I've been watching the Black Butler anime lately and I have a lot of opinions 😂 I do wanna read the manga again, I haven't read it since 2012, but for now, the anime is what I have time for 😭 Anyways! It's only fair that I drew everyone's favorite butler, Sebastian Michaelis, so for this week's Sketch Sunday, have a hell of a sketch 🤵🏻🙇🏻

hey remember that black butler s1 episode about the ice sculpting competition where sebastian got jealous that someone else made undertaker laugh??

did we all just forget that this violent, bloodthirsty, self-proclaimed emotionless beast got so upset about undertaker finding someone else hilarious, and realising he wasn't needed to make undertaker laugh this time. i can't stop thinking about this

Rat's is named Kukuru, because she's brown like chocolate. She's an Ishgardian chocobo that wasn't exactly black enough to be marketed as an "Ishgardian Black Chocobo".

Michi's chocobo's name is more meta and pretty convoluted at this point. Back when I named the chocobo the character was a mito'te based on my mithra in FFXI, and when I played FFXI there was this galka paladin named Yoshihiro on my server who I would always see digging with his chocobo in Sangolii desert, so it was the first name that came to mind when I was choosing one for my FFXI inspired character. Eventually I fant'd the character to Michi but the name Yoshihiro still phonetically fit with a hingashi au ra so it stayed.

Gabi's is named Arrow because he thought it sounded cool. Thing is Gabi and Li stole and raised Arrow together and everyone in the Bhaapu family had a different name for the bird. Gabi was the one who ended up keeping it though, so the name's Arrow.

I also have two NPC characters who I chose chocobo names for.

Hancock's is named Dodorito. Beatin's in named Balsa.

I've seen a couple of people share their WoL's chocobo's names so far, and they're all ready cute, so I'm gonna take advantage of my platform to ask:

What's your WoL's chocobo's name?

I'll start: mine is Edwin! Because he kinda looks like an Edwin.

Edited to Add (Because I didn't even think about this last night, lol): I have two alts that have unlocked chocobos! One of the alts is Patia Por'co from Exandria Unlimited: Calamity, so I named her chocobo Avalir after the flying city from that same series. The other alt is based on one of my D&D characters, and his chocobo is named Phalanges after one of the party's two horses (he is solely focused on eating fingers).
