This is also the most beautiful version of the game we've ever done, with full-color chapter headers and interior pages by incredibly talented artists from all over the world.
For the first time ever we've also got a deluxe box of all the essential accessories players and Game Masters ask for...a brand new Oversize Action Deck, official Savage Worlds Bennies, dice, GM screen, Power and Status Cards, and more!
Tumblr media

                              Licensed settings for Savage Worlds!
Tumblr media
Just a few of our many original settings!
From the high seas to the farthest reaches of space. From undead cowboys of the Weird West to the harried soldiers of Vietnam. From the forests of Weird Wars: Rome to the post-apocalyptic wastelands of Deadlands: Hell on Earth.
Savage Worlds handles pulp action, gritty noir, supers, hard scifi, space opera, horror, and anything you can imagine!
Tumblr media
Savage Worlds hasn't changed much since it was first released in 2003, but there have been a few significant changes.
It was also time to update our graphic design, art, and size to match our current graphic novel format and showcase the incredible artists who have come on board since we began.
Tumblr media
With any new printing we try to make things better, and the Adventure Edition received the same treatment. We've been listening—literally—to tens of thousands of players and Game Masters from all over the world for more than a decade. Shane Hensley, Clint Black, and the rest of the Pinnacle team have gathered and discussed the points they've raised for years and slowly but surely gathered them into this new Adventure Edition... faster, more furious, and more fun... thanks to YOU!
Tumblr media
Previously released products are 100% playable with the Savage Worlds Deluxe core rules you may already own. For backwards compatibility, a simple conversion guide will be made available to download for free to update from Savage Worlds Deluxe to Savage Worlds Adventure Edition.
Here's a brief look at what to expect in the Adventure Edition!
Tricks and Tests of Will are now combined into the much simpler Tests. Wanna throw sand in your foe's eyes or baffle him with scientific mumbo-jumbo? YOU choose the skill, the foe tries to resist, and if successful, he's Distracted or Vulnerable until the end of his next action (and Shaken with a raise!). Work with your companions to set up the most powerful foes and see just how effective your teamwork can be!
Wanna help your friends? The new Support rule replaces Cooperative Rolls, letting players easily and creatively use any skill that makes sense to increase your allies' totals!
So long to...Charisma! All of Charisma's effects are now rolled into their specific Edges or Hindrances, creating more diverse and interesting effects and making their use far more clear.
Repeat actions! Previous versions of the game didn't allow you to take the same action twice. Now you can take up to three actions in a round at a standard "Multi-Action" penalty. Want to cast two or even three spells on your turn? Go for it! Want to fire your blaster at three different zombie aliens? It's in there too!
New Suppressive Fire rules make it much simpler, faster, and effective to keep your enemies' heads down.
Completely new Chase rules built to handle everything from battles between fleets of massive starships to foot chases through crowded city streets!
And a host of small but important tweaks to everything from Edges & Hindrances to Encumbrance, gear, powers, Setting Rules, and more!
Tumblr media
Compatibility
The game is highly compatible with previous editions. If a character has an Edge or Hindrance, for example, just look it up in the new edition and use that. Some rules are just more clear, like what constitutes an action, the difference between a round or a turn, or what a bonus applies to. Other rules are just new and won't affect anything that's come before, like being able to draw a new Action Card by spending a Benny!
We'll also be issuing a free conversion guide for those who want to be a bit more exact, so all your previous settings and adventures should be easy to run and play with only an occasional change.
If something needs a little more work, we'll take a look and post an update on the setting's webpage at www.peginc.com. It might take us a while, we have a lot of settings! But we'll get to those that really need it as we can.
What's Next?
We have lots of exciting projects in the works to take advantage of the new material in this book, including new editions of Deadlands: the Weird West, new books for Rifts® for Savage Worlds, updated versions of our Companions, and even new settings like Deadlands: Dark Ages!
Stay tuned to our regular Tuesday updates on www.peginc.com to get the latest, or click here to join our Facebook page!

Microsoft Azure Cloud Gaming Tutorial 2018 Flickstiq
Click the Search Box once again and search for netplwiz". Highlight your Username and then uncheck Users should enter a user name and password to use this computer". Click Ok" and enter your user's password when prompted (same password that you designed throughout server setup).
Search for Windows Defender". Click the settings gear and turn off true time protection. Frequency about 56 posts per week. Click on the Settings Gear on the Parsec window and open Settings. Pick Network" from the left side of Parsec. Enter 8000" for Server Commence Port. If you'd rather encounter this with someone who is a small more autonomous, or you choose your worlds to be a tiny a lot more bonkers, Far Cry five also consists of a couple of major functions: two-player on the internet co-op for the campaign, and Far Cry Arcade. Co-op has a few restrictions-the host is the only player who can handle Specialists, initiate quests, or have mission-particular progress saved. Getting unable to really advance through the campaign with each other with a buddy is a disappointing omission, but if you are happy to just be that additional Gun For Employ, there is a lot of joy to be discovered in sharing Far Cry's thrilling impromptu moments-and you can rave about it with them instantly afterward. These major shifts never signal the end of God of War as we know it, rather they permit the series' DNA to express itself in new ways. There are numerous causes why the structural transformations are a good point, but it really is what is turn into of Kratos, the hulking death machine, that leaves a lasting impression. A furious, bloodthirsty icon has transformed into a sensitive father figure. Part of him retains the old violent tendencies that created him a star long ago. Nonetheless, with his young son Atreus to defend and guide, we also see Kratos take a deep breath and bury his savage instincts in order to set a good example. More than the course of its journey, Hellblade keeps its gameplay lean in order to not overstay its welcome. Regardless of the complexity of the narrative and its presentation, combat only happens when it wants to, and puzzle solving and set-piece moments often drive the story forward to reveal much more about Senua's motivations. Which in turn reveals the struggles that torment her, stopping her from moving on. Two optional places in specific seem created with the endgame in mind. The initial, Muspelheim, delivers a series of battles in arenas surrounded by lava flows and scorched earth. Some trials are merely fights against robust enemies, even though others require you to defeat waves in swift succession-if even a single enemy remains alive, it only requires a few seconds for other folks to resurrect automatically. The other realm, Niflheim, is randomly generated each and every time you go to, but it is often filled with poisonous gas. The goal there is to survive for as lengthy as possible although racking up kills and collecting treasure, and escape before the poison requires hold. Each areas supply tense and rewarding pursuits that are only accessible if you play at your ideal. As enjoyable as those two can be, it really is Mimir that eventually steals the show. The horned, one-eyed sage accompanies you and Atreus for the majority of the game, serving as your guide to Midgard, and an inside source into the ins and outs of Norse politics. Mimir and the blacksmiths have sturdy person personalities, as with every other character you meet for the duration of the course of the game. We're keeping other identities vague in common to avoid spoilers, but regardless of who you bump into, God of War's cast is robust, convincing, and oddly enchanting. But the actual accomplishment is how, even although there are just a handful of characters to interact with, their massive personalities color your adventure with tantalizing anecdotes that draw you into the world and imbue the land with a tangible sense of history. And truly, neither does combat in general. The new over-the-shoulder camera brings you directly into the fray, and consequently limits your view. You cannot see enemies from all angles at once and need to be on guard at all times. By default the game offers proximity icons to alert you of incoming attacks, but it really is worth tinkering with the UI for a a lot more immersive encounter as you get the hang of how to download gta5 for android free full version fights flow.

Played some Savage Worlds.  Last Parsec specifically, the sci-fi setting.  Team needed a doctor, so I took a sociopathic plant person who encourages cannibalism.
...what?
Anyways, managed to survive working with the flat-tooths long enough (including sidestepping an entire combat encounter with a can of spray glue,) to die in the glorious glow of a white hole.
The light was delicious.

Note
If you’re looking for 40k without Games Workshop, and you’re using *Savage Worlds*, then *Nemezis* might be a good starting point.
If you’re looking for other space opera settings, then *The Last Parsec*, *Seven Worlds*, *High Space*, etc.
I'm not on FB but a friend sent me your post about RPGs. I'm not an expert but I am trying to launch my own game company so I've had some practice at designing settings. Is this for your own entertainment or for publishing? Do you need to emulate a specific mechanical effect, or does "close enough" work? I can help with some of these or recommend some online resources if you'd like.
I think I’m probably gonna just do something with D6 or Savage Worlds.

Savage Worlds Explorer 05
Tumblr media
Publisher: Pinnacle Entertainment
Whether you’re a college student going to the movies, a brainwashed superninja, or off to explore known worlds for JumpCorp—savage settings need intrepid explorers!
Infinite Worlds of Adventure
Savage Worlds Explorer is a continuing series featuring Savage Tales from all our settings written by new authors and industry veterans. This installment features tales by Camdon Wright, Kyle Carty, John Goff, and Sean Tait Bircher, with two scenarios which only require the core rules!
Savage Worlds: Two Birds, One Stone by Camdon Wright
Someone gunned down Sarah and Hunter Williams in cold blood. Sarah was an aspiring sculptor but paid the bills with her job as a bank teller. Hunter was a painter who spent his days building websites for other artists. It’s the cops’ job to figure out whodunit—and they might not have to look very far.
Deadlands the Weird West: The Cowboy Killer by Kyle Carty
There’s a saying about desert-dwelling life: It’ll either stick you, prick you, or kick you. The ”cowboy killer” became infamous as the absolute last thing a rider wanted to fall onto in the event that his horse threw him from the saddle.
Savage Worlds: A Familiar Problem by John Goff
A modern investigative horror scenario intended for Novice characters, in “A Familiar Problem” the investigators are retained by Alice and George Dotson to find their 26-year-old son. Lonny’s been missing for more than two days now, and it’s only a matter of time before the court finds out he’s jumped bail. If the investigators can’t find that little rat, the Dotsons will lose their home!
Rippers Resurrected: Foxed! by Sean Tait Bircher
Passing through Tokyo, the Rippers stop to assist the Tokyo Lodge and unwittingly become drawn into a horrifying scheme of revenge. A kitsune—a fox demon— stalks the Tokyo Rippers for an affront from years ago.
The Savage Worlds Explorer requires a copy of Savage Worlds core rules and may require the core books for the setting, such as Deadlands Player’s Guide and Deadlands Marshal’s Handbook. Add dice, a deck of cards, and explorers, and let the fun begin!
Meet Our Authors:
Camdon Wright is a game writer and designer who loves to tell stories, create weird games, and share a gaming table with new people. He lives in Colorado with his wife, their two kids, and a dog named Rockford. Rockford is a good dog.
Kyle Carty lives in New Jersey and balances writing, graphic design, and making wreaths for a living. He’s worked on the Deadlands: Good Intentions and Red Markets Kickstarters and has various credits with Baby Bestiary, Base Raiders, EN5ider, and more. He loves bombastic action, honobono settings, horror, and long walks on the beach.
John “Night Train” Goff is one of Pinnacle’s most prolific award-winning writers, with publishing credits for Deadlands Classic and Reloaded, Deadlands: Hell on Earth Classic and Reloaded, Deadlands Noir, The Last Parsec, and many, many One Sheets and other adventures.
Sean Tait Bircher began creating Savage Worlds fan content on his blog, Wine and Savages, in 2012. Sean has contributed to Savage Worlds Licensee products Accursed, Buccaneer: Through Hell and High Water, Olympus, Inc., Steamscapes, and Pinnacle’s Rifts® for Savage Worlds. Upcoming projects include Rifts® North America: Blood & Banes, Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay: Wrath & Glory, and The King is Dead.

How far back does one go when telling a story? I've loved savage worlds since I played it at Gottacon 2 years ago. I loved how simple it was. How it made the focus having the adventure instead of doing the math. Since then, I've run a handful of games. I loved Daring tales from the Sprawl. It was very easy to run with the experience of DMing I had. Then came along the Science Fiction Companion and the Last Parsec Kickstarter. At this point I was really really excited about running more savage worlds, but I kept putting things off.
Well, the last two pieces of the had to be the anxiety based breakdown I had last year (And shout outs to the people I was about to talk too) and the subsequent doctors visits and medication. The last and final part was reading about the last parsec adventures at https://ilive4crits.blogspot.ca/
After all that, I decided as a way of learning to deal with my anxiety again, I'm going to stop putting things off and start GMing again. No campaigns, at least not yet, just something fun and light weight. To ease back into it, I gathered a group of people for a simple instance of of School Daze since I had not even played anything in a year, and not run anything in an even longer time.
After that success, I decided it was time to get back into something with a little more structure. This was Friday. I'll admit, due to many factors, I was not nearly as prepared as I had wanted to be, but I knew if i kept using that as an excuse, I'd put it off. We decided to hand wave and bypass a bunch of stuff to just try to keep it smooth and fluid. Now that being said, I don't think I'd run an interface zero game again any time soon. Its just too much more mechanics to learn when you are not comfortable with the base game. All in all, it was a great first attempt.
Going to attempt to write this up next.
Comments
thaeus: Woohoo! I'm glad you're roleplaying again. Do you have a regular group now?
Gavin: Nope, no regular groups. I'm trying to setup a dropin style.

With a deafening roar, Dr. Zarkov’s rocket ship, with Flash and Dale aboard, shrieks into the heavens and heads straight toward the onrushing planet with a madman at the controls!
Tumblr media
We announced the Savage World of Flash Gordon™ at Gen Con in 2015, and now it's here! Drawing inspiration from Alex Raymond's original strips, the serials, AND the 1980 movie starring Sam J. Jones and Max von Sydow, this is far more than just a game, this is a definitive resource for all Flash Gordon's adventures!
Author Scott Woodard dug deep into the history of this genre-defining series, bringing every corner of the setting to vibrant life. Heroes can foment rebellion in Mingo City, marvel at the tree-cities of Prince Barin's Arboria, bake in Volcano World's Land of the Dead, and shiver in Frigia or the cruel Ice Kingdom of Naquk.
Along the way they'll encounter far more than just Ming's merciless minions! Bore worms, cave dragons, sharkons, wolvrons, and over FIFTY strange and exotic creatures roam the strange world of Mongo!
Tumblr media
Best of all, for fans of Savage Worlds, The Savage World of Flash Gordon™ features all the new powers, Edges, Hindrances, and amazing gear you've come to expect...but also an incredible new Setting Rule called...
Tumblr media
At the beginning of each session, the players are given the Cliffhanger token. When the group decides to use it, they flip it over to the CLIFFHANGER side! Everyone gets a reward of some kind--such as drawing or refilling their Bennies, or gaining Conviction (more below!). But then the situation goes from the proverbial frying pan into the fire in some way!
We'll provide a print and play Cliffhanger token online, but those of you backing the Collector's Edition Box get this amazing, polished brass version, designed by the always amazing, spaceship lovin', three-time Hugo Award™ winning artist, Cheyenne Wright!
Tumblr media
This is the design for the 4" long, polished brass Cliffhanger token that comes *only* in the Collector's Box! We'll have photos as soon as we get our production samples!
Once the Cliffhanger is in play, the GM either decideswhat happens based on the circumstances, or better yet, lets the players choose from a number of options...and we even have cards for them! They're print and play now, but keep watching the skies and we'll see what happens, heroes!
Tumblr media
Three sample Cliffhanger cards...the symbols on the upper right tell the group what they get for taking on the Cliffhanger!
Example: Flash, Dale, Hans, and Thun battle Ming's soldiers on the streets of Mingo City. Hans is out of Bennies, so another shot from the enemy's atom pistol will spell his doom! Hans' player calls for a Cliffhanger. The other players agree and they choose "Out of the Frying Pan!"
The GM tells everyone to take five while she sets up the new scene. She decides one of Ming's soldiers has thrown a grenade that cracks open the city streets. The heroes plunge into the sewers below, straight into the lair of an angry gocko and the cave men who worship it!
Tumblr media
The GM narrates: "Flash and his companions had Ming's minions on the run! Little did they know a new terror lurked beneath their very feet!"
The group faces a new challenge, but have refilled their Bennies and are ready for action!
Conviction
So what's Conviction? In Flash Gordon™, heroes earn special Bennies that add to an existing roll rather than just rerolling it! Conviction is very rare so save it for those special moments when you really need to pull off an amazing feat Mongoians will talk about for generations to come!
You get these five chips IN ADDITION to our usual set of 20 Bennies!
Tumblr media
Each set of Bennies includes five special Conviction chips!
Conviction is similar to Extra Effort in Savage Rifts® or Legend Chips in Deadlands, but only available by playing Cliffhangers in The Savage World of Flash Gordon!™
Tumblr media
The Kingdoms of Mongo is a 192-page comprehensive guide to the many diverse lands that can be found upon, above, and even within the great planet of Mongo.
This volume examines the cultures, geography, technology, and denizens of each location, presenting all the information one might need to survive beyond the safety and security of Mingo City’s thick klangstone walls and energized lightning fields.
The Kingdoms of Mongo focuses on nine individual kingdoms: Arboria, Coralia, Frigia, Kira, Radiuma, Sky City, Skyland, Tropica, and Valkr. It includes player-friendly information as well as secret material for Game Master eyes only, including new monsters, new adversaries, and all-new Savage Tales.
Tumblr media
Pack your bags, climb aboard your rocket cycle, and take to the turbulent skies! It’s time to head out and see the whole wide world of Mongo for yourself!
Tumblr media
You may have seen the amazing box sets our partners at Studio 2 created for some of our other games(available at our website and through your favorite local game store!).
Tumblr media
We're doing the same thing with  The Savage World of Flash Gordon™ AND including the Kickstarter Exclusive Cliffhanger polished brass token!
The regular, softcover editions of The Savage World of Flash Gordon™ and other accessories won't be offered in the Kickstarter, but will come to YOUR FAVORITE LOCAL GAME STORE instead.
(Note that the art on the War Rocket and Fast Pursuit Rocket maps is not completed yet...we'll debut them DURING the Kickstarter!)
Tumblr media
Here's what you get in this incredible Collector's Box Set!
A sturdy collector's box to hold all your books, dice, Bennies, and Stretch Goals!
The Savage World of Flash Gordon™ Limited Edition RPG (192-page hardcover book!)
Kingdoms of Mongo Limited Edition Sourcebook (192-page hardcover book!)
Tri-Fold Game Master Screen + 32-page Adventure "Journey to the Center of Mongo"

Here's a closer look at the dice, with custom Wild Die!
Tumblr media
And here are the custom Bennies and Conviction chips!

Savage Worlds Explorer 06

The Last Parsec: A Fistful of Ones and Zeroes
Tumblr media
Publisher: Pinnacle Entertainment
A new inmate coming to Irongate seems to have captured the imagination of most every gang and low life on the prison planet. What valuable knowledge does Gien Oh actually possess? And can the team keep her safe before any of the other gangs—or at least those who’ve got an inkling to Oh’s potential value—start a bloody highstakes bidding war?
A Fistful of Ones and Zeroes pits your heroes and scoundrels against some of the worst scum and most powerful gangs on Irongate as they protect a new prisoner at Rellex Point. As she leads them on a treasure hunt across Rellex Point and deep into the outlands, it slowly becomes clear there’s more to the treasure—and her—than she’s telling them.
A Fistful of Ones and Zeroes assumes the characters are prisoners on Irongate, and it can be inserted into the Escape Clause Plot Point or played as a standalone adventure.  This scenario is suitable for characters of any Rank, but those of Seasoned or higher have a better chance to succeed.
Written by John “Night Train” Goff, this adventure is not to be taken lightly!
*** About The Last Parsec ***
Faster-than-light travel has finally allowed humanity to spread beyond its lonely corner of the Milky Way. In the depths of space these explorers found millions of star systems, strange planets, and exotic alien races. Centuries later, they form the Known Worlds, a vital region of trade and technology where empires grow and business thrives.
It is an unparalleled age. Cutting edge science has opened limitless frontiers of space and consciousness, and has even begun to hint at the mysteries of the universe itself. But to find them, one must travel beyond the familiar, to the last parsecs of reality.
