I drew Ben! I don’t know if I really like the name “Ben Meowed”, I’m changing it because “Ben Drowned” is too morbid for this AU (ㆀ˘･з･˘). In this AU Trickster Ben is Ben’s alter ego, so they are the same person. Jeff really likes spaghetti :3 and lasagna, and pizza, and anything with marinara sauce🥫 XD. Kittypasta is officially canon, so I’ll tell ya some stuff about it. All of the crp members are cats, kittens to be exact. They stay children forever, aging halts at 13 y/o (in human years). All of them were created in a lab by Splendorman. Originally he was trying to make better cat plushies for the kids he takes care of, but things went wrong, ala chemical x Professor Utoniom. The kitties are SUPER SOFT, like chinchilla soft. That’s all I have so far, the creepypastas I’ve added so far are Jeff the Meowster (snow leopard), Dollie (leopard), Ben Meowed (orange house cat), and if Rev is okay with it I’ll add Stacy (house cat).

Spicy Italian Sausage Rigatoni with Tomato Basil Sauce 🌶️🍅🌿

This flavorful dish combines spicy Italian sausage with a rich tomato basil sauce, all tossed with perfectly cooked rigatoni pasta. Get ready for a taste explosion!

Ingredients:

1 pound rigatoni pasta 🍝

1 pound spicy Italian sausage, casings removed 🌶️

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 onion, diced 🧅

3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄

1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes 🥫

1/2 cup chopped fresh basil 🌿

1 teaspoon dried oregano 🌿

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste) 🌶️

Salt and black pepper to taste

Grated Parmesan cheese for serving 🧀

Instructions:

Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rigatoni and cook according to package directions for al dente pasta. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the sausage: While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the aromatics: In the same skillet, add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Make the sauce: Add the crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Combine everything: Return the cooked sausage to the skillet and stir to combine. Add the cooked rigatoni and toss to coat in the sauce.

Serve: Divide the pasta among plates and top with grated Parmesan cheese. Garnish with additional fresh basil if desired.

Tips:

For a creamier sauce, stir in a 1/2 cup of heavy cream after adding the crushed tomatoes.

If you don't have fresh basil, substitute with 1 tablespoon of dried basil.

Add a pinch of sugar to the sauce to balance the acidity of the tomatoes.

Serve with a side of crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce! 🥖

Aita for asking why my grandma wanted me to open a can for her?

So this happened a few years ago. My (12 at the time, nb) grandma (74 I think? F), who lives with us, had been cooking for our family for a few weeks while my mom was recovering from giving birth to my baby sister (normally mom did the cooking). Sometimes, she'd use tomato paste/tomato sauce/diced tomatoes/some other canned ingredient to make food, but she didn't know how to use the electric can opener, so she'd ask me. One day, she asked me to show her how to use the can opener herself so she didn't have to ask me. So I did. The next day, she asked me to open a can for her again. Not to show her how to use the can opener again, but to open a can for her again. I was a little confused. She just asked me to show her how to open a can herself yesterday, but now she's asking me to open cans for her again? So (after I opened the can) I asked her why she called me to open the can for her when I showed her how to do it herself the day before. She said she'd forgotten. So I said "ok" and left, not thinking much of it. I thought this was the end of the issue. But for the next few days, both my mom and dad lectured me multiple times on being respectful and listening to my elders. These lectures were (as far as I could remember) completely unprovoked, but seeing as I was already getting yelled at and I didn't want my parents to keep yelling at me, I didn't ask them what I did wrong. So, based on the timing, I assumed that my asking my grandma why she kept asking me to open cans for her was seen as so disrespectful that it warranted me getting scolded multiple times. I felt like I didn't deserve that, but considering that both of my parents scolded me for it multiple times over the next few days, I wonder whether maybe I did. Even now, some years later, I wonder whether I was really in the wrong.
