Alright. Who watches Nashville and where's the good Scarlett x Gunnar fic?

Watching Scarlett and Gunnar sing As The Crow Flies was so heartbreaking because it was basically an anthem for their relationship. I lost it when she broke on stage and you could tell that her family could see how much pain she was in. As Gunnar looked over into her eyes he could see and he knew what it meant. I don’t blame Gunnar for what he said to Scarlett, because we have seen him fight for her all season even to the point of raising another mans baby. I believe that Scarlett loves Gunnar but she is lost right now after everything that’s happened and so unsure of herself. I believe that Scarlett needs to feel what it’s like to not have Gunnar by her side in order to really appreciate him and sort out her feelings for him. I dread seeing her with another guy especially since she made that comment to Gunnar about him needing to figure out things by himself, but that’s probably going to happen. I still believe They will find their way back to each other just like Deacon and Rayna did and I hope that next season Scarlett realizes she’s a strong independent woman whose decisions are valid and she fights for Gunnar because she knows he’s always been the right choice.

I'm so annoyed with nashville rn because like how did an abusive and manipulative man become a possible love interest??? Like he is literally abusive. And yet Scarlett is questioning everything with Gunnar for this dude? I don't understand!

(also just to be clear i haven’t caught up on s5 yet so idk if they’ve had any iconic scenes this season)

season one was really their prime honestly.

i guess, if i had to choose, i really liked the scene where gunnar had just moved in, and avery arrived out of nowhere and tried to talk to scarlett but then gunnar walked in and he defended her but scarlett also stood up for herself and then everything escalated. (don’t get me wrong, i love avery, but this scene was awesome)

OMG ... this was THE moment that drew me into what would become a crazy Nashville ride for me ... Scunnar was magical from the beginning. I remember watching this and thinking “Oh this is going to be a special show”. Little did I know just how special it would become to me.

( @clarasimone I met Sam once and I kind of ignored him because Clare was on my other side for the photo 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve met her a few times since then and she is a magical fairy creature ... truly. 🌈✨)
