which of the four seasons suits my muse best,  and why?  

Beckett’s very much a fall kinda guy.  Not only is it his favorite season because the stifling Georgia humidity is finally easing up, but also football season is in full swing.  In all seriousness, Beckett’s very laid back and most of the time has a very cool disposition about everything.  He’s also very cozy (the boy’s a cuddler).

libby & lia for the ship thing!!

drinks all of the coffee: lia, likely--but then again, i imagine libby also needing a large pot of joe as well. lets be real they make an extra large pot and somehow it’s all gone by morning’s end. 

brings up adopting a pet: both of them??? like, can you imagine either one of them not wanting to love on an animal of their own?

kills the bugs: i think there’s be a lot of screaming, because who likes bugs--but sourthern gals can get the job done when they need to. but i also imagine lia giving herself a TON of self pep talks while libby is watching like “you got this, you go girl, you can do this” the WHOLE time

cooks the meals: they both do--of course they do. and its good food. but when they bake together? oh doggie now that is where the magic happens folks. 

starts getting into holidays way before they should: lia loves christmas with her whole heart, so this is definitely her. but enthusiasm rubs off!

initiates the couple selfies: i feel like this is a libby thing, for sure. like lia likes photos but she’s too self concious to ask for one. libby would get her to do this fo sho

forgets the birthdays and anniversaries: FORGET? IMPORTANT? DATES? not either one of them. lia knows them all--even a childhood pet’s birthday. and something tells me libby would never forget something important to her or the people she cares about. 

always ends up with too much junk food after grocery shopping: hmmm, libby. i imagine like a cart FULL of pimento cheese and pizza rolls. but we all know lia’s gonna steal some of that for sure. 

nicknames the other: lia. lia loves herself a good nickname and libby would have a million of them from her.

🍻+if you could re-do one moment of your life, which would it be and why?

“Awh, hell.” Marley chuckled, her head falling into her hands. “I’ve had way too many drinks to try and answer this, but…okay.” Lifting her head, Marley clasped her hands together and tried to take a deep, cleansing breath. “If I had to pick one? It’d be going to Texas. I’d still go, obviously - I met one of my favorite human beings there.” She chuckled, thinking of how she and Mig had met. “But the mental state that I went in, I’d change. I was blamin’ myself for a lot of stuff I couldn’t control and had a lot of guilt about a lot of stuff that wasn’t my fault. That headspace lead me to thinkin’ I deserved the awful things that happened to me when no one deserves that kinda disrespect. So, that I’d redo. Get myself into a healthier place and then go.” She nodded, pleased with her maybe too honest answer.

a scoff. “harsh?” he slurred looking at the girl next to him. “ive never been harsh to you.” he said shaking his head and laughing. so one too many drinks later and preston was ready for his usual antics of causing trouble but instead…sofia had caught him in a conversation he didn’t think he was starting to like. “what the fuck makes you think im any different anyway? just because im pissed. im not…” his hand slipped and he bobbed his head slightly in frustration. “look im not afraid of anything!”

roses; what is the most significant event in your life so far?

“the most significant event in my life so far? like good or bad? well, if i get to pick i’ll choose good. getting married, that was significant to me. that and becoming a detective. it was really cool to put on that badge--they let me keep my brothers, which was really special. that was great.”

smoochies; how many pillows do you sleep with?

“at least four, if not six. depends on if i’m sharing a bed though.” she winks.

how many piercings do you have?

“Uhm–my ears are pierced but that’s about it. Needles…freak me out.” Thinks about her tattoo. “Well, most of the time they do. Sometimes, with enough, uh liquid encouragement, they’re not so freaky.”

🍐  :    how intelligent is my muse overall?  are they smarter than the average person,  or less than?  are they primarily self-taught,  or did they acquire most of their knowledge in school?  are they more street smart or book smart?

marley’s intelligence is pretty average. her way of speaking makes her seem a little more dense than she really is, but marley knows a lot of practical things - what most people would probably consider street smart. marley’s been self-taught when it comes to everyday life - like changing a tire or fixing the creaky door hinge - but she’s also spent a lot of time in school, especially now that she’s going back for her veterinary degree. so, marley is a pretty solid mix of both street and book smart.

if it wasn’t for her scream then preston probably wouldn’t have reacted much. he had dealt with one guest making it as if the dog poop left on the front corridor was his job. “night security, ma’am. was this...poop assulting you in anyway? No? then i can radio you to the janitor.” he replied to this woman who had now ruined a pair of perfect louis vuitton heels and scoffed when he didn’t help. preston rolled his eyes instead. but this scream was hopefully more serious and when he came around he corner to find a damsel in distress...her victim being a mouse of all things he really couldn’t be surprised at this point.  

taking a deep sigh the taller male shook his head. “you have got to be kidding me. is my job just a joke?” he said to himself but in the end grabbed a little box and worked around trying to trap the mouse only to look down, then back up at sofia. “you have been saved, now. would you like to face your attacker before i send him away?”

💀 YOUR MUSE COMFORTING MY MUSE DURING A SCARY MOVIE

dawn curled up next the sofia on the couch of her lavish guest suite at the malnati. “it’s okay hun it’s just a movie.” she replied as she cuddled the red head in her arms. they had decided to branch out of both of their comfort zones and watch a movie. the only problem with the movie they had chosen was that it was a lot scarier than either of them had anticipated. “remember none of it’s real.” dawn tried her best to stay positive as she watched the movie between her fingers. “it’s just a—AH!” the girls jumped from their places on the couch rushing to the tv. “let’s watch something else?” she suggested. “do you wanna watch the notebook or something instead?”

“wow this is beautiful.” dawn replied as the two girls laid in the grass. dawn had taken sofia in the outserts of chicago to show her one of the best spots she knew for taking beautiful pictures. sofia would dress up in beautiful outfits and dawn would shoot them in different areas of chicago depending on the look. towards the end when it became too dark to take good photos ( unless you had the right equipment, which dawn didn’t.) the girls laid in the field and looked up at the stars. it was so peaceful which the crickets and the wind. “you know.. I never expected someone like you to be interested in someone like me...” dawn gazed up at the stars thinking in that moment how grateful she was for the malnati for giving her the opportunity to meet such great people. “Just.. Thank you for being my friend.”

🍎: how stable is my muse’s mental health?  have they been diagnosed with any mental illnesses and  /  or conditions?  do they have any undiagnosed mental illnesses and  /  or conditions?  do they or should they attend therapy?  

tw: anxiety, disordered eating

it is very likely lia has anxiety, but mental health was not a conversation that happened in the barnes household. her perfectionism had quite a life of its own when she was growing up. her mother had been very focused on being the best, whatever that meant. usually, it was lia being enrolled in every pageant in the state–and then some. for weeks she would train, throwing batons in the air, yo-yo dieting, practicing her speech and answers to questions. there as no control or agency in the blonde’s life–except for in two places. her relationship with @ericwolfe was a place where she was able to be her own version of herself. she carried baggage, but it was like she could put it away for the time she was with him–though clearly, in the end, her mother won that control too, as she had left without so much as a goodbye and wasn’t given the choice to do so (or, well, lia had the ability too–but she was so fearful and broken that the risk of rejection by him of all people had caused her to listen to her mother). the second place her control manifested was in the way she approached food–a dangerous game she played. one that came back to destroy her that fateful spring day. 

nowadays, she has learned stuffing is better than feeling, and anything that can help her hide her truth from the world, she clings to. for her, its relationships and serving others. the more she can focus on others, the less she has time to tend to those demons within her. should she go to therapy? yes. will she? well, her walls have been up for so long, she’s not sure anything will make them come down.

prince; how would you describe your handwriting?

“Uh, kind of chicken scratchy? But still loopy and feminine? If that makes any sort of sense. It’s this cross between print and cursive that’s super weird and unique. I don’t hand write much if I can avoid it.”

sunshine; do you prefer for things to be practical or aesthetically pleasing?

“I wish I was the type of person who could do the whole pretty aesthetics, got-my-life-put-together thing, but I am a simple, practical gal. I’ve barely got myself put together as it is? Tryin’ to put a pretty little bow on somethin’ bein’ held together by a piece of string, duct tape, and some gum ain’t gonna change the fact that it’s still a big ol’ mess. Sometimes ya just gotta accept it for what it is.”
