What is the easiest past paradox pokemon to take care of/get along eith? I've been looking into getting one as a companion to prove to my hometown in paldea that not all paradox 'mon are bad if properly treated.

I am DEFINETLY not the one to talk about Paradox pokemon with since they are still being researched and are almost exclusively in Paldea.

A lot of regions actually have a pretty active restriction on them due to their unpredictable nature and lack of info on them.

I have been looking into them but that's a whole different field that we are still learning about.

It seems like the smaller ones are docile enough to be companions but between past and future pokemon, it's really hard to know things like their biology right now, and from what I hear there's a lot of mess going on with the professors in Paldea, so we are waiting on things to clear up there.

Sorry if I can't be much help but it's a whole new field that hasn't made it to sinnoh yet.

I just started replaying RF4/5 so I'm very much at risk of vanishing again, but I will try my best not to. (Project Zomboid and painting my space marines is doing a good job of that anyway)

Scarlett's duty as a ranger of SEED is to make sure the peace is maintained in Rigbarth.

Which her lover does a very good job of disrupting, much to her annoyance.

Whether it's indulging Cecil and his tendencies to investigate "mysteries", going along with Ludmilla's plans, or whatever the hell Ares and Alice was up to, S/O was at the scene of the crime.

Her fingers pinch the bridge of her nose as she sighs in frustration.

Meanwhile, S/O just laughs and bats their eyes innocently.

(S/O) "Hello, Scarlett!~"

(Scarlett) "Do not use that tone of voice with me. What are you doing?"

(S/O) "If I tell you, will you not get mad?"

Scarlett crosses her arms and raises an eyebrow.

(Scarlett) "That depends on your answer."

Though truthfully, Scarlett is grateful that S/O is with her at all, despite their difference in personality.

She's aware of her tendency to be a bit square and rigid, yet S/O loved her all the same.

Their overbearing love teaches her to loosen up, at least in some capacity.

Because sometimes, it was a bit too much.

(Scarlett) "S/O, I refuse to let you redecorate your room!"

(S/O) "Aw, but it'll be really cute!"

(Scarlett) "My face plastered all over your walls is not cute!"

(S/O) "...Palmo thought it was a good idea-"

(Scarlett) "CEASE AND DESIST!"

Dolce's face remains unchanged as both S/O and Pico engage in tomfoolery around Selphia.

Especially the fights where they fight for her "eternal love".

(Pico) "NO! Milady is MINE!"

(S/O) "Dolce would choose me, right sweetie?!"

(Dolce) "Call me that again, and I'll choose to do violence to both of you."

She dares not utter a word of how much she enjoys watching S/O brighten her day, lest she never get to live it down.

Pico and S/O would tease her about it until the end of time.

And since Pico was already a ghost, she actually could do that.

Rarely, Dolce cracks a smile as they both get reprimanded by Nancy.

(Nancy) "S/O, Pico? What have we talked about regarding fighting during breakfast?"

Nancy's menacing smile is enough to get both of them to sit up straight almost bend 90 degrees to apologize.

Making Dolce giggle softly.

(Dolce) "So that's what it takes to make you two be quiet? Maybe I should ask for Nancy to come with us at all times."

(S/O) "N-Not that I'd mind but...!"

(Jones) "Now now, Dolce. Us old timers shouldn't be interfering with your love life."

Dolce's eyes widened a little at Jones' teasing, making Pico and S/O laugh now, with even Nancy joining in.

Dolce glares at the two of them.

(Dolce) "I will kill you two."

Every dramatic and affectionate gesture makes Dolce blush madly, as she tries her best to keep her poker face intact.

All the while, Pico is either hissing, or encouraging S/O.

Clorica is unused to the sheer energy S/O brings to her. And here she thought Amber was a lot sometimes.

But it wasn't unwelcome at all. Having someone so bouncy was helpful in keeping her awake.

...Most of the time.

Whenever she performed her duties around the castle, she always had S/O to talk with, usually about something amusing happening around Selphia or just nothing in particular.

(S/O) "Cloricaaaaa!"

Clorica spun around and caught S/O, who leapt into her arms dramatically.

She almost fell over, but managed to stand her ground, letting out a soft giggle.

(Clorica) "Hello, S/O. I just got done with my duties for now. Would you like to get lunch?"

(S/O) "Heck yeah! I'm starving, let's get going already!"

Clorica is almost dragged along, making her smile even bigger.

Despite how enthusiastic they were, they always made sure to never force Clorica to do anything.

And even S/O understood that sometimes, she just needed the nap.

(Clorica) zzzz.....

(S/O) "Wow! It never fails to amaze me that she can sleep while cleaning!"

(Vishnal) "I aspire to reach that level of efficiency!

(S/O) "Maybe I can ask her to teach us that!"

(Lest) "I...don't think anyone can be at Clorica's level when it comes to that..."

(Frey) "Not even us."

(S/O) "It's a worth a shot! I'm already halfway there, she taught me how to fall asleep on command! Watch-"

(Clorica) "...Huh?"

Clorica's eyes slowly blinked open before her head fell down, and went back asleep.

Transformers One review

I'll start off with a non spoiler review.

First of all, amazing voice acting especially from Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree!! I didnt think Chris would be able to do a good orion/optimus voice but boy was I WRONG. They did amazing. Scarlett Johansson's voice for Elita was an amazing pick and keagan michael for bee's voice is also good.

Stellar voice acting with so much emotion!!

The animation is amazing. And the way they showed the world of cybertron is amazing. The world building in this movie is so good, i seriously feel like cybertron is a real planet with real creatures with its own rules, history, culture. They made the planet feel so alive, its insane.

All the characters were likeable, i was really vouching for all of them to succeed in their goals. The movie knows when to be funny and when to be serious, and it can get REALLY serious when it needs to be. The movie talks about real world problems and reflects it so well.

THE TRAILERS DID NOT DO THE MOVIE JUSTICE.

The trailers really made it look like a kids power ranger type of movie. The trailers gave it a vibe of:

"Bumblebee, you go left! D-16, you go right! And Elita.. well, you just be elita."

When the actual movie really wasnt. I kept my hopes low cause the trailers weren't really hyping me up that much and i didnt expect much from the movie overall but holy moly my expectations were blown away. The movie does have its flaws like any movie but yeah. This genuinely feels like the spiderverse of transformers. Truly amazing.

Overall 9.8/10, amazing job to everyone who worked on this movie, YOU COOKED!!!

I highly reccommend watching it in cinemas. Its worth it, just trust me on this!!!

Waiter! Waiter! I'd like a trilogy of transformers movies that are as good as this!

Id also like to add that this movie is the best transformers movie. And you dont have to be an insane transformers fan like me to like the movie, nor do you have to watch any other transformer movie to understand it. Its a great standalone movie. Its a movie great for both new and old transformer fans and people who are just looking for a good movie to watch.

Now onto the spoiler review

I said all that i wanted to say about the overall movie in the non spoiler review. Here, I'll talk about the actual characters and story.

THIS IS CINEMA HOLY MOLY.

I had to resist screaming in theaters especially the part where Orion and D16 went to that thruster thing to get a better view of the Iacon 5000 and d16 is all like: "You did all this for me?"

AAAGWGSFEGWGSGDGDHHYDTST

The character development with D16 slowly turning into the monster that is megatron is BEAUTIFUL.

The movie writes d16 in a way that makes us NOT want him to turn evil which makes him slowly turning into megatron and betraying orion all the more heartbreaking. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.

Seriously, his descension into evil makes me wanna cry. His unbridled rage towards Sentinel portrayed through the voice acting is just WOW. You can really feel his anger through his voice.

The way his eyes change as the movie progresses is just great. They did great writing him, deep down I really wanted him to be redeemed and for him to NOT turn into a brute like sentinel even though I knew it was inevitable. Some transformations are good, useful even, but in the case of Megatron it was a terrifying transformation thats unfortunately permanent.

Sentinel prime, as much as I hate him he is still such a great character. I hate him so much I love him. THE SCENE WHERE HE WAS BEGGING D16 TO NOT KILL HIM SENT CHILLS. You can feel the amount of fear in his voice. It was a striking contrast to his confident demeanor, his ruthlessness as a 'leader', and he who is the literal killer of the Primes,

to see him BEG for his life truly shows how terrifying D16 is.

ORION PAX AKA THE GLORIOUS OPTIMUS PRIME.

A wonderful and entertaining main character. THE SCENE WHERE HE JUMPS OUT OF THE PIT AS OPTIMUS PRIME??? Holy moly that was so badass. AND THE LINE WHERE HE SAYS:

"We could've built the future together."

GOD IT MAKES ME WANNA CRY.

The expression he made when he saw D16 being absolutely BRUTAL to Starscream as he realizes that his friend is slowly transforming into someone evil is gut-wrenching.

And throughout the first part of the movie he was this reckless character who did stupid things, he had hope and determination unlike anyone. It made me question 'How could this guy possibly turn out to be the strong leader that Optimus is?'

But during that scene where he talked to the other miners and led the High Guard to sentinel made me 100% sure that yeah, this guy definitely can be a great leader. And the way he gave the miners a CHOICE to join him or not. That is PRIME.

Elita was a straight up girlboss. I love how they didn't make her just another love interest for Orion or made her just this girl who was a good fighter. She was sassy, witty, and a hard worker. I almost feel bad for her getting demoted and having to deal with the mess that is Orion, D16 and Bee. But anyways, shes an amazing character, really likeable personality who is way more than just a bot who's a good fighter (which was the impression i unfortunately got from the trailers)

Her pep talk with Orion was both funny and beautiful. She knows how to break someone down with her words and build them back up to be stronger. I loved her. Not to mention her design looks gorgeous??? Probably my fav elita design of all time.

At first I found Bee a strange addition to the movie and I was scared they were gonna make him an annoying character but thank god he really wasnt! He was a great comic relief character who had a lot of funny lines. He adds so much silliness into a serious movie and not in a bad way.

He knew when to be serious and the gravity of the situation with Sentinel being a terrible, corrupt leader. I loved the portrayal of him as this almost crazy guy whos been stuck being alone talking to inanimate objects in a place where all he does is burn trash all day (makes sense as to why he talks so much).

A really good character, thank primus they didnt make him annoying or overbearing.

Lastly, Cybertron itself. THE WORLD BUILDING IS SO GOOD. It's environment, its people (or bots?) make the planet feel so real. All of these cool mechanisms with the road and trains, the landscape during the train scene with the vapor wave-esque sun is just gorgeous. Such a beautiful portrayal of Cybertron that I love.

I personally dont think the movie NEEDS a sequel since the rest of the transformers just takes place after this, but if they make another movie thats as good as this, Im not complaining. If they do make a new movie though, I'll guess that it probably has something to do with the Quintessons or something idk.

Its a really beautiful take on Megatron and Optimus' backstory. And though there are many takes on it like how megatron was a gladiator and not a miner, etc,

This is still probably my favorite take on their story, its a really interesting portrayal of them and their fallout.

Anyways thats the end of my yap, honorable mentions to the music, it helped the immersion of the movie, and its really good.

Do note that Ive only seen it once, i might've gotten some stuff wrong but ill be looking to watch it again somehow in the future. My review may be subject to change but yeah.

Scarlett is an extremely talented woman. She is already a gifted martial artist...thanks largely to her three brothers and their father, all four of whom are instructors. Shana began training at age 9 and earned her first black belt six years later. She eventually enlisted in the Army, served in Vietnam, and underwent all sorts of special training (Ranger School, CoveOps at Langley, Marine Sniping at Quantico, SASR exchange, ROK Marine Tae Kwan Do symposium), finally settling on intelligence work. She stands as the only member of the Joe Team who has duties that are kept confidential from the rest of the team. Despite all her deadly skills and serious work, she still manages to have a sense of humor.

For the people who dont understand, or think the people panicking about the casting are overreacting.

Maybe I remind tall that proper East Asian representation in the show is already a mess.

East Asian background art and music but next to no traditions and customs

Western style dragons

Dragons as pets instead of literal gods (referring to the original set. I havent seen DR)

Character names, especially Lloyd who contextually should be Asian but is extremely white-coded. (Literally Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon)

Misunderstanding the Art of the Samurai and just making them girls with

mechs

Master Chen is (to some) a racist caricature

Calling things Kimono's when they're literally not. (S2 final battle suits)

Overall just not understanding what a ninja is

A many more things that are just....off

Now we let all these things slide for the most part because that's just how the show was written, and many of us were like 12 when it came out, so cultural representation didn't matter. And we all love this goofy little show.

Now think about other live actions that get things so wrong it takes you out of the story. I haven't read the school for good and evil but my sister loves it and when the movie came out and her faves looked nothing like their book descriptions it broke her heart.

Think about the first Avatar: the last airbender movie that cast a white girl as Katara. When the culture is based on the inuit people.

Percy Jackson: I love Leah Jeffries she's so fun to watch on screen, but she should be blonde. It has contextual and symbolic meaning in the book. And removing it for the sake of casting is...a choice (when my girl could literally get blonde weave from her locak beuty shop)

Jake Gylenhall as Prince Dastan in "Prince of Persia"

Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily in "Pan"

Scarlett Johanson in "Ghost in the Shell"

Johnny Depp in "The Lone Ranger"

And so many more that yall can probably pull off the top of your head.

These things can be fixed like the Netflix ATLA. But let's be honest, it's hard to trust that proper representation of the culture they'll be trying to adapt won't be railroaded by casting that doesn't fit or make any sense. Simply because Hollywood prioritizes casting star/popular actors instead of paying attention to what they are adapting. The cast may not be entirely white because is 2024 and an all white cast is extremely rare. But the fear of how badly it could fail or fall alaprt due to lazy casting choices is valid.

I'm gonna try and trust the Hagemans to do right by the characters. But like the first list above, they don't seem to understand the culture either.

My interpretation of the Pokemon Timeline

Quick few notes before I start this: I am aware that each pokemon game is it's own pocket universe, and timelines arent really important to the games, this is just for fun, side games like XD and Ranger won't be counted, remakes will take precidence over the origional versions, and if you have any evidence gainst this- please tell me! I'd love to have a discussion about this. Obviously the first game in the timeline is Legends Arceus, though the year is hard to tell- I'm gonna but it in it's own time period i'm calling "BE4" meaing "Before Elite 4" - so before the idea of catching and training pokemon became the norm for the pokemon world.

Then- the Kanto dilemma- is let's go cannon? Well the pokemon company swears let's go is mainline- the fact that the game starts with you isekai-ing into the TV is evidence enough for me that it's not real events- at best maybe it's a game in universe. Fire Red and Leaf Green's events can be dated however, the 96 on red's shirt in Ultra Sun and Moon and the constant references to "20 years ago" -fan service or not- show that FRLG take place in 1996.

Obviously, as stated many times in game, Heart Gold and Soul Silver take place 3 years after FRLG- not much confusion there at all. Briliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are also easy, as the game starts with talking about the Red Gyaradose incident in Johto. So, both these games would take place in 1999- in my opinion BDSP takes place maybe a month after HGSS.

The next one is a bit of a jump from what most expect- Black and White. I purely put this here because of Caitlin. Her hair is about 18 inches longer than it is in Platinum, taking into account how fast hair grows- that would put BW 4 years after BDSP in 2003. Then, obviously B2W2 happens 2 years after BW as stated in the story- putting it in 2005.

I put X and Y next, and I put it way ahead in 2013. There really isn't anything in XY that can help determine when it is- Dexio and Sina show up in USUM- so it can't be too far from those games. I just put it in it's release year. The most evidence I have for this is that they have portable holograms- a lot more advanced than the poketch's and X-Trancievers of the 2000's.

Next up I put ORAS in 2015 I'm sure a lot of you were shocked when I didn't put ORAS with FRLG like that one gamefreak guy said in his deleted twitter post- my reasoning? Wally is still a kid in the battle tree while Red and Blue are aged. Nothing really changes if ORAS is moved here, Steven is an adult when he cameos in HGSS, so it would make sense he hasnt visably aged 16 years later. At his oldest in ORAS he would be 32, well within the age range for a champion.

Then, one year later, USUM takes place in 2016. Obviously given the evidence i've used for many of the other placements this should explain itself, 20 years after FRLG.

Finally- Sword, Shield, Scarlett, and Violet... these games are almost impossible to place, but based on how far technology has come and some characters from BW having teenage children in the Blueberry academy- I'm just putting both these games in 2020- which would make the gym leader kids at around 17 depending on when they were born assumedly after BW's events.

- originally from district 23's backstreets before finding a opportunity near the outskirts for the newly discovered (at the time) flesh pit national park.

- A flesh pit park ranger for a LONG TIME; which means that he knows their way through the flesh pit like the back of his hand. When greeting guests he was always enthusiastic about helping them around the flesh pit (even sometimes tagging along on their tours with his trail guide co-workers)

- Personality wise, he's known to be really friendly and cheerful! A bit too excitable and rambles on and on at times. He's very positive and likes to think on the bright side most of the time. Even when things went horribly wrong, he still has this naïve hope within him? (but after the incident he's a bit more animalistic/wild)

- When the 2XXX[whatever year this takes place in i forgot LMAO] the catastrophic disaster happened, killing/injuring SO MANY GUESTS, he was apart of the unlucky few who got trapped in the flesh pit while trying to help guests escape safely; that is until he just wanted to help guests survive in the pit until rescue(it did not go so well... since they have been trapped in there for nearly a decade and they have lost the concept of time)

- I imagine the limbus branch that picks up and rescues this unfortunate sinner would have accidentally moved a bit too far from the mainland of the city and discovered the closed national park. Them going within the flesh pit to explore and go "wtf is this" and discover THIS MESS OF A GUY. They would've almost fought him if he didn't speak out first. Now knowing that this guy hasn't entirely...lost his mind??? they decide to rescue him! Unfortunately they couldn't explore deeper into the flesh pit at this time since there were more creatures/wildlife coming their way/about to corner them

- it could be a situation where he does have a soft spot for the wildlife...? kind of? Like definitely in his early years he would've been against killing/fighting the wildlife but over the years of trying to survive (AND ONE CRAWLING INSIDE HIM AND INFECTING/MUTATING HIM) his views have shifted a bit. Of course he still saw the beauty but now he just looks at the other creatures as food for survival.

- He gained some features from the Abyssal Copepod ( smaller than regular otherwise it would've literally killed him on the spot lol) that crawled and merged within him. So he does have two extra arms/hands, a two big antennas, and pincers thanks to this guy.

- they wouldn't be back to the flesh pit until his canto where there's a golden bough to be retrieved (do you know how COOL it would be for a lobotomy corporation branch to be within the flesh pit at the time)

- also has flesh from the flesh pit just.. growing on him now?? It's a part of him now, so it's just like...exposed flesh apart of him now and ate away at the skin under

To him, the change hurted at first but due to time he can't feel a thing now! (Or atleast the pain of just living is bearable now) Him and the copepod inside him are essentially the same person now. He can move his new limbs/features since he's taken main control of his body?? But every now and then the copepod will move on its own.

The more I talk about him, the more worse his existence sounds but I promise you he's ok/fine!!!

Hey guys, here is Gracie the Cosplay Lass who I have posted once before. Tumblr gave me fits at the time by claiming there was nudity and I lost the appeal. I think the Mystique cosplay gave the computers fits but it is important to always point out tumblr lies to us when it says humans review each post we challenge. After all, I don't post nudity and she has never appeared nude so… it seems unlikely. But blue skin probably gives the computers a challenging time. So we'll see what happens this time. I am posting her cause I really like how accurate her costumes are. No shade to sexy cosplayers, I think that stuff is often very artistic and takes a lot of work and creativity, it's just nice to get stuff that looks like it jumped right off the panel sometimes. Like, all the movie cosplay is fine but let's be honest, all the movie costumes are painfully dull compared to the real thing. Anyway, what really drove me here was that she did a Cheetara cosplay, Cheetara being one of the cartoon hot girls of my youth. Which seems strange and I can't say they were added for sex appeal but most shows when I was a kid had a hot girl and like… people my age all agree they were hot girls. Scarlett and the Baroness on GI Joe, Cheetara on Thundercats, Gadget on Rescue Rangers, April O'Niel on Ninja Turtles, Speed Buggy that time he turned into a girl on Speed Buggy, you know, all the universally agreed upon sex symbols of childhood. Anyway, Cheetara is not someone I see cosplayed very often which makes sense because Thundercats was B tier back then and I don't think has gotten more popular in the meantime. It's nice to see though. Today I want to fuck Gracie the Cosplay Lass.
