find apollo.  find apollo and everything will be okay.     that’s what she kept repeating to herself,  but it didn’t put her mind at ease at all.    not when there was talk of an uprising and selene couldn’t help but think that if anyone was going to get involved,  it would be apollo.    he could die,  and she’d never see him again.   maybe he wouldn’t even recognize her,  or maybe he’d forgotten about her entirely.   she knows far too much about what they would do if they were captured — cylons didn’t die.    they were reprogrammed to be better and obey.  

the thought makes her shudder before she turns her attention back towards cormak.   they were in the same position — all they wanted was to find their partners and protect the ones around them.     “  you should sleep.  i can take the first watch,  ”    she finally tells him.     they were both exhausted and while she’d benefit from some sleep,  selene knows that the only thing that would come from it would be the nightmares that continued to plague her each time her eyes fell closed. 

there’s something else there;  she can see the way his brows knit together in thought.    “  talk to me.   i recognize that look.   there’s always a reason for a look like that.  ”
