☠  - greatest fear

        – HC. apart from drowning, it’d be loneliness. being on his absolute own. he’s already had to go through it as a child-- the feeling of being there, with his parents, yet not there at the same time ( given that they barely even remembered he was there, that he was their son, unless he or they need something from the other ). 

        -- getting his pokemon was a necessity that he hadn’t realized he needed & just the thought of losing them, of not having them by his side anymore, is enough to make him lose his mind. same goes to the skulls & whatever new friendships he makes-- now that he has something he gained through his own hard work ( instead of it all being given to him ), he fears losing it. it’s mostly bc of this that he’s often seen as attached to those he considers precious ( be they friends / crushes ) & in turn at times makes him violent. even if it’s someone he absolutely hates, he’d cling to them like a second limb if it was he & them in an isolated island tbh, bc he’d be absolutely terrified to be out on his own after he’s finally seen what being w/ other’s is like.

most of the time, i do enjoy writing him.im pretty easily discouraged though, so that effects my actual desire to write him sometimes.

i dont know what my favourite part of it isgetting to expand upon what little canon material we are given in game, i guess. im prone to going off on tangents in irl conversations, so having a point to doing so (and about something i enjoy at that) is nice.
