It had been six months since Azzazith was summoned by a man on the brink of death. He didn’t expect that the weak cries for help would come from a pureblood vampire. He was one of the lucky bastards who got to have a powerful vessel. It took some getting used to. The body he now possessed was agile and quick on his feet. Perfect vision and heightened sense of smell, aided the demon well. The only downside to this vessel was the screaming Cha Jaehyun inside his head. 

The consciousness of Jaehyun was quite strong in the first few weeks. It begged the demon to abandon his body as he had done what Jae wanted already. He didn’t quite grasp the situation that Azzazith owned his soul already. The moment he recited that incantation, Cha Jaehyun’s soul was bound to the crossroad demon. Pain was the perfect way to break Jaehyun, Azzazith found. It took numerous deep cuts and an adequate amount of blood loss to finally tame the pureblood. Now, every time Jae tries to fight him for control, he knows the perfect punishment for him. A little cut added with excruciating pain was enough to silence Jae’s protests.

For the last three months he had been inhabiting Jaehyun’s body, the demon has already absorbed countless of souls that just made him stronger and thirstier for death. On one of his nightly excursions, he had met a fellow demon. A sloth temptation demon to be exact. At first, Azzazith made the seemingly harmless werewolf his target, upon closer observation, he had seen the demon residing inside. Now, the crossroads demon makes it a point to run into Lux every night. 

“Took you long enough.” Azzazith smirked as he swirled the whiskey around his glass. “Did your weakling give you a hard time again, Amon?” Blood red eyes finally meeting the other’s. “I told you, you should always remind him who owns his soul now. Jaehyun had to learn the hard way, why not do my suggestion?”
