I love this show and this fandom with my whole heart. being a part of this with you all has honestly been a formative experience in my life and i dont think i will ever forget it 💘💘💘

there’s no way i can put into words how much this fandom means to me so i’m just gonna tag some of the people and creators who have made me laugh, cry, scream, etc... I’ve always thought that if you watch this show but you’re not in the fandom you’re seriously missing half of the experience !! The incredible analyses, artworks, and fics that flesh out the world and the characters and bring them to life in totally new ways. The love and friendships that have come from it. The best part of She-Ra for me has always been this beautiful community we made together.

I absolutly love the Evil!Adora AU from @sconefacedgirl , like imagine how the dinamics might have changed between Catra and Adora. In my mind, Adora would still have been the Golden Child of Shadow Weaver and the Horde, and Catra was still the escape goat, but SW’s manipulation did work in this case:

Just imagine. Adora is the Perfect Soldier and she loves it. She digs the power dinamycs in the Horde and how the weak are inferior and she loves being the number one because she is strong and the Best. Her ambition raised to the maximum, power-hungry and blinded by SW’s manipulation. And Catra, on the other hand, is still the punch bag and the “weak one”, but in this case her “good heart” takes over all of her upbringing, just as a the underdog trope. Adora feels responsable for Catra’s safety, she has a soft spot for that feline who she knows is weak because she would not attack or hurt other people (inferior people, in her mind) so when Catra finds the Sword and becomes a princess, The Princess of Power, She-ra, Adora goes nuts. She has been all her life sacrificing her place in the Horde for this scrungy little girl and the First Time she gets a little bit of freedom she has the audacity to betray her??? She has the nerve to abandon hER???

So the play is set in motion. Adora takes it far too personal and becomes cold and cruel, but Catra, as inferior and broken as she feels, can’t help but remember the little girl who helped her all those years and even if she hates this, she has to fight her because she knows what is like to be hurt and abused and doesn’t want anyone to feel that way and Adora ends up losing her mind because she doesn’t actually want to hurt people, she hated seeing Catra hurt, but her mind is twisted by years of mental manipulation and SW’s tricks, and until SW gets out of the picture she doesn’t start to think that maybe, she has been wrong all along...

This AU writes itself honestly. It is just as if their own moral compasses were slightly tilted to the other end. Adora a little more ambitious and little less compassionate, and Catra a little more kind and a lot less spiteful.
