Sheffield have one of the best organised defences in the league. Do people think Henderson would be better than De Gea in front of our chaotic defence in his second ever season in the premier league??
I think Henderson is talented but idk....I watched him quite a bit on two loans so far and I think people might be equating correalation with causation. But I could be totally wrong and he could be a world class keeper. I def think he deserves a shot in the future. I also think De Gea needs competition to get him back on track, and his form is a worry BUT ALL THIS SAID...
I also think we’ve gotten goalkeepers wrong so often that he seems more likely to go Lindegaard/Carroll/Howard/Taibi/Barthez/Bosnich/Kuszczak route than the Schemichel/Van der Sar/De Gea route. The other part of this is that people don’t seem to respect De Gea enough, and the most grating thing I’ve seen is that people go “can’t wait to see people blame ole for ANOTHER MISTAKE BY DE GEA”. like maybe have respect for the man who stuck by us through our darkest times when he could have gone literally anywhere else and had a career fitting of his abilities?

Emails, Emails, Emails! 'Tuesday' 'What a save from...The @england goalkeeper. My big dream is to play for @fcbarcelona #workharddreambig #ashleyhindswhdb The focus from these pupils is intense I would not be surprised if success is granted to them in the future. When you let a child dream it shows them all the doors they can aspire to open. But when you diligently allow them to plan and dream it opens all unlocked doors in their mind. Well done to your young man, I am very proud that you have not dropped your standard but you've dreamt of being at the highest level possible. @england @fcbarcelona you need to watch out he may be in your trial lost in the near future. Let's also talk about someone shining a laser pointer into kasper schemichels eyws during the penalty. If anyone deserves to be made fun of today it's the english fans.
Why aren't we allowed to make fun of England when they bullied a child for crying??

Chelsea 1-0 Leicester LIVE: Scores and updates, Mason Mount goal fires Blues in front | Football | Sport
CHELSEA 1-0 LEICESTER
7: GOAL Mason Mount – Chelsea 1-0 Leicester
Perfect response from the youngster who robs Wilfried Ndidi on the edge of his own box.
He makes no mistake this time as his low drive leaves Schemichel with no chance. Well deserved.
5: Just looking at that Mason Mount chance again and he should have scored really.
It was a brilliant ball forward from Jorginho that Oliver Giroud just guided into the path of the youngster.
He took it first time on this left foot but it was far too close to Schmeichel.
2: CLOSE! Chelsea nearly get the perfect start as Pedro unleashes a volley at goal.
Half the ground think it’s in but his effort hits the side netting.
Fans were already in five voice and are threatening to blow the roof off the bridge now.
Mason Mount then goes through but can’t find a way past Kasper Schmeichel who saves.
The resulting comes in and is scrambled away to safety,
Superb start by the hosts.
CHELSEA 0-0 LEICESTER
1: Chelsea get us underway at Stamford Bridge
Scott of bother.
4.14pm Referee Graham Scott is apparently stuck in traffic on the A40 and won’t make the start of the game!
Fourth official Oliver Langford is currently warming up and is set to take over.
What do you pink?
4pm Just half an hour until kick-off at Stamford Bridge and keep an eye out for Leicester’s new pink kit that they will be wearing for the first time.
Opinions appear to be split – some say it looks more like Angel Delight than a football kit.
Thoughts? Comment below the line and let us know what you think.
Rodgers backing his squad
4.51pm Brendan Rodgers is backing his Leicester side to upset the odds today following their 0-0 draw with Wolves last time out.
“It’s a long season. For us, it’s step by step. We made a solid start last weekend and we were defensively very good.
“The competition is very tough, but we’ve got a talented squad that we’re developing over time.”
Talking Frank
4.46pm A quick reminder of what Lampard said in the build-up as he admitted it would be a proud moment when he leads the team out today.
“I’m proud to manage this club,” he said.
“I’ve been back a few times and had great support so it will be an emotional, special day for me but the important thing is that we win the game.”
Starting to get serious
4.40pm What do we make of the starting line ups then?
Lampard continues to keep faith with young Mason Mount but Tammy Abraham misses out with Olivier Giroud leading the line.
Kurt Zouma might count himself a little lucky to keep his place after an extremely poor display against Manchester United last weekend.
It will also be interesting to see how the midfielders operator with both Jorginho and N’Golo Kante.
4.34pm Christian Pulisic is handed a first Premier League start by Frank Lampard while Andreas Christensen is fit despite concerns priori to kick-off.
Christian Fuchs is a surprise inclusion for Leicester as he comes in for Ben Chilwell.
4.30pm CONFIRMED TEAMS
Chelsea: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Zouma, Emerson, Mount, Jorginho, Kante, Pedro, Giroud, Pulisic
Subs: Caballero, Alonso, Tomori, Barkley, Kovacic, Abraham, Willian
Leicester: Schmeichel, Ricardo, Evans, Soyuncu, Fuchs, Choudhury, Ndidi, Tielemans, Maddison, Perez, Vardy
Subs: Ward, Justin, Morgan, Praet, Albrighton, Barnes, Iheanacho
3.15pm Thank you for joining our live coverage as Chelsea welcome Leicester to west London.
It is a huge day for Frank Lampard who will manage his side at Stamford Bridge for the first time in a competitive match.
And who he could do with a victory here.
In truth, the 4-0 loss at Manchester United in their opening game of the season flattered the hosts and their performance in the penalty shootout defeat by Liverpool in the European Super Cup gave Lampard a number of reasons to feel encouraged.
Leicester are a tough opponent, though, and Brendan Rodgers has assembled a squad many believe is capable of challenging for a place in the top six.
Stay with us as we build up to kick-off (4.30pm). We’ll have the confirmed teams in around 15 minutes as well.

Michael Owen told BT Sport: & # 39; You know how to concentrate when the ball is virtually on target. or off the target. In this case it was absolutely not on the target.
& # 39; You just throw a leg in it. You can not aim at a certain angle, you just try to lead it to the goal. It is actually a very good finish. "
