For the mermaid AU - what (if anything) is this universe's version of Aideen's Gift, aka the magic bond with horses? Are there water horses of some kind, or does it translate into something different?

the magic bond between horses and humans remains the same but only starbreeds get to turn into water horses, and there are water horses (the magic ones have 3 forms now in the au) but are very rare due to garnok stuff ( nom nom ) also not related but the statue in jorvik city is now a mermaid because I like the idea that aideen is a centaur in normal sso so shes now a magic water centaur ( redesign in progress)
