this au consists of the best magic users ever being fatui harbingers (rip traveler) because evil hot and crazy sexy, instead of adding more harbingers they replace already existing ones because one two three enough fatui for me

((before moving on for ppl that do play genshin but dont know much about the fatui harbingers, there's 11 of them and they're ranked based on strength, personally i wouldnt even know how to scale them based on their powers so i didnt touch the ranks, just switched out the characters))

i was initially planning on making loki take scaramouche's place because i found scara's "YOU'RE INTERRUPTING A CONVERSATION BETWEEN GODS......" dialogue in the sumeru quest so funny and because the idea of loki being a fake-god seemed cool, but her as the cryo archon and overall leader of the fatui was too good to put aside

IMPORTANT NOTE/EDIT: NVM YALL LMFAOOOO I DECIDED (iwas MANIPULATED /j /aimed) TO CHANGE LOKI BACK TO TAKING SCARAMOUCHE'S PLACE there's a lot more things they have in common and it sets an interesting dynamic between him and other characters in this au, including thor ("better version of him"), strange (using loki as a vessel to create a god) etc

after deciding on making Wong the Director, i considered making Mordo take Il Capitano's place or Pantalone's/The Regrator's, but i was really really unsure, he didn't seem to fit either of them and by making him take the Regrator's place I would be putting him in a rank that is wayy too low (9) and considering how little there is about Pulcinella (literally almost nothing), I would have a lot of creative freedom

fred + velmas friendship means SO much to me u have no idea like numero uno blowout beach bash is my best friend for what it did for them but its just how the crux of their relationship is how theyre able to relate to each other most - like while that element of relatability between them is obscured or more implicit in some iterations (sdmi for example) i think its SUCH an important facet of their relationship. they are two sides of the same coin u know. they bounce off of each other SO well whether its them putting their heads together or lightheartedly teasing the other. the whats new era + be cool did so much for the velma + fred bestie truthers

tbh im a certified Fan of their outfits in frighthouse of a lighthouse + loch ness monster like theyre not the MOST different outfits in the world but i think theyre silly….loch ness monster more specifically actually bc we get bucket hat velma there

i also love like. all of their snow outfits like u cant go wrong with those tbh!!! be cool in particular has great subtle variation throughout which i enjoy. also also like EVERY scrappy outfit ever i do not care seeing them put him in these absolutely MINUSCULE outfits makes me tear up…..hes so baby….

AUGHHH its SO hard picking b/w my top 2 so ill say both: cyber chase + the sword and the scoob!!!!! the former i think while couldve benefitted from a larger cast i still love so mucb like it reads like such a love letter to the franchise to me its hard to articulate why i love it so much!!! it just makes me feel warm n sometimes thats all u need. wrt the latter i really really love the character + relationship writing in it!!! it feels so deeply GENUINE to me that i can even brush over one of my least fave aspects of the modern character writing (extreme skeptic velma) bc i have so much fun with it. like man when im watching this movie im kicking my feet througjout purely bc of the characters n their relationships….i dont even care about the mystery hugely though i think the idea of them being in a performance is cool i think it coulda been executed better (and they shouldve been in wales not england smh smh) but tbh whatever. the sword and the scoob is my best friend <333

SO HARD AGAIN BUT gotta be equally whats new, thirteen ghosts + be cool

whats new IS partly bc its the one from my childhood (even if i wasnt actually a scooby fan back then + was actually scared of it lol…can u imagine) but it radiates comfort for me. the theme song alone is to make me just feel purely happy u know….but anyway besides that i love the overall character writing in wsnd!!! its the last show we got with casey kasem + ill always love the snark he brought to shaggys character which is very apparent in this show. daphnes resourcefulness takes center stage which is always just super funny and endearing like girl i dont think thats supposed to work but <333 velma is portrayed as sarcastic but its never meanspirited like its made CLEAR how much she loves her friends. theyre just all so silly and love each other sooo much….

thirteen ghosts i havent actually finished yet BUT despite that its literally already at the top for me lol like firstly i love the premise - its a breakaway from the traditional scooby formula but honestly by the structuring of the episodes u wouldnt think so!!! that different take is executed VERY well imo. the cast of characters r all so very endearing like they r family…. ive always loved the decision to place daphne in a leadership role esp considering what its since engendered. flim flam is SUCH a little guy. hes a witty kid who gives great balance to the cast n his relationships w vincent + scrappy are SO!!! good honestly. vincent is funny like his entire predicament reminds me of thay thing like “found family but its a group of kids who adopt an old guy instead of the other way around” u get it….

be cool is absolutely the funniest scoobh show like no question AND its got great writing to boot!!! ive talked about character + relationship writing a lot and thats just bc thats what really makes or breaks scooby media for me lol. for be cool it BEYOND makes it!!! their dynamic is so well done like bro they r teens. they are stupid 18 year olds with thwir collective dog bestie travelling around the united states and shenanigans occur. there are so many be cool episodes just stuck to my brain bc of how genuinely great they are. and its a show where yeah its goofy and silly and comedic but it can alsp be sooo genuine i love it <333 be cool my absolute beloved

scooby doo 2002 still holds up after all these years i was like 11 when it came out but being 32 I can appreciate more after getting into scooby and watching trainwrecks like . im sorry mystery inc i just find that show so annoying from the stupid explanations to how the monsters do inhuman things/ the main cast in general / the movie they felt like friends that loved eachother even after the breakup. in MI it feels like they just tollerate eachother.. im on season 2 so i feel i have a right to say it doesn't hold up to tumblrs nostalgia for it. but the scooby movie def does. and i dont even like the writer for it i think hes a freak after reading those tweets but the actors are having fun and you can tell want to be there. so I can enjoy it for the acting esp the one for shaggy whoisdingnftsughh .. but oh well.. its a good movie 8/10 Mystery inc 4/10 .

The CGI for Scooby/ Monsters is also not so bad .. like dear god the ones for disney are UGLY AS SIN.. here there kinda cute at least i thought so.. scoob looks a bit weird but its 10 times better than lifeless disney CGI characters.

i could write an essay ( i probably have if u put all my rants to friends together sbjcjsncja ) but . ill condense some of my main gripes into some simple / quick bullet points ( edit : lol )

rue and mytho should NOT have ended up togethar . i could get into it but these are supposed to be short bullet points ajdnjca . edit : my other bullet points got long too so nevermind ill just say it sjxjcka . they dont actually love eachother , at least not romantically , if at all . rue was abused and manipulated by the raven into believing that no one could possibly love her besides mytho , shes super dependent on him emotionally and spent most of her time with him treating him liek a doll , he was her pet boyfriend . the ending feels liek mytho feels obligated to be with her , hes liek woah she really loves me , i should make her happy and be with her , i want to protect her . heres tha thing tho : mytho is not owed to rue because shes sad . he is not a consolation prize . shes had a hard life and i feel for her but their relationship is not healthy . so is mytho just supposed to walk on eggshells around her for tha rest of his lief ? is he supposed to cater to her and stay by her forever because shes obsessed with him ? no . she needs therapy . she needs friends . it was so good seeing her with ahiru , i wish they expanded on that friendship moare . she needs to separate from mytho , who shes been clinging onto all this time . she needs to realize that other people can and will love her , that shes not a monster , and that her behavior towards mytho was absolutely unacceptable . mytho could be friends with her after a while but they absolutely need time apart and he absolutely deserves to live for himself , not to live for this really sad girl who needs him for her to be happy . also i know hes a fictional character turned real boy and he doesnt age , at least not without his heart ( maybe he'll age from here on out ? ) but does NO ONE ELSE find it creepy that rue met him when she was liek . a toddler . 5 or 6 years old at tha most . and mytho was already 14 - 16 . i get it he was in a fugue state and he doesnt really have a ' real ' age but . feels weird scoob

mytho should not have gone back into the story . he should have gotten to liek . be a person . instead they shove him right back into the story to keep playing the part he was given and keep being this perfect prince ?? what ???? i thought everyone was supposed to BREAK their roles . not mytho i guess . he has to ride off into the sunset with someone who kept him as a pet boyfriend for most of her time with him . nah , mytho should have stayed out of the book and been given a chance to discover himself , get a hobby , rest . let him stop fighting . let him be a person . please

fakir ( and rue but i alteady talked about her , this bullet point is about fakir ) should have apologized . i know tha fandom loves to kiss his ass but he straight up textbook abused mytho [ this cannot be waved away by ' oh but mytho didnt feel anything so its okay ' because fakir specifically refrences that he knows mytho is getting his feelings back as early as tha first shard , and his behavior does not change . it might have even gotten worse ] and the only thing he said about that was a halfhearted " yeah ive been kind of a jerk huh " to no one in particular at the end . hello . i dont hate him and i know hes had his struggles too , they all have . but i wish he got ANY repercussions for his actions . hes pretty much completely off the hook for the way he acted , narratively and through most of the fandom's reception . oh boo hoo mytho was drunk off ravens blood that was forced upon him and in a different state of mind he yelled at fakir . thats the most fakir has ever had to deal with from mytho ( he actually hasnt gotten ANY kind of flack from mytho that wasnt because of the ravens blood ) and its unsatisfying . he and mytho need to talk about everything that happened . fakir needs to say sorry

I loveed bojack horseman characters being awful has never been a turn off for me unless they are condecnding smug but alot of velmas dialouge just feels FAKE.. who talks like her??? people in hollywood??? i cant connect to someone who feels like a Bot / is just cruel to everyone learns a lesson for 2 seconds only to go back to be awful.. bobo kept trying but always just failed in the end and had to pay for his horrible actions (going to prison /losing his friends) but to me that show gives off a good message on reformation

i think making velma be awful in the past and future to everyone around her was a big turn off for people to sympathize with her.. 5/12 /15 year old velma all had the same personality.. sure its a cartoon but thats so unrelasitic and not reltable at all .. my annoyance with family guy was everyone was awful to eachother/esp to meg and any lessons learned were soon erased

mystery INC well tumblr just let me down on that recommendation 23 eps in and im only watching it for Fred/ Daphne/Velma/Shaggy even Scooby dont interest me.. at this point. i find em all so boring.. /velma irrriating/ they dont even feel like friends to me.. and i was told this was the best scoob show about friendship. and had thier personalities perfect. . sure theres another season but s1 should have blown me away and it failed. daph/norville had more to do in velma than they do in MI.

when you have velma accuse shaggy of ruining the group because he loves scooby it ruins her.. they ruined velma in MI. friends dont ask you to choose your beloved pet over them esp a talking one.. and now shaggy wante her back.. cause.. this show loves stupid romance drama to much..
