Walking in darkness, or in other words sin, is a realm or atmosphere. According to the Bible darkness or sin is a kingdom that has a king. The Bible tells us that there are two kingdoms in this world, the kingdom of God and the kingdom of evil, the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness, the kingdom of holiness and the kingdom of Satan and of iniquity. These are two realms in which man can live, so that apart from you and me and our individual actions there is such a thing as sin and evil, a realm, an attitude, an outlook. Walking in darkness is someone whose whole outlook on life is ruled by worldliness, and who only thinks in human, earthly terms of all that life is. (1 John 2:15-16) Remember that the Christian can say with Paul that “the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” (Gal 6:14) If I say that I am a Christian and the world knows I call myself one and I continue to walk in darkness I am a liar and I am pretending to be something that I am not. “For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.” (Gal 6:3) 15. Not only am I lying to others, but I am lying to myself and deceiving myself. “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” (Gal 6:7-8) 16. (3) Today, if you have been lying to yourself and others you must realize that you are a sinner and that you must repent of your sins and put your faith (full trust) in Christ as your only hope for salvation from the wrath which is to come. We must sow good seeds for our God. Jesus gave us both his hands to be nailed upon the cross, the least we could do is give up one. Opportunities are plentiful, we just need to open our eyes, just like Jesus knocked Paul off the donkey and removed the scales from His eyes, and finally, he could see for the first time. There are many sinners who lack knowledge. Rather than relax in luxury and pleasure in the evening we have an opportunity to serve the Lord still. Take God Out of the "Emergency Only" Box! I used to spend time with God once in awhile or when my life was in big trouble. Eventually I learned that if I ever wanted to stop living from one emergency to the next, I needed to seek God every day as if I were in desperate need of Him. It's true that God will always help us when we come to Him. But if we want constant victory, we need to take God out of our "emergency only" box and invite Him into our everyday lives. God wants us to get personal with Him. He proves this by the fact that He lives within us. When Jesus died on the cross, He opened the way for us to get personal with almighty God. If God had wanted an "emergency only" relationship, He might just visit on occasion, but He certainly would not have come to take up permanent residence within us. What an awesome thought! Teacher, which kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light–which are heavy?]

And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). [Deut. 6:5.]

This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.

And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. [Lev. 19:18.]

These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets.

It's Friday to me. So I'm not a day late. Watch the rest of this poem on my IGTV channel. I think it answers the basic concept of Grace which I believe every Christian should properly learn about. Grace is the foundation on which our relationship with God as a Christian is built on. I first properly understood Grace when I watched the "Grace like a flood" series by Pastor Mike Todd in the summer. You guys should check it out on YouTube. But basically that series clarified the meaning of Grace to me and altered it's importance in my life. And let me tell you Grace doesn't just save but is sustains and empowers me in everything I do. I just want everyone to have the opportunity to know how great Grace is too. It is transforming this judgemental and prideful girl (me) into something beautiful like a Cinnamon tree.
