seungcheol : gifts, physical touch

no bc have you guys seen this man spoiling yoon jeonghan. he does not HESITATE to shower his loved ones with gifts and he also loves receiving gifts (bro can get so petty if he doesn’t receive gifts on his birthday) and it’s not in a conceited, materialistic way. he likes the whole process of considering what you might want/need, going out of his way to go out and shop for it, wrapping it and packaging it, and delivering it into your hands. he loves that entire process and he loves the way your face lights up when you pull out his gift ‘how did you know i wanted this?!’ oh he feels SO proud and he’s filled with that warm, fuzzy feeling whenever he gives gifts. and vice versa! he can get emotional when he receives gifts, imagining the other person going thru that same process of finding a gift for him. 

physical touch!! i’ve got eyes bro don’t even try to hide it. he’s the youngest son in his family so i’m sure he’s used to being doted on and being the maknae (my reasoning for why his third would be words of affirmation). and i’ve noticed that since he has an older brother, his physical touch can get.. aggressive at times. like he’s still a schoolboy at heart (at least some part of him) and has a sense of mischief that he doesn’t show often bc he’s the leader of 12, but roughhousing is js a part of him esp since he grew up with an older brother (victim: lee chan) but this man loves skinship like i think he’s always holding hands or leaning on a member in every gose ep or any other content. he simply finds comfort in his partner’s presence (platonic or romantic, doesn’t matter) and wants to be with them at all times

jeonghan : physical touch, words of affirmation

i personally think yoon jeonghan is our resident king of physical touch. he loves putting his head on members’ shoulders (smth that made me sob the first time i noticed where can i get a yoon jeonghan) and he’s also one of the members who i think is always initiating some sort of physical contact with the others in gose episodes and any other content (if deemed appropriate). and he also likes to have an emotional support object in his hand (his hammer is so fucking cute) so i think when you guys go out on dates and stuff he always has his pinky interlocked with yours or smth. like he js needs to feel you at all times to know that you’re there. BIGGEST CUDDLE BUG but doesn’t like to admit it. after he thinks you fall asleep, he would cuddle up against you and nuzzle his face into your neck. he would entwine his fingers with yours and wrap yours and his arms around your waist and js cuddle you i’m literally gonna cry

i’ve noticed that jeonghan’s constantly complimenting and reassuring members but knows when to do it jokingly and when to be serious and when it’s needed. we all know that he’s always checking up on the other members and making sure that they’re doing okay, and if they ever have a problem, he’s always willing to listen. i think he’s a really good listener and has super fast 눈치 which idk how to explain in english. like he picks up on things super quick and i think he’s one of the smartest members in terms of ’street smart’. like he notices small things super quick and picks up on them really fast. that + his fast brain + smart mouth = him knowing what to say at the spur of the moment to make the other person feel better. jeonghan who immediately applauds whenever junhui does anything. and when jeonghan receives compliments, i think he kinda deflects and downplays it (mostly as a joke) like that one time in ttt and hoshi was like “this is really good, jeonghan” to jeonghan after he cooked some beef and jeonghan said “beef tastes good no matter who cooks it” with a joking tone but i’m so sure my man was grinning like a child on the inside and feeling shy. OH LIKE THE CAMPING TTT when they started talking about how much jeonghan cares for the team and he got all shy and covered his face like, my sweet sweet baby (he’s 27)

joshua : gifts, words of affirmation

i think the members mentioned that joshua is a gift giver and is consistent with bday gifts (but considering the track record of the rest of the group, i’m gonna assume that the bar is on the floor..) like rich LA boy went shopping and spotted something that reminds him of you so he bought it and brings it home with a proud smile. ‘ta da! i saw it at the mall today and it reminded me of you’ oh i think this is pretty big in korean culture, but my boy would be so careful not to spend too much on luxurious gifts that cost thousands bc he knows that it can get burdensome even though you both know that he makes enough to buy you anything you want. oh and his recent love for making bead bracelets!! this is a lot less materialistic but he loves making bead bracelets for the people he loves. him taking the time to make a bracelet for you, picking out your favorite colors as he imagines what your initial reaction would be when you see it 💔 he js loves spoiling the people he loves because they mean the world to him and what better way is there to show them that than through gifts??? you’re his entire world so the least he can do is you give you some piece of the universe. (this was more romantic in my head)

immediately thought of that one clip of drunk shua and sober vernon from in the soop where shua was drunk (he’s so fucking cute) and they go to sleep and shua’s like “good night i love you” and vernon’s like “hmm i %@#%#$^ you too” and shua’s like “why aren’t you saying it back >:(“ and so vernon says i love you too and shua goes “really?” and you can literally hear the SMILE IN HIS VOICE GOD I’M CRYINGGGG like when he’s worried or anxious, hearing someone tell him that he’s doing great and there’s nothing to worry about puts his heart at ease (jeonghan comforting shua during the carnival gose ep) but besides that js hearing simple messages like “you’re so special to me” “you deserve every compliment” “thank you for being here” etc etc i think joshua is one of the members who tend to repress their emotions more, so i think hearing/reading these short messages mean a lot to him

Why did a simple game turn into a dating show?

«What games are we doing today?» -DK said once all members lined up in front of an elementary school, ready to film. «I'm so excited» - Mingyu jumped caught up in the excitement, hugging Daisy beside him, who was as excited as he was since she was hoping for the return of Going Seventeen full of games that last time saw Jun and Minghao absent.

«Wait a minute» -Hoshi pulled out a slipper from the backpack he carried on his shoulders. «Do you want to see who throws it furtherst?» - He replied looking at the camera. «Oh okay let's play shoe-toss. That's sounds fun.» - Woozi said, the slippers lover.

«Ok Coups let's go first!!» - Dino the team leader of the "Lee I know" team began to make decisions and Scoups immediately got into position, it seemed as if the Oldest and Youngest roles had reversed. «Go!- Oh you're bad» - Daisy said teasing the opposing team, seeing that the slipper was not thrown far. «Ah you go then, let's see how good you are!» - Coups began to sulk as usual, pointing his finger at Daisy. «Yes watch and learn, count to 3!» - Daisy picked up the slipper and concentrated on aiming as far as she could. «1...2...3!» - And in a second they were all on the ground in laughter. «I'm so sorry» Daisy came running up to Seungcheol, as she hit him on the head with her throw. But by now it was nothing new for Coups to take blows to the head when recording a GoSe. «Hey! And you thought you were good!»- - «Maybe we'd better change the game before someone ends up in the hospital» - Seungkwan said making everything come together.

«Let's play scarecrow» - Jeonghan was now improvised himself as MC of the game and pulled everyone closer toward an iron bar.

«This is a pull up bar» - Hoshi said and Jeonghan nodded «Listen carefully. Here's the rules: jump from the bar yelling "scare" and then jump three times saying "crow scare crow". If you touch someone you lose. Is everything clear?» - He explained the rules and received a "yes" from everyone.

«Hoshi since you are handy with pull up bars show how it is done» - Mingyu said referring to Spider's choreography and Hoshi, very quickly went on with the game. «I want to do it!» - Daisy said raising her arms to hold on to the bar, and Minghao went behind her to hold her from the sides to help her, but also to make sure that the school skirt she was wearing didn't move. «Can you do it?» - Minghao said before letting her go, and Daisy shook her head up and down intending that she was ready. «Scare!» - Daisy gave herself a push and managed not to fall once she jumped «Crow-Scare-Crow!» she concluded by doing the three jumps and placing herself not too far from the bar, and everyone applauded her [Seventeen love their little Daisy].

«Okay Minghao go next!» - Jeonghan urged since Minghao was behind the bar. «Scare! aaand Crow-Scare» - He made two jumps and he was behind Daisy «Crow!» -He jumped the last one and wrapped his arms behind Daisy's back, giving her a back hug. «Huh?» - Daisy exclaimed taken aback by the action she didn't expect. «Are you stupid?» - Jun pointed at him «Hey Minghao did you understand the rules?»- Jeonghan continued while the two of them were still motionless hugging «I think he figured it out but he prefers Daisy over the game» - Mingyu said making everyone laugh and so Minghao moved putting himself behind Mingyu's back, hiding in embarrassment while Daisy was covering her face with her hands so the blush on her cheeks wouldn't show.

«But I lost too now?» - Daisy recomposed herself again with her head in the clouds. «No» - Jeonghan told her «But he touched me» - «You didn't lose»- Jeonghan insisted «Yes, but Minghao touched me so I lost, right?» - Daisy couldn't understand «Why doesn't anyone listen to what I say! Do whatever the f#ck you want then!» [such harsh words] Jeonghan lost his patience by raising his voice, but no one could keep from laughing and to hear him shouting swear words, even the staff was taken aback. «Hannie oppa, forgive me! My bad! I didn't lose!"» - Daisy gave him a thumbs-up and a wink «Moving onto the next!».

After playing two more games, Seventeen were losing their energy--but also their pants. «Wait a minute guys, my pants just-just ripped» - Vernon covered his butt with a jacket and everyone came up to him. «Really?» - Daisy lifted his jacket to show the rip to the camera «What are you doing you pervert!» - «Just giving Carats some contents!.»

«Why don't we play Green Light Red Light! Jun wanted to play it» - Wonwoo said remembering Best Friend Going Seventeen, «Oh right!» Junhui's eyes lit up «Okay though pose with the choreography of Limbo, please» - Junhui looked just like a happy child, it was the perfect episode for him. «Green Light Red Light!» - He turned to the other 13 all wobbly and posing differently. «Daisy and Minghao come here!» -He pointed to the two «What?!, but I didn't move!» - «I am standing still!» - «You heard me!Come here at least you can hold hands!». «Hey! Wen Junhui be serious!» - Minghao scolded him with a grin on his face. «Is this Going Seventeen or Single's Inferno?».

MA YZAAAA <3 (hehehe)

first of all,, hello <33 how have you been? and what have you been up to? <3 i hope classes and uni in general are not getting to you that much.

also the drama i told you about "doom at your service", after finishing it my opinion has changed a little, it was a nice drama overall but after the first 8, the story seemed like it was being stretched for no reason </3 i have nothing to watch these days hdksekks this time last year i had 2521 and business proposal to keep myself entertained but this year there is nothing 😭 even gose isn't here </3, did you find something interesting to watch? or read? i haven't had time and will to read hsjsksjs </3

but today i did go out of my comfort zone and watched a movie called medianeras (sidewalls), it's pretty melancholic but i liked it, ( idk why google or some reviews are saying it's funny or rom com 😭, it was actually sad and reflective but had a good ending imo) it's about how urban and internet lifestyle have had the opposite effect on people and have made them feel lonely despite having everything in one click. it was,, different. probably something what i was expecting from chunking express jshdjsjsnns

but in midst of all this i love love how booseoksoon came through 🥺 they brought back the spark hdjddj i love all the songs ( tho just like you, i love fighting and 7pm a little bit more than lunch ), it was so wholesome to see them have fun performing 😭 also youngji's feature fits so well <3 i can't stop talking about it hskdks it felt so natural <3 i haven't been this satisfied with a feature song in a long while ( same with 7pm ). if there was anything else fighting! needed it was definitely her. it made me so happy to see bss performing with her and peder <33

I made it to 2023…

Even though I thought, wished, and tried so hard not to, I made it to the current year. And I’ll probably make it to my 22s, which is in two weeks. It’s been hard, but I made it. I’m making it.

And of course, I’m not doing it alone. I have my family behind my back. I have doctors, I have my medication. A bunch of stuff that is here making sure I won’t end myself prematurely. But if you ask me to point out what has been keeping me going, I couldn’t answer anything else but you.

Yes, you. The thirteen of you.

You came to my life in the moment I needed the most. No longer with a partner to display all the love I have in my soul on, getting to know each of you guys fulfilled my need for affection. I have always been a romantic person. I’ve always loved to love people. And loving you is so easy.

You made me genuinely laugh when I thought I would never smile ever again. You were my company when I couldn’t rely on my friends for emotional support. And you were also what brought me and one of my best friends closer. Him and I have been each other’s shoulders since then. Thank you, Seventeen, for giving me him.

The way you care for each other is so beautiful to watch. It makes me think it is worth living. Because if I live long enough I can find a family like yours. And I’m so happy life put you together. All those years in that green walled basement were worth something. The bond you guys have is rare. I envy that. And I say that in the most endearing way possible.

I’m so proud of being a CARAT. So proud of having you all to look up to. Being in any environment that allows me to connect with you, be it listening to your music out loud or watching GoSe, brings me so much joy.
