just realized a plot point in thh has so much more going on to it now that i have read the drk summaries, and its driving me insane
(spoilers below for both drk vol 7 and thh ch 1 spoilers if anyone wants to read. also please not since i got my information from a summary and not the source it may not be 100% correct but the general jist works enough here)
so, in drk vol 7, its revealed the person who set up the last duel noir was yui samidare herself, but not completely out of her free will. quick explanation of whar a duel noir is if you dont know: a duel noir is basically just a scenario where someone who is a victim of a past crime that was not solved/wasnt solved properly can use to get "catharsis" or basically just a personal sense of justice against the person who committed the crime against them (maybe a bad explanation but im trying to keep it short. basically all you need to know is that yui set up this duel noir mainly to get revenge on the person who kidnapped and murdered her sister, but also because kyokos life was being threatened if yui didnt do this) so ofc, kyoko is able to figure the set-up out (but not the fact that one of the main reasons yui did it was for her safety), and gets very upset over this, not understanding why she would want to do this despite them both seeing many innocent people die due to these duel noirs and feeling betrayed by someone she trusted dearly. yui is trying to apologize but uh oh! the dude who killed her sister is still alive and is shoots her with a crossbow, then kicking her repeatedly, then targets kyoko to kill. yui then decides to use her last bit of her strength to sacrifice herself, dragging the killer away to a cliff, which they ultimately fall off due to the building exploding and knocking them off.
even though kyoko felt betrayed by yui, she was still devastated, and the person who did that to her still deeply cared about her well being, using her final breathe to save her life. now flash forward to thh, right after the 1st trial. makoto is devastated to learn sayaka deceived him in order to kill someone and pin it on him. this was someone he deeply trusted, and they ended up using this trust against him, even if the plan ultimately failed in the end.
HOWEVER, this is where kyoko come in to speak with him. she tells him its an undeniable fact that his trust was taken advantage of, but the actions taken by sayaka proved that she still had some care about his well being, given the fact she had possibly hesitated the attack, and the fact she left the dying message in order to clear makotos name.
she basically tells him that even though he was betrayed and taken advantage of in the end, it was sayakas care for his life that saved him in the end, with her using her last bit of strength to write that message. do you all get what i am saying here??
kyoko approached makoto to tell him all this stuff about how sayaka cared for him even if she betrayed his trust because she knows EXACTLY how that felt, especially due the fact that kyoko never fully knew yuis intention either.

aaaand goodbye teruteru
------
the what now
I GOT STUCK HERE FOR SO FUCKING LONG BC THEY GIVE YOU THIS. PILE OF INCOMPREHENSIBLE INSTRUCTIONS AND THEN NONE OF IT MAKES ANY SENSE
in dr1 they had a similar mechanic where you had to hit the buttons at the right tempo to knock out their statements, which was also confusing but i was starting to get decently good at it by the end of the game, but in this one the timing is TOTALLY OFF and i kept missing every single one and couldn’t figure out why, then realized it worked sometimes if i held down the button instead of just clicking it like you do in dr1 (which they didn’t explain!!! in this one!!!) but eventually figured out if i just like. double clicked on the beat i could break them for some reason. i dont know why. it works and i cannot explain how
but then at the end when you reach the final strike, you have to put together a phrase out of four words to refute “where could the weapon have been?” and i was CONVINCED it was “On The Meat Bone” (even though technically it was hidden In the bone i guess) and i didnt realize i had the phrase wrong and thought i just wasn’t hitting it correctly for some reason so i failed this like 6 times before i finally realized it was MEAT ON THE BONE
i understand owari’s not the type to give a shit probably but do you really wanna eat meat off of the skewer that was very recently repeatedly stabbed into a guy’s abdomen
even if he cleaned it off before he put it back thats still like, fucked up lmao
monokuma took care of it though i guess :’ )
kind of alarming that he’s capable of eating now, but
THANK YOU NANAMI
,,,,ok
I WILL SAY that the final closing sequence is WAY better in sdr2, it’s way way clearer what you’re looking for, the blanks give you hints as to what might go there, the picture options give you descriptions of what you’re looking at (frequently i know exactly what im trying to explain but cant figure out which picture goes where bc they’re just. incomprehensible out of context) and THEY FINALLY FIXED THE SCROLL THING :’)
i dont know if its just broken as hell with a laptop trackpad and maybe it works with a mouse (or maybe it’s just not designed for pc in the first place, this was originally. ps vita or something i think) but the scroll sensitivity was SO broken in dr1 i spent most of my time just trying desperately to scroll to the thing i needed without scrolling past it
i still have that problem when im trying to pick which truth bullet to fire but thats not As bad as this part was in dr1 at least
ok so my bIGGEST PROBLEM WITH ALL THIS, is WHY DIDN’T TERUTERU TELL ANYBODY ABOUT THIS
if he Knew what komaeda was up to (and he did, it’s confirmed right after this) why didn’t he just go tell not-togami right away. even if he thought nobody would believe him, that guy would have taken it very seriously since he already was on his guard and knew there was a threat
i mean i guess like. he saw an opportunity to kill komaeda, which he could feel justified about bc he knew komaeda was already planning a murder, and if he got away with it he could escape but that still means he was willing to sacrifice everyone else
like he does give kind of a weak attempt at asking if it counts as an exception because it was sort of self defense (komaeda couldn’t kill him from where he was but he was gonna kill Someone so he was defending. someone) but he still.... knew komaeda was going to kill somebody and made the choice to just kill him himself without warning anyone or saying Anything and then kept that fact to himself too
back in dr1 again we had this similar situation in the first trial where leon actually was acting in self defense (which is Confirmed in the manga, he doesn’t get a chance to explain it in the game) and didn’t tell anyone but like... none of them knew yet if they could get off on a technicality and we don’t know if he might’ve been hoping for that, and he didn’t know sayaka was dangerous, he didn’t make the conscious decision to go kill her without telling anyone. he probably should have asked someone else for help when she lost it but his intention was to get in there to talk it out, so like. he tried to de-escalate the situation and became a killer by accident, teruteru had plenty of time to get help and decided to kill instead. and “hey byakuya i think komaeda is planning something bad” would have been a completely logical thing to do, he would have taken it seriously and teruteru would be innocent in that scenario, vs “guys i think i just killed sayaka but hear me out i didnt mean to” would NOT have gone over well, nobody’s gonna help him or believe him when it’s Sweet Dear Precious Sayaka, naegi could barely believe she attacked him even when they proved it with evidence
i dont know i feel like teruteru had a lot more intent behind what he did. even if he would have been absolutely fucking justified in killing komaeda and i wish he had done it correctly :’ ) i think the “i dont care about taking everyone else down with him” is way more clear-cut here
anyway, goodbye little bastard man
motherfucker
i still CANNOT follow komaeda’s logic here
he’s obsessed with the Ultimates... and believes in them SOOO Much :) he’s desperate to see them overcoming the ultimate despair... so he’s gotta kill somebody... to induce ultimate despair... so they can overcome it... i GUESS???
wouldn’t defeating monokuma and making it out of here on their own strength without resorting to murder at all be the ultimate hope triumph though. what are you DOING, komaeda
what is W R O N G wiTH YOu
well there he goes
i really wish someone would
P LE ASE DO
AKANE OWARI MY QUEEN
its not. clear but im pretty sure she Did punch him
its a crime that we dont get to see this, but
i mean. she’s right

Kimi no Na wa (君の名は。)
Before, I review this movie on my own version, I want to tell you why i am intersting with this movie. Basically, I only watch anime like Conan, Shincan, and Naruto/Boruto. I don’t like romance anime. The reason why I watched this movie because the orginal sound track “Nandemonaiya - なんでもないや” (meaning : Never mind) by RADWIMDS. There is something at the song that really takes my heart go deeper , just feel that I have to listen this song over and over again. That song makes me be greatful and blessful. I always listen that song every morning to give the positive energy. The lyric says “もう そくし だけ くっついて いよう か - Mou sokushi dake kuttsuite iyou ka ” (meaning: please stay with me, little bit longer). If we look closer, Japanase POP songs espesially on the lyrics so poetic and touching. The lyrics and the music are so matchable, especially when it is played orchestra. The details of the scene, some scenes are taken based on the original place, it is also amaze me.
Back to the movie. This movie was directed by Makoto Shinkai. Kino no Na wa tells the story between two youngster. Mitsuha Miyamizu a high school girl in rurak Japan Itomori Machi (Itomori Village (fiction)- Gufi Prefecture) it take 3 hours from Tokyo (Google map’s version) and Taki Tachibana, same as Mitsuha a high school boy but he lives in Tokyo. Overall the story is a wistfully lovely Japanese tale about time and fate.
As I mentioned before, Mitsuha a high school student who lived in Itomori Village, Hida Moutains, Gifu Prefecture. Because living in small village seems so boring to her, she wish that she can be a young boy who lives in Tokyo. And then Taki is also a high school boy, live in Tokyo, was woke up from his sleep and realize that his self was Mitsuha. Both of them realize that they exchanged souls and they started to communicate and leave a note on their phone. As time goes by, they are getting used to it, and start to interfere their own life each other. Mitsuha helped Taki to make a relationship with his co-workers Miki Okudera. On other side, Taki helped Mitsuha to get famous at her school. And then, Mitsuha tell Taki about a comet which predicted to crossing and approaching the earth in a few days, and how intersted she is to see it, because the time coincides with a summer festival in Itomori Village. FYI, Mitsuha has a sister Yatsuha Miyamizu and grandma (I don’t know her name lol). They live in family temple which keep in a hundred years until now (movie time).
One day, Mitsuha’s grandma ask Taki who inside Mitsuha’s body, “are you still dreaming?”, and tell her that Miyamizu’s descendants has ability to experiencing dreams about other people’s lives, when Mitsuha’s grandma said that, suddenly Taki was waking up from his sleep. And his phone was ringing and show that today’s dating with Miki which set by Mitsuha when she is inside Taki’s body. He met Miki in station, the date seems good but in the end of the day Miki realize that there is someone else that Taki thinks and the date was failed. It is true that Taki thinks about Mitsuha, and he try to call Mitsuha and tell that he want to meet her, but he didnt make it. After that they never exchange souls. He decide to go to Mitsuha’s Village (Itomori) and meet her.
Without know what Village’s name is, he travel to Hida mountains and only count on the sketch based on his memory when he was in Mitsuha’s body. He travel with his co-worker (Miki) and his classmate (Tsukasa Fujii). He visit a restaurant, and the chef of the restaurant knows Taki’s sketch as Itomori Village. The chef said that the village was beautiful but the village was hit by comet shards three years ago. When Taki read article about accident, he realize that the comet has killed one third of village’s population. He found Mitsuha, her sister, grandma, and also her classmate Katsuhiko Teshigarawa and Sayaka Natori who listed on the victim list. Taki, and Miki, and Tsukasa go to Mitsuha’s school, delivered by the chef. They can see the village entirely was damaged by comet. Taki check his cellphone to make sure that Mitsuha’ note on his phone is real and he wasn’t dreaming but all notes are deleted automaticly.
Trying to reconnected to Mitsuha’s body, Taki ventured to go alone to Miyamizu secret temple around Hida mountains. He realize that Mitsuha’s timeline with his were several years old. Back to when Mitsuha’s grandma said.”are you still dreaming?”, They (Mitsuha,Yatsuha, and her grandma) went to Miyamizu secret temple to present kuchikami-zake as gift to god. Kuchikami-Zake is a rice wine which made by chewing rice – vomited back and fermented into “sake”. Her grandma said that Kuchikami-Zake is half of the soul who made it. So to get back to Mitsuha’s body,he drink Kuchikami-Zake and suddenly, miracle was happen, he is back to Mitsuha’s body in the morning in the day before comet hit the village. He still has time to save the village and convince his friend (Katsuhiko Teshigawara and Sayaka Natori) about the comet and asking their help to evacuate the village as soon as possible. They planned to blow up village electricity source and hijack village radio to tell village the comet will hit Itomori, they made it but they were found out by Regent of Itomori District Mitsuha’s father. The goverment immendiately tell people to calm down and stay at home. And suddenly the comet shows up and breaks, and Mitsuha and Katsuhiko ensure their father to evacuate the village immediately. After at Mitsuha’s father office scene, the comet hits the village, and blow up entirely. In the next eight years, it shows that Mitsuha make it, and all village was saved. Back to Tokyo, Taki was graduated from university and looking for a job, and he feels that something is missing. Taki was interviewed by HRD in office. When at one cafe, he listen to Katsuhiko and Sayaka litte chit chat and he is looking to them, they leave the cafe. In train station, they were stunned at each other when they passed each other. And they descend at the next stop to looking for each other. Finally, they are met on a stairs in Tokyo city (Suga Temple Stairs) and asking their name each other. End of the movie (“Nandemonaiya” was sung).
Beside the story I want to tell you that I really love the scene at Miyamizu’s secret temple, the director can mix the movie with japanese’s culture perfectly (Her grandma tells about Kuchikami-Zake, Misubi, and others) and the details. Other details you also can see at Suga temple’s stair. It is real in Yotsuya, Tokyo, the animator drew it perfectly detail (the railing, stairs, the hallway, the gap between houses). I recommend you to watch this movie and listen for the oginal sound track.

"Can you please a scenario the DR1 girls s/o is killed off and their killer insults their s/o are being useless or something in that sort?"
So I'm going to pick a killer to insult S/O (because then I could make it more accurate to the killers character). Hopefully you enjoy it! -Mod Capricorn Kyoko Kirigiri: -When she manages to put together all of the clues, her deductions concluded that you were killed by Celeste. -When Makoto comes to the same conclusion, she's looking at Celeste for an explanation. -Celeste freaks out. -Your murderer was insulted that Kyoko saw something special in you that nobody else had. -"Kyoko, dear. Why do you always go with the blandest of personalities to go with?" Celeste queried. -"Are you implying that S/O was bland?" The girl answered. -"Oh no, not at all." Celeste responds. "What I am meaning to say is that she didn't deserve you. You don't deserve to be with such a plain individual. Even Makoto has more personality, and he doesn't even have a talent." She corrects this with a giggle. "Oh wait, you don't know your talent either, do you?" -Makoto chimes in, trying to get Celeste to respect the dead. -Kyoko doesn't speak until the next morning. She's heartbroken that you were killed because someone didn't see what she saw in you. -When she gets to her room after the trial, accompanied by Makoto, she thanks him for escorting her to her room. -When she closes the door, tears stream down her face. She makes no sounds, but she's feeling like her chest is going tight. -She lost you. You weren't coming back. She couldn't protect you. Aoi Asahina: -When Byakuya Togami was found guilty, he's still in denial, not listening to Makoto or Kyoko when they point out every single clue that made him the culprit. -He eventually cracks under the pressure, turning to Asahina. -"Your "darling S/O" certainly didn't deserve to win this game." He spits out. "You see, they really thought that they deserved love, even from you." He sneered. -At this point, Asahina is on the brink of tears. She quietly asks him one question. -"Why did you kill them?" -"It's quite simple, so you'll understand." Byakuya begins. "They were an easy target. After all, they were stupid enough to date you. Additionally, they decided to bring my weapon to me. Imbecile." -She can't even respond to that comment. Why would dating her make you stupid? And why did you get him the weapon? -Once the execution is over with, Asahina doesn't even talk to the others. She headed straight for her room. -She can't sleep at night. You technically died because of her. All she can do is stare at her figure in the mirror, feeling nothing but despair build up within her core. Sakura Oogami: -Sakura was supposed to meet up with you and Asahina. -She was going to show up on time, but someone else had to talk to her about something. -So when she does arrive later than expected, she doesn't expect to see Asahina forcing poison down your throat. -She's rushing over to her, pleading her not to do this. -But it was too late. Your body was losing its pulse slowly. -"Why did you do that?" She painfully lets out, holding onto your hand as you were leaving. -"We had an argument, and she was saying disrespectful things about you!" Asahina admitted. -Sakura was curious. What was Asahina offended about on Sakura's behalf. -"I mean, they were saying that they made you feel loved. Wasn't it obvious that you didn't need someone that made you physically embarrassed?" Asahina explained. -Sakura didnt respond to her comment, she simply grunted and caressed your hand for your last moments alive. -You died. Her closest friend was going to be gone. All because of a disagreement. Celestia Ludenberg: -She was helping more with finding clues for the case - it was the only way she could find justice for you. -When she was in your room, she found a piece of material that she noticed that one of the students had. It was a piece of Touko's dress. -She confronted the girl with the fabric she discovered when she was with Kyoko. -"T-t-that's n-not my m-material..." She denied. -Celeste thought that maybe she wasn't sure because the other side of her committed the crime. -So she sneezes. -"What's up bitches? Missed me?" Genocider gleams. -"Enough of your introduction, tell me whether or not you committed this crime!" Togami boomed out. He knew she was at least the prime suspect. -"Oh, that gullible person that's dating madam edge lord? Yup!" She admits. "Did my lame side deny putting the poor girl over there out of the misery of dating that git? How boring." -Celeste gives a blank look at her. Touko clearly wanted her to freak out, it was obvious. -She doesn't look at the execution either. She merely looked at the reactions of Togami. She noticed a glimmer of despair in his eyes. -After the trial, she goes to her room. -She doesn't speak - she knew that nobody went out of their way for the reaction, and it wouldn't be like she was crying. -She doesn't care for interactions that much - she lost meaning when you were gone. Touko Fukawa: -When she's confronting Hagakure about killing you, he's spluttering out a series of words that didn't mean much. -"I mean, they were crazy enough to enjoy your company, right? Maybe the evidence is circumstantial and you're the killer!" He blurted out, gesturing to Touko. -The court became deathly silent. Uncomfortably silent. -Touko goes to make herself sneeze. "Is that so? They were really that crazy?" -Hagakure, being the coward he was, took back the remark. -Touko never really spoke to Togami after the trial. He never spoke up when she thought he would. He didn't care for you. It seemed like the only person who wanted justice for you was her herself. Although Makoto managed to get justice, he clearly didn't want to find out that Hagakure was the culprit. Sayaka Maizono: -Leon was the culprit for the case. -After Makoto stated how the crime was committed, the idol was shocked. You guarded her, and you unfortunately were overpowered by Leon. -Leon originally tried to argue Makoto was the killer because of the name plates, but Sayaka explained she changed them. -Leon had no arguments. -Giving up on making arguments, he turned to insults. -"You know,Sayaka. You deserved better than someone who would never appreciate you. I mean, how would your friends feel? They weren't even close to being you!" He emphasised. -"...Is that so?" Sayaka queried. "Maybe they saw something that a fan wouldn't. They saw a person." Sayaka silently stated. Only Makoto heard what she said. -"Wanna speak up?" Leon blurted out. "Maybe you did commute the crime!" -"No! That's wrong!" Makoto debated. "Sayaka cared too much about S/O to kill them like that!" -Leon reaches out to attack him, but Monokuma dragged him away. Mukuro Ikusaba: -When Makoto argued that Junko killed you, she didn't want to admit this to be true. -She wouldn't listen to his points, she simply asked Junko why. -A smirk radiated Junko's face. -"Why, because statistically, that disgusting thing was going to make you lazy. They dragged the group down. They only brought around icky hope! Yuck!" She laughs out. -Mukuro was feeling the despair that Junko loved so much, but they didn't respond to the comment. Junko Enoshima: -Sigh. The most predictable comment to have left any killers lips. -Really? S/O was boring? Why did Junko want to keep them alive until the end? -So she decides to create more despair from the situation, reeking of insults that were cleve enough to tear the culprit apart from the inside. -The look on the persons face was enough for hope boy to feel pity for the person as well. -"It's punishment time!"
