She-Ra characters’ favorite movies!!! This one will probably be pretty controversial.
Adora: Alien. But she gets scared and has to cuddle with Catra (that’s her favorite part).
Catra: Predator. She can’t tell who she’s rooting for half the time though.
Glimmer: Captain Harlock: Space Pirate. She loves the aesthetic.
Bow: Star Wars. He’s very opinionated on the watch order.
Perfuma: Up in Smoke (never gonna let that joke go)
Mermista: Knives Out (but she’s waiting for the MerMysteries movie franchise)
Sea Hawk: The Princess Bride. He fancies himself Westley.
Scorpia: She’s a MCU fan and can’t pick her favorite of them.
Double Trouble: They hate watch Master of Disguise regularly.
Entrapta: Pacific Rim. Giant mechs! Fighting! Tech!
Hordak: Sleepless in Seattle. He loves romcoms!
Madame Razz: Primer. To her the plot is very straightforward, predictable, and linear
Shadow Weaver: Matilda. She has no idea why such wonderful and caring parents were so maligned!
Frosta: Godzilla movies. She has plans for an ice kaiju once she gets better at controlling her powers.
Micah: Star Trek: Wrath of Khan. He and Bow get into arguments about the better franchise and Glimmer has to tear them apart.
Kyle: Scott Pilgrim vs. the World - He fancies himself Scott. He isn’t.
Kadroh: Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. He loves how wrong it is about the universe!
Melog: The Aristocats. ‘Nuff said.
Netossa and Spinnerella: Lord of the Rings. They watch the Extended Editions together at least once a year.
Horde Prime: Horde Prime The Movie: A Horde Prime Production by Light Of Horde Prime Studios

gonna be basic and ask top 5 animals :)
Ahh I LOVE this! Thank you honey!
1. TIGERS tigers tigers tigers TIGERRRRSSS
Beautiful, terrifying, sleek, iconic, mournful, gorgeous, somehow also cute?? I love them.
2. Birds!! No specific kind—though I love ducks and bluebirds and cardinals and hawks. All birds are great. I love to watch them.
3. Sea-otters. They are as cute as people say. Though I went to an aquarium in Seattle a few weekends ago and just watched this seal swim in the most mesmerizing pattern for about 10 minutes straight. I love all sea creatures. Want to stare at them for hours.
4. Dogs. Definitely not all dogs and I’m wary more often than not when meeting a new one but they’ve just been part of my life for so long and I have affection for them and I love them especially when they stick their heads out of car windows and I see them in passing.
5. Oooof I’m running low on the list now ………..but I mean Horses. They are beautiful and Romantic and where would movies and stories and fairy tales be without them. Not to mention the Horse Girl movie.
#cakeyouareoh#I love to contemplate animals from a safe distance in the right setting#love zoos. love aquariums#also giraffes because giraffes are INSANE#thinking about the Horse Book Series I was obsessed with

Marin Headlands
15 February 2023
I suppose I could have parked on the Marin side, but I really wanted to include the bridge, so I parked at the west end of Chrissy Field near Fort Point. The ride ended up covering 25 miles and and involved 3000’ of climbing. The contrast between the tourist-filled sidewalk on the Golden Gate and the almost empty dirt roads high up in the hills was part of what made this ride so cool.
The big climb from the north end of the bridge to the old gun battery at Hawk Hill was made easier by good bike lanes, smooth pavement, and plenty of excuses to stop and enjoy the view of the Golden Gate and the city behind it.
The descent from Hawk Hill was spectacular, on a one-lane, one-way road with perfect pavement. There were almost no cars, but it didn’t really matter, since they wouldn’t have been going any faster than me. The first part was awfully steep and a little scary.
My ride returned to sea level at Rodeo Beach, but then went back up the hill for a pleasant loop on old pavement above Fort Cronkite. Cars aren’t allowed and pedestrians are on a different trail.
This ride was all highlights, but one of the best was the 5-mile loop up around the top of Gerbode Valley. I climbed about 1000’ on the Bobcat Trail circled the aircraft radio beacon on the ridge, then came back down on the Miwok Trail. This was all on narrow dirt and gravel roads that are off limits to vehicles. I saw just a few hikers and maybe a dozen cyclists (a couple on gravel bikes like me, but most on mountain bikes). Miwok was steep near the top and badly rutted in places from January’s rains. It might have been better to reverse this loop, climbing on Miwok and descending on the smoother, gentler grade of Bobcat.
The views from the ridge were incredible, from Mount Tamalpais (2021 Ride) to Mount Diablo (a future ride), including the towns of Marin County, downtown San Francisco, and south over the Sunset and farther down the coast. To the east, I could make out the open, green ridge above Berkeley and Richmond where I rode just two? days ago.
Once I got back to pavement, the final leg was pretty easy. I had the outbound (and downhill) tunnel on Bunker Road to myself. Then it was back across the bridge and the views of San Francisco and the Bay.
The last time I pedaled across this bridge, I was on my way to Seattle. (LINK)

Seattle Seahawks
Geno and the Seahawks were the "out of nowhere" team with a chip on thier shoulders. Geno became a top 15 QB with Russell Wilson exit. Pete Carroll has the same motto...run the ball down your throat and pop off on occasional down field play. The defense is a middle of the road but not pushover unit. The question on this team is 1. Can they build or match the success they had last year? 2. RB wise, is the rookie Charbonnet gonna be a thing once the inevitable Kenneth Walker injury comes around. Answering number 1, Lockett & DK still are low end WR 2 options. The issue is how consistent. For number 2, Ken Walker is already dealing with nagging injuries (go figure). The one absolutely constant in a sea of variables is Pete Caroll WILL run the ball heavy and often. By the way, the Hawks can still factor in this division with 49ers a clear 1st but the wildcard potential is intriguing.
Washington Commanders
Gotta update this logo. The commanders draft Howell. The defense you would think should have taken strides forward but as a whole, Chase Young and company have been largely average. TE Logan Thomas is back from injury and McLaurin is dealing with a toe issue. Unfortunately for him, if it's turf toe - it will effect him all season long. Jahan Dotson is the sneaky play on this offense but remember a rookie is at the helm. A plus is Eric Beinemy is a more than competent offensive coordinator that should get some juice out of this vanilla offense. Defensive head coach Ron Rivera now has a prodigy at the helm of scoring points. Results may come but slowly depending if Howell is the answer at QB.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Trevor Lawrence and the crew now have Calvin Ridley. A true number 1 WR to build upon a Cinderella type season with Kirk serving as #1. Kirk should still be considered but Calvin will eat trust. Etienne is the guy. Though Tank Bisby may have more of share as the season progresses. I anticipate Jags to be a playoff team despite the defense plateau. Doug Pederson should have this team rolling. Evan at TE and Zay Jones as WR3 on this team will be the roster depth you will count on once injuries and bye weeks come into play.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs have fell into obscurity but don't tell them that. Brady retired is a void but the team, as a whole, is largely intact. Godwin and Evans as a WR duo are still viable. Issue will be Bakers consistency play or lack thereof. May-Bay has more options than he has ever had in two tiered WRs at his disposal. What he can do with it is up to him. Cade Otton is the clear #1 TE and Rashaad White has his chance to prove if he deserves a starting role at RB. Todd Bowles has this defense coming back to prominence- just need them healthy to keep the ship in route. Godwin is more of a route WR that Baker is accustomed to but with Evans jump ball ability (in the redzone or sideline) can be utilized if Baker can hone in. Bucs could be in the thick of the NFC South race IF they build upon thier week 1 victory.
Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles should be the class of the NFC given how weak it is as a conference compared to the swath in AFC. Besides 49ers and Eagles, there aren't much more true contenders for the Superbowl (unless Lions show out). The defense even added players smh. The addition of Swift didn't show in week 1 but as of this writing the beginning of Week 2 blew that out the water in his hometown debut for the team. Penny wasn't a factor. Gainwell injury won't matter as much because of their depth. AJ Brown is the alpha but Devonte may squash that narrative. His week 2 explosion is threatening AJs alpha status. Goedert is finally on the board after a week 1 goose egg. Slow and steady he goes. Elliot missed a kick which is rare but still a decent option at Kicker. It will take a few weeks for this team dynamics to show its hand on the RB front. Cowboys may come for the division but Philly is looking beyond because even at a wildcard, Hurts and crew will win despite thier own errors.
San Francisco 49ers
Another superbowl pick on the NFC side, they never admitted their draft mistake In Trey Lance, but thier backing of Mr Irrelevant Brock Purdy is similar a Tom Brady come up. He is backed 💯 Kittle ✔️ Aiyuk ✔️ Deebo ✔️ CMC ✔️ Defense ✔️ Head coach ✔️ Kicker (Moody)✔️ The whole dam team ✅️
Minnesota Vikings
Cousins again is pouring 🫗 points .... probably as the biggest bench warmer in shallow league ls who decided not to play him. Even in losing efforts, Kirk is throwing massive yards and TDs. The vikings D is gonna go thru growing pains as Flores implements his scheme in his coordinator debut for the. Thus, the offense will have pressure to win games. Cook out to the Jets left Mattison in play as the lead. He lead nowhere unfortunately. He is a flex play at best. Jefferson is gonna feast as he usually does. Addison is the great pick up for whoever has him. The rookie paired with Jefferson may be one of the few duos that could both be number ones on their team fantasy wise. Hockenson is garnering even more so in terms of looks. The passing game is where it's at cuz of the air yards distribution. I wouldn't bet on them for division. I put more stock in Jordan love and such because of coaching even with Vikes having better talent offensively. That's because Packers at least have Defense in the back pocket.
Green Bay Packers
Speaking of Packers. The Defense I alluded to in the Vikings recap is what separates then in the division. Only the Lions have a shot to outmatch. An era is gone now A Rod out of town. Love like Rodgers and Farve before him sat behind the starter to learn. Can GB make it a trifecta? Aaron Jones killed as per usual but is on the injury block. AJ Dillon is is I guess for week 2. Cobb and Lazard left leaving Doubs & Watson. That would be okay but Watson may be dealing with an injury that might plague him a good chuck of the season. Rookie TE Luke and a new kicker are pieces we have to see will work out (no more Crosby...was there so long). Expect LaFleur having this team in thick of things.
Kansas City Chiefs
It's the Chiefs. The only concern is Sky Moore, Toney and Rache and what thier roles are in this offense after Kelce. Pacheco is an afterthought but still the lead. Hey it's something. Mahomes should get his and now with Chris Jones signing back with the team, the defense can be viable as a bye week add. Butker if anything is a choice for kicker as well given the teams offensive output. Will they defend thier Lombardi?
Denver Broncos
Hackett out and HOF Sean Payton is in. Can he fix Russell? Can the injuries stop piling up? Will Juedy live up to expectations? Is Sutton a real deal or a sham? Will the defense come to form against offensive powerhouses in thier division? Is Trautman going to overtake the TE position with Greg D out? Loads of questions 🤔 This is a wait n see team.

Proposal for Next Fallout Game
Seattle/King County/Puget Sound at large.
You've got downtown areas for scavenging and reestablishing civilization.
University of Washington can be a quasi-Institute group, or attached to the Brotherhood/Followers as a repository of old-world knowledge. E: Or any of the other Big Tech firms out here.
There are enough military installations in the area that the Enclave/Brotherhood could split Naval Base Kitsap, the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Boeing Field, and possibly Joint Base Lewis-Mcchord, or you can give over one of them to a nuclear strike a la the Glowing Sea. Might even give one of them to the NCR or another minor faction like the Boomers.
You could split it into smaller zones by using the revived Mosquito Fleet for fast travel.
Costco would come back as a caravan company, with a sidequest to get a membership.
You could get a few cheap jokes about hipsters and/or coffee, but I can't think of any right now.
Maybe do that one minor gang somebody proposed, the skater boys/girls/ghouls called the Hawks, who emulate Tony Hawk as the Kings emulated Elvis Presley.

BACKSTORY:
Where sun kisses the sea and the melody of the Spanish music shushes you to sleep, Antonio was born to a humble family of four. His father was old fashioned and expected his sons to follow his example. Deep devotion to the country, early marriage, and being the head of the house, was what he expected.
Antonio gave his best to meet those demands, but the pressure was taking its tool on him. However, he loved his father and wanted to have the man proud, and set an example for his younger brother. Finding a woman, having a steady job at the local warehouse and slowly building a life his father wanted, the man was on the edge. In his veins coursed adrenaline, thirst for adventure, seeing the world...but what he got to see, was a military unit when thing got rough in the country.
His father signed him up without even asking, and Antonio once again followed. The pressure now hitting its limit, he saw the men dying over other people’s dreams and for nothing to wait for them after but a brief applause of gratitude. Antonio became depressed, and when he received the letter from his father, demanding him to marry the woman he left behind once he is back, to once again please some ancient traditions, he broke. Having spilled blood, nearly got killed and living a life that was constant crawling downhill for someone else’s approval, he decided he will not going to allow it any longer.
A few big bucks to right people, Antonio went AWOL, sneaking pass the boarder of America, the land of dreams. He was broke and soon realized the place was far from perfect, but still, he could tailor his own destiny now and that was all he needed to keep pushing forward. Changing his name to Scott Ledger, he began his new journey.
Working two jobs, he managed to obtain enough money to open a small gym after three years of hard work. However, due to his determination, innovation and knowledge when it comes to a healthy life style, the job soon took off, and he kept growing until he finally managed to move to a two story building where downstairs he has his gym, Stones of Olympus, and a neath apartment of his own upstairs. Now, Scott is living his dreams, earning a nickname Hawk from his friends, duo to snatching good opportunities (and having a hawk’s eye for pretty women), trying to bury his past life.

When I was a child, the first love, after my family and dog, was the west. It is a story I have told before - a road trip to Colorado when I was ten years old. That love remains, though it is confusing at times to now drive east to regain the west. For me, the west was and still is that area that begins at the dryline, which runs from Texas into Canada and separates a predominately green Earth from a sepia-toned prairie that runs to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Now, living to the West of those Mountains, my internal compass is confused.
But the feeling of home does grow. In the afternoon, as I drove east from my work in downtown Spokane, I saw a storm moving over the tops of the mountains toward the valley. It was a beautiful sight as the setting sun reflected off dark clouds rolling over the peaks and into the Columbia plateau. After the storm passed, it left caps of snow on the mountains. Here in the valley, it was in the seventy-degree range.
There is a myth at large that the Spokane - Cour d’Alene corridor in the valley is that we are being swamped by people fleeing California and the far west coast. Yes, people are moving here, and the area is growing, but the housing shortage has been artificial, and though the valley is filling with people, it is not the breakneck pace the media would like us to believe. Many people are holding on to their houses and not selling. As a realtor told me yesterday, in a small market like Couer d’Alene of about 60,000, a slight increase in population can seem like a massive flood. She also said that many properties are being bought by outside investors from China. Even before the pandemic, the market was tight. She also said that in the past, Californians move after one or two winters. It is not as cold as Montana, but it does get cold and very snowy.
This move has had a positive effect on me. I have been busy, and we have been slow to unpack. I have avoided the “news” media on the web as well as social media. Doing so has allowed me to find my center as a human being. I have realized that frustration over involvement with social media and politics allowed me to make an ass of myself and spend my time striking out like a wounded animal. I moved into a very dark and unkind place. If even half of what is going on with “woke” culture is authentic, the country is going to hell in a shopping cart, and I am better off not getting involved until the shooting starts.
When I have checked the “news,” I don’t find so much “news” as a lot of opinion pieces written by a lot of people I probably would not choose to share a cup of coffee with. Frankly, what passes as news is manipulation. I am quickly concluding that the major fault of big tech media is that too few people own and control the information, too many people have a forum to express an opinion, and too few people are really sharing information – pretty much like I just did.
Who cares what “Joe or Jane Dirt” has to say? I prefer what the trees and the red-shouldered hawk told me yesterday. They make much more sense.
Driving home from work and into the Douglas fir-covered hills has helped as well. The change in scenery and climate has improved my arthritis and the depression that Seattle brought on to me.
I continue to work through Edmund Morris’ Theodore Rex. It is a massive book and reads like a novel detailing almost day by day Roosevelt’s presidency. Some parts describe the presidency hour by hour. For all his genius, I am not sure Roosevelt is someone I would want to have coffee with either. I find myself wanting to diagnose him; his behaviors are so extreme. Other than hyperactive, I can think of nothing that fits. But I am trying to read this biography without filling myself with opinions about the man. What he accomplished is remarkable. I have had neither the level of genius nor the drive for power and fame he appears to have had. I guess that is why I am not a president.
But I do share his love of the west. I also share his passion for the core values of integrity, courage, and honor. I think many more people have that passion than the current writings and speeches of academics and politicians we are inundated with will admit too.
The day has broken now over the “Western” mountains to my east. I will be moving things into storage and soon begin the process of sorting and disposing of many things I only thought I needed. I do believe I have finally found a home. I feel the positive energy of home I always felt in New Mexico and find that the harsh brutality the desert ground into people does not exist here. I find I want to explore - to get into my truck and just drive, but I know I do not want to go further east than the dryline or further west than the Columbia River. The Rocky Mountains are home, and short of a family emergency, I have no need to ever leave again. I only left the Rockies to connect Merilyn with her family and her sense of “home” and discovered that did not work - though she does miss the sea and is struggling because she feels like she has to relearn how to get things accomplished. I have realized that the climate and the culture of Seattle were aging me and quickly killing me. If I never go there again, I will remain a happier person.
A skein of Canadian geese just announced the morning as they flew over. It is a good day to embrace life again.
