This one is based on Flogging Molly's 'Raise What's Left of the Flag for Me', so much so that I used a kareoke version of the audio as a backing track for my singing…which could be better but I am tired and didn't realize how high pitched i was until after I had like FIVE screwed up attempts so this is the version youse are getting.

I chose this song because it is very much about bitterness in the face of death but still managing to find some semblance of life inside of that bitterness, which I think fits the Mechs very well. It's basically saying that the guy the song is about is dead, but his friends and fellow soldiers should keep fighting the good fight of fucking people over because the world has fucked them over. VERY mechs to me. I also like the idea that Jonny's death kinda invigorated the crew a little bit, because now they know their existence will end. They're out of limbo, and it's because of a little bastard. so cheers to ya Jonny, I'm glad you had your last laugh.
