Matt’s having a complete blast at the Seaduction event! He’s drinking, dancing and talking to just about everyone who crosses his path. A fresh drink lands in his hand and he shoots a text at his date to see where he’s at. They’ve kept their relationship on the DL due to the public eye but managed to have an incredible afternoon together. Hopefully they’ll get some alone time on the boat, one that doesn’t draw any attention to them as his date hasn’t come out to the public or his parents yet.

Dancing over to someone he asked, “Having fun?” He’s a bit tipsy and happy. It’s impossible to not feel the happy energy that exudes off the music and everyone there. “Have you tried these cocktails? They are strooooooong.”

Aksel was glad Matt had asked him to come to the event, he finally felt part of something and didn't feel the need to hide away. It was a great event and the boat looked beautiful and welcoming. The bar was decked out in hearts and Aksel enjoyed the romance of it all  He watched people socialise and party as he waited for his and matts drinks to be made. Typically Aksel had gone for the most bizarre, romantic named drinks with all the sparklers and umbrellas. He caught Matt’s eye and smiled. He was so handsome and it made Aksel feel at ease. “ they are almost ready” He mouthed to his boyfriend as the barman carried on making the drinks, He turned and saw someone next to him and smiled. “ Hey, having a good night?” He asked “ I love this boat, its such a cool event.”

He was distracted tonight for sure. Ale was making it hard to think about anything other than their budding romance and he was struggling to figure out how to do that right. Liam knew he was bound to fuck is up at some point and the idea of hurting Ale made him sick to his stomach. Or maybe it was the waves. “Sorry, I’m listening. I think I’m just a little seasick so don’t mind me if I look pale and distracted.” Liam offered as an excuse as to why he was looking a little like he might pass out.

Luke had been dancing all night and he was feeling exhausted, more so than he expected to be honestly, so he’d excused himself from his date and gone to take a seat outside of the banquet room so get some air. He watched as the Seattle coast glittered in the distance, the yacht out on the sound with the wind lapping at them and he sighed to himself. This wasn’t a normal way to feel after just dancing all night and it was worrying him a little. He heard footsteps behind him and looked up at the figure approaching. “Needed some air too?”

Niko wasn’t exactly the warmest person on planet earth, but he was genuinely a pretty nice guy even if that wasn’t always evident. Maybe he should smile more, he did have a pretty fucked up resting bitch face. As he pulled out his chair at the table he’d been instructed to find his name at, he glanced at the guy beside him. “Is this the singles table? I wonder if it’s like the equivalent of the kids table at thanksgiving.” Niko sat down and offered a hand to the gentleman next to him. “I’m Niko. I won’t bother you if you’re here on a date though so no worries.”

“It would be tacky to take my shoes off and just dance barefoot right? Like my mother would literally wipe my existence off the face of the earth tacky?” She was so bored of the perfect little barbie doll image though and the idea of doing anything her mother wouldn’t approve of always brought her a little bit of joy these days. “It’s just that these shoes are like, so cute but also I think I might fall down if I try to dance in these after my three glasses of wine.” Kacie giggled and leaned against Harlow for support. “Where’s Jay? Is he seasick? Oh my god that would ruin his whole night I hope he’s not seasick.”

He had a sleepover and he was gonna have a fun night with his friends so it was her turn. She waited at the entrance to the cruise, she pulled her phone out nervously checking to make sure Nate hadn’t cancelled.

“And who do we have here?” Matt asked as he walked away from the buffet with a small plate of golden fried goodness, something small to tied him over before dinner. “I was wondering if you’ll make it out to this. I know how busy you are with the restaurant.” Matt said as he went towards Laela. It appeared her attention was towards the water as the yacht slowly went on whatever set path for this evening. “Egg roll?” he asked as he lifted his plate to her. “Hows the restaurant going? You? Sorry I haven’t been around to annoy you lately. Life’s been busy on my end. A good busy.” he said, feeling he needs to tack that last bit on.

Aksel was nervous. He was stuck between two worlds and ​it was getting to the point where he was tired of hiding things. He stood on deck watching the people dance drink and love, it was something he had only just felt with Matt and now he had a choice. Hide the best thing that had ever happened to him or tell the world and whether the storm. He gazed out to sea and heard a laugh and looked to see Matt giggling with friends.  That's when an Idea hit him.  He slipped into the party and asked the Dj to play an 80′s power ballad. The Dj gave the thumbs up and Aksel went back out to the quiet cool deck which was empty. He then smiled to himself and text Matt

Aksel : Can you meet me out on deck? xx

At best Matt would find it romantic, at worst he would find it funny that Aksel had found an eighties song that was one of the power ballads that he had heard on  the Karate kid movie. It was nostalgic and it made him smile.  When Matt came out on deck, Aksel lent again the rail and smiled at him. “ Hey handsome.” He walked over to him as the beginning of Glory of Love began to play. “ I know you are being a social butterfly, but I found the best 1980s song and I just wanted to dance with you.” He said softly and pulled him close.

Aksel smiled down at Matt and held him close and hummed along to the song and when the chorus broke Aksel sang along and the kissed Matt. “ So I was thinking.. “ He murmured against his lips. “ This dating each other/ seeing how it goes thing... its not really working for me. I want more. So..” He took a breath and smiled. “  I think there's no better night of me coming out then tonight. I’m sick of hiding and you shouldn't have to keep this quiet for me.” He breathed and gazed at him. “ I love you Matt. I always have, and I always will. And I want to spend forever laughing at your jokes, watching eighties movies and cartoons, dancing around to Madonna, eating ice cream from the tubs, falling asleep on the couch to the golden girls, going to church on Sunday after eating cereal and reading the newspapers and having steamy morning showers with you.” He took his chin in his hand and smiled at him. “ so what do you say? Want to make it official and be my boyfriend in a 1980′s end of a romantic movie style?”

This was a real date and that meant it was important to do it right. Ale deserved to be treated like a fucking prince and he knew that no one had ever done that for him before so he was trying. He was really trying. Which is why he had a button up shirt with a bow tie and a stupid pair of second hand dress pants that were a bit too snug on. “You want to drink tonight or should we just inhale half the dessert table to curb the cravings?” He had his hand on the small of Ale’s back as they walked across the room to where the tables were set up for each couple and found the one with their names on it. “You cold? You can have my jacket if you are. I’m fucking sweating.” Nerves mostly as it was freezing out on that ship.

“I cant believe you didn’t tell me you were coming alone, Al.” Luke shook his head as he met Alex at the dessert bar and snagged a brownie. “I could have set you up with one of the guys from the team. You know half of them are obsessed with you. Always asking me why you and I aren’t dating.” He’d thought about it once or twice in his life but it wasn’t worth ruining his friendship with Alex if it didn’t work out. “You want me to introduce you to someone? A couple of them are here.”

“What’s the game plan for tonight? Get drunk and find me a hottie to go home with? Because that’s my plan.” Chrissy stated as she finished her glass of rosé and turned over her shoulder to scope out the room. She’d come single tonight and was kind of regretting that decision already since it seemed like a lot of people were coupled up. “Maybe showing up single to a couples thing was a bad choice.” But it beat going out to the bars to find some sad lonely prick who wouldn’t even buy her a drink.

He wasn’t sure what he was even doing here tonight because Niko didn’t have a date and didn’t have a shot in hell with the girl he was crazy about. But he’d showed up anyway in a stupid button up and a tie and he was leaning against a wall watching people dance when he spotted Jamie out of the corner of his eye. “I should have picked an event to come to where I wouldn’t have been stuck on a fucking yacht in the sound when I decided I wanted to bail early.” The cruise was nice, honestly, but he was only being reminded of how stupidly single he was right now. Not to mention watching Joey talking and laughing with some dude across the way was making his stomach turn.
