thoughts on scorpiorp??

I know a few of my friends have already applied for this roleplay so that means you guys are obviously doing something right. I feel like every single roleplay that we’ve reviewed so far has been using this theme? Fritzi is very talented when it comes to coding but I can’t help noticing that it’s becoming a tad bit overused. There is tons, and I mean tons, of themes in the community that are totally under appreciated that could be used a lot more, you know? It’s definitely acceptable, though. I don’t know how to feel about the gradient, honestly. I feel like the whole isolation psd thing has been done? Again, it’s definitely acceptable, it’s just not my cup of tea. The graphics are really nice, though. I really don’t have any complaints about them ‘cause the textures and such you guys used are actually really pretty. All of the pages have been very neatly done and easy to navigate without any confusion. The fc list seems pretty good? I didn’t read over all of the characters due to me just being a lazy little shit but from what I read, which was only one or two of the characters, they seem well written except for the traits. I just feel like you guys could’ve put a tad more thought into them but hey, that’s just me. I’m actually really diggin’ this plot. I can see a lot of drama and deep connections coming out of it so I do applaud ya’ll for actually having some decent originality. Best of luck, petals.

opinion on scorpiorp?

Not a big fan of the main page, although the mascot gifs are great. The plot is perfect, both the way it’s written and the general concept. I like how they added the summary at the bottom because some bitches are lazy and aren’t gonna read that entire thing, though I recommend you do. the navigation is well organized, the characters are on fucking point with creative labels and the explanation of the labels and everything. I like how the roleplayer has freedom to pick the backstory. Also, I love roleplays that write some connections to start off with, idk why it’s always been something I like. Like not only mention the connections but explain them a little too. The FC choices are a+ and the fact that they have an actual app is gonna make sure they don’t get roleplayers who ditch in a day bc lbr no one’s gonna fill up a long ass app to be in a roleplay for an hour. Anyway, my point is this is perfect and it’s definitely going in the rec tag— I might also be working on an app.

I’m not sure how I feel about the graphics tbh, or the colors in general though I’m lovin the way the mascot gifs have been done. The plot’s well written and nice and long for a change, It’s interesting and I’m loving it. The characters are on point with the labels and how it’s been done and everything, so much that it actually takes away from the mess on the main page with the graphics. Even though I’m not a fan of how it looks everything else just makes me want to rec it.

I’ll start with aesthetics, because it’s just the most obvious thing to start with.

I really like your theme. I love the colours, and just the whole layout, it definitely goes with the plot you have going on. Your icon is perfect for the RP, and I honestly think without text is the best option, because it's already pretty obvious what the plot of the RP is. I love your graphics, they're amazeballs, and you need to teach me how you made something like that. I'm in awe honestly.

Content wise- I love that you’ve got a little snippet of your plot in the sidebar, because (like I’ve said in previous reviews) it helps give viewers and possible applicants a little hint of what the roleplay is about and hopefully results in only getting people to apply who are truly interested without any false-hope of what the roleplay will be about.

 You’ve got the navigation set up great- it’s easy to follow and it’s all sectioned off into things that potential and successful applicants need to get their blogs up and running ready to play.

Your plot is really well written and quite interesting, especially for people who are interested in this particular genre of roleplaying. 

All in all, I think you’ve got an awesome roleplay on your hands, and I wish you the best of luck with it in the future! I'm definitely rec'ing this.

Oh my god. First words that popped into my head. I'm already in love. Typically I'm not a fan of mascot gifs matching the color scheme, but I think it totally works! I love the theme and the graphics and everything! It's dark and gives it that chilling vibe without it being overdone. Goodness the plot is very long so I'm glad you all decided to put in a summary. Ugh, the faceclaims and skeletons are great, too. Overall, I'd rec this to anyone looking for a horror/mystery rp to join!

Of course, cutie patootie! Weird fact, my zodiac sign is a Scorpio. Anyway, moving on. This color scheme is a tricky one. I personally love color schemes like this since it’s simple, yet not at all. It’s a nice black and white color with a splash of red which is great for murder and death roleplays. So to me, your color scheme and gradient are amazing. Your graphics are also beautifully made with nice textures and great quality pictures. The little cross word in the icon thing is such a nice addition too. It’s just the little things that make me happy. The plain black and white background without a red splash is a little addition. Also you’re using my princess Taylor as your mascot and I rarely see her around anymore ever since the whole Harry Styles thing a year or two back so great choice. Moving onto the navigation. I think you should have made the gray background darker or just added the background to your navigation since it looks really awkward compared to the main page. This is one of my favorite navigation themes do and you did it justice. Everything is, of course, nice and organized. You also have a few extra links like an around page and police blog ((which has a beautiful appearance)) and I love seeing things like that. Overall, the navigation is really put together. Moving onto the characters, I would recommend the same thing for the background as the navigation. You have an amazing FC list honestly. You include a few of my favorite faces like Sinqua Walls, Jack Harries (but the picture you used is of Finn, just so you know), Normani Koredi, and Arden Cho. I’m really, really digging it. Your skeletons are nicely written and the ones I read were really cool. Last but not least, the plot. I like that you made the summary stand out compared to the plot since I’m pretty sure lazy roleplayers wouldn’t read something this lengthy. I think it’s a pretty good length though and I’m glad you added a trigger warning at the top. I also really like the header and how simple it is, yet still really attractive. I was really shocked with the plot. I am usually really iffy about serial killer plots since they are usually all the same, but this one is fresh and original. I am loving the idea and it seems like it’d be so much fun to roleplay and just be really interesting. The plot was also well-written and the how this will work page was really helpful. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this roleplay. It seems really cool and I am positive people will apply. I’m wishing you the best of luck, dear. Good job.

I love your URL because it’s really simple, it has no dashes and the word is a good choice to suit your plot. The icon did scare me a bit at first cause it’s a knife adsuehfuerhre8guHYDF but again, it suits the basic plot you’ve described to me so it’s a good choice. As I load up your blog, I’m in flippin love with the theme. I love how you’ve mixed the colour black and white with a tiny hint of red. I mean even the GIFs too! That’s dedication if ya ask me! It’s really effective too as b&w suggests death/funerals and the red suggests blood which is clearly what your rp seems to be about. I love the plot and although it’s long, it kept me going the whole way through. I now see where the word ‘scorpio’ comes into play and it really interests me how he carves the symbol into their hand. That’s pretty damn cool! Like I said to the previous rp I did an opinion for, you’ve got a lot of underused males but not enough underused females so I’d like to see an increase in the underused female FCs. Overall, this rp is flippin’ awesome and I’m in love with it. If I had the time, I’d totally apply and join but I don’t so I’ll just tag this as a recommendation and wish you the best of luck!
