that apostrophe implies a sort of possessiveness, to be willing to let herself be just vulnerable enough to share a part of herself with other people.

to belong, to extend herself, to be a part of something as much as she lets that something become a part of her; the stability, the ease, the camaraderie, the normalcy, the... joy.

to be bonded... when she wants to be free.

to be detached from the flock by falling off like a stray feather... but a stray feather is free. is independent. is not bound to anything or anybody.

an unspoken loneliness in being nobody's. yet, it is a declaration of freedom. the protection of independence. the reclamation of personal autonomy and agency.

a choice to be made, to protect one and lose the other, in the pursuit of completeness. because there is stability, and on the other route, there is certainty.
