So, a few weeks ago @polariae gave me a fantastic story idea! The whole thing can be found on my AO3, but here's a snippet from it, featuring Geto having some ✨alone time✨

Suguru didn’t believe in love at first sight. No matter how strong your feelings may seem, it was impossible to fall in love with a stranger. He did, however, believe that lust had no time frame. Back at the morgue, Bruce solemnly gazes down at the woman as she lays in an unzipped body bag. He thinks, ‘Luckily, you hadn't digested your last meal, Chelsea. There're only a few places in the neighborhood where you were found that serve blueberry pie at this hour of the morning.’ He carefully zips the body bag entirely. The identification label states she was a thirty year old caucasian female. The name ‘Jane Doe’ has been scribbled out to now be replaced with ‘Chelsea Rain’. Bruce continues to ruminate, ‘You only have your thoughts and dreams ahead of you. You're someone. You mean something. I'll remember. You're within me now. Forever.’ END ID]

Okay StP fandom. I am once again working on my “Slay the Monster” AU, and this one’s going to need some context because I’m giving a second choice when entering the cabin. The Long Quiet is Stillness/Silence/Darkness/Absence, and I want to reflect that by having the basement be pitch black and putting a cabin-appropriate light source on the table, forcing you to make the active choice to bring light into the basement with you. So with that in mind…

(I don’t personally think the order you take the blade & light in should matter, nor do I think it should matter if you decide to go back for one before meeting the Monster, but they are theoretically options so…)

Note that I’m not saying I’ll adhere to this poll, I’m just trying to figure out the exact choices needed for a Voice who treat/views the Monster as more of a pet than anything else.
