Movie Night

It was raining heavily outside, an occasional grumble of thunder shook the wall, and a flash of lightning illuminated the sitting room. Two people could be seen sitting on a couch with a bowl of popcorn, in front of a television. After a hard week, it was time to relax and enjoy a movie.

(I think we all need some fluffy slice of life to feel better about the state of the universes. These are movies I enjoy that I think other they best suite these characters.)

V & Cheeky (Predator)

These two strike me as horror movie fans

Cheeky was probably apprehensive when V put the movie in after the kids when to bed, especially when she saw the title.

‘V, I swear to god if this is a damn porno-” “Calm down, woman, it’s not a porno, it’s a horror movie, you like them.”

The two of them find this movie oddly hilarious, especially with all the macho men.

Cheeky laughs a lot during the dirty jokes.

V likes the scenes with Arnold, especially where they're the meme scenes.

They love the, "You're one ugly motherfucker," line.

JayJay & Twinkles (Care Bears II: New Generation)

A sweet movie that’s slightly dark. Best thing for these two, so let’s stick with the wholesome.

Jayjay likes the bright colors and the cute little animals.

Twinkle was thinking of getting him a Care Bear for Christmas.

Dark Heart makes them both think of a cuddly Maverick.

Will chant 'I care," during that one scene.

Jayjay always winds up leaning against Twinkle, munching on the popcorn.

Siren x Sweetcheeks (Labyrinth)

Leave it to the siren to enjoy the musical

The whole movie is a bit of a muppet mind-trip, so it fits for these two.

I fully believe that the two would sing along with the songs, like, it’s a whooole karaoke night for these two

Si definitely pulls Sweetcheeks up to slow dance to ‘As the World Falls Down’.

Great, now I want to know if A. Scythe has seen Labyrinth, and B. I need him to cover at least one of the songs.

Thier favorite quote is, 'It's only forever, not long at all.' (Yes, I know it's not an actual line, but it fits them too well!)

Also, these two wind up curled around each other on the couch.

Zombie (before the Zombie) x Wife (The Last Unicorn)

The married couple gets some love with another musical.

I imagine these two watching this movie while the wife was pregnant, just singing along with the amazing soundtrack.

Singing does have some benefit while pregnant, so I picture them singing along to every song.

And when the baby got there, they would play the movie in as background noise.

Their favorite line is 'When men are fairytales and books are written by rabbits.'

They usually wind up spooning on the couch, her back against his chest.

okay so.......Today is me and My boyfriend's 2 year anniversary.........

I'm confused though.....how the hell....did I get him.....addicted to ASMR roleplays and stuff.....because I showed him, Desmond asmr, scythe audio, Goodboyaudios, obsidian lantern.. and a whole bunch of others.......

What the hell happened to make us both addicted enough to these things to listen to them during school and directly in front of others..... I mean..... What Happened to our guardian angels or something!?

Characters And Listeners Headcanons - Scythe Audios Edition.

Some headcanons I have in mind and wanted to share until Scythe releases a new video.

I have a strong feeling that Livana has a knife collection. (Which Alpha bought it as a gift.)

Dark Rose and Vallakay totally had a black cat back 20 years ago when they started dating. (can't change my mind.)

Cheeky is learning Spanish from Wilder (after lots of beggings) just so they could gossip or talk shit about others. L is also tired of it.

Demon Girl is highly interested in the world of alchemy and potions but has never had the opportunity to explore her curiosity in this field.

I don't know, but I have a feeling that Goddess hates every listener (except for Dark Rose) for no reason.

JayJay would copy Twinkle's moves, again, for no reason.

Siren would spoil Sweet Cheeks with his cooking and would make sure she had three meals a day.

Floofster, Kreed, The Chosen, Marcus, and Cole would have a film marathon, only for Kreed to comment every time while Marcus and Floofster curse him out. (The Chosen would be indifferent and Cole sleeps the entire time.)

L, V, Wilder, and Cheeky would play Uno, just so V can cause drama.

Witch (from the Incubus series) likes to write poems for herself and would give some of them to her boyfriend.

When Gray has a break from training, they stay in the forest and gaze around for hours.

I love Scythe's stories too death, but Yandere siren is one I struggle to watch. Fucking love the story, it's just the listeners nickname that makes my skin crawl. Had a traumatizing experience with an adult when I was a kid that used to call me sweet cheeks, and sometimes it's hard getting through siren's audios because of that. Can still listen to the audio and enjoy it, it just puts me on edge and starts raising the alarm bells in the back of my head.

Swing Sweet Cheeks Swing

(TW: 1930’s typical violence, gun violence, and some blood)

The Inspector looked over the booming speakeasy. The echoing sound of jazz music and cigarette smoke filled the air, her ears, and lungs. She twirled her fingers around the string of pearls she was wearing, watching the guys and girls twirling around, a pang of envy in her chest. She wished someone would dance with her like that, but due to her job, she didn't have time. And none of the guys in the precinct really catch her fancy. Her heart ached for someone to sweep her up and twirl her around the room.

She took another drink of her cocktail, and saw something out of the corner of her eye. The Inspector could wear she saw a fan of green feathers to her right, and she turned to look at what caught her attention. The Inspector looked up to see a man smiling at her, he had dark blonde hair that was swept back from his handsome face. He was wearing an emerald green, pinstriped suit with a black tie. His eyes were also green, though more of a spring green compared to his suit.

The green man noticed her staring at him and gave her a cheeky grin as took a glass of dark liquor. “See something you like, Sweet Cheeks?” His accent was British, the fancy kind she heard on the radio.

She glanced away, her face burning with embarrassment at being caught staring. “Just noticed that your tie is crooked.”

This seemed to catch the pretty man off guard and he glanced down to fix his tie. “Oh! My goodness, how did that happen? Thank you for catching that.”

She nodded, taking another sip of her drink and watching the dancing, her leather dancing shoe tapping against the leg of her stool.

“Itching to get on the dance floor, gorgeous?”

She jumped at his voice, he somehow got closer to her, his green eyes boring into her own.

"Why don't we go out onto the floor and have some fun? You look bored out of your mind and should enjoy your evening."

The Inspector looked at him with uncertain eyes but took his hand and he dragged her out onto the dance floor. She had to admit, the Green Man could cut a rug with the best of them, but the inspector was no slouch either on the dance floor.

The two of them twisted, twirled, and jumped, laughing happily jittered and two-stepped. He laughed quite a bit throughout the evening. He dragged her back to the bar after they finished their dance, getting some fresh drinks to quench their dry throats. The Inspector giggled and leaned against the Green Man's arm, listening as he spoke about something she couldn't even really remember.

The two of them moved a quieter corner of the speakeasy to talk. He draped an arm around her shoulders, looking at her with eyes that seemed to look into her soul.

She wasn't sure if it was her alcohol talking or if she was just desperate for someone to hold her but she was so tempted to kiss this man. As she leaned forward slightly, there was a loud bang as the hidden door broke, several men with tommy guns.

The Green Man pulled the Inspector under the table to hide from the bullets. The inspector growled and looked at the bartender, an informant who knew her and why she was in his establishment. He nodded and slid a pump-action shot-gun.

She looked at the Green Man, her eyes glinting like glass. "Stay here, I can handle this." She leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his lips before popping up from the table and shooting at the men. She knows who they are, a local mafia her precinct was trying to take down. They fell like flies with each shot, blood staining the wooden floors.

The Green Man looked at the Inspector, his eye glittering with awe as she yelled at the people to run out the back, and throughout the chaos, she stood like a boulder in a storm. As she pushed the last of the people out, a shot clipped her in the shoulder.

The Inspector jerked awake, gripping her shoulder that she could swear she was shot in. She sighed and ran her hands through her hair, trying to calm her breathing. She tried her bring back more memories of that dream, especially with the Green Man but... they were slowly drifting away.
