first of all, I really appreciate that the author of the article(who I will note is a ciswoman and has stressed that fact several times) was sure to research the topics she was writing about within the story beforehand, which is clearly seen in how the different forms of transphobia are handled within the article's text. She did her homework and it shows. Very good to see in a story of this nature.

Secondly, the article itself! Some people don't like format screws on the SCP wiki, and I'll admit, sometimes I find they've become a bit too common and aren't always done very well. But this one really fits for the idea of an anomalous webpage that spreads and infects everything(and everyone) it touches with such a sickening, destructive, restrictive idea of hyper femineity, so the harsh colors and tacky pink-on-pink and annoyingly Hype Cutesy look really works in my opinion. It's especially impactful when You see the bits of Normal documentation in the collapsible, only for several to be interrupted by more of that catty "This is soooooo BORING. Girls don't like BORING, bleh bleh bleh, OWO" style text coming back. It's really freaky and I love it.

and ofc. The characters.

KeeLee is a bItch and I hope she explodes. However...in my Personal interpretation of the anomaly itself, it seems that Just Girly Things is a website-based entity that has "latched on" to this(very bigoted and very abusive and very horrible) woman and is using her as sort of a central vessel/conduit through which to spread more hate and more pain to as many women(or people It decides are women, at least. the author has made it clear that anyone who is AMAB or otherwise deemed to be a man by the Site's personal standards Can't View It) as possible. Really reminds me of IT from Stephen King. The idea of a cosmic being that can warp reality inflicting pain upon humanity and using human bigotries and hatred as a means to do so is very unsettling. And in this article, the concept of it is very well executed!

For the rest of the women on the site, I don't really have much to say. They're a mixed bag of fully shitty like KeeLee, well meaning but still unpleasant, and a few seem to be at least vaguely aware that this ideology the site feeds off of/into isn't always the best, but still, overall, these ladies remind me of catty pouty high school girls who bully the Weird Kids and ya know. they're terfs. so eh. I hope the semi-decent ones can get out someday.

oh, but Landon. Landon's character makes me very sad and very Happy and makes me feel Very Seen. The author has mentioned wanting to write a tale or a connected article that has him escaping the site somehow, and honestly I can't Wait for it, because seeing the messages of KeeLee abusing him into this Box of Pastal Pinks and demeaning him and his identity just breaks my lil' heart.

I really appreciate that the forms of transphobia the article shows are treated with the same level of cruelty. The researcher attacking her fellow coworker(a transwoman) while screaming about her "being a fake woman" is shown to be just a cruel and evil as KeeLee's denial of Landon's masculine identity. One is not treated as being somehow worse than the other. Both are forms of hatred and abuse, and both are horrible and awful.

Overall, It's a very good SCP! I really enjoy it and look forward to whatever the author does next!

don’t think I can do the concept the justice it deserves but in the Foundation Paradox metacanon, somewhere, SCP-4319 gets classed as Argus because the Faction might not consider many applications of inforitual as “misuse” but that is definitely it, and they’re taking over this case, thanks

List of SCP articles I actually like

title self explanatory. list will be out of order.

SCP-4558: one of my first favorites when I first visited the site. a good skip with an interesting story, including one of my favorite GoIs (Fifthism). while I recently started getting bored of format screws on the site, 4558 will allways have a special place in my heart.

SCP-4246: if a story portrays the ocean as an eldritch place, it's a good skip. helps that it actually has an academic feel to it, unlike more narrative skips lately. even the twist at the very end fits because ocean creatures are Like That. very beautiful very powerful.

SCP-4319: by girls for girls!! this skip is terrifying in a way more grounded in reality (group that pretends they're for "girl power" when they're actually trying to force girls into their own image). the format screw definitely helps convey the horrors of the site taking over the girls too.

SCP-6624: in general articles bout Alagadda are cool and at worst simply average, but 6624 is really good. helps that it kinda touches on the Four Lords of Alagadda through the music experiments. it also feels like historical documentation, just like 4246 (fun fact: they're both by the same author, called Metaphysician. recommend you check them out).

SCP-6007: ok i'll be honest, this one's on the list more from spite. as in, i dislike 6000, 6001, and 6500 so much that they automatically bumped up 6007 up in terms of liking it. weird i know. that said, 6007 had interesting characters and actually portrayed the horrors of nature pretty simple, yet it was pretty effective.

SCP-7027: surprise! another skip by Metaphysician! this one was made at the beginning of the anthology hub, and it was a strong start that made me hopeful that it would deliver all the way (it did not, but there were some good bits here and there). emptiness as horror is my favorite trope in horror, and the way it combined emptiness, nihilism, and buddhist ideas fucks pretty hard and reminds me of the HARBINGER II series (see below).

SCPs 6270 to 6279: HARBINGER II skips are all so good. while they're all considered separate from each other, they share one common theme: harbingers and holes, the latter either being literal or figurative, like a nothingness where surrounded by something...ness. because it reminds me of house of leaves, it automatically became one of my favorites. even some of the more weaker ones like 6273, 6277, and 6278 are still decent, if not my taste. notable favorites include 6270 (the description of the anomalous illness was interesting), 6272 (simple yet effective, especially the ending), 6274 (ending was eh, but everything else leading up to it was good, what with the idea of even ghosts not being safe from the entity), 6275 (surreal and terrifying, while also acting a bit as a commentary to ""funni"" skips), and 6276 (has a bit of technobabble, but it was interesting, especially the ending).

SCP-1302-JP: this one's simple: it's a ferris wheel that is so slow it takes triple-digit years for one revolution. the description of those trapped within the capsules are chilling, and there are Implications, for those with a good eye.

SCP-5485: i remember making a post where i said that unneeded [citation needed] in articles is one of my favorite types of humor, and this skip delivers on this while also being unsettling. combining HANSARP (a Dadaist version of AWCY) and the ocean is a brilliant idea.

SCP-3009: i already gushed about this skip in a previous post. no need to say more beyond it being a simple yet compelling story, especially with the companion tales.

SCP-7100: this skip has a format screw that's actually interesting AND makes sense- it acts as a tutorial for documenting an SCP (both in-universe and out) while also telling a good story within. the punchline also fits, which is a rare compliment these days for modern skips. i've said this before and i'll say it again: 7100 should have won 7k con.

SCP-6230: this skip documents how abandoned SCP facilities will suddenly generate new interior spaces, and if that doesn't remind you of House of Leaves, you clearly have not been on my blog long enough. juxtaposing the main clinical documentation with the more prose-y feel of SCP-001 helps create a sense of eerie suspense on wtf the skip is, something the backrooms wikis wishes they could accomplish. honestly the skip could've been just endless descriptions of the generated interior spaces and i would still put it on this list.

SCP-4319 fucks me up to the extent I legit can't so much as scroll past its title on the mainlist without my pulse quickening at least a little bit. The "supernatural conversion therapy" trope in queer horror always gets under my skin like crazy. Good entry though to be clear.

I feel tempted to write a story where Landon is freed from SCP-4319's influence and gives an interview about what happened to him and the changes he noticed in his sister.

Then the Foundation destroys all of KeeLee's sites, captures her, rounds up her supporters and turns them all into D-Classes.

KeeLee gets thrown to SCP-4885, who hates her so much he takes his time killing her to give her the slow, agonizing death she rightfully deserves.

No, but seriously, I hate SCP-4319 so much it's unreal.

(BTW, @diana-berry are you SCP-4319's creator? Because I just wanna say you did a fantastic job at making the SCP as infinitely hateable as possible. The only complaint I have is that Landon wasn't freed from the site's influence and that KeeLee and her lackeys weren't killed by SCPs while serving as D-Class personnel with KeeLee being thrown to 4885. Overall, you're great!)

SCP-6080: Cartoon Network My personal current all time fav on the site(right next to baby beloved 999 ofc). TWs for themes of violence against a child, child abuse, torture, themes of trauma/PTSD, gory and violence imagery, unreality, liminal spaces, body horror, vomiting, animal death, uncanny/distorted faces and mentions of drug use. Also bright lights and generally unsettling imagery.
