Only a month had passed since she saw herself coming into a new community. Weird experience for the girl, who had not ever belonged somewhere where she felt WANTED, nor even talking about cared for. The sanctuary was not the best place she had been since the apocalypse started, and leaving her mother behind was such a relief —which she did see herself as a bad person for feeling that—. 

Coming out of the infirmary for her daily checks, she did see a wave coming from a boy she had maybe talked to ONCE. First reaction, hand high in the air and soft moved for a wave back, as she did not hesitate on walking near him.
