Nick Grant - Dreamin' Out Loud (2018) This is the first project from Nick Grant I've heard so I had no real expectations for the album. In fact I haven't even heard of him until i seen people taking about this album and I decided to check it out. My initial response to the first few tracks on the album where mediocre at best, followed by possibley the most underwhelming Dj Khalled Feature of all time. A ton of this entire project came off uninspired and just boring; but it does have moments where it shines. There are some crazy technical bars and wordplay on this album on songs like "The Switch up", "Save The Trilldren" and "Father figure". But looking back on the project, there's not much to take away from it. It's like half the album is filler tracks and the rest are mostly just ok songs with maybe 1 crazy verses per track. Overall i have a lot of mixed feelings about this project. I wouldn't say it's bad or good. It just is what it is.
