Leosagi/Leochi in Musicals
I have noticed that some people are putting the Epic Musical associated with ROTTMNT (Mostly revolving around Leo). I just have to say, I havenât listened to the Epic Musical, but my God why hasnât anyone done Leosagi in other musicals đ. I havenât watched many musicals, but here are some suggestions (that no one will use đ).
Musicals That Can Fit Leosagi/Leochi
Hamilton - Historical Musical about Founding Father Alexander Hamilton
Iâve seen people using this in other fandoms. For this one itâs mostly Casey and Future Leo. But to include Usagi:
âHelplessâ - The roles technically donât matter, but Leo could be Eliza (because he has a lot of siblings and also is blue) and Usagi could be Alexander. Usagiâs friends could be Laf, Muligan, or Laurens. Very wholesome song! It could also be reversed with Leo as Alexander. His brothers would be Laf (Donnie), Mulligan (Mikey/Raph), Laurens (Mikey/Someone Else), or Aaron (Raph/Donnie) if this was the case.
âSatisfiedâ - For some Angst, Leo or Usagi wouldnât be Eliza đ (or if people ship Donsagi, idk the name, then this is a perfect song LOL)! Usagi could be Angelica and Leo Alexander or vise versa. (Context: Angelica and Eliza are siblings, Angelica is the oldest and likes Hamilton. However, she sees her sister Eliza likes Alex as well, so Angelica sets Eliza and Alex up and the two are getting married. Basically, a love triangle)
âCongratulationsâ or âFirst Burnâ / âBurnâ - This is just to cause more Angst and rub salt over the wound to match with âSatisfiedâ. âBurnâ is basically Eliza and Alexander breaking up because of âSay No To Thisâ when Alex has an affair.
âDear Theodosiaâ - Can be used for the headcanon of Jotaro as Leosagiâs kid & Aaron Burr as Cassandra which would make Theodosia as Casey Jr.Â
âBlow Us All Awayâ and âStay Alive (Reprise)â - Used as the above. Jotaro can be Phillip (Alex and Elizaâs son). Or maybe replace the son as Casey Jr. Either way, could be a fun idea.
In The Heights - Hispanic musical with people who have a dream and struggling with identity/poverty. (Idk how to describe it).
This musical can be use for those fans who like to headcanon the Hamato children knowing Spanish. There are 2 couples in this play (Benny and Nina | Vanessa and Usnavi) that could fit Leosagi and there is a musical and a movie (I prefer movie audio since it sounds newer than the musical since thatâs kinda old).
âThe Clubâ - Just for funsies. Leo/Usagi getting jealous that the other is gaining a lot of attention on the dance floor with other men (Imma assume Leo aka Vanessa is on the dance floor).
âBlackoutâ - Follows right after the previous song. Only part that would fit here is an audio most might have heard. The whole âYou barely even danced with meâ and then âDonât make me laugh, Iâve been trying all night, youâve been shaking your ass with half of the Heightsâ.
âWhen Youâre Homeâ - Could be wholesome with using Usagi as Benny (since thereâs no confirm race) and Leo as Nina (Afro-Latino and half Japanese moment? Black Hispanic and half Japanese?).
âSunriseâ - This is only in the musical version, but itâs so cute!! Takes place after âBlackoutâ where Nina and Benny found each other and stayed with each other. Nina teaches Benny some Spanish. âWell how do you say kiss me?â âBesumeâ âand how do you say hold me?â All of that. And also a moment where Benny is scared that Ninaâs dad is going to know that Nina is with him (Ninaâs dad disproves of Benny). Obviously, Leo is Nina and Benny is Usagi.
Bare: A Pop Opera - (TW: Self-harm also Drugs) Gay musical with two boys struggling in a Catholic Boarding School. They are secretly dating, but one wants the come out and the other doesnât because of his strict father (also he has a twin).
I really recommend this musical, it might be slow but it can get you in your feels. Btw, itâs a sad musical (Trigger warning). Honestly, any songs can fit because itâs literally a gay story. Also a theater Romeo and Juliet play they are doing. A play within a musical.
âYou And Iâ - Listening to the lyrics ummm, Leo fits almost TOO WELL with being Jason đ Jason is the one with a twin named Nadia (who believes she is fat and she harms herself). Their dad is rich and Jason is the favorite sibling. Anyways, Jason is Leo and Peter is Usagi. This song is an introduction to how they are together (always being in secret and having to pull away when people are around).
âPlain Jane Fat Assâ - Twin moment with Jason (Leo) and Nadia (Donnie). Angst or Hurt/Comfort with the two.
âBest Kept Secretâ - Self explanatory
âEver Afterâ - THIS SONG OMG. So Leo and Usagi are having a heated argument and itâs tense and pretty sad.
âWedding Bellsâ - Angst. Usagi imagines Leo with another person.
âSee Meâ - This is gonna have to change, so Peter is trying to come out to his mother, but she is clearly trying to ignore it. So This could be Leo being Peter and Splinter being the mom.
âGod Donât Make No Trashâ - Sister Chantelle (I didnât spell that right. Anyways this is definitely Mikey aka Dr. Feels) and Peter talking about sexuality (kinda).
I donât know who can be considered as âFatherâ. Maybe Draxum or Big Mama.
âBareâ - Hurt, no comfort between Peter and Jason.
Be More Chill - Awkward teens who are trying to be cool so they take a pill (From JAPAAAAAAN) and they are controlled kinda.
Main character, Jeremy, likes this quirky girl named Christine, so heâs trying to be cool to get with her. If you heard the audio (âIâm waiting for my porno to loadâ) then thatâs this musical. I did see multiple Donnie animations (and a Leo) with the song âMichael In The Bathroomâ. Yeah thatâs this musical. Maybe Christine (Usagi), Jeremy (Leo), and Michael (Donnie).
The Idea: I included this musical mainly because the whole idea if that teenagers are trying to be cool by taking a pill that (roughly, hard to explain) has a person in their head who âhelpsâ them be cool (in actuality, a douche or a player). With the headcanons of The Krang still in control of certain Turtles, I thought well maybe instead of inserting something like âMind Raphâ, just make the person in the head (aka a Squip) just the Krang đ (Same can be used for BeetleJuice The Musical)
âA Guy That Iâd Kinda Be Intoâ - Pretty cute song from Christine (Usagi).
âBe More Chill Pt. 1âłÂ - Basically when the Squip comes in. Like listen and imagine the Krang behind the voices trying to manipulate people đ
âThe Pitiful Childrenâ - Basically a âworld dominationâ song. So just Krangs.
Heathers - Basically the movie.
This potentially fits the 2003 Leosagi more, I have no idea. At least, if we make JD Miyamoto. TW: Murders, Explosives, E.D., Suicide, Drugs/Alcohols, and attempt S.A.
âBeautifulâ Or âCandy Storeâ - The roles (based on colors) are Chandler (Raph), Duke (Donnie), MacAmera (Didnât spell that right, Mikey), Kurt & Ram (The Foot Dudes? Bebop & Rocksteady), Martha (Todd? LOL), JD (Usagi).
âMeant To Be Yoursâ - Please, I need Psychopathic Usagi or Leo, Iâll take any đ
Heathers: The Musical (2022), another version of the musical with some altered lyrics and added songs with a bit new style of musical form. âI Will Never Shut Up Againâ - Wonderful song for Duke, would like to see an animation of Donnie (I like villain songs, lol).
âSeventeenâ - Wholesome song, hurt/comfort kinda, where Usagi and Leo are singing about having a life together (and not a life of being murderers).
I would add âDead Girl Walkingâ but this fandom seems to not do much NSFW stuff with this ship, so Iâll exclude that song along with âBlueâ as a suggestion.
#rottmnt#tmnt#tmnt leonardo#leo x yuichi#leochi#leoichi#Gay Leo#leo x usagi#leosagi#musicals#Idk if i should tag the musicals#I used both Yuchi and usagi because it could be interrperate both ways#if you think about it#heathers#bare a pop opera#serious listen to that musical#hamilton#miyamoto usagi#yuichi usagi#jotaro#be more chill#in the heights#suggestions or headcanons idk what to call this

Shooting this off real quick before I get back to schoolwork but itâs kinda fun to think of hypothetical scenarios where instead of Donnie, one of the other brothers ends up on Voyager. Donnie gets the Voyager treatment because to me it makes the most sense (i.e. I am constantly rotating him in my brain) but I still canât stop myself from going through the what-ifâs.
Raph is very interesting in this scenario because 1) if he starts out in the same place I put Donnie (i.e. random desert planet) then there is the chance that Voyager crew might find him while heâs Savage Raph and it would probably take a decent amount of convincing for him to come back to himself. But from there on you have Raph, a gentle giant getting used to life on a ship where probably for the first time in his life he feels a little too big. He would still find Voyager to be incredibly cool though, although more in the way that heâs a fan of Jupiter Jim and sci-fi than actually being super interested in the tech itself like Donnie is. I think Raph would probably idolize Janeway quite a bit in a way that, at first, might make it hard to form a genuine connection, but I think that as time goes on (and as perhaps the gravity of both his and Voyagerâs predicament dawns on him) heâll start to see and appreciate Janeway for who she really is. I also think Raph would make a somewhat unexpected connection with BâElanna. I feel like these two would click very well on an emotional level you know? I feel like they would just get each other, because they're both characters who struggle with processing their emotions and so everything just kinda gets filtered into anger/aggression. I also think that it would be interesting if they got to explore their feelings on being diaspora together? Because they're both characters who have been severely disconnected from their culture/heritage in some way (B'Elanna with her rejection of everything Klingon in the face of her father's abandonment. And Raph with having his Hamato heritage kept from him by his father) and I always felt like B'Elanna never really got super healthy or satisfying way to explore the Klingon side of herself in the show so maybe getting to talk it through with someone who has literally no preconceived notions about her heritage, and Raph getting to talk through his probably very complicated feelings about the things his father hid from him could be something interesting for them to do together.
Then there's Leo (don't look out the window. don't look out the window. it's fine it's fine. you're in space and it's cool. you're not there.) He would definitely find Voyager to be very impressive, and I think very much like Raph he would idolize Janeway when he first meets her, though I think he would break out of that idolization a lot faster than Raph, and especially once he actually hears the story of how Voyager got stranded in the Delta quadrant. It would be incredibly conflicting for him to say the least, I think, to find out that there's something about Janeway that so closely mirrors probably the one thing he's most ashamed of. At least it would to his mind, and Janeway certainly has a guilt complex about the likes of which are usually given to Leo in most fanfics, but I still think he would see her as the kind of leader he would want to be, and he'd probably not so subtly try to probe her for advice, which I think would eventually lead them down the rabbit whole a very meaningful conversation about the choices/mistakes they've made. It would be really cathartic for them both. In the same vein of unexpected friendships/some misplaced idolization, I just know that Leo would be following Tom around like a duckling. A starship pilot who's funny, likes corny sci-fi and cartoons, and is the ship's secondary medic? It's like this guy was made for Leo to like him. Tom has the sort of "rebel without a cause" flair that Leo wishes he had. But at the same time Tom is sort of... rudderless? Before he and B'Elanna get married (and even a little bit after but less so) Tom struggles a lot with who he is vs. what his duties on Voyager need him to be (and if you know Tom's full backstory you know why this is). And now there's this kid around who just thinks he is like the coolest guy ever. And either Tom is gonna get the most annoying ego boost out of it or he's gonna think about this persona he's been projecting for the past 4.5 years for more than .02 seconds for once and have a whole ass identity crisis about it (and then Leo gets to have an identity crisis about it cuz, "wait? carefree attitude fake? he cares about everything so much all the goddamn time? oh no not again I have recognized myself in the other FUCK).
Mikey is straight chillin. (I'm sorry even in meta theory Mikey is hard for me to write I'm trying I swear T-T) Okay well, actually now that I've thought about it for a minute I realize that he probably super wouldn't be, because unlike with the rest of the boys, who kind of are surrendered to the fact that they have to wait for Voyager to find a scientific way to get them home, Mikey would probably feel a lot of (self imposed) pressure to get himself home and probably get continually frustrated the longer he can't do it on his own. It'd probably be straight up enraging for him if it got to a point where the Doctor medically forbids Mikey from attempting to make himself a portal home because he keeps injuring himself in the process. But still, ever the eternal optimist he'll still find ways to enjoy his time on Voyager even if he is frustrated about his circumstances. You just know that he's always down in the kitchen with Neelix cooking up alien recipes and loving it (and not for nothing, the crew does appreciate having someone who can accurately remake recipes from earth). I honestly think Neelix and Mikey would get along super well, and have a sort of laid back mentor & mentee relationship. I think more than anything Mikey would really enjoy the exploration aspect of Voyager, both for "whoa cool alien planets" but also I think it really gels with his own belief in finding the good in everything. Voyager is in a tough situation but the crew isn't giving up who they are in the process of getting home, and I think that's something Mikey would really admire.
hmm okay that's all I can think of on this right now.

Turtles Forever Part 68
Mission Of Gravity
A helicopter flew into a base. Hun, Stockman, Karai, and Saki stepped out of the copter and Dr. Chaplin walked over to them.
"Dr. Chaplin," Saki spoke. "I trust what you have to show me will justify the excursion from the city?"
"Believe me, Master," Chaplin answered. "You're gonna to dig it big time." They entered the base, walking inside of it. Inside, was a giant blimp.
"You brought us all the way out here for a blimp? What pea-brained half-wit authorized this project?" Stockman asked, in disbelief.
"I did," Saki answered, narrowing his eyes. Stockman turns to him, nervously.
"Oh! Well, I'm sure you have your reasons, oh wise and revered master," he replied.
"Indeed," Saki answered. He turned to Chaplin. "Excellent work, Dr. Chaplin."
"I installed that Triceraton force field override mechanism that you recovered, just as you requested, sir," Dr. Chaplin said as they began to walk. "This baby will breach the atmospheric shield around Beijing and retrieve desired cargo, no problem!"Â
"And just what does this boy genius thinks he's retrieving?" Stockman questioned.
"A Triceraton anti-gravity generator," Saki answered, smirking.
"But Master," Stockman pointed out. "removing an antigrav generator from a city floating 20 miles above the Earth's surface is a virtual suicide mission!"
"Yes, that is why I have selected you for this operation," Saki answered.
"Me?" Stockman answered, nervously. Karai walked up to her father.
"But, master, what if the millions of innocents that will perish when Beijing comes crashing to Earth?" She questioned, wondering.
"They are of no concern to me," he said her.
"How dare you question the master?" Hun scolded Karai. "I am behind this plan 100 percent."
"Good,"Â Sami replied. "You will have the honor of accompanying Dr. Stockman on this extremely dangerous mission."
Hun's mouth dropped in shock. Karai stared at the group, silence. She was internally debating herself on what to do. If she let her father's plan proceed, innocents will suffer. But, she couldn't go against her father's wishes. However, maybe there was several people who can...
The three brothers and four girls follow Raph as they jumped across the rooftops. Through the night vision goggles, that they were wearing, everyone saw some Foot collecting more alien tech.
"Here it is, just like told ya," Raph said. "another one of the Shredder's alien tech garbage picking goon squad."
"I wonder what he's collecting all this stuff for," Donnie murmured.
"Intergalactic hard sale?"Mikey joked. Raph smacked him on the back of the head with his hand. "Ow!"
Leo looked again with his night vision goggles. "Hm, no police security around this time around. Just be something really important buried down there if the Shredder doesn't want the authorities to knowing about it."
Suddenly, Donnie's shell cell ringed again. He answered it using his headset. "Hello?" Donnie groaned as he only heard static again.
"Oh, not that stupid fax call again," Raph groaned.
"Only this time, I came prepared with my palmtop to trace the signal," Donnie explained, pulling out his palmtop. As he did, a download message appeared on the screen. "Download in progress?" He asked, confused. "Impossible."
"Don, figure it out later," Leo told him. "we've got something much bigger moved here." Everyone looked and saw a giant Triceraton ship being lifted under the bridge.
"Whoa, a Triceraton supply ship?" Donnie asked.
"Let's take a closer look." Leo said.
Hun and Stockman were standing in the blimp's control room, complaining.
"All of our loyal service and this is the thanks we get?" Hun spats. "Pushed aside by the new blood."
"Perhaps, it's time we started pushing back," Stockman suggested. The two looked at the double doors as Chaplin came in.
"Hey, I just wanted to say, no matter how bad the Shredder treats you, I'm still honored to be working with the legendary Baxter Stockman...even if you are a freakish brain in a jar of your former self," He praised. Stockman frowned. "The truth is, I can't seeing someone I admired reduced to such a pathetic existence. So I've decided to put an end to your suffering," Chaplin begins to inch towards Stockman, who backs away in shock. Chaplin picks up Stockman's jar.
"Wait, what are you-no! W-What are you doing?!" He pressed on button and the hologram shuts off. Hun watched as Chaplin took Stockman away.
Everyone hid behind a tractor, looking around for scouts or any Foot ninjas. But, they saw that there weren't any around.
"Hey, no foot goons," Mikey pointed out.
"Where did they all go?" Donnie asked.
"I don't like it," Leo said. "Keep your eyes open."
They stopped in front of a ship. "You think they're in the ship?" Raph questioned.
"Only one way to find out," Leo said as they all walked in. They were carrying flashlights to help see.
"Nothing in here of any value to the Shredder," Donnie replied. Suddenly, the doors closed behind them. Everyone ran to the doors and started pounding on it, except Mikey.
"Nothing except us turtles and girls!" he exclaimed, nervously.
 They tried to get the door to open, but it was closed shut. Then the lights suddenly turned on, a dark figure emerged from the shadows.
"Karai?" Leo questioned, taking off his goggles.
"We need to talk," She tells them.
"Talk to the sais, cause the ears ain't listening," Raph retorted, pulling out his sais.
"Raph, wait," Leo stops him. "Let's hear her out. She helped us last time remember?"
"And she tried to kill you the time before that, remember?" Yuuki reminded Leo.
"I apologize for the elaborate set up, but I knew of no other way to contact you," Karai explained. "I need your help."
Back on the blimp, Chaplin was still carrying Stockman as he walked up to a large robot body that was standing next to the elevator. Hun crossed his arms as he watched Chaplin took Stockman's brain from the jar, placing it into the robot. The hologram of Stockman turns back on.
 "Release me at once, you-!" He paused, looking at his new body. "What the?"
"What do you think of your new bod?" Chaplin asked.
"I have limbs," Stockman laughed. "powerful limbs!"
"I figure you'll need them to survive the big mission," Chaplin said, proudly.
"Ah, yes, the mission," Stockman turned to the young scientist. "Pity that you'll be miss out on the maiden voyage of this incredible vessel of this ship that you designed and built with your own two hands. Not to mention witness firsthand as an entire city crashes down from the stratosphere!" He slammed his hands on the panel.
"Man, that'd be so cool," Chaplin said in awe.
"Yes," Stockman smirked, evilly. "Of course, you could decide to go behind the Shredder's back and join us, but that would be wrong, wouldn't it?"
"Hey,...what the boss doesn't know won't hurt him, right?" The young scientist asked, hesitantly. Hun rubs his chin in thought.
"True, and naturally, I would assume full responsibility for your well-being throughout the entire mission. After all, we wouldn't want you to call victim to some...unfortunate accident." Stockman said to him.
"And so if they remove the antigrav generator, they will be sending millions to their doom. I need you to prevent this from happening," Karai said as she finished explaining.
"So does this finally mean that you come to your senses and turn your back on the Shredder?" Leo questioned.
"I am duty-bound to serve the Shredder, as always," Karai told him. "IÂ just...do not wish to see millions suffer."
"Even if we agree to help you, what's to stop the Shredder from coming back for the antigrav generator the next time? It's not we can shut it down," Donnie pointed out.
"Actually, I might be able to provide some assistance regarding that particular technical conundrum," a familiar voice answered, from Donnie's bag.
"Whoa, am I hear things?" Mikey said. "That sounded like Professor Honeycutt!"
Donnie opened his bag and pulled out his palmtop, revealing the professor on the screen. "Hello?"
"It IS Professor Honeycutt!" Donnie exclaimed as everyone leaned in.
"Professor, you're alive! No way!" Raph exclaimed in shock.
"It can't be," Leo shook his head in surprise. "We saw you sacrifice yourself." He took the palmtop. "You saved the world."
"Oh dear, I'm a afraid I don't remember that," the Fugitoid replied. "Thing last thing I was that I was on the rooftop with Donatello, broadcast a signal to make me invisible to the Triceratons. What I didn't tell you was that I also uploaded a back-up of my memory code into the satellite communications network, set to contact you in the event of my destruction. Which I'm assuming must have happened."
"So you were the one making those calls to my shell cell," Donnie concluded. "And the download, that was you sending your memory core into my palmtop."Â
"Well, most of it," the Fugitoid answered. "your hard drive was lacking capacity, so I had to forego some non-essential information."
Mikey the palmtop from Donnie's hand. "Who cares, professor? I'm just so happy to see you!"
"I'm sorry, do I know you?" the Fugitoid questioned, confused.
"Michelangelo," the palmtop beeps. "Mikey," the orange masked turtle received no response. "The Mikester," He still received no response. "Wait, so I'm non-essential information?"
"Anyway, I couldn't help overhearing you dilemma, Miss?" Mikey turned the professor to Karai.
"Karai," she bowed to him.
"With my knowledge of Triceraton technology, I should be able to assume control of the antigrav generator gently lowering the city of Beijing back to Earth," the Fugitoid explained. "In theory."
"Saving millions of lives in the process!" Leo exclaimed, taking the palmtop from Mikey. "That's brilliant, professor!"
"So are we to assume we have a deal?" Karai pondered.
"Deal," Leo answered. "Okay, now how do we get into Beijing?"
"Leave that to me."
As everyone began to leave, Yuuki turned back, looking at Karai. Leo noticed.
"You coming?" He asked.
"I will in a minute," Yuuki answered. "I need to have a little chat with our companion."Leo stared for a moment then followed after his brothers. Yuuki approached Karai as she was making a phone call.
"You got a minute?" She asked. Karai glanced over at her then hanged up.Â
"Yes, sure. What is it?" Karai asked.
"I just wanted to say one thing: If you put one foot out of line, do anything, and I mean anything, to hurt Leo or my family then you will have to answer to me," Yuuki threatened as she glared darkly. "It will be the last mistake that you will ever make, permanently." Karai stared at her in shock as she stepped back.Â
Yuuki silently walked away leaving the stunned woman in standing where she was.
The blimp was preparing to leave as cargo was being carried inside by a forklift. Karai stopped the driver as she instructed them to lower a large crate.
"What's in the crate, Karai?" Hun asked, curious. "And why are you suddenly joining this mission?"
 "That is none of your concern," Karai told him. Hun growled as she walked away.
Chaplin and Stockman watched as several strange machines was being loaded onto the blimp. "What exactly is all of this?" Stockman demanded.
"Uh, uh, uh, that'd spoil the surprise," Chaplin answered, placing his hands on one of the strange cargo. The sun was starting to rise as the blimp took off.
"Hey, attention all hands, welcome to China," Chaplin announced on the speaker. "The floating city of Beijing is dead ahead. Pretty cool, huh?"
Karai sneaked quietly to the Cargo Bay, looking around until she saw the same box that she was keeping a close eye on. She tapped on it. "Stand by, we are approaching Beijing," she whispered. The four brothers and girls were inside, with hang gliders strapped to their backs.
"About time," Mikey said. "I really gotta go to the little turtle's room."
As the blimp advanced closer towards Beijing, Chaplin was steering it towards the sheild. "Activating force field override," He pressed a button and the blimp went right through the shield. Back in the Cargo Back, Hun had stalked Karai, realizing that she was up to something and saw her next to the box, talking to it.
"I knew you were up to something," He backs away and pressed a button on the wall with his elbow. "Oops. Happy landing, Karai." The floor suddenly opens underneath of Karai, along with the box, falling towards Beijing.
"I knew we shouldn't have trusted Karai!" Raph shouted.
"We can argue later!" Leo said. "Everybody brace!" Leo kicked the crate open and everyone fell out. They pulled the lever on their hang gliders opening them. Donnie looks down and saw that Leo hadn't opened his glider yet.
"Leo!" Donnie called out. "What are you waiting for? Deploy!"
Leo catches Karai before she hit the ground. "Gotcha!" He opens his glider right before the two was about to hit the top of a building.
"We made it," Leo said in relief.
"Of course," Karai replied. "Now land, Leonardo. We have much work to do."
"Just about to touch Tiananmen Square," Chaplin reported. "Where's Karai?"
"She got bumped from the mission," Hun explained as he walked into the control room. "apparently, she had a little falling out with the organization."
An old man was driving a bike, that was attached to a wagon. He runs away as he sees Leo, along with the others as they land behind him.
"Hey, what was with the instant skydiving lesson?" Mikey demanded.
"It was an unforeseen event," Karai said, flipping her hair. "But, I have my suspicion as to who is responsible."
"You know what your problem is, lady?" Raph growled. "You can't decided whether you want to help us or kill us. Make up your mind already!" He pulls out his sais.
"Ditto!" Yuuki agreed, pulling out her fan. Leo stops them.
"Not now, guys. We're miles off target and we need to get to Tiananmen Square!" He tells them.
"Hey guys," Donnie called out, climbing into the wagon. "How about this? Low tech, but effective."
"Hop on, Karai," Leo suggested, only to find that she had vanished. "Karai?"
In Tiananmen square, there were Beijing soldiers guarding the antigrav generator. They spotted the blimp above them.Â
"Great, nobody warned us we'd be having an welcoming committee to contend with," Stockman commented.
"No sweat, doc," Chaplin said. "Time to unleash my surprise." He pressed a button and the strange cargo began to fall into the city of Beijing. The troops ran away as the strange contraptions began to open up revealing to be mousers, only bigger and more upgraded.
"Mousers version 2.0," Chaplin explained. One of the guards fired a laser, however, the mouser was not affected by it. "I took your basic concept and gave them a little upgrade. Cool, huh?"
Stockman scoffed. "Upgrade? More like a side grade,"
One of the mousers destroyed a search light. Another guard gasped and ran away as another search light was destroyed. Eventually, the mousers overran the guards sending them running. The robots chewed through the fence and the blimp stopped right above the generator. The crane locks on, with Chaplin on it. He jumps down and climbed down the ladder.
Mikey wheezed as he peddled the bike. "Integra...generator dead ahead,"
"Ready to work your magic, professor?" Donnie asked from his palmtop. Stockman sees the group from the blimp.
"What! How on Earth did those meddlesome freaks get here?!" he demanded.
"I got this one, Doctor Stockman," Chaplin offered. He turns on the voice control. "Mousers, attack!"
"Funny, Karai never mentioned anything about overgrown mousers!" Mikey exclaimed. Everyone jumped down from the wagon, bracing themselves.
"Nothing fancy, guys," Leo called out. "Just clear a path for Don and the professor!"
Leo jumps up, landing on a mouser's head before cutting it off. Donnie leaps and smacks a mouser with his staff. The mousers soon began to surround everyone. Chaplin looks down at them from above and starts to head back to the control panel. "Commencing shut down sequence. Get ready to haul me up when this baby rips free from the pavement."
Donnie jumps onto a mouser and managed to leap towards the generator. Chaplin chuckles at him. "You're too late, green guy," The generator starts to shake, to his surprise, then a blue light begins to emit from it.
"What the shell?!" Raph asked.
"That's not supposed to happen!" Chaplin panicked. The city was dropping at an fast rate, plummeting towards the Earth. Everyone screamed as they were lifted up, as well as the citizens, due to the gravity. The blimp shakes as Chaplin managed to get to the rope.
"Pull me up. We're gonna have to ditch it!"
"Oh, that's not all we're going to ditch, my boy," Stockman answered. He released the rope from the blimp and Chaplin fell back onto the tower. Stockman took the blimp, driving it away from the city. Everyone tried to steady themselves, with difficulty.
"Way too much free fall for one day," Mikey commented. Donnie hanged onto the generator opening his bag.
"Showtime, professor," the palmtop drifted up towards him. Donnie catches it and aims the palmtop at the control panel.
"Now, carefully regulated circuitry of the gravity flux capacitor should gradually decrease the decent at a rate of 12.6 phraxos per trigon," the city begins to float safely down and everybody lands on the ground.
"Yes!" Mikey cheered as he kisses the ground. "Back on solid ground."
"Unfortunately, so are they!" Raph exclaimed, pointing at the mousers as they land. Everyone began to fight with them as Chaplin lands safely in front of the tower.
"I'm alive!" he cheered. "I'm alive!" A mouser hits him on the back of the head and he falls to the ground, unconscious, groaning.
"How are we holding up?" Donnie asked.
"I'm afraid I'll have to divert power from the atmospheric shield," the Fugitoid explained. "Although, the wind resistance may work in our favor."
The wind starts to pick up as the turtles and girls fight the mousers. "As if we don't have enough problems," Leo groaned, as the mousers started to advance towards them. Suddenly, Karai flips, landing in front of them, fighting off two mousers.
"About time you showed up," Raph commented.
"I could not afford to be seen coming to your aid earlier," Karai started as she kicked a mouser. "If the Shredder were to find out..."
"Enough talk!" Leo shouted. "Let's do it!"
He jumps up and faced against to mousers. Mikey jumps up and climbs on one. "Yeeha!" he shouted. "Get along, little mousers!" he uses his nunchucks to steer the robot. A mouser was climbing up towards Donnie. He turns around getting ready to attack, but, Venus jumps up onto the generator and kicks the mouser off.Â
"Hurry up!" She called out. Donnie turned back to the control panel.Â
"The city's almost back on Terra firma," he said. Mikey looses control of the mouser he was riding and it throws him off into the fence. Two mousers began to advance towards him. Alopex notices and jumps in between them trying to fend the robots off, struggling. Two mousers, Leo was fighting against, slammed into him with their heads, knocking him to the ground. Raph tackles one and another robot grabs him and throws Raph to the ground. Mona and Yuuki both get knocked down as the robots pinned them down. Karai gets tackled by one as it pinned her to the ground.
"I hope you know what you're doing, professor!" Donnie exclaimed. The antigrav generator turns back on, frying the mousers. The city of Beijing began to slowly drift back down into place.
"That electromagnetic pulse should have burned out this device, while simultaneously nullifying those awful metal ruffians," the Fugitoid explained. Leo looked around, seeing the destroyed mousers.
"Then it is over," Karai said, starting to leave.
"Not until you walk away from the Shredder, Karai," Leo called out.
"You know I cannot do that," she told him. Leo places a hand on her shoulder turning her around.
"This is the perfect opportunity. They think you are dead. You can disappear. We can help you start a new life," Leo explained. Karai looks away, pondering for a minute before looking back at Leo.
"Could you so easily turn your back on your father?" she responded. "Even if you knew the things he did were wrong?" Leo frowned, looking at his brothers. Donnie had a strange look on his face, like something was bothering him.
"Is something wrong?" Venus asked.
"What are you looking at?" Raph questioned.
"Isn't the Forbidden City supposed to be north of here?" Donnie asked.
"And isn't the sun supposed to rise in the East?" Mikey pondered, as the sun began to rise on the left of the generator.
"Oh dear," the Fugitoid said. "Did I set the city down facing in the wrong direction?"
In the Shredder's lair, Hun and Stockman were walking onto the base then into the elevator, heading towards the lab.
"The master will be disappointed that we came back empty handed," Hun pointed.
"Not to mention, the unfortunate demise of Karai and young doctor Chaplin," Stockman answered as the doors open, entering the room. "We'll blame it all on them, just follow my lead." They stop in front of Saki, who was looking at them, with a dark look in his eyes.
"Master, we have unfortunate news," Stockman started. "Karai and Doctor Chaplin are-"
"Wait," Saki interrupted, walking over to a control panel. Hun and Stockman, looked in confusion. "Perhaps, you would like to share your news," He turns on the video cam, revealing Karai and Chaplin on the other end. "with Karai and Dr. Chaplin."
"Hi, Dr. Stockman!" Chaplin greeted. "Everything's okay, we made it!"
The two hesitantly glanced over at Saki, who crosses his arms, narrowing his eyes at them.
"B-B-But, sir, we can explain-" Stockman protested, nervously as the two backed away. Saki began to advance slowly towards them.
"Noo!" the two shouted as their screams echoed throughout the city.

I was totally going to post about what makes Raizo awesome, answer a question and fill a request but then my phone got destroyed. While I spend the next day or so fixing that. Here. Enjoy this....
@dragonprincess18Â replied:
Poor guys, their dreams were crushed...And it was a simple dream. They just wanted mystical shadow assassins to be real. ...And now I'm imagining a crossover between One Piece and Ninja Turtles.
@gildedmuse replied:
Which one does Luffy inevitably ask to join his crew? Cause I feel like the easy answer: Michelangelo. But actually I think it would be Master Splinter.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
I can see Luffy and Law fighting to get all five on their crew, and being forced to settle on shared custody. đ
@gildedmuse replied:
I asked my brother and his expert opinion was, "I donât know, you're probably right. But Donatello and Franky be bros."
Also, we agreed that Raphael is just an angry Zoro. Which I was like, "You don't think Luffy would ask Law to join his crew?"Â
His reply, "Well, he hasn't asked yet. Probably jealous of all that sweet time Law got with Zoro on the way to Wano."Â
I HAVE TRAINED THIS BOY SO WELL PEOPLE
@dragonprincess18 replied:
Clearly! đ I think Donny would get along well with Law, too, as would Leo, while Raph and Mikey would prefer Luffy if only because he gets into the craziest adventures.
And Master Splinter would just want to listen to his shows.
@gildedmuse replied:
Leo: We need a plan.Â
Luffy: Good point, Lion Turtle!Â
Law: THAT IS LITERALLY WHAT I HAVE BEEN SAYING THE ENTIRE FUCKING TIME!?Â
Luffy: Huh. I guess never heard you before because you're not a giant turtle ninja guy.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
Oh my god, that's exactly what would happen! 𤣠And Zoro teaming up with Raph to pick on Sanji, while Donny joins up with Usopp and Franky to build some crazy stuff while Mikey rolls around the deck with Chopper like a dork.
@gildedmuse replied:Â
Raphael's and Zoro's Sole Interaction:Â
Raphael: *Nods to Zoro* Nice swords.Â
Zoro: *Nod returned* Nice Sais.Â
Small But Morally In The Right Group Of Fans: Oh, well, I would ship the FUCK out of these two.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
That sounds about right!
Poor Master Splinter, I think he'd hide on the Polar Tang for some peace and quiet...
@gildedmuse replied:
Leo suggests all the most Law like shit only Luffy actually acknowledges him and takes it into consideration because heâs a goddamn ninja turtle. Law spends the entire time just over Leo's shoulder in various states of sullenness, outrage and indignation. This is exactly the advice he gave yesterday and Strawhat-ya straight up ignored.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
I figure he'd just take advantage of it and work with Leo to get things back on track after a while, still muttering under his breath about how Luffy never listens to him.
@gildedmuse replied:Â
For some reason all I see now is Law being like, "Alright, I'm agreeing to leave Leo here because God knows someone should reign in the Strawhat. But goddamnit, Raphael comes with me. You only get one!" 4
Luffy: Okay if we also keep the rat monster!Â
Nami: No, Luffy, that doesn't make sense. There are 4 turtles and 2 of you!Â
Luffy: Oh, yeah, thank God we have this navigator-
Bepo: That is not what navigation is!Â
Luffy: What do you mean we only get one?
Law: -pointing between Zoro and Raphael- You. Only. Get. One.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
I can definitely see Luffy just assuming everything Nami does as a 'navigator' thing. And Law trying to barter for Donny so he doesn't get stuck with Mikey. đ
Oh my gosh, YES. đ¤Ł
@gildedmuse replied:
You know Zoro tries to just stare down his captain as Luffy looks between the two like he isn't secretly nervous. Like... He believes in Luffy and their connection but also.... It's a goddamn ninja that's also a turtle and has goddamn awesome sai. So... You know, could go either way. He understands. It's a fucking ninja turtle.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
I would definitely be torn! And there's Sanji, egging Luffy on to keep the turtle. đ
@gildedmuse replied:
Sanji: come on he's exactly like Zoro only useful!Â
Zoro: Oi!Â
Sanji: What? At least if we're stuck out at sea we can make turtle soup out of him.Â
Chopper: Using food to guide Luffy's logic isn't fair! (Turtle soup does sound yummy though)
And Zoro just standing there like come on, Chopper, you too?
@dragonprincess18 replied:
And Mikey asking to go on the Tang because he doesn't want to be made into soup, while Raph grabs him by the mask like, I'm not getting stuck with you!
@gildedmuse replied:
I love that both Raph and Zoro are like well, you know what? I've accepted my date of being forced to go with Law. That is some good sidekick vision. They know who the fucking protagonist is!
Actually, phone, I meant fate but fuck it. I'm sticking with date.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
Raph hates it, but he's a natural second-in-command. And he also doesn't want to be stuck with Leo. đ
There are no accidents.
@gildedmuse replied:Â
Raphael: Well, I'm choosing Law.Â
Zoro: -At the same time- We'd obviously both like to stay with our actual Captains so-Â
Zoro:...Â
Zoro: Wait did you just pick Law?Â
Zoro: -Eyeing Leo-Â
Zoro: Yeah... I'm gonna go ahead and go with Law as well then.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
And Luffy goes all anaconda on them, like NO! Law only gets one! Zoro's mine!
@gildedmuse replied:
On the sidelines Nami, Chopper and Usopp who do not want to be left without a super strong swordsman are just like WHAT!?Â
Zoro can't explain. There's just something about some other dude with blades that he would definitely fight To The Death that he inherently trusts.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
And Sanji is trying to convince him to let Zoro go while Leo just tries to massage away a headache, and Donny raises a hand, like "I...also want to go with Law now."
Though I could also see Zoro taking Leo as a sparring partner.
And Usopp bartering for Donny, while Brooke quietly hides Master Splinter behind him.
@gildedmuse replied:
But that would be like Zoro taking Law as a sparing partner. Like I see it... I get where you're coming from. But there is sparing partners vs people you want to be on a crew with. Said with all the love in her heart. (Also, let's face it, it's Zoro. He can argue about it but whoever Luffy says they're taking... Those are now the people he would die for.)
@dragonprincess18 replied:
True...Zoro would do pretty much anything for Luffy. Except be nice to Sanji. There are lines.
@gildedmuse replied:
Also, for the record, Bepo considers them all minks and try to treat them as such and the turtles just like, "Well, no bro." And Bepo continuously shocked by this. Continuously.
I mean there are lines than there are fucking impassable mountains forever separating two spots.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
Yeah, Bepo would be so confused.Â
Exactly, there are some things that can't be done.
@gildedmuse replied:
Luffy: Zoro, I need you to die for this crew
Zoro: I have already accepted this sacrifice and moved to make it so. Just as long as you become pirate king and my crew lives.
Luffy: Zoro, legitimately the only way the crew will survive is if you are nice to Sanji for like an hour... At most.
Zoro: Well, Captain, you and the crew can go fuck yourselves cuz that ain't happening.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
Yup. That's a canon conversation they've had in their minds. No need to voice it, Luffy knows. It's hard enough when Zoro has to work with Sanji for two straight minutes!
In comparison, Leo and Raph are best friends!
@gildedmuse replied:
For the record, if you were writing some weird NT/OP fanfic that was also ZoLaw friendly that is right there how you would get Zoro on the Polar Tang.Â
Law: Actually, we'd have to take the turtle bladesman. Obviously yours is too invested in staying here with you... And black leg-ya who will also be on this ship.Â
Zoro: FUCK IT, HAVE THE TURTLE IâM GOING WITH NOTSA... WITH LAW.
Law: -I got your swordman. Whatcha gonna do Strawhat? But nonverbal cuz Law-
I mean yeah because Raphael clearly a second. I know this because I have an unfortunate love of seconds. Like just love a main character or at least the fucking leader goddamnit. But still... You always love your captain, even if he has a stick up his ass.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
And Luffy pouting, but letting Zoro go... Because he plans on never letting Law leave, either. đ Neighbors!
 It's an unfortunate truth. Especially when you're the second-oldest.
@gildedmuse replied:
Oh well you've broken me. That's too cute. Just Luffy pouting like fine... But NAMI NEVER LET THAT SHIP OUT OF YOUR SIGHT!Â
Zoro just like "I'm an adult and also.... Two years."
Luffy: I will never. Let you. Leave me.Â
Zoro: I am in no way trying to.Â
Luffy: -Dark eyes of Determination- Never.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
And Law standing there like, I'm never getting away from this, this is my life now, what did I do to deserve this? While the turtles are mostly relieved they're all staying together.
@gildedmuse replied:
Law: -Despair-Â
Bepo: There there captain. At least you got a Swordsman now.Â
Law: I AM A SWORDSMAN! Leo-ya is a swordsman! Why does no one think of us!?Â
Penguin: Well no one actually forgot about Leo, we just accepted him as staying with the Strawhats so....Â
Meanwhile, Across The Ship
Zoro: Alright, so Kid and Drake are out. Why not the Bonney Pirates?Â
Nami: Again,not physically here.Â
Chopper: AND WHY DO YOU WANT TO ABANDONED US!?
Law: -DESPAIR-
The only argument regarding Law being all, "You know what? Fine take him back" is regarding if it's Zoro's destructiveness or Luffy's stubbornness that drives him to the edge.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
Zoro: It's me or the shitty cook.Â
Sanji: I'm not going anywhere, mosshead!Â
Zoro: See?Â
Chopper and Usopp: đ
Or both. Both is possible. And Luffy will still follow him everywhere because "We're allies, Torao! That means we're friends, and friends don't run from friends!" "THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS!"
@gildedmuse replied:
Law: GET OUT!Â
Nami: Now would you say it was Zoro or Luffy's behavior that finally broke you?Â
Law: Excuse me?Â
Nami: Look, there is actual money on the line here, Law, so I will not hesitate to kill you.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
Law: ...Luffy.Â
Nami: I knew it! Pay up!Â
Usopp: Aw man, I swore it'd be Zoro's sense of direction...
@gildedmuse replied:Â
 "JUST BECAUSE WE'RE ALLIES DOESN'T MAKE US FRIENDLY, STRAWHAT-YA! YOU CAN'T JUST HAVE YOUR SWORDSMAN BACK BECAUSE YOU MISS HIM!Â
Luffy: I DIDN'T HEAR ANY OF THAT IâM GONNA JUST KEEP ON ASSUMING YOU KNOW THE RIGHT WAY BECAUSE WE BESTIES!Â
Law: I DO NOT LIKE YOU!Â
Luffy: LOVE YOU TOO!
Bepo is just like "Usopp is not wrong it's pretty bad you guys " No one pays him any attention. Maybe if he was a fucking ninja turtle....
When a Kung Fu polar bear just isn't enough
@dragonprincess18 replied:
Law is a grumpy panda teddy, and Luffy knows it. There's no denying it now. They've all seen it. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he and Mikey both read Sora: Warrior of the sea.
Poor Bepo, he's still cute enough for me! *hugs Bepo*
@gildedmuse replied:
I mean you know Raphael reads that shit but doesn't openly tell anyone right? Because I feel that is definitely true.
@dragonprincess18 replied:
Raphael has a reputation to uphold. And a baby brother to annoy. đ

TMNT Leo x April [Fic Request]
Thank you to the Wonderful @narwals14 for the Request đ
[Type of Fic: Fluff]
[Warnings: Minor swearing]
Fugitoid touched down the Ship on a Nearby Planet causing everyone to stumble a bit from the Impact "Okay everyone! We needed to make a quick pit stop. Now this time can we please not try to tick off an intergalactic Alien warlord please?" He asked then shook his head and walked towards the door and opened it. Raph rolled his eyes then walked into the Room with the others to get Geared up with Casey walking beside him "Ha! No promises Fuiga-dude" He nudged Fugitoids shoulder as he passed by.
Fugitoid groaned and hung his head "Oh dear..." He shook his head "What am I gonna do with you all..." He mumbled to himself. April gently placed her hand on Fugitoids shoulder "Don't worry professor. Casey is just Joking" She smiled reassuring but it soon faded "...Ehh... Well at least I hope..." She shook her head "We'll all make sure to keep him in check" She promised. Fugitoid nodded "Thank you April"
She smiled "No problem!" She went to go gear up with the Others. Casey nudged April's shoulder when she walked in, causing her to rub it and glare at him "So, You're Gonna keep me in Check eh red?" He grinned and got close to her face. April only rolled her eyes and shoved his face out of hers "You heard me right, Jones" She turned her back to him and started to attach her gear to her Yellow jumpsuit. Casey chuckled "Well I'll make sure to Really misbehave around you then Red~" He flirted.
"Ay, Casey. Leave her be." Raph told him then dragged him out by the back of his suit. "Ah! Hey! Cut it out Raph!" He groaned then looked at April "See you later Babe!" He yelled out to her. April only wrinkled her face in disgust at the Nickname and scoffed before continuing to gear up. As Casey was being dragged out, out of the corner of his eye he spotted a Pissed off Leonardo glaring daggers his way as Leo was also in the Room gearing up with everyone else.
Leo soon finished before hearing April sigh, causing him to look over at her then look back at his gear and clearing his throat nervously "..Just ignore him April. You know how Casey Can be sometimes" He grabbed his Swords and Lazer guns, equipping them to himself before walking over to her. She held her Helmet in her hands and nodded looking at him before looking at her Reflection in it "Yeah, I know. He's just so Annoying sometimes" She shook her head then put it on. Leo nodded "Yeah.. But that's Casey for you" He shrugged then left the Ship with her.
Her eyes widened "Woah... This place is gorgeous" She glanced around. Leo glanced around as well and nodded "Yeah.." Leo then glanced at her and smiled lightly before she glanced back at him with a confused look, wondering why he was staring at her. Leo blushed lightly and quickly looked away from her, tensing up. Fugitoid came over and stood by the Two of them "This is the Planet of Hanviea. A Beautiful Planet known for it's Crystal mining, Peaceful Population, Great Trade routes, and Beautiful waters and Gardens" His face lit up to show a happy smile "The Aarrealek People who inhabit this planet have Lived in Peace for Centuries and are known for their hospitality and Great Talent" He explained. April nodded "I bet"
Fugitoid nodded "Now shoo you two, go have your fun" He nudged them off.
~Timeskip because I'm lazyyyy~
Leo walked with April and had a Genuinely nice conversation with her. They stopped at a few booths from time to time to look at some of the items people were selling. Leo picked up a Really Pretty Crystal that looked like it had its own little waterfall within it "Wow.. Hey April, come look at-" He looked over to expect to see April standing by his side but he didn't see her. Panic shot through him as he set the Crystal down "April?" He called for her "April!" He called for her again but got no response. Leo quickly ran off from the booth to look for her. He search for at least an Hour before finally finding her in one of the Garden Area's "April! There you are! Why did you run off like that? I-I've been looking for you for ages!" He scolded. April was too fascinated by the flowers to pay attention to Leo's bickering.
"That's amazing.." Leo took the flower back from her and it changed back to the blue/green color again. April nodded then glanced at Leo, admiring his features and getting a bit lost. Leo looked at her and Smiled Smugly "April?"
"April are you even listening to me?" Leo asks and crouches down next to her, glancing at the flowers before glancing back at her. April snapped out of her little daze and looked at Leo "Huh? Oh y-yeah, totally" She shook her head and looked back at the Flowers. Leo sighed then looked at the flowers and his eyes widened slightly "Damn..." He picked a flower up and the flower went from a Glowing white color and changed to a Pretty Green/blue color. April looked at the flower in Leo's hand and gently took it from him and examined it. The flower then flickered again and changed to a pretty Yello/brown/brown color "Woah..."
April blinked "H-Hm?" She asked and looked at him. Leo motioned to the Flowers around them, they had all went from a pretty white to a Bright Red-ish pink color. April noticed them and blushed "Ah! What the hell!? Why are they doing that? I-Is Raph Nearby or something? H-He has to be.." She tried to play it off. Leo smiled and shook his head "Ooo~ ouch~ if he heard that you even associated him with anything related to the color pink he'd kill you" He teased. April blinked then rolled her eyes playfully and playfully hit Leo's shoulder "Oh quiet you~ if that's the case then he better not find out from a certain someone" She playfully warned. Leo raised an eyebrow "Oh yeah? And who might that certain someone be Miss O'Neill?" He asked.
"You're Smart, you'll figure it out" She held her head up high. Leo chuckled and shook his head before placing the flower back into in her hands "Hey.. April?" He asked. "Yeah Leo?" She looked at him
"There is something I've been meaning to tell you for Awhile now..." He leaned in close to her face. She nodded "okay?" She tilted her head. Leo gulped and seemed very nervous "I..." He sighed "...I... Like you... April, okay?... As like.. More than a Friend and before you say anything yeah I know it's dumb and so sudden and now is probably the worst time to tell you since we have more important things to focus on like saving Earth but it's just been driving me nuts and I needed to get this off my chest.. Not to mention I feel like a huge dick considering Donnie and Casey also Like you" He looked down "and I know you'd Probably Prefer someone like Casey over myself or Donnie but either way... I just thought I'd let you know so that I can at least sleep at night now" He scoffed. April's eyes widened and her Jaw Dropped as she fell silent
Leo sighed "Sorry to Bother you..." He stood up and proceeded to walk off before being stopped when a hand grabbed his wrist, causing him to flinch and look at who grabbed him. April grinned mischievously "So I managed to Steal the Fearless Leaders Heart, eh?" She asked teasingly. Leo blushed lightly and rubbed his neck a bit "I guess.." He smiled lightly and glanced away from her. She smiled and squealed "Ahhh! I can't believe it!"
Leo was utterly confused and shocked by her reaction "I-.. Uhh-.. What? You aren't mad? O-Or disgusted?" He asked. She shook her head "Nope!"
Leo's eyes widened and he smiled but it soon faded "Wait... What about Donnie and Casey?" He asked. April shrugged and crossed her arms "I mean... Casey is well...-erm.. Casey. And Donnie is an Absolute Sweetheart but I don't really see him as anything more than like a Friend or Brother" She shrugged. Leo nodded "Oh..."
April returned the nod "Yeah.." She shook her head then Both her and Leo got a Buzz on their Arm gauntlets with a Voice message from fugitoid
"The ship is all fixed and Refueled! Please Report back to the Ship! Blee-bloop"
"well, I guess that's our cue" April shrugged and took Leo's hand and started walking back towards the ship "C'mon"
Leo followed her but was still in shock by what just happened, thinking this was some Dream. A God Damn wonderful dream for the Blue clad turtle. But either way for him whether it was or wasn't.. He was still one Damn happy turtle.

Callie Reviews: TMNT 2012 Season One (Part One)
Ever since 1984, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise has gone form a cult-status indie comic to a massive mass market. There have been various comics, movies, video games, merchandise, and of course cartoons. And itâs easy to see why. TMNTâs concept, a group of mutated teen turtles fighting evil in New York, is both incredibly bizarre and incredibly appealing to a mass audience. You have action, science fiction, martial arts, and of course plenty of mutant ideas to make toys out of. The fact that this Fall will be releasing the fourth animated TMNT series and that a new movie series is in production shows that even over 30 years later, this is a franchise that is far from losing itâs power.
As a kid, I of course knew that Turtles as a thing and I even watch parts of 2k3. But I was never really a fan until the day I stumbled upon the 2012 show. I fell in love with it and, since it started when I was just starting this blog, it was a huge focus for me for several years. I have since moved on and while Iâm going to check out the 2018 show, I donât think Iâm going to be as crazy as I was with this show (but never say never). Back in 2012, I was someone who... lets say ignored the flaws and defended the show far too passive aggressively to the point that looking at my older stuff makes me want to blow up by blog.Â
Nowadays, while some of my opinions hold true (like the âDonnie is a stalkerâ accusations are still bullshit), I am more willing to admit the shows problems, especially now that I can take the show in fully. I also like to believe that Iâve become a better reviewer since I was 19 years old, plus it had been far too long since I went back over the show form the very beginning. So does the show still hold up? Will 25 year old Callie feel differently than 19 year old Callie did? Well weâre about to find out. This is the TMNT 2012 Season One Review!
The Premiere (Episodes 1-2)
Our story begins with a training sequence that introduces us to the titular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. Along with some minor character establishment, like Mikey being the funny one and Raph the violent one, the biggest thing here is one of the shows strengths: the choreography. Itâs best exhibited in Leo and Raphâs duel. The movements are very fluid and well-paced. Itâs fast, but not too fast, itâs enough to move things along but still let you take in all the impacts. Itâs very well done. Raph ends up winning and we are introduce to the boys mentor and father, Master Splinter. Aka, the best written character int he show, but weâll get to that later.
After the opening theme, we cut to the boys 15th Mutation Day where we get our backstory. Borrowing from the 80â˛s show origin, Splinter was once a young man named Hamato Yoshi. He had just bought four pet turtles when he stumbled across a shady dealing. Being a ninja master, he was able to fight back, but he ended up getting splattered with a strange green substance. This turned him into a rat, as one brushed his ankle while the baby Turtles become anthropomorphic. Yoshi, taking on the name Splinter, fled to the sewers and raised the four turtles as his own as well as taught them ninjutsu. Itâs a simple, but still solid telling of the origin that pays tribute to previous origins, leaves some mystery about the substance and who was dealing it, and is told with use of comic-style panels reminiscent of the original comics.
The Turtles, having lived in the sewers since their mutation, are hoping to convince Splinter to let them finally go to the surface. After some begging, Splinter reluctantly agrees. We then cut to Leo watching a Star Trek: The Animated Series parody where we learn of his desire to become a great hero and leader. This is interesting for several reasons. One, it establishes that Leo isnât the leader of the group yet, a departure form normal as heâs normally put into that role automatically. And second, ti does a great job at character establishment. In previous versions, Leo is often seen as the boring, overly leader type. Not a bad character mind you, but he lacks the quirkiness that the tough Raph, genius Donnie, and wild child Mikey present. Here? Leo is shown to be an idealistic, naive, but good-intention kid who aspires to be a great hero like he sees on TV as well as give shim some dorky characteristics, like quoting cheesy one-liners to sound more heroic. It helps make him more relateable, funny, and sets up a character arc for when he does inevitably become the leader. Very well done.
The boys finally go to the surface, and are in awe of what they see. They even discover their trademark favorite food, pizza. Given that they only ever ate worms and algae until this point, it makes their love of it all the more understandable. But not all goes well as they soon witness a group of business men kidnapping a red-haired teenager and her father. They attempt to help, but end up only beating each other up and the bad guys get away with their captives. Mikey ends up beating up one and discovers... a brain with tentacles... yipe... he tries to tell the other three, but they donât believe him. A common trend in the show.
Upon returning home, the boys try to blame each other for the failure before Splinter accepts it for not giving them proper training as a team. While he considers keeping them down below for another year, Donnie convinces him to let them go help the girl due to seeing how terrified she was and how they failed to help her... and because of the crush he developed in a record five seconds. Splinter agrees, but first assigns Leo as the official leader, much to the ire of Raph. Theyâre eventually able to find the kidnappers vehicle and wreck it, capturing the driver named Snake and they discover a vat of a glowing green substance. A vat that they recognize as the same one that caused their original mutation.
Snake, after Raph threatens to mutate him, leads the boys to the facility where the captives are... and uses the boys bickering as a chance to escape. Leo uses this to trick the crook into thinking that theyâre going to plow his van into the place as he conducts a plan to sneak in. All while Roah is an asshole who refuses to listen and outright undermines Leoâs orders. Yeah, Raph is a real jerk during this season. FYI. When Leo shows hesitance about his plan, Splinter tells him of his final confrontation against his rival Oroku Saki, aka The Shredder. It ended in his wife being killed, his house burning down, and his infant daughter nowhere to be found. Well, that wonât be important in any way, shape, or form later! The point being that he lost everything, but gained the boys, easing Leoâs worries about how much is riding on the plan.
So yeah the boys crash the van, Snake gets mutated, the boys break in, fight some guards, and Mikey proves that he isnât crazy about the aliens.. and then trips an alarm. Smooth Mikey, smooth. They find the captives, that being this version of April OâNeil and her scientist father. Now in most versions, April is an adult woman. Here? She is aged down and is around sixteen years old. Weâll talk more about that later. The bad guys, aka The Kraang, take the captives away and as the boys give chase,t hey are confronted by the mutant Snake... who is a weed monster. Hey, thatâs breaking supervillain rules writers! If you have an evil sounding name, thatâs what you turn into! Donnie is sent to rescue the OâNeilâs as the other three face Snakeweed... Mikeyâs idea, not mine.
The boys eventually defeat Snake via Leoâs direction and mass electrocution while Donnie is able to rescue April, but her father is taken away. April plans to find him however, no matter what it takes with the boys promising to help in whatever way they can. Once home, Leo finds out the complex reasoning for why he was named the leader over everyone else... because he asked. Ming-boggling, right? Well there is actually another reason, but weâll talk about this in S4. The boys also made the news as their shruriken got found, but come on, what could one tiny news story do that would be bad? Well... being seen by your masterâs worst enemy and re-igniting his lust for vengeance might count! Woopsie!
Overall, a solid two parter. It establishes the characters well, has fun fight scenes, the animation is a little dated now but still pretty good, the dialogue is funny, and it does a good job setting up future plotlines while fulfilling itâs own plot. It started 2k12 off on the right foot and was still enjoyable over five years since itâs initial premiere.
The Beginning (Episodes 3-8)
The episodes following the premiere create a steady flow of creating the status quo. You have episodes like Turtle Temper, Metalhead, and Monkey Brains (kinda) that have the boys dealing with the Kraangâs Plan of the Week as they continue their mutagen experiments. It helps with character development and some minor plot progression, such as Raph learning how dangerous his anger can be and Donnie learning to rely on his instincts rather than on his mind 100% of the time. Some are going to want me to comment on the shipping stuff, But Iâm gonna save that for later. The biggest issue with these episodes, aside from Monkey Brains, is the Kraang. They are not interesting as villains at all. As great a VA as Nolan North is, the Kraangâs way of talking just gets... annoying. It doesn't help that the threat ultimately becomes either an accidental mutant or Donnieâs robot... well okay a Kraang possessed the later, but it shows that those are more interesting villains than the Kraang themselves and they exist mroe to just have an excuse for a plot. Itâs really irking after awhile.
As far as plot goes, itâs mostly your usual âMonster of the Weekâ stuff. But it has some small things that have a larger impact later. For one, in Monkey Brains, April begins to tap into what looks like some strong emphatic abilities. More on this next season. But due to this, Splinter decides to take April on as a student and train her to be a kunoichi (a female ninja). This will be the largest part of her character for the remainder of the series. April herself... is not utilized as well as she could have been in these early episodes. Sheâs described as the boys guide to the outside world, and she does serve that in some respects. For example, introducing Mikey to social media in New Friend, Old Enemy to let him make friends without exposing his mutant identity. And in Never Say Xever she takes them to a blind manâs shop so that they can actually experience life topside for once. The issue is we never see April establish bonds with the boys or Splinter after her introduction. In New Friend, Old Enemy she just acts like sheâs been friends with the guys for awhile and after showing Mikey the net, doesnât appear or is even mentioned in the episode again. She disappears after her importance in Metalhead as well, but she is given mroe to work with there at least. I glossed over this when I was watching the show and April does get mroe time with the guys, her relationship with Splinter being one of my favorites. Still, they didnât do a lot with having April become part of the group or really act on her role as their âguideâ and I feel they just wanted to ignore it to get to the other stuff. Which is just a bummer.
So youâre probably wondering about Shredder stuff, right? Well thankfully the Foot Episodes are also the most plot relevant episodes. It starts with New Friend, Old Enemy where Shredder arrives in New York and assigns one of his lieutenants, a famous martial artist named Chris Bradford, to find out about Splinter. The Foot end up encountering the Turtles, with Bradford later using this to manipulate Mikey after accidentally becoming online friends with him. He captures him and use shim as bait to lure out the other three and then follow them to where Splinter is hiding. It fails with the boys using their knowledge of the sewers to literally wash Bradford and his partner, Xever, away. Along with the dangers of meeting people you donât really know on social media, the episode presents a very unique lesson. In a fight for your life, screw fairness, You fight by any means necessary to stay alive, including fighting dirty. Most shows emphasize on being fair, but this one actually acknowledges that if your life is on the line, you do what it takes to get out alive. Itâs a unique message for a kids show and one that I really appreciate.
Next is Never Say Xever where Xever gets to lead the charge. After the boys track down the two and get beat up, Xever receives inlet from the Purple Dragons, who int his version are pretty much a trio of teen thugs. The Turtles fought them off earlier at the shop April took them to, with Leo sparing the leader as an act of mercy. Something that Raph takes umbridge with... as he does with most anything that Leo does in the first half of the series. Itâs no surprise that Leo and Raph butt heads, as they do in most series, and it follows their respective arcs. Leo having to deal with being leader as well as realizing that itâs much more pressuring and unforgiving than he thought, while Raph act son his jealousy that Leo got the position even though heâs the better fighter and therefore questioning Leoâs orders or outright just being an asshole for no good reason. But after the shop owner is kidnapped to lure the Turtles out, Leoâs act of mercy ends up saving them as the lead Dragon repays the favor by throwing him back his discarded sword. Which Leo uses to break a water tower to wash the bad guys away again. Angered, The Shredder decides to handle the Turtles himself.
The episodes do a good job in establishing a solid status quo. Bad guy does a thing, one character has their B-Plot to deal with, thereâs a clash, the plots intertwine, bad guy gets defeated, and the lesson of the day is learned. A simple routine, but it works here. Plus we get plenty of character establishment and moments which makes you care about them. For example even though Raph is a massive jerk, the end of New Friend, Old Enemy has his comfort Mikey after the deceit and have him see that heâs a good kid who simply got duped as anyone else would. With this being after Raph mocked him wanting to make friends throughout the episode, it helped show that he does have a caring side. Leo frequently has issues with being a leader, such as dealing with Raph and moments like in ITHNiBS where the guys outright refuse to listen to him when he tries to remind them that theyâre grounded. Even Splinter has a lot of moments, being a stern but fair parental figure and wise mentor, but is also snarky as Hell. We also see hints to how much the past has affected him, like after April agrees to undergo kunoichi training and leaves the dojo, thereâs just a brief moment where he looks down with a forlorn expression. As though wishing that he was telling this to his own MIA daughter. Itâs so subtle, but it speaks volumes about his emotional state.Â
The characters are ultimately what makes these episodes works and what I would say is the strongest part of the series. You are likely going to relate to or like someone from this show and their progression. But now that we have a fully formed status quo, itâs time to shake it up a little bit and have the Turtles experience their first hard dose of reality.
The Escalation (Epsidoes 9-13)
Episode 9 begins as a typical âMutant of the Weekâ plot with the guys trying to catch a pigeon mutant that was after April. But when they do, they discover that he was simply trying to deliver a message... from her father. The message warns her to get out of the city due to a mutagen bomb, but she refuses to leave without him. As such,t he Turtles... somehow... find where Mr. OâNeil is and try to save him. While they get him out of the cell and get the location of the bomb, Mr. OâNeil sacrifices himself when the Kraang outnumber them so that the boys can protect April. All while poor April can only watch, helpless to do anything. Ouch...
The Turtles can only go to where the bomb is to disarm it, but things get further complicated when Bradford and Xever attack, wanting payback from before. Fortunately Donnie disarms the bomb and the four corner the two, but Bradford refuse sot go down quietly and stabs the bomb, but all it does is mutate himself and Xever. But ti also washes them away.... again. I should also point out that this point,t he Turtles have gotten incredibly over-confident since theyâve beaten every bad guy so far, feeling unstoppable. So then... Shredder arrives. Yep. And he kicks their shells HARD. Liek he holds no punches, he easily over-powers all four of them and almost stabs Leo int he head. The only reason that they escape is Shredder getting distracted by his now mutated lieutenants. But the boys retreat, badly beaten up and completely demoralized.
The next episode focuses on the fallout. The four are mostly feeling better, but their fears are being escalated by, of all people, Splinter. This is due to the boys nearly getting killed by his long-time rival re-igniting his own trauma and having nightmares over losing them, causing him to again keep them in the sewers and be far more harsh with his training. The only one doing moderately well is April, who gets intel about the Foot planning to destroy the sewers. The Turtles try to stop it, but get pounded by Bradford, who is now a giant dog mutant named Dogpound. This forces April to get the inlet herself, but she gets caught an captured by the Foot. This further brings Leo down, but to his surprise Raph actually encourages him to pull himself together and lead the team. The Turtles manage to both save April and stop the Foot from destroying the sewers with Splinter apologizing for allowing his fears to affect both himself and his sons. Overall, a solid pair of episodes that bring the boys down a bit, finally has all the plots meet somewhere, and deliver a strong message about not letting fear control you or the others around you.
After a filler episode where the only importance is Shredder forcibly recruiting Stockman to his forces, we get some more Kraang stuff with Episode 12. Where we actually show them being dangerous. Shocker, right?! It also introduces us to long-time supporting character within the franchise Leatherhead. Here he is an alligator mutant who the Kraang experimented on and it causes him to have violent fits of rage if he so much as hears the word âKraangâ. The Turtles end up saving him when the Kraang try to re-capture him, but find his angry bursts, well... dangerous. But Mikey is able to befriend him and it becomes more clear that LH is actually a rather intelligent, good-hearted mutant who has been put through Hell. He gets run off by Splinter though when one of his trauma-induced bursts causes him to attack the boys, forcing the rat master to intervene. Mikey, and by proxy the other three, give chase to an old subway car where LH reveals how the Kraang took him to their home, Dimension X, and experimented on him. He escaped and also took their Power Cell, cutting them off form Dimension X, in hopes of saving humanity from them. The Kraang want it back and act like a zombie swarm as they break through the car. LH fights them off, leaving the Power Cell in the Turtles care.
While Episode 11 sucks (to put it simply Leo and Raph are overbearing assholes while Donnie and Mikey are just made to be as weak as possible), the other three do a good job at making the villains more solid threats. Shredder was built up as intimidating and powerful, and boy did he deliver. The Turtles face their first major loss and have to deal with the fallout, Leo especially dealing with his first real failure as a leader. Even the Kraang come off as a scarier hivemind and we get mroe stuff on them, like Dimension X and their plans to mutate the Earth. Add that with a strong supporting character like Leatherhead, who is understandably traumatized but is an intelligent being who is trying to prevent others form suffering like him. and it helps make some strong episodes.
The first half of the season concludes with the 13th episodes... that aired as the 14th for some reason. But Iâm going in order of my DVDâs and this was after Episode 12, so itâs what Iâm going with. It both concludes a lot and opens up a lot for the future. The episode I am talking about is, of course New Girl in Town.
TBC in Part Two....

maybe some of that tmnt space au cause it's perfecto?
thank you for even knowing about this au :â)
the rest of boldly go is here

Somehow, ridiculously, it came in the mail.Â
Casey showed up in the lair on an unremarkable morning with an armload of packages, each one covered in a plethora of mismatched stamps and labeled âTo Donatello and family, from Donatello and family.âÂ
âThereâs still a ton more at home,â their human sibling said, looking as confused as Leo felt.
Mikey wanted to open them right away, as eager as a kid on Christmas, but Donnie wanted to scan them first to be on the safe side.Â
He scowled when his scanner subsided into a mess of binary and an unhealthy static noise, mutttered âof course,â and ripped open the first package without preamble.Â
Inside was a thick letter of instructions, what looked like an assembly manual; somehow printed to the pages in what Leo recognized immediately was Donnieâs untidy scrawl, right down to the afterthoughts scribbled in the margins.Â
âThey must have come from other you,â Mikey said. âThe you thatâs with the Fugitoid right now. Thatâs so cool!â
Oh, right. That was a thing. They had a band of alternate selves roaming the universe somewhere, probably getting up to all the trouble and mischief Leo and his brothers had. Probably even more, since they werenât on a time-sensitive mission to save Earth, and had more room and opportunity to roam and play. Â
Leo⌠wasnât sure how he felt about that.
âTrippy,â Raph said succinctly. âWhat is it, Don?â
Their little brother was fully absorbed as he flipped through the pages, brown eyes wide behind his mask. âThese are the building plans for an ansible. A â communications device. They only exist in sci-fi books. Normally thereâs a limited bandwidth, but this â this looks like itâs going to be a telecom, holy cats! It would be amazing if I could build something like that!â
Donnie leafed through the manual some more, completely lost to that inventorâs half of his brain that took him places his brothers couldnât follow. Leo gestured for help getting the rest of the packages open, and they arranged the vaguely familiar futuristic tools and complicated-looking parts on a clear worktable as carefully as they could. Going so far as to dive after any of the tiny circuits they dropped, because thereâd be no replacing any of this stuff if it got lost.
âWell, I mean,â Casey said, crawling on the floor looking for a chip the size of a pea, âif Donâs the one who sent us all this stuff, he probably knew to send a ton of spare parts.âÂ
âStill,â Leo said, at length. Casey rolled his eyes without heat and enlisted Raphâs help in collecting the rest of the intergalactic mail stowed at Caseyâs apartment.
It took two and a half weeks for Donnie to assemble the machine that was light-years ahead of Earth technology. His other self thought of everything, down to the last bolt and wire, not taking for granted how limited their supplies were â remembering, probably, how difficult it was for Donnie to build anything he could take pride in with junkyard parts. April and Casey practically lived at the lair all that time, helping him assemble and make sense of the near-impossible.Â
It was an exhausted Donatello that leaned out the lab door on an early Thursday morning and beckoned his family inside. There were dark smudges under his eyes but he was glowing with a visceral excitement that made Mikey bounce on his toes in turn.Â
The screen was alive, flickering as it sent out a signal to the coordinates the other Don included in his instructions.
âYou did it!â Raph whooped, grinning at him. âYouâre a freakinâ genius, Donnie, I donât say it enough.âÂ
Don beamed at him.Â
Casey was dozing against Aprilâs shoulder, and she looked like she was barely hanging in there herself, but Donnie was the absolute, undisputed champion when it comes to surviving on nothing but coffee and willpower.Â
âOnce the connection is established, communications will be fast,â he said brightly. âLike, faster-than-light fast. We just donât know how long it might take to â â
â â think itâs working now,â said Mikey. But when they glanced at him, he blinked back, nonplussed.Â
They all turned to the ansible as one and a second Mikey smiled at them from the screen. His mask was gone, and one side of his face was taken up by the curling edge of a soft pink tattoo. The only familiar thing about this version of his little brother was the freckles dusted across the bridge of his beak, and Leo felt something uneasy lurch in his stomach.Â
âGood job, Don,â the second Michelangelo said warmly, with a quiet pride in his voice that made him sound like Splinter. âIâll go wake up the others.âÂ
Before he could go more than a step, someone tackled him from behind while he was still in frame and he lurched forward with a sudden yelp.
âJokeâs on you!â Leoâs other self said, loud and cheerful, hanging off Mikeyâs carapace like a limpet. âIâm already awake!âÂ
Their jackets matched, Leo realized, watching the two of them in fascination. The tattoos on space Michelangelo, where Leo could see them peeking out of his collar and curling down his shoulders, warmed into a happy coral color.
âOh, itâs Leader Leo,â the second Leonardo said, as though it wasnât a miracle of engineering that they were talking face to face from whole light years away as effortlessly as Skyping. âHey, I actually had a question for you! Whatâs your favorite cartoon? I canât remember.âÂ
Thoroughly overwhelmed, Leo said, âItâs, uh. Space Heroes.â His other self brightened, the way Casey and Mikey both did before the beginning of a bad joke, and then laughed.
âThatâs kind of redundant, isnât it?â
âWow,â April breathed from somewhere behind Leoâs shoulder. âTheyâre so different. Itâs only been a year, hasnât it?â
âJust about,â Raph said back, equally as quiet. âI guess I thought theyâd be just like us, butâŚâÂ
âNow, whatâs all this?â said someone from the space-side of the transmission. Leo heard Donnieâs breath catch. âItâs bedtime for turtles, you know. Past so, even.â
âExtenuating circumstances, Professor,â the second Michelangelo said wryly, and stepped aside with Leonardo to give Honeycutt room to peer into the telecom screen.Â
âOh, my!â he said, delighted. âExtenuating circumstances, indeed! Mike, Lee, go and fetch your siblings. I know theyâre tired, but they wonât want to miss this!âÂ
âSure,â Leonardo said agreeably, hopping down. He tugged Michelangelo along by the trailing end of his long scarf, walking backwards to talk along the way. Michelangelo followed agreeably, and laughed when Leonardo tripped and fell with a squawk.Â
âAh, well. Never a dull moment with six children aboard ship, let me tell you. Anyway! Hello, dear friends!âÂ
Honeycuttâs digital eyes were curved into happy parentheses, his hands moving erratically. He was exactly the same as the last time Leo had seen him.Â
âWhat a pleasure this is! Iâm not sure if you remember me â we only met briefly, after all â so allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Professor Zayton Honeycutt. I had so hoped we would meet again!â
