MY THOUGHTS/WHAT HAPPENED AT THE PATB Q&A PANEL THAT I WENT TO
Okay so this whole panel was like. Awesome sauce. It was so cool and gaaa I loved it. I also was able to ask the first questions!! Which was great because last year I never got to ask anything 💔
So here’s what I asked:
1- if Rob has ever sang Yakko’s World as Pinky (according to someone in the audience he did)
2- if they knew about Dark Pinky (no but I’m pretty sure I started smth with them wanting to read the PaTB comics)
3- If they knew about how people on the autism spectrum and/or with ADHD really relate to the characters they voice
Number 3 was hard to ask, but I did and I’m proud of myself. They also said how I was very brave to ask that and they loved answering the question. I forget the answer but like they thought I was super cool and I was just losing my mind the entire time
The person who said that Rob did in fact sing Yakko’s World as Pinky also asked in the beginning of the panel if anyone shipped brinky (although everyone was kinda talking to each other as Rob and Mo weren’t there yet but I was raising my hand in spirit)
They also asked if Rob and Mo could sing a love song as Pinky and Brain which was like. Cmon. ✨Brinky✨🫵🏳️🌈
I talked to the person after the panel for like 2 minutes and they were really cool! They actually have a YouTube channel:
https://youtube.com/@ImABunStudio
Awesome sauce /pos
My overall thoughts: AGAHSAHKSJSAKSK INCREDIBLE GAHHH‼️‼️ they were so nice and I’m really proud of myself for asking the questions!
I was having one of those autism panic attacks right before the panel and my dad told me to draw smth to help me calm down, and I also decided to write some question drafts:
(“Fav Gatorade flavor” yeah as you could see, I couldn’t really think of anything. my dad actually suggested the Autism & ADHD one to me)
Yeah. Yeah! Ok. Yeah. It was like super nice and I can’t wait for the video of the panel to be on YouTube!

Canvas prints have been restocked at Painting Dragon Feathers in prep for Sci-fi Valley Con, including some new designs—“Arrival of the Fairy Queen”, “Jersey Devil” and in a first, a massive 16” x 24” canvas of “Sea Monsters”. Popular artworks such as “Death” and “Imperial Kirin” have also been restocked—with GILDED ACCENTS. Several other prints feature these hand-embellished gold ink details, they are just REALLY tricky to photograph.
See what’s in stock at the Painting Dragon Feathers booth at Sci-fi Valley, Anthrocon, Tekko, Otakon, and more this summer, or check out the Painting Dragon Feathers online shop year round (info in bio).

A bit of a weird question, but I might be moving out of my home state to minnesota, specifically minneapolis, because being trans down here is rather rough. Do you have any advice for living in the state? Cool hidden spots? What to do for a person who's never experienced a snowy winter?
Alrighty, a few things I can mention - some of it is secondhand so don't take my word for it, but it'll be helpful. -Trans healthcare (and quality of healthcare) is pretty good in the state in my experience. You SHOULD be able to find the resources you need, though bear in mind while quality is good, price is no different - shit's still expensive everywhere because health care is itself expensive, but any other Minnesotans here feel free to reblog or chime in the replies with anything particularly useful or helpful. -Alrighty, your winter experiences will be slightly different depending on if you're living in the suburbs or the city itself. In an apartment in the city? You're probably fine - I'm assuming relying on public transportation, of which there are several options like the buses or light rail, though I know people from other cities who come to Minnesota say our public transport is lacking compared to other major cities. What I can say is that with the winter, unless it's a REALLY bad storm or the temperature drops to dangerous levels (we're talking degrees below zero), everything should still be open and running. -If you have your own car, during the winter keep weighted things in it - a cement block, bags of sand/salt, etc. Increased weight helps keep you from slipping. It's not perfect but it helps. Consequently, if you lose control on the ice, turn INTO the skid and pump the brakes - don't just press it flat, repeatedly pump the brakes to regain control. -If you have a house and a front walk/driveway, SHOVEL AND SALT. Overhangs on houses drip water when the temperature is right for melting, but the temperature will usually drop and freeze. Salt that area to either prevent it from freezing or make it easier to chop through with an ice chipper. Shoveling is just necessary depending on the severity of the snow (usually anything more than an inch or two should be shoveled) both for safety and because mail carriers will not deliver if you don't. -This year we had a reeeaally bad winter. Multiple heavy snowstorms that required going out to shovel multiple times during the day. Get warm clothes, wear layers - especially until you're used to it. However, most years it's fine. Light snowfall during winter, covers everything, maybe one bad storm but most of the time tolerable. -As for stuff to do - TONS! Minnesota has a thriving community of nerds, artists, performers, and just talented people in general. We have two major zoos - one of them paid, one free (Como Zoo), multiple parks and indeed Land of 10,000 Lakes so lots of lake beaches to enjoy swimming or fishing if that's your thing. The Science Museum remains one of the coolest places to learn stuff on various science topics even into adulthood. Conventions are relatively plentiful, though as a warning some cons are for-profit and have some... questionable leadership, look into them before deciding to go - particularly on the anime con front, but we have sci-fi/fantasy cons aplenty, too. The Mall of America is a big, big place with tons of fun stores and whatnot, including the former Camp Snoopy (currently Nickelodeon Universe). The Walker Art Center has an amazing statue garden, including the iconic Cherry and Spoon fountain. There's also the amusement park Valley Fair, which during Halloween becomes Valley Scare with spooky attractions in the neighboring area that's used for the annual Renaissance Festival. -Minnesota is a fairly large state. Not Texas big, but since it's mostly plains and hills, a lot of it is spread out and getting from one city to another usually requires going on freeways (we're also weird because we have left exits on some parts of freeways). If you don't have your own vehicle, you may want to consider getting one just to get to farther places. That's all I've got off the top of my head! Good luck with your move and remember: we only have two seasons here - Winter and Road Construction.

This is a commission I did a few weeks ago for the one, the only, Michaela Murphy, voice actress for Toph Beifong!
Long story short, I was tabling at a Sci-Fi Valley Con in PA, she was a celebrity guest, multiple people got turtleducks they bought from me signed by her to the point that she came LOOKING FOR ME, found me, and commissioned these hybrid animals. You can see her liking and commenting on my Instagram post of it (:
Truly honored to interact with such an awesome human and make something for her!
Do not trace, steal, or repost! 🙏

Keeping you updated on the Avatar news, specifically the voice actors of the fire foursome
(Ty Lee's VA wasn't there)
In the sci-fi valley con cast panel, the host started with "we're filming you guys so don't day anything that will get you in trouble with nickelodeon" and Dante immediately turned to Grey (who was sitting beside him) and gave her a "he's talking about you" look.
Cricket Leigh, who plays Mai, introduced her character as the "badest goth bitch" before realizing she probably shouldn't curse and changed course but when it was Grey's turn she started with "You're not the badest bitch Cricket" in Azula's voice
Cricket was nervous about the first scene when Zuko and Mai were kissing cause she thought she'd have to kiss Dante to film it. She was anxious and biting down on her nails and she ended up chipping her tooth. Now, Grey's reaction to that was "little did she know that broken teeth were his kink, so..." because she's physically incapable of not teasing Dante
Cricket, Dante and Grey all say that The Beach is in their top 3 episodes cause it brought them closer to their characters and each other's characters *wink wink nudge nudge say no more say no more*
Dante and Michaela were asked about how a life changing field trip with Zuko and Toph would go and Michaela said "we'd probably end up in jail, but it is okay, we could get out of it cause we're benders" and Dante says "I mean, when you have the greatest earth bender of the world with you, you know you'll be fine and I'm not a bad firebender, I'm decent... I mean, I'm not as good as her *points at Grey* but I'm doing pretty good" and then Grey mattered "Smart move"
Finally, Grey said that she doesn't know anyone in the Avatar fandom who is an asshole (she even whispered the word asshole) which is good since it means that no Azula haters go after her for being the voice of Azula and not hating Azula (it happens in some other fandoms. People send gate to the actor of a character they don't like. But thankfully Grey doesn't have to deal with any of that.)
That is all GREAT and I already found the video to watch it myself because it sounds like it was one hell of a fun time.
"Little did she know that broken teeth were his kink, so..." Jesus, Grey just gives everything every single time. We do not deserve that woman. And her being unable to stop teasing Dante really shows why she was the perfect Azula XD
