadn't expected Ellie to know about any of that.
"It's alright, Joel told me after you were taken. That you thought they might've sold me off," she said, as if reading your mind.
"Ellie, I'm so sorry," you said, but she just shook her head.
"It's fine," she said, but you could see in her face she was hurt. After a moment, she added "it worked out in the end, right? I found you guys."
You gave her a tight smile as you felt the swell of emotions rising up your chest, squeezing your throat. You cared for Ellie so deeply that you were almost inclined to agree with her. Even though you were just as happy to have her in your lives, it still made you sick to think about what she had to endure to get there.
Then, you realized Ellie never elaborated about their return visit. You glanced over at her and wanted to ask, but decided against it. She looked upset enough, and if it was anything like you saw at the hospital, you preferred not to bring it up.
Joel startled you both by appearing silently in the doorframe.
"You girls ready to eat?"
Girls. The way he said it warmed your heart.
"So long as you didn't burn it," Ellie said teasingly as she stood up from the bed. "I'll bring some up for you," she said to you over your shoulder as she headed down the stairs.
"C'mon, lemme help you get back in bed and I'll get your tray," Joel said, but instead you held out a hand to stop him, making him look at you.
"Thank you," you whispered, cupping his face with both hands.
"For what?"
You smiled at him and he lifted an eyebrow at you, amused but curious.
"For giving me a family."
It took a few weeks, but your bones eventually healed and you were able to get back to work. Maria would only schedule you for half days and you argued that you could do more, but by the time you got home after only four hours, you had to admit you were exhausted.
Bill told you it would take some time for you to feel like yourself again, that it was completely normal and that you would need to build your strength back up. You had to constantly remind Joel you needed to start doing things for yourself, but he would still do whatever he could to keep you from getting up too much.
Joel heard you sigh from the bathroom and within seconds he was in the doorway, buttoning up his dress shirt with a tie draped loosely around his neck.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong," you said quickly as you continued to stare into the mirror and fidget with your hair. "I can't get my hair to look the way I want it."
"I think you look beautiful," he said, sauntering over with his shirt still untucked to wrap his arms around your waist from behind, gazing at you in the mirror while he planted a quick kiss to your neck.
You sighed and tilted your head to the side, encouraging him to explore your neck more. You arched your back just a bit, pushing yourself back into his hips, causing his arms to stiffen around you.
"No funny business," he murmured against your skin, and you grinned.
"Not even a little funny business?" you teased, and you felt him chuckle lightly against your back.
"Nope. We're gonna be late," he said, pulling back suddenly but giving you a small tap on your ass with his palm before he walked away.
You glanced at the time and gasped quietly. He was right. Tommy and Maria's rehearsal dinner was in ten minutes, and even though it was just a handful of you at their house, you still didn't want to be late. Maria spent too much time planning this wedding and the last thing you were interested in doing was setting off the short fuse she had developed over the past couple weeks.
Quickly, you put on some old lipstick and fixed your dress before turning off the bathroom light. Joel was just finishing up knotting his tie, leaning forward a bit with his lips parted as he watched himself carefully in the mirror above your dresser and you had to resist the urge to push him down on the bed right then and there.
Ever since your energy slowly began coming back, so did your desire for Joel, but he was adamant about waiting until you were feeling better, which just left you feeling crazier by the day. You weren't sure if it was because you were finally on the mend, or maybe it had something to do with your breakthrough with him, but you found yourself feeling a lot needier than usual.
"Ready?" he asked you before running his fingers casually through his curls once more and walking over to you. You nodded, your lips pressed together as you glanced down at the blue shirt and navy slacks he picked out.
"You look good," you told him, your tone suggestive. He smirked and took your hand, leading you out of the bedroom.
"Ellie, we're leavin'," Joel called out to her, ignoring your compliment. "There's leftovers in the fridge!"
"Okay!" she called out, the sound of her music softly flowing through the floorboards as you made your way downstairs.
"Should we bring any pain killers in case you start gettin' sore?" Joel asked.
"No, I'll be fine."
"You sure? 'Cause-"
"Alright fine, we can bring them," you relented, just eager to get out of the house at this point. You pocketed them in your small purse and the two of you headed out towards Tommy and Maria's house, luckily arriving with two minutes to spare.
"How are you feeling?" you asked Maria as she greeted you with a warm hug.
"Me? What about you?" she said with a laugh.
"Oh, I'm fine! I want to hear all about you and what the future hellraiser is putting you through."
"She ain't fine," Joel said behind you, turning his head away from his brother. "Bill said-"
"Bill said I need to work on building up my strength. To me, that's fine," you told him, and he rolled his eyes.
"You two are so alike, it's scary, you know that?" Maria asked, leading you into the kitchen for a drink. You smiled and waved when you saw Carrie and Jake, along with Eugene and another woman who you thought was named Tina, but you couldn't quite remember, rounding out the rest of their wedding party.
"So really, how have you been feeling?" you asked her, taking the glass of wine she offered you.
"Nauseous, but it's getting a little better. And tired. Oh my god, I'm so tired all the damn time, it's crazy!"
"Oh, wow," you said, taking a sip before adding "you aren't even showing yet. How far along did Bill say you were?"
"I'm close to the end of the first trimester, thank god. He says that's when the nausea usually goes away and I should get some energy back," she said, checking the oven briefly before straightening back up. "But enough about me. How are you two?" she asked, nodding subtly towards Joel in the living room with Tommy and now Eugene.
"Better. Much better. We had a good talk after we got back, and I think we're on the same page," you said, glancing around the room at the others, making sure they were out of earshot.
"What page is that, exactly?" she pushed with a smirk.
"He's okay with not getting married or having kids," you replied with a noncommittal shrug. She narrowed her eyes at you and you frowned. "What?"
"Is that what you really want, though?"
"Well," you said, glancing around once again before lowering your voice. "I've come around to the whole marriage thing, but I don't really know how to tell him. I feel like I keep jerking him around and I don't know what to do."
"You need to be honest with him," she said immediately, and you rolled your eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, I know, but I just made this huge fuss -"
"It doesn't matter. This is your life, you have to do what's right. He might be confused at first but you know he will be so fucking ecstatic he will forget all about it, right?"
"Yeah, I guess," you said, glancing over your shoulder to watch him laugh with Tommy, a glass of whiskey in his hand. "I just need to figure out how to tell him."
"And kids?" she asked, causing you to whip your head back around.
"I'm not there yet. But maybe one day," you finally admitted, making her squeal out with excitement and causing the rest of the guests to look your way.
"Sorry! The chicken just came out perfectly!" Maria said with a giggle. You laughed with her as you locked eyes with Joel and he raised a curious eyebrow at you. You shrugged and gave him a quick smile before turning back to Maria.
"Alright, enough of that. What can I do to help?"
"You sure you ain't in any pain? Maybe you should take somethin' before bed," Joel said as he watched you wince when you leaned over to take your heels off.
"I'm okay, I promise. It's the damn shoes," you explained, sitting on the edge of the bed and rubbing your calf. "Was I this annoying when you were hurt?"
"Worse," he said with a grin before sitting down next to you and taking your legs over his lap, his own fingers taking over, rubbing the sore muscles and doing a far better job.
"Thank you," you said breathily as you closed your eyes and leaned forward so your head was resting on his shoulder. You sat in silence for a moment, his strong hands digging into your calves, content to be in your shared home with Ellie safe and sound, right down the hall.
"Joel?"
"Hm?"
"Something's different," you said softly, your eyes still closed.
"What'dya mean?" he murmured, his lips pressed against the top of your head.
"I feel... safe," you said, opening your eyes a bit and staring at the wall across from your bed, his fingers still working your legs.
"That's good, baby," he whispered.
"No, I mean..." you paused, searching for the words, not sure how to say it. "I mean I'm not scared anymore."
His fingers paused as he absorbed your words, trying to figure out what you were saying.
"That's... good," he repeated, not quite understanding. You sighed and tilted your face up to look at him, your arm stretching up to wrap around his neck, pulling him down for a soft kiss. Another time, you thought. You'll figure out how to explain it another time.
You slipped your tongue past his lips, your fingers raking through his hair as the hand that was once on your calf slowly migrated up past your knee and to your thigh. Greedily, you nipped at his bottom lip and leaned backwards so you were flat on the bed, Joel partially on top of you while your lips moved faster, leaving quick, desperate kisses against his mouth.
"Hang on," he whispered, but you kept going, your heart slamming in your chest. Now that you felt him on top of you again, it was sparking a fire between your legs.
"What's gotten into you?" he asked jokingly, pulling back a bit and pinning your wrists into the mattress, your chest heaving.
"Please, Joel," you begged, not caring how pathetic you sounded.
"C'mon, you know you ain't ready yet. You're still healing," he mumbled sweetly, pressing a soft kiss against your forehead.
"I am ready," you promised, but he just shook his head.
"We got a big day tomorrow," he whispered in your ear before sitting up, his weight no longer pressing against your upper half. "Let's just go to bed."
You pouted as you sat up next to him and he grinned.
"Ain't gonna work on me, sweetheart."
Then, an idea occurred to you. You shrugged and stood up, walking towards the bathroom as you slowly unzipped your dress, letting it pool at your feet only when you were in the safety of the small room. You turned around, hand on the door, only wearing your underwear as you took in Joel's slack jawed expression, his eyes slowly raking up and down your nearly naked frame.
"I'm gonna shower," you said quietly, his eyes still glued to your body. "You wanna join me?"
You could see the conflict in his face, trying so desperately to hold back and keep a clear head.
Finally, he forced himself to shake his head. You pouted again then shut the door, but not before sliding your underwear down your legs first, giving him a little show.
The water had barely gotten warm enough to step under the stream when he ripped open the shower curtain and stepped into the tub. You looked at him and smirked.
"I thought you said -"
He silenced you with his mouth covering yours, pushing you up against the cool tile while his knee slotted between your legs and his hand slowly drifted down your stomach. You gasped and smiled against his mouth when his fingers pressed exactly where you needed him.
"You need me that bad, huh?" he murmured against your mouth, and you nodded.
"Yes," you whined, arching your back off the wall, your wet body pressing up against his as his fingers dipped inside you and dragged them back out, smearing a mix of your arousal and water expertly over your clit.
"Can't be too loud, now," he reminded you, swallowing your breathless moans as his fingers circled faster. Your nails dug into his shoulders, holding on tightly as he brought you to the edge way too quickly, months of not being touched by him finally coming to a head.
"Joel," you whispered, burying your face into his neck as you felt the muscles in your stomach tense. He wrapped his other arm around your waist, holding you up just in time. Your legs went lax, your arms and Joel the only thing keeping you upright as you felt the coil in your belly snap, your sounds muffled against his skin and the water beating down around you.
"Better?" he asked when you finally found the strength to hold yourself back up. You nodded, your eyelids drooping, but you still slid your hand down his stomach. Right as you were about to wrap your fingers around him, he stopped you.
"Not tonight," he said, and you frowned. "It's late. We gotta get to bed."
If you weren't so exhausted, you would have put up a bigger fight. You leaned into him as he gently massaged shampoo into your hair, your eyes closed, blindly letting him direct you under the water to rinse before he got started on your body, his strong hands spreading the soap over your skin in circles.
He helped you get out of the tub and wrapped you in a towel as he dried your hair, his own body dripping water all over the floor. You lazily watched him work, a slow smile creeping across your face. He noticed and raised an eyebrow at you.
"I like it when you take care of me," you explained, and you swore you saw a little bit of pink dust his cheeks. He led you to bed, tucking the cool sheets around you as he brushed your damp hair away from your eyes. "Want you to take care of me forever," you mumbled as your eyes slid shut. He smiled, then his hand froze as his lips pursed in thought.
I feel safe.
I'm not scared anymore.
He finally understood what you were trying to tell him, and his heart began to flutter excitedly in his chest.

「Picnic date with BNHA Boys」
⤷ Bakugou
he didn't like the idea very much at first; the thought of mosquitoes and the heat of the sun irritated him. but, seeing how much you want to do this and how excited it makes you, he ends up accepting it, however, it is you who does everything in the beginning; prepare food and drinks and choose a good place. he pretends not to like it at first but the place you chose is perfect; under a big tree near a small lake. the sun is not so hot and for the first time in a long time he feels whole and happy and carefree. so he just surrenders in that moment; eating with you, smiling and stroking your hair as you lay in his lap while you talk about anything that comes to mind.
⤷ Deku
you and he make all the food you bring on the picnic: the little sandwiches, the cupcakes, even the lemonade. you spend the whole morning in the kitchen, laughing and messing around and exchanging kisses until everything is ready and packed in a basket so big you have to carry it along, one of your hands and one of his on either side of the handle.
it's a sunny day, the kind when the sky is so blue it hurts to look at it for too long. the two of you lie down on his blanket and feed on grapes as he tries to convince you that the cloud to your left looks like an elephant (you're not convinced).
⤷ Kirishima
he doesn't mind going to parks where there are a lot of people or in quiet places where it's usually just the two of you; he will go anywhere with you. he likes to peel an orange for you and he always asks something like "is it good?" looking at you for a few seconds with a smile on his face before returning his gaze to the orange he is peeling for himself. he also likes to play something with you or just listen to you talk, but at the end of the day he likes to lie on the blanket and close his eyes, using one arm as a pillow while the other he gently strokes your hair or your sides while you lay your head on his chest.
⤷ Todoroki
he likes to go to large, quiet places that are close to a river or lake; the noise of the water and the birds singing in the sky just makes the climate and atmosphere more perfect and pleasant. you two take everything you like; fruits, cakes, sweets, juices or soft drinks but if you see a fruit on a tree close to where you are, he won't think twice about putting you on his shoulders so you can reach and pick it up. he washes the fruit for you in the river or lake and then you spend the rest of the afternoon lying on the blanket looking at the clouds; your head on his chest as he gently caresses your sides, wishing this moment would never end.
⤷ Denki
having a picnic with you is one of his favorite things; he loves and appreciates every moment by your side and makes a point of keeping those moments deep in his heart and also on his phone. he likes to film and take pictures of the two of you preparing food, walking hand in hand, sitting on the grass, eating or talking.. he likes to record these moments so he can watch them again when he is sad or missing you , or to post on instagram.
⤷ Tamaki
you and he would have the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing picnics ever. with delicious foods and sweets that you bought at your favorite bakery. and you also take a lot of pictures that you two post on instagram or just to keep for yourselves.
but it's not really about how pretty everything looks or the social media posts. picnics with your boyfriend are always so adorable because you get to relax and stop thinking about anything else. the two of you just sit and talk and eat for a while. it's a nice change of pace that makes your heart settle in your chest.
⤷ Shinsou
no one knows you better than he does, so when he suggested you guys go on a picnic on one of his rare days off, you knew it was his way of trying to relieve all the stress you two had been feeling lately. it's so sweet and soft the feeling of lying on a blanket in the sun with your favorite boy as he plays with your hair and the two of you share a tangerine. it's a healing time for the two of you to reconnect and de-stress from the week just passed. he tells you all the gossip from work and you tell him about your two coworkers who are secretly dating.
⤷ Hawks
you and he are always taking videos and pictures of you to watch when you're apart. he's so bubbly and sweet all the time because he finally gets to spend time with you without worrying about work (no matter how much he likes it) or anything else. he can just chill with his favorite person.
you usually have your picnics at the end of the day, almost like dinner; after eating you lie down on the blanket while looking at the sky, he turns his face and smiles slightly as he runs his finger along your jaw, enchanting you with how beautiful you are. and then you walk around the park, greeting all the ducks and squirrels you pass. and he also takes a lot of pictures of you and the animals because to him, that's the cutest thing in the world.
⤷ Dabi
he only agrees to go if it's in private places, where it's just the two of you. he doesn't talk much, he just eats while listening to you say whatever you want; he gives you advice or encourages you to talk more while looking for more candy in the basket you brought. he always says he won't stay long but seeing your smile and how calm the atmosphere is, he changes his mind. he leans against a tree and pulls you towards him, you lie on your back on his chest and he gently caresses your waist or belly while you are talking about anything or are silent; just sharing a soft, comfortable atmosphere that none of you want to leave.
⤷ Shigaraki
you're the kind of couple that brings games with you on your picnic. you spend a lot of time talking and eating and the other time you two spend a lot of time playing on your nintendo; relaxing games like animal crossing or competitive games like mario kart. it feels so good while you are sitting outside in your favorite park surrounded by all your favorite delicious foods in such a calm and pure atmosphere.

First love-C. Caufield
Dad! Cole Caufield x daughter x mom! Reader
In which Cole’s daughter finds love on the playground
Warnings?; slight cursing, protective Cole, small kissing, def some errors so i apologize!
Can be read as a continuation of this but doesn’t have to be!
Cole turned around at the sound of the front door opening, moving away from the kitchen island and stepping into the hall he found you and your four year old taking off your shoes.
“Is that my Rosie girl?” He called out, a large smile taking over his face as her little head snapped up at the sound of his voice, his heart warming as a bright smile took over her face.
“Daddy!” She squealed and quickly took off towards her father, little legs launching herself off the ground and into his arms.
“Hi baby.” He greeted the small girl, placing kisses all over her face causing her contagious giggles to echo throughout the hallway.
He pulled back when he felt your hand on his shoulder, “Hi honey.” He smiled placing a soft kiss on your cheek as he still held his daughter tight in his arms.
He followed behind you as you entered the kitchen, greeting the boys as it was summer and your lake house was packed after a morning session of golf.
“Uncle Alex!” Rosie exclaimed at the sight of the curly haired man, wiggling out of her father’s grip and into the arms of the center.
“Hey cutie, did you have fun at the park?” He asked.
The question caused a small laugh to escape your throat from where you stood making Rosie a sandwich for lunch.
“Why don’t you tell everyone who you met at the park today bug?” You spoke up, a smirk taking over your face.
“Oh! I met the love of my life today!”
You watched as the kitchen turned so silent that you could hear a pin drop, your husband’s face turning pale as his jaw fell open, the faces of your friends matching his.
“I’m sorry? You met who?” Brock was the first to speak up, not liking one bit that his niece just stated she was in love.
“The love of my life duh!, his name was..uh-mommy? What was his name?” The little girl questioned with a confused look on her freckled face.
“Jackson” you reminded her.
“Right! Jackson, we played on the swings, he gave me some of his gold fishies, and then we held hands, and he gave me a hug before we left!” She beamed recalling some of what the two four year olds got up to today.
Cole couldn’t stop himself as he surged forward and scooped his daughter from his friend’s arms, setting the small girl counter he boxed her in with his arms on each side.
“Listen bug..you only played together right? Like swings, running around, going on the slide and stuff you didn’t kiss him after your hug right?” The man asked the four year old so seriously that you would think he was going over contract negotiations.
“Ewww no daddy! That’s only for adults.” She stuck her tongue out at the idea as she shook her head no.
“Good because you know that boys have cuties and that the-“
“Cole!” You scolded the man, slapping his shoulder.
“What?! I don’t want her to think it’s okay to flirt with little dirt balls.” he argued, his arms flaring out.
“He’s right Rosie, boys are gross.” Trevor spoke up from where he rested against the counter.
“But you’re a boy uncle Z, so are you daddy, and uncle Brock, and grandpa, and uncle ale-“
You were the one to cut your daughter off before she could go into naming every boy she’d ever met, “Honey why don’t you go sit at your table and eat your lunch? You can watch some Bluey for a bit while you eat.”
The young girl perked up at the mention of food and a tad bit of screen time, seeing as she didn’t get much iPad time she took what she could get.
Cole helped the small girl off the counter and grabbed her iPad from its spot on the counter before handing it over to you as you two walked out of the kitchen and to her little eating area.
“So you know this means that we have to find this kid and teach him a lesson right? He shouldn’t have even talked to-“ your hand connecting to the back of Jacks head shut him up quickly, looking like a scolded child.
“I know you were not just going to plan beating up a four year old.” You laughed, hands on your hips as you looked at the young man.
“He has a point honey, I mean who was this kid anyway?” Cole spoke up, his stance quickly mirroring yours.
You shook your head at your husband, a laugh breaking free, “He was actually really sweet and I talked with his mom the entire time at the park while they ran around. He picked her flowers and everything, even told her that her freckles were pretty.” You smirked knowing it would piss Cole off even more that the boy went as far as to compliment Rosie.
“He what?!”
“Oh calm down, it was harmless and we even set up a play date for Saturday morning at the park.” You shrugged.
“Well boys, clear your calendars for Saturday morning. We’ve got plans.” Cole spoke up and you could do nothing but shake your head as the kitchen full of grown men agreed with him.
-
When Saturday morning rolled around Cole was packed and ready to go, his Honda odyssey packed and loaded for a morning at the park.
Thankfully you were able to shake the heard of hockey players that originally wanted to join you and it only ended up being you three as you arrived to the park.
Rosie was excited all morning and the night before, ready to see her friend again and to play.
The girls eyes lit up at the sight of Jackson once you made it into the playground, her little hand waving around so fast you were scared it was going to fall off.
“Jackson!” She cheered as she ran towards him for a hug.
“Hi Rosie! I like your shirt.” He greeted, pointing to the trolls characters on her shirt.
“Thank you! I like your hat.” She replied.
“Oh hell no.” Cole grumbled going to step forward but your hand on his arm and stern look in your eyes had him stopping in his tracks.
You greeted Jackson’s mom as the two kids ran off introducing Cole, sitting on a bench you two caught up on your week while Cole’s gaze was locked tight on the kids.
His hand clenching tightly against his yeti every time Jackson’s hand so much as brushed Rosie, but he hid his death stare for the child every time his mom looked over or anytime Rosie did.
After about twenty minutes of running around the two came back for a drink and took off again until Jackson had to go to the bathroom, his mom taking him quickly leaving just you and Cole as Rosie continued to run around.
“See he’s not bad, plus she’s just making friends.” You nudged him.
He grumbled in response, one arm crossing over his chest as he leaned back more into the bench, his quarter-zip tightening around his strong arms as he kept an eye on Rosie.
“She said she was in love.” He pointed out.
“Cole she’s just a kid” you laughed, “She doesn’t know what love means, she just knows that everyone in her life that she has fun with and that makes her laugh she says I love you to.”
The man shook his head in denial, determined to hate the young boy for the way he was making his daughter feel. To him she was his little baby and no boy deserved even a drop of her time, she has all the people she needs.
Cole continued to watch intently for the next hour or so until Jackson and his mom had to get going, you exchanging your goodbye as the kids did the same.
This time however when pulling back, Jackson’s lips landed on Rosie’s cheek but he was quick to run off before anyone had time to react.
“I-did he..did he just kiss her?!?” Cole choked, hundreds of emotions and thoughts running through his mind as he processed what he just witnessed.
Cole was flabbergasted as you broke out into giggles, finger pointed at him as you bent over holding your stomach tightly.
“What are you laughing at?! He kissed her! He put his lips on my babies cheek.” He shook his head, heart racing as he noticed the blush on your daughter’s cheek as she turned back towards you two.
“Your face! It was to good.” You laughed, picking up your bag as you held Rosie’s hand in your larger one.
Cole groaned as he stood as well and led the way to the car, he couldn’t believe the little shit actually had the nerve to kiss his babygirl.
Rosie babbled on as you put her in her car seat, Cole already situated in the drivers seat listening intently as she went on to talk about all the things her and Jackson did.
She continued her rundown as you guys got on the road, telling you about how he held her hand again and kept telling her he really likes her freckles.
“Oh and he asked me to marry him but I told him I had to ask my mommy and daddy first.” The four year old shrugged.
“HE WHAT?!”

Chapter 8 - selfish desire
previous chapter - next chapter
series masterlist
warning! includes yandere themes, violence, abuse, kidnapping, (see masterlist for more)
“I know she’s not.”
Yeosang took a deep breath, listening attentively to his roommate’s hoarse voice.
“I know she’s not dead.”
He glanced at Wooyoung’s eyes which stared into nothingness. His wide stare made the dark bags under his eyes even more apparent. Yeosang had almost given up on trying to get his roommate to eat for the past few days, seeing as he only got more aggressive for every day that passed. Keyword, almost.
He could barely admit that his friend was in denial, because Yeosang himself didn’t want to realize that you were actually dead. The difference was that Yeosang had started to get used to the thought.
He wanted Wooyoung to be right about you. He wanted you to still be alive somewhere. But he couldn’t let himself dream like that, not even for a second. He already knew what effects it would have.
“She would never give up on me. She would never just admit that I…” Wooyoung stopped mid sentence, his breath hitching in his throat.
The two sat in silence for minutes, the only audible sounds being an occasional sniffle from either of them.
This might’ve been the first time they had been able to hold a conversation without Wooyoung breaking down in sobs, but Yeosang honestly preferred that. This eerie silence didn’t do anything to soothe his nerves.
“Woo—“
“Don’t say it!” Wooyoung shouted, making his roommate almost jump in a start. “Don’t tell me that I need to let it go, or that this isn’t good for me. I can’t—“ Wooyoung’s breath got caught in his throat, tears starting to flow from his eyes once again.
He didn’t get to finish his sentence before getting embraced by Yeosang, not a single word leaving either of their mouths until they finally fell asleep for the night, still holding onto each other.
Hours later, Yeosang could feel himself slowly drifting awake, his heavy eyelids reluctantly opening.
“Yeosang-ah,” Wooyoung shook him. Yeosang sat up quickly at the sudden commotion. “Remember that friend of yours, the one who’s a cop now?”
Yeosang blinked slowly, processing the question in his dazed state. He only replied with a nod. “I have an idea.”
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
Jongho couldn’t hide the shock on his face when his old friend barged into his office one day. After years of not talking, here he was, probably looking the least tidied up anyone had ever seen him.
“Hey, been a while hasn’t it,” Yeosang said, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. Jongho nodded slowly, an amused laugh leaving his lips, formed in a small smirk.
When Yeosang explained the reason for his visit, Jongho patiently listened, as his confusion only grew.
“Why are you so interested anyway? Had a crush on the girl or something?”
Yeosang nearly choked at Jongho’s blunt approach, but soon composed himself.
“No… In fact, she’s a… dear friend to me,” Yeosang said, a far away look in his eyes. Although you were Wooyoung’s friend first and foremost, Yeosang had built a fondness of you over the past years. You had become his friend too, and of course, the news of your death had affected his life as well.
Seeing Wooyoung in the state he was in didn’t exactly help with Yeosang’s constant anxiety right now. As much as he wanted to be the perfect friend for Wooyoung and be there for him in these hard times, this had taken a toll on Yeosang’s own mental health.
“Okay… Here’s her file. This is everything we’ve got so far. You’re lucky you’ve got a contact here. This is confidential,” Jongho said, pointing the finger on the table at each syllable of the last word.
Yeosang slowly took your file and opened it up. There was basic information about you and details about the day you had last been seen. Yeosang eyed it further, seeing that there were barely any details about what could’ve happened, or how they even found you in that lake.
“Have the police working on this even tried to solve this?” Yeosang asked, huffing in annoyance. “What do you mean they don’t know how long she was in the lake!? Isn’t there a way to find that out?” Yeosang raged. Jongho’s lips pressed into a thin line.
“Trust me, if I was allowed to interfere, I would,” Jongho sighed. Yeosang closed the file, not even wanting to look at the pictures of your deceased body that were shown in the end.
“Now, could you show me the file of Jeong Yunho?” Yeosang asked, tone serious, looking straight into Jongho’s wide eyes.
Since this was the only thing on Wooyoung’s mind, he had made all types of bizarre connections to other things, trying to make sense of what happened. As much as Yeosang didn’t even want to think it, he had to admit your two cases were very alike, also having happened around the same time, only two weeks in between each other.
“Know the guy?” Jongho asked, searching on his computer. Yeosang looked around the room. “Well, not exactly, but…” Jongho quirked a brow at his odd behavior. “Whatever, I’ll explain it to you once we get the file okay?”
Jongho stood up to go and fetch it, just humming in agreement. He had to admit he would’ve preferred a phone call or text message before getting a sudden visit from his old friend, but what to do…
When Jongho slammed the case file on the table, Yeosang wasted no time in opening it, letting his eyes take in everything. He placed Yunho’s file next to yours, silently comparing the two.
“Look here,” Yeosang alerted the younger male. “Don’t you find this odd? Two victims, going to the same university, get abducted almost exactly two weeks in between each other, and both of them later get found dead. This can’t be a coincidence…” Yeosang ran a hand through his hair. Jongho silently studied Yeosang’s troubled expression.
“I do admit the person responsible probably has some sort of connection to both of them, but I’m not sure if—“
“Do we know that they’re dead?” Jongho’s jaw dropped slightly in shock. “Yes. They have been declared dead by the department, they—“, “Do we know? Have you seen the bodies?”
Jongho coughed slightly at the questions. “Well, no, but I’m not allowed to interfere. It’s not my case to work on.”
Yeosang closed the files, meeting Jongho’s gaze with a fierce expression. “So, who works on it? Have they made any progress with finding the killer?”
“Yeosang, we don’t even know if it’s the same killer, this could just be two completely unrelated events that only cause suspicion in you because you cared about the girl.”
Yeosang’s unforgiving eyes didn’t waver. It made Jongho squirm in his spot.
“Do you really think that’s the way it is?” Yeosang asked, eyebrows furrowing slightly. Jongho sighed deeply. “My opinion on this isn’t necessary, it’s—“
“Tell me, Jongho.”
A silence filled the small office, Jongho continuing to fidget with his sleeves uncomfortably. Another deep sigh was heard from Jongho before he sat down. Yeosang almost made a gesture in happiness. Finally, he had given in.
“Of course I think they’re related. I think almost everyone in the station does. Well, everyone except the ones who are working on it,” Jongho poured out, a huff of frustration leaving his mouth. Yeosang blinked.
“Who are the ones working on it?” Yeosang asked, eyes still plastered on the officer in front of him. “Officer Choi and Lee. They often work together, despite their record of putting cases down when they’re far from solved,” Jongho looked away.
“Full names please.”
“Choi Sangcheol and Lee Mansik,” Jongho said, no longer hesitant to reveal information. Yeosang quickly noted the two names on his phone.
“Thank you for this, Jongho. I don’t think you understand what this means to us,” Yeosang confessed, giving his friend a smile the officer had learned to miss over the years. “Us?” Jongho questioned.
“Remember Wooyoung?” Jongho’s eyes widened at the name, memories of their high school days coming back. “He’s Y/n’s best friend. They’ve known each other for years…”
Jongho gasped slightly and nodded, understanding the situation. “This won’t be our last time speaking, we should meet sometimes, well, outside of your office,” Yeosang giggled. He gained a smile from the officer, before finally waving goodbye.
Yeosang immediately picked up the phone in his pocket, clicking the number one contact on his list. He didn’t even hear a beep before Wooyoung’s voice was heard.
“Choi Sangcheol and Lee Mansik. They’re the officers working on the case.”
Wooyoung was quiet into the phone for a moment.
“Well, looks like we’ve got some digging to do.”
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
Hongjoong’s firm hands laid themselves on Seonghwa’s small waist, the small fingers gently digging themselves into the back of his lover. Hongjoong’s eyes were closed, and he couldn’t help but smile when Seonghwa’s slender fingers caressed his neck.
Pulling the man closer, Hongjoong started slowly dancing to the jazzy tune playing from the record player. Seonghwa’s deep voice hummed the song, having memorized it from how often Hongjoong would play it.
“Your voice is so beautiful, my love,” Hongjoong whispered. “Only for me.”
The two continued their slow dancing in the large living room, their hands roaming each other’s bodies more desperately for every second that passed, the slightly seductive mood getting further escalated by the sound of the piano getting gently played in the beautiful music playing.
Your eyes fluttered open, and your head immediately whipped around in panic as you took in the unfamiliar room you found yourself in. Like every time you had woken up in this place, your breath soon quickened, your heartbeat rising as your confusion grew.
Sitting up, you noticed to your surprise that you were not held back by any restraints.
The room was quite small, and had a cozy atmosphere. Bookshelves surrounded the room, a small window with all kinds of complicated locks facing the dark forrest being the only light source expect for the small light on the bedside table. You gazed out the window when you stood up, not wanting to believe that you were in fact surrounded by the deepest forrest you had ever seen, not any other dorm of civilization in sight.
You tip-toed around the room, examining it further, when you suddenly stopped. Music. Music was playing from the bottom floor. You recognized the song. It was a from a jazz vinyl your parents always used to play to you when you were a child.
Your hand rose to your opened mouth, a single tear trickling down your cheek at the familiar sound. You would’ve never found it peculiar that anyone else played this specific song, as it was pretty popular, but with what you had learned about Hongjoong and his stalking tactics so far, you felt goosebumps creeping up your neck.
You heard the sound of someone humming the melody, followed by a few words being exchanged.
Envisioning the living room below you, you were reminded by the events of the night before. You were still wearing that same outfit Hongjoong had picked out for you.
You could practically hear your own screams as you recalled the memory, more tears now exiting your swollen eyes as the song continued to play downstairs.
You quickly wiped your tears away, before walking towards the almost closed door. You made sure to open it as slowly as you could, not wanting to risk making any noise. A creak was heard and you immediately stopped and listened for footsteps, voices, anything. Nothing was heard.
Taking a deep breath through your mouth, you continued to open the door. You wanted to jump in joy when it decided to be silent when you opened it just enough for you to seep through the space.
“My angel,” you heard. You could easily identify it as Hongjoong’s voice. You could tell who it was directed to, having only heard him use that tone with one person before. Seonghwa.
You stood close to the wall before slowly itching closer to the stairs. You tried to properly remember the layout of the house, after only seeing it once, briefly. You knew the stairs led to the living room, meaning that if Hongjoong was there, you were going to be caught if you went down.
You furrowed your eyebrows. There were three other doors on this floor. One seeming to lead to a bathroom, while the others remained unknown. The window in the room you woke up in seemed to have some sort of system, too complicated for you to figure out before getting caught. Surely, not all windows were like that, right?
You slowly walked back into the corridor, heading towards the first room that was not the one you were just in. You tried to open it just as, if not even more carefully as you had the other, still not opening it more than necessary, just enough for you to sneak inside.
Knowing that Seonghwa was downstairs, you figured it was no danger walking in to the other rooms. You had no idea where Yunho was, but you figured he would only help you find an escape if he were to meet you up here.
You snaked yourself inside the gap, almost holding your breath to not make any noise. Your eyes widened as you took in the large room. It was such a contrast to the other room you had been in, the huge bed not being an exception. Your eyes found the window, it too being extraordinary big.
Despite facing the other way, this window also only showed the woods. Where was this place, seriously?
You studied the frame, and noticed it had none of those complicated locks. You were almost shaking with excitement, but soon stopped to take a breath.
What was going to happen to Yunho once you left? Was he going to be tortured endlessly for your wrongdoings? You didn’t even want to think about it.
No. If you got out, you could contact the police and make sure they found him and arrested these two. Your shaky hands reached out to the window. You knew it was pretty high up, but looking down, you saw that it would probably be possible to climb your way down without falling. Well, probably.
You hadn’t noticed the music having stopped playing, too focused on your desperate need to get out, so you didn’t notice the silent footsteps behind you either, as you twisted the handle, getting ready to get yourself out.
Your breath caught in your throat when a large hand covered yours, twisting back the handle harshly, and twisting your wrist in the process, almost making you squeal from the pain. Another hand landed over your mouth, and you felt your body getting pulled into a large chest, arms not wavering despite your constant squirming.
“Shh, it’s me,” a voice whispered. Your head jolted back to find the source. Yunho.
Your eyes widened in confusion. “Please, it’ll just make things easier if you—“
“Well well,” another voice said, making both of your heads snap towards the two men standing in the doorway. Hongjoong stood in front of Seonghwa, whose eyes almost held a sad, betrayed expression. Hongjoong’s eyes however, only made you want to hide away in fear, close your eyes and flee from the reality of the situation. They were filled with pure rage, while his mouth still held an amused smile. As if he enjoyed being this angry.
Yunho’s hands immediately left your body before he took a long step away from you. You glanced at him and felt even more scared now that you had no one to lean on. Hongjoong’s gaze was only fixated on you.
“What an interesting little scene we’ve happened to walk in on, hm?” he said, clearly directing towards Seonghwa, even with his eyes plastered on you. You looked over to Yunho for any kind of ‘help’, but he looked down at the wooden floor instead, avoiding any sort of contact.
Hongjoong gently led Seonghwa into the room before harshly slamming the door behind him, locking it shortly after.
You felt your entire body shake, even though you were well clothed. Beside you, you heard Yunho’s quick breaths, not doing anything to calm you down.
Hongjoong took a few strides towards the two of you, Seonghwa still standing by the door. Now, your eyes had also found the floor, not daring to look anywhere else.
Hongjoong’s feet came into your field of view, and you almost closed your eyes to somewhat brace yourself for what was to come. You lowered your head further, but nothing came. Hongjoong soon walked over to the man standing next to you. Only now did you manage to look up, fearing for Yunho’s life almost, even though it felt as if he had just prevented you from getting yours back.
He had also elevated his gaze, and looked Hongjoong right in the eyes. You wondered how he even dared to.
“What did you do?”
“I prevented her from leaving.”
You felt your bottom lip shivering at their stark and unforgiving voices. In the corner of your eye you spotted Seonghwa, having now sat down on the large bed, silently watching the situation unfold.
“And why did you do that?”
A silence filled the room. You swallowed.
“Because she…”
Yunho’s voice started wavering slightly.
“Because she what?” Hongjoong asked, eyes wider than you had ever seen them before.
“Because she belongs here.”
You shook your head slightly at the words exiting Yunho’s mouth. The shuddering breath leaving your mouth was probably heard by everyone in the room, although no one looked your way.
“That’s right,” Hongjoong praised, his voice suddenly laced with a sort of patronizing and honeyed tone. His hands raised towards Yunho’s head, and you almost darted towards them, but then you noticed the hand’s intent.
Hongjoong’s fingers gently combed through Yunho’s dark locks, pulling it back to reveal his face. With both of his hands tangled in the taller man’s hair, he pulled his head down slightly before letting their lips collide.
You looked at the floor again, and saw the tear falling from your eye to the floor, leaving a small darkened pool on the wood.
“I’m so proud of you,” Hongjoong whispered, but everyone could hear it. “My good boy.”
A quiet sob left your mouth against your will, and even when you kept your eyes on the floor, you could see Hongjoong’s head snapping in your direction. Before you could even react, his hand met your head before slamming it against the wall.
The shock almost outweighed the pain, but after a few seconds, you could feel the aching pounding in your head after the impact.
His fingers found your hair before he pulled you away from the wall harshly, almost causing you to fall. You let out a loud sob at the pain, but soon, a hand was slapped over your mouth. Hongjoong pushed you against the wall once again, this time facing you with his hand over your mouth.
“You,” he said, his voice significantly deeper now. That tone he had just used towards Yunho was long gone. “You ungrateful little brat!”
He slammed you against the wall again, your head taking yet another hit. “Did you really think I left an unguarded and unlocked window so easily accessible to you?” he laughed heartily, while still staring at you with such anger.
“Did you really think that I would just let you escape!?” his tone only got louder and louder, making your legs almost give out from the fear itself.
His hand left your mouth, and you couldn’t even hold back the scream that left you, the pain in your head only growing by the second.
“Shut up!” he yelled, slapping you across the face. You had to admit, the pain from the slap was nothing compared to your head right now, but it was the force of it that made you lose your footing.
You fell to the floor, body slightly leaned against the wall. “What would you have done if you got out, hm? Do you think you would be able to find your way back home!?” he was full on screaming at this point.
“And when you got home, who would be waiting for you? hm? Your parents?” the volume in his voice decreased as he got closer to you, leaning down to talk to you with a low tone.
“They’re glad you’re gone, Y/n. The only person who’ll ever miss you is that pathetic friend of yours, Wooyoung.”
Your eyes widened at the name, your head perking up to meet Hongjoong’s gaze. “Oh! Did you think I didn’t know about your little friend? Your only friend? Oh, it’s okay,” he cooed, looking at your contorted face as you continued sobbing as quietly as you could. “He doesn’t miss you too much.”
In your enraged state, you gained a newfound energy, and raised your leg from where you lay to kick Hongjoong in the stomach. When you expected impact, he managed to dodge your little attack, and backed away from your frustrated self. You let out another weak scream at the pain in your head, your surroundings starting to become blurry.
“Seonghwa,” Hongjoong signaled, and without needing another word to be said, he walked over to Yunho, who had not moved an inch, and led him out of the room, later locking the door behind him. Of course, all the doors needed keys on both sides, this room being no exception.
Just as you felt yourself starting to doze off into unconsciousness, you got kicked in the stomach. You grunted loudly at the sudden pain.
“Oh no no,” Hongjoong said, his voice back to that sweetened, manipulative tone you hated. “I’m far from done with you.”
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
Yunho looked down at his plate of food, not daring to ask any questions. Hongjoong had put on another jazz record he loved, as he happily ate the dinner him and Seonghwa had prepared together. Yunho had watched as they romantically cooked together, kissing each other and acting like a normal couple.
It had been five hours since Hongjoong locked you in the master bedroom.
Hongjoong seemed happier than ever, pinching Seonghwa’s cheek and blinking cutely at Yunho ever so often. While Hongjoong and Seonghwa sat next to each other on the square table, Yunho sat next to an empty spot. The one meant to be occupied by you.
Yunho didn’t know what to think. He didn’t dare think the worst.
Hongjoong had spent hours in that room with you, and ever since that door was locked, Yunho and Seonghwa had to hang out on the bottom floor. Hongjoong and Seonghwa’s bedroom had great isolation, so there was no way of knowing what was going on, but from the sight of Hongjoong’s reddened knuckles, it didn’t seem to be beautiful.
“Aren’t you going to eat, honey?” Seonghwa asked. Yunho looked up at him, offering a small smile. “Sorry I’m not that hungry…”
Seonghwa pouted slightly, and looked over at Hongjoong with a confused face when the shorter man started laughing.
He was continually eyed by the other two when he kept laughing loudly. “Oh Yunho,” he said.
Yunho blinked in confusion. “I can see right through you, y’know?” he laughed. Yunho’s eyes widened.
“I know you’re worried sick about her,” Hongjoong sang, smiling widely. Yunho looked away. “Nothing to be shy about, hey,” Hongjoong comforted, reaching over the table to take Yunho’s hand in his.
“Don’t worry about her. She had it coming,” Hongjoong giggled. Yunho couldn’t even muster a fake smile at the comment. Neither could Seonghwa.
“How long are you planning on?…” Yunho trailed off. Seonghwa gave him a sharp glance.
“You’re asking too many questions,” Seonghwa stated. Yunho looked down in shame. “I’m sorry.”
“Until she’s learned her lesson.”
Yunho looked up. He knew that was the worst answers Hongjoong could’ve provided, but the smile never left Hongjoong’s lips as he uttered those words.

Suguru and I had been planning this vacation for months, eager to escape the stressful missions and life of jujutsu sorcerers, allowing ourselves to immerse in the peacefulness of the countryside. The cottage, nestled by the tranquil lake, was a charming retreat that promised peace and relaxation after all our stress. We arrived just as the golden sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the calm waters. After unpacking our bags and preparing a simple dinner, we stepped out onto the porch to breathe in the crisp night air, the gentle hum of cicadas our only company. The full moon, a luminous orb in the velvet sky, reflected on the lake's surface, turning it into a shimmering mirror of silver light. The thought of a night walk to explore the area was too tempting to resist, so we laced up our shoes and set off into the quiet embrace of the surrounding woods.
"I hate when they cry", I huffed as we walked slowly. "Who's cry?" Suguru asked confused, his eyes searching the darkened woods with a hint of concern. I chuckled, squeezing his upper arm. "The cicadas." He listened intently for a moment, before snorting. We continued our stroll, the moonlight guiding our path.
As we walked deeper into the woods, the sound of the cicadas grew faint, replaced by the rhythmic rustling of leaves beneath our feet. The air grew cooler, carrying with it the scent of damp earth and pine. Suguru, kept a watchful eye on our surroundings, while I drowned in the beauty of the moonlit landscape. Our laughter echoed through the trees as we pointed out peculiar shapes in the shadows cast by the silvery beams. Suddenly, the serenity was pierced by an unmistakable splash from the lake. We froze, our hearts pounding in sync with the night's rhythm. Curiosity piqued, we cautiously approached the water's edge, our eyes scanning the now-disturbed surface for any sign of what had caused the disturbance.
"Suguru... Do you think it's a good idea to stay here?" I asked with a worry in my voice, looking at the ripples that distorted the moon's reflection. Suguru looked at me, his gaze flickering with a mix of curiosity and caution. "Let's just check it out," he whispered, taking a step closer to the lake. The water remained still, but the silence felt heavier as if the night itself was holding its breath. "No, no! Please don't check, it's how people die in horror movies!" I whined looking up to see his face.
Ignoring my pleas for caution, Suguru pulled out his phone, switching on the flashlight to scan the lake. The beam of light danced across the water, revealing the silhouettes of trees and rocks on the other side. Then, it caught something moving, something large and unmistakable. "It's just a loon," he said with a chuckle, the tension vanishing from his shoulders. The bird, having realized it was no longer hidden, let out a call before diving back into the water. "See?" He turned to me, flashing a reassuring smile. "It's just nature doing its thing." "Stupid bird", I huffed when we sat on the fallen tree trunk, "I almost saw the pearly gates."
With our hearts still racing from the unexpected encounter with the loon, we shared a nervous laugh. The adrenaline rush brought us closer together, and we found ourselves leaning into each other, our eyes locking in the soft moonlight. The air grew thicker, charged with a new kind of energy. Before I could protest, Suguru leaned in and pressed his lips to mine, his hand gently cradling the back of my neck. The kiss was slow and tender, starkly contrasting to the chaotic world we had left behind. We made out, our breaths mingling in the cool night air, the moon casting a gentle glow on our faces. For a moment, we forgot about the monsters and curses of our daily lives, lost in the tranquility of the countryside and the warmth of each other's embrace. The lake's surface stilled once more, reflecting our silhouettes as we deepened our kiss, the only sound the distant whisper of the breeze playing with the leaves above us.
Our kiss grew more passionate as we let go of our carefulness, the stress of our lives melting away with each tender brush of our lips. Suguru's hand slid down to hold my hand, his thumb tracing circles on my palm as we breathed in unison. The moon, our silent witness, cast a soft, ethereal light over us, painting our skin in a silver glow. Time stood still as we savored this moment of intimacy, the serenity of the lake a contrast to the intense passion we shared. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves while we kept whispering sweet nothings to ourselves, getting lost in the pure feeling.
As our kiss intensified, the desire to be even closer consumed us. Suguru's hands found the hem of my shirt, gently lifting it over my head, revealing the moon's glow on my bare skin. Our lips never parted, as he worked his way down, his kisses leaving a trail of heat along my neck and collarbone. His touch was tender and exploratory as if discovering me for the first time. In return, my fingers traced the firm lines of his back, feeling the warmth of his skin beneath his shirt. With a soft murmur, I helped him remove it, our bodies pressing together in the warm night air. The moon, still high in the sky, bathed us in its soft light as we slowly undressed each other, our clothes discarded like leaves on the forest floor. Our kisses grew deeper, more insistent, as our bodies melded together. Without a word, Suguru swept me up into his arms, the sudden movement sending a shiver down my spine. His eyes, gleaming with playful mischief, met mine as he stepped into the lake, the water cool against my skin. "What are you doing?" I gasped, but the laughter in his voice was contagious, and soon I found myself giggling as he walked further in. "I've always wanted to do this," he murmured, his eyes never leaving mine as the water reached our waists. The moon's reflection shimmered around us, casting a glow on our faces as we kissed once more, the cold water contrasting the heat between us. Our bodies moved in sync as he held me, the gentle current of the lake swaying us back and forth around our bodies. It felt like a moment of pure bliss, making our kisses grow more passionate with each passing second. The world outside the cottage, the missions and curses, all felt a lifetime away as we shared this moment.
Suguru's strong arms tightened around me, my legs instinctively wrapping around his waist to maintain balance. His hands explored my bare skin, sending waves of pleasure through me, and I gasped as he found my hardened nipples, teasing them with his thumbs. Suguru's hands continued to explore my body, his palms cupping my breasts with a gentle yet firm touch. He rolled my nipples between his thumbs and forefingers, the sensation sending electric jolts of pleasure through my core. I moaned into his mouth, my hips rocking against his growing arousal.
Suguru broke the kiss, his gaze dropping to my chest. He kissed a path down my neck, his hands moving now to fully embrace my breasts. His mouth found my nipple which he sucked gently at first, then with increasing pressure before flicking his tongue against the sensitive peak. I gasped when his tongue sent waves of pleasure through my body. I gripped his hair before he switched to the other one, giving it equal attention as his teeth grazed it. The water around us grew choppy as our movements grew more urgent. Suguru's mouth left my breasts to kiss back my neck, leaving hickeys while his hands guided me to straddle him more firmly. I could feel the tip of his dick pressing against my entrance, and the anticipation was killing me. He bit my neck as he pushed just the tip of his dick inside me, the cold water of the lake rippling around us. My walls clenched around him as he stopped, savoring the feeling.
Biting his bottom lip, Suguru pushed his dick in one swift move, his tip hitting my cervix and sending a wave of pleasure mixed with pain that filled my body. My moan echoed through the quiet night, mingling with the distant sounds of the forest and the occasional splash of water. His movements grew more desperate, the water around us splashing with his rhythm. Each thrust sent a jolt of glee through me, my nails digging into his shoulders as I held on tightly. Our kisses grew more desperate with our lips crashing into each other while we chased the pleasure. Suguru's hands gripped my hips as he buried himself deeper with each powerful stroke. With each passing moment, his strokes grew more powerful and desperate, his grip on my hips tightening, almost bruising my skin. My body was on fire, the pain from Suguru's fingers digging into my soft skin was sending me closer to the edge. I could hear his muffled breaths growing ragged against my neck which was now covered with hickeys and bite marks.
"You're so fucking tight," he grunted against my neck, his hips moving quicker and more forcefully beneath me. "I can feel every inch of you," he groaned, his teeth grazing my earlobe before biting down gently. "You're going to come for me, aren't you?" he whispered, his voice ragged. My breaths grew shallow, my body trembling as I approached climax, the tension coiling tighter with every stroke when he hit my sweet spot. The overwhelming pleasure filled my body, my pussy clenching tightly around his dick as I mewled out his name, looking at him with glossy eyes, before he pushed his dick inside me, making me squirt all over him. The warm liquid spurted between us, mixing with the cool lake water as my pussy clenched tightly around his cock. "Fuck, yes," he murmured, his grip on my hips bruising as he held me in place, his cock pulsing deep inside me. His thrusts grew erratic, his breaths coming in harsh pants as he chased his own release. "You're going to milk me dry," he rasped, his voice thick with need. "Look at me," he demanded, squishing my cheeks and pulling my face closer to his. "Look at me as I fill your pussy." I looked up, my eyes locking with his as his strokes grew more intense, his words of how good it felt only heightened my sensitivity. "You're so fucking beautiful when you come," he moaned before his warm cum filled me, my pussy greedily gripping his cock as he emptied himself inside me.
Suguru didn't stop moving his hips as he came, his cock pushing deeper with each spurt of cum that filled me up. "You're so fucking perfect," he murmured, his eyes hooded with pleasure. "Your pussy is so tight, it's like it's made for me." We stayed like that for a moment, his lips leaving soft kisses on bite marks and hickeys that he left on me. The only sound was the quiet lapping of the lake water against our skin. I held him tightly, our hearts racing, as our shallow breaths filled the silence. The moon's light reflected off the water around us, a silent witness to our passion. "I've wanted to do this for so long," he spoke softly, his voice thick with satisfaction. "And it was worth every second of waiting." I smiled, my cheeks flushed, knowing that this was just the beginning of a week filled with us going wild.
