Callista Lorne (ローン カリスタ) is the sixth child and youngest daughter of the Adler Clan’s Head Household. Callista is the daughter of Catalina, wife of Ajax, the Head of the Demon Eagles.

Callista is a stunning young woman. She has curly black hair that fades from gray to white as it reaches it's end. Typically pulled back from her face, her hair reaches to about the middle of her back. All throughout her hair are feathers, which are actually part of her - rather than just decoration. Her eyes are an intense pale green color. On the side of her head, black horns curl out and up.

While in her human form, the horns on her head vanish. Her hair changes to a brown consistent color, with the feathers still visible. Her eyes also change to a darker of black color.

Callista typically dresses in flowing clothes, favoring dresses over anything else. She enjoys the freedom they offer. When not in a dress, she perfumers to wear as little clothing as possible - hating anything too constricting.

Personality:

Callista has a rather calm and upbeat personality. She can be oblivious to certain things, but tends to catch on rather quickly when it comes to intellectual topics. Callista is a deceive person, who thinks things through and makes informed decisions. While having been raised as both the youngest and oldest in the same house hold, she is neither spoiled rotten or feels compelled to be overbearing towards others.

Since her family would travel often, Callista has been exposed to many different cultures in the Human and Demon Worlds. She is very conscious of others and is always eager to learn about new things. Possessing a curious mind, Callista can often be found reading and journeying her new understanding of things.

History:

Since the Adler Clan sided with the winners of the Millennial War of Demons and The Kings - they were granted the privileges of being in the Demon King's royal council. The current clan leader, Ajax has held his role since his father past after the War. Since that time, the clan has enjoyed the benefits and freedom it brings.

The Adler Clan is large, with most families having anywhere from four to over ten children. Although, none of them stay in one place too often. This was set into motion by their ruler. Ajax rules his people from a distance, allowing them a chance to spread their own wings and dictate their own lives - within reason.

When their first child was born, Ajax and his wife decided to continue this idealism of eternal freedom. Every child after, was raised the same. Traveling often. Nesting only when there was a new baby. After the birth of their fifth child, the couple waited before having another. The arrival of Callista was a shock to all of them - but they were excited none the less. She was treasured above all things, being the youngest.

During her childhood, Callista was exposed to many different forms of life. Traveling both in the Human world and through the Makai. She was raised with the proper manners and etiquette, while also being allowed to do whatever she pleased. Her parents and siblings were all quite protective.

She grew to have a love of the world. A love for learning. Always asking questions. When she was well into her school years, the first of her younger brothers came. He would kick start a long line of boys, as the once pampered little girl was made into the helpful older sister.

Callista enjoyed her life at home, though she longed for the day when she could leave it. To be free like her older siblings. These dreams however, would be changed, as the news that Karlheinz request her hand for his eldest son. None of her siblings had ever been married off, but it seemed that her father was unable to refuse the Vampire's Ruler.

Powers/Abilities:

Superhuman Strength

Like all demons, Callista has inhuman stamina, a more resilient body, can move very quickly and has an enhanced sense of hearing and smell. Demons are also resistant against all human viruses.

Shapeshifting

Callista can transform into a human appearance so that she can blend into the Human World. She can stay human for many days, weeks, months or even years, depending on how much blood she has consumed.

Transformation

Being of the purest Adler bloodline, Callista is able to transform into an eagle during the night of a full moon. Outside of those nights, she is able to change parts of her body for a small amount of time.

Enhanced Senses

While all demons poses enhanced hearing and smell, Adler posses the keenest sight of all.

Limited Magic

Callista did not spend much time studying magic, so she does not know how to do much. However, she does have a natural affinity for it, as most high demons do.

Flight

Adlers posses the ability to levitate and even fly.
