btw i feel like this shouldn't have to be said but the reason that agatha hates rio is because agatha didn't get to say goodbye to nicky. rio couldn't offer her any more time. and, in rio's mind, nicky going peacefully in his sleep (and even telling him to turn around and kiss agatha goodbye!!) is the one grace rio feels she can give agatha. nicky doesn't suffer. he doesn't fight. he just...goes. he goes on a walk with his mother and kisses his mama goodbye. but agatha doesn't get to say goodbye!!! she doesn't get those final moments with him!! she wakes up and he's already gone.

In just the past two years, our Conservation & Science team has worked with multiple organizations, including the Environmental Law Institute, the Minderoo-Monaco Commission on Plastics and Human Health, and the State of California, to bring awareness to the intersection of plastic pollution, human health, and ocean conservation.

Time Machines by Carol Cunningham

The TARDIS? A DeLorean? How about an excellent phone booth? Well, none of those machines are the subject of today's Miniature Monday post. No, this mini book is about clocks and other machines used to tell time!

Created in 1996, this gorgeous little book measures in at around 72 mm x 64 mm. The case that it resides in is a bit bigger at about 92 mm x 70 mm. It was written, designed, and printed letterpress on Shadowmould paper at Sunflower Press. The typeface is Tekton, and the University of Iowa owns copy 11/25!

There's also the very lovely banana for scale, and fret not my conservation-minded friends, the banana is plastic!
