i'm working on an OSR-esque dungeon delver ttrpg and in order to test some of the mechanics i needed to throw together some quick themed dungeons. thus was born my Simple Dungeon Generator (SDG), a couple of tables i could roll some dice on to basically make a writing prompt out of and then build a place to explore. a friend said they liked what i was making with it, so here's the tables out on my itch.io for you to try out too! it's pay what you want so just go ham my man (gender neutral).
some of the things i've written based on the generator:
A resting place for people that engage in a practice of having their bodies immortalized in glass coffins. This practice has fallen out of favor due to the cost and space. The founder of the technique is buried here, along with his magical research notes on how to perform the process. Something lurks in the crypt that is dangerous to the resting bodies... it melts glass.
The castle was host to a king that founded a religion based on blood. The windows are all enchanted to shine a gorgeous afternoon light depicting imagery of his ascent to power. Within is the last resident of the castle, a spirit that was the last sacrifice ever made on the castle grounds.
i was tired of all of the other dungeon generators that were so specific or so vague that i couldn't use it for my specific ttrpg. the tables work like a writing prompt generator and you just mash up the results and categories until you have a place that suits what constitutes your setting or campaign.
there's also a dungeon size generator but i haven't even tested that and i don't recommend actually ever using it because exploring d100 floors with d100 rooms sounds like it'd be a nightmare.

Wildest Dreams - In the Death of the Night
Masterlist
After turning 10 and losing her soulmate, Marinette would imagine how Damian Wayne would be.
Would he be tall or short? Did he have blond hair or brown or did he dyed it? Would he be shy or have a bold personality? Perhaps he was an artistic soul, a poet, a writer? Or would he be a baker like her parents? Why did his last name change?
The wonders and questions took over her mind for days with no end.
On good days, she imagined how he would interact with her friends, how her parents would take him in as their own son, how he would fit into her life.
She liked to talk to him, pretending there, alive, with her. She asked his opinion on what to wear, how she should do her hair, what colors with go well with the design. He was her voice of reason. Talking to "Damian" brought a smile to her face, even when she knew she was deluding herself.
On bad days, she pretended he was right there with her, comforting her, encouraging her, whispering that everything would be alright... Sometimes it worked and she felt better the next days but most times she felt bitter, she felt robbed of a future where he was in her life.
The realization that the person she was supposed to share her soul with was no longer alive, that his death was painful, gruesome, and... lonely... It always ended with her taking a few days to prevent a breakdown...
When she turned 13, Hawkmoth appeared and Marinette became Ladybug, the hero of Paris.
Soon after, Marinette stopped talking with "Damian", she couldn't afford to wonder about him anymore. She couldn't afford the bliss of her own delusions. She couldn't afford to let herself grief and fall pray to Hawkmoth's manipulation.
As she couldn't fail Paris and its citizens, Damian Wayne mostly disappeared from her life.
But there were days when her “friends” demanded a lot from her, akumas were too violent and draining and everything was just too much, those the godawful days.
On godawful days she wished Damian was there to take her away to a place she could feel she belonged. Away from everything to a place she could call a home.
_______
Most nights Damian recalls a voice talking to him during the time he was dead.
His soulmate, he supposed, talked to him regularly, she started her day asking his opinion on her outfit for the day, when at home she would tell him how her day went, what she did with her friends, what she learned in class, etc...
At first, Damian was pretty much annoyed that he couldn't "rest in peace" with all the noise pollution but after a few weeks, he slowly started to tolerate her talking to him.
Unfortunately, he couldn't talk to her nor see her very clearly so it was a pleasant surprise when Marinette would ask his opinion to make a decision, she always picked what he chooses.
Perhaps it was their bond that allowed her to know what he was thinking without actually hearing each other's thoughts. Or maybe they were more in sync with one another. Most likely it was pure luck on her part. (Him being dead is enough proof of how bad his luck was.)
In the months he was dead, Damian learned a grand lot Marinette. He liked how she made him feel he wasn't alone, like how her voice calmed him when he remembered the family he left behind in his death. Marinette was his only lighthouse in the vast void of the afterlife
_______
Impotent, despair, and hopeless.
That's how Damian felt every time Marinette had to relive his death. He hated it so much. She didn't deserve that and it broke his heart every damn time.
Why did he have to die? Why did it have to be in such a painful way? Why did she have to feel it on repeat over and over and over again? Was it a twisted way the universe tried to make them reunited? If they can't find each other in life, then they can be together in death? That isn't right!
But it always hurts more when she wakes up and talks to him. Wondering if he was happy and in peace, in wherever place he ended up.
He was there but she didn't know.
He felt sick.
After being revived, Damian felt an immense sense of loss. Sure, he was kinda happy to reunite with his family and grateful for being alive again, but he missed her.
It was difficult to readjust to being alive again, it was crystal clear that Damian Wayne wasn't okay. What hurts him the most was how her name turned into a scar on his wrist.
During the day paranoia settled in making him always on high alert, lashing out when it got too much for him.
In the night, he couldn't sleep properly as a feeling of unease latched onto his every nerve and when he did sleep, nightmares plagued him.
Damian tried to calm down in various ways, but ultimately it was Marinette's voice that soothed him and lulled him to sleep.
It quickly became a habit to replay their one-sided conversations as he tries to fall asleep.
He went over what Marinette Dupain-Cheng spoke to him time and time again as to engrave her voice in his mind. Unfortunately, her voice was fading away, every time he recalled it, he hear his own voice.
At least some memories remained, which was relieving for Damian, even when important ones like what language she spoke or the name of her school were completely wiped out.
He never told his family his experience while he was dead, he guesses Jason was the most likely to know about it but he never brought it up to anyone, so Damian did the same.
Now he was lying in bed, remembering about the time Marinette tried embroidery for the first time.
She started by searching up what she wanted it to be and after much talking, she chose a Robin, Damian smile at the eagerness he felt for her to chose it. It was a fun day, with her making comments here and there about the work, he wishes he could see it.
A knock woke him up of his thoughts, Alfred emerging from the door.
"Master Damian, I'm here to inform you a guest will be joining us for tomorrow's dinner."
"Whose guest?" He didn't really feel like dealing with new people.
"It's Master Jason's guest."
Damian groans, perhaps he could go visit Kent.
"It would be in your best interest to participate, Master Damian." Alfred gave him a look.
He sighed, definitely can't miss tomorrow or he'll have to face Pennyworth.
So, I've written another chapter while listening to a sad song on repeat :') I know it doesn’t really connect to the last chapter but I wasn’t feeling okay and didn’t know how to continue from where I left off.
I hope y’all enjoyed this and have a nice day!

Look this is my problem😭😭.
he said something good, personally to me, coming from a misogynistic ass nightmare of a country a celeb of his caliber saying he supports feminism would spark so much outrage (please don’t steam roll over this, it’s factual: there have been multiple incidents where celebs in my country were forced to apologize after saying they are feminists) IT IS bare minimum but it’s certainly going to create dialogue if a high scale celeb says it and so it’s not like what he said isn’t going to have any effect at all BUT the fandom acting like this is The Rapture and hyping a man up so fucking high for doing the bare minimum is going to be my joker origin story. HOW DARE YOU all act like this is something brave and courageous to do when a plethora of feminist activists fight for gender equality RISKING their lives!!? HOW DARE YOU act like this is the final answer to feminism in SK when there are plenty of women in that country still waiting for a painfully long time to have their abusers prosecuted??? The president was right there!! If he was the feminist icon y’all hype him up to be he would have had the spine to AT LEAST discuss the pathetic situation of women’s rights in SK especially as an envoy for SDG which includes gender equality as one of its goals.
well I don't think this is a great achievement or anything to be applauded so yeah armys really will hype bts up for anything even if that's the bare minimum. but they're conveniently silent about the racism in their own fandom?? did they forget armys fucking DOXXED black people on twt after yoongi sampled a genocidal cult leader in his mixtape? and then he fucking hid behind a company statement? did they ever acknowledge the cultural appropriation of native american items that happened less than a year ago and all throughout dynamite promotions??? did they ever acknowledge that their partnership with hyundai made them complicit in humanizing a fucking murder robodog that is used by police and military forces 😭 so yeah miss me with that bullshit
also I can't even see the tweet you linked lmfao 😹😹

Elara Titania
bersama
Rigel Ardhito
See?
"Of course, she's so cute for him.
"Then, how's about Rigel for Elara?"

New Post has been published on https://www.aneddoticamagazine.com/it/ambiente-la-terra-e-deficit-di-risorse-ma-alluomo-non-interessa/

Monitoring POPs and PFCs in Asia’s Water
by Yvette Niwa, International Affairs and Environmental Studies 2018
When Rob Bilott sued chemical company DuPont on behalf of the Tennant family of Parkersburg, West Virginia in 1999, he set into motion what would the beginning of the end of Perfluorinated Chemical (PFC) production in the United States. In 1998, Wilbur Tennant sought Bilott’s legal expertise after witnessing the gruesome deaths of cattle and deer on his property. Numerous carcasses were discovered, blood dripping from their nostrils and teeth blackened. The culprit? DuPont’s Washington Works factory had been disposing of PFCs, specifically PFOA, in a landfill next to the Tennant’s land. The hazardous chemicals seeped from the landfill into the streams, poisoning the animals.1

In the nearly twenty years since the case began, PFC production has come to a halt within the United States. DuPont and its affiliate company Chemours settled 3,500 related cases this February, each paying $335.35 million and up to $25 million every year until 2022 to cover continuing medical and remediation costs. However, PFC contamination in the United States remains a pressing issue, hitting close to home for many Northeastern University students. In Massachusetts, contamination has affected Cape Cod and Hyannis, forcing residents to rely on bottled water and voice health concerns, as the class of contaminants contains suspected carcinogens.2
Despite the decline of PFC production in the US, the chemicals continue to be manufactured in Asia, threatening the water quality and health of millions of people. Goal 6 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals aims to combat these deadly contamination events by 2030 seeking to “Improve water quality by reducing pollution, eliminating dumping and minimizing release of hazardous chemicals and materials, halving the proportion of untreated wastewater and substantially increasing recycling and safe reuse globally.”3 Specifically related to PFCs, the UN established a partnership with the United Nations University, which has been working to address pollution in Asian countries since 1996.4
In 1996 the United Nations University established the Environmental Monitoring and Governance in the Asian Coastal Hydrosphere project, which aimed to help developing Asian countries monitor Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and other contaminants. POPs are manmade chemicals that, when released into the environment, do not break down and accumulate in organisms, spelling danger for health. These chemicals can have subtle affects, altering the immune system and hormones, or result in extreme illness culminating in death. These chemicals are so treacherous that the 2001 Stockholm Convention on POPs sought to decrease and eventually eliminate the use of twelve chemicals, AKA the “dirty dozen.”5 The list has grown to 23, now including notorious Perfluorinated Chemical PFOS.6

Today, the UNU program involves China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, with Japan leading the initiative at the Tokyo UNU Institute for Sustainability and Peace. The institute has partnered with Shimadzu, a Japanese technology company specializing in analytical and measurement tools, to implement seven phases of the project. The seven phases largely focus on monitoring contamination in Asia and do not focus on remediation. Phase one measured Volatile Organic Compounds in the water and atmosphere, phase two monitored endocrine disruptors in rivers and coastal waters, phase three examined POPs in rivers and soil, phase four analyzed POPs in organisms, phase five further studied POPs and PCBs in water and sediment, and phase six has focused on tracking PFCs in water.7
In March 2015, a report detailing POPs in Asia published the results of PFC contamination in several Asian countries. The findings included Japan, China, and Thailand, among others.  In Japan, water concentrations of PFOS and PFOA were 0.51 ng/L and 1.1 ng/L in 2012, respectively. In China, the Huanghai Sea showed levels of PFOA ranging from 0.6- 0.59 ng/L and the Bohai Sea reached levels as high as 28.1 ng/L. To put these numbers in context, the US EPA limit is 70 ng/L, and drinking water levels in Hyannis reached as high as 180 ng/L (PFOA/PFOS). In Thailand, freshwater and marine samples showed levels of PFOS as high as 729.2 ng/L.8 This magnitude of contamination mirrors some sample locations at DuPont headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware.2
Phase seven of the initiative calls for further monitoring of PFCs, specifically PFOA and PFOS, in the ten Asian countries. Shimadzu’s LC-MS/MS (pictured below) aids researchers in each country, and the Tokyo UNU Institute for Sustainability and Peace provided a training workshop to scientists in July of 2016 on how to better utilize the tool to implement the Stockholm Convention’s vision for POP elimination.9

Despite the large amount of data collected by the UNU about levels of POPs and more specifically PFCs in Asia, the United Nations led initiative has published little information on how to address remediation of the pollution. Sustainable Development Goal 6 aims to increase access to clean water by 2030, and while the wealth of research that the UNU has published certainly drives regulations, POPs are environmentally persistent in name and nature. If the 2030 goal is to be realized, water treatment must become an additional focal point of the project’s agenda.
Complete List of Sustaiabiliy Goal 6 Objectives:
6.1 - By 2030, achieve universal and equitable access to safe and affordable drinking water for all
6.2 - By 2030, achieve access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all and end open defecation, paying special attention to the needs of women and girls and those in vulnerable situations
6.3 - By 2030, improve water quality by reducing pollution, eliminating dumping and minimizing release of hazardous chemicals and materials, halving the proportion of untreated wastewater and substantially increasing recycling and safe reuse globally
6.4 - By 2030, substantially increase water-use efficiency across all sectors and ensure sustainable withdrawals and supply of freshwater to address water scarcity and substantially reduce the number of people suffering from water scarcity
6.5 - By 2030, implement integrated water resources management at all levels, including through transboundary cooperation as appropriate
6.6 - By 2020, protect and restore water-related ecosystems, including mountains, forests, wetlands, rivers, aquifers and lakes
6.a - By 2030, expand international cooperation and capacity-building support to developing countries in water- and sanitation-related activities and programmes, including water harvesting, desalination, water efficiency, wastewater treatment, recycling and reuse technologies
6.b - Support and strengthen the participation of local communities in improving water and sanitation management
 POPs and PFCs Management Deliverables:
March 2017: Building analytical capacities to analyze PFCs in water, sediment and biota samples collected from rivers, marine coastal, rural, urban and industrial areas for the first two years.
March 2018: Building analytical capacities to analyze PFCs in drinking water for the third year.
October 2018: Establish links with Stockholm Convention Secretariat and the other UN agencies and exchange information and knowledge on POPs monitoring programs.
October 2018: Submit high level recommendations based on the project outcomes for better implementing multilateral environmental agreements like the Stockholm Convention
