YESSSS they were both the youngest of their siblings, babies of the family of you will, and they both recognize that in each other from the moment they interact for the first time.

I think they would have a similar relationship to nami and luffy (more younger sibling on younger sibling violence) but over time they mellow out a bit, and then start pulling shit on the other strawhats

Yeah! Sanji does still join the strawhats!

I think at that point in both of their lives Yonji spent a LOT of time in their youth protecting his older brother and Sanji has worked hard in order to not need that protection anymore (hens Yonji felt he was safe enough that he could leave home to learn)

Yonji does trust him when it comes to fighting, hes gotten his ass handed to him by both sanji and Zeff on a few different occasions; but there’s always this little voice in the back of his head that’s like you need to watch out for him, you need to protect him.

Smthn smthn its something that i think could cause an interesting conflict if yonji acted on it too often yk?
