#HappyVeteransDay: Happy Veteran’s Day everyone!! Enjoy your day!! Thank you to all Veteran’s, past & present, for your service and sacrifice for serving the USA!! God Bless you all!! Saturday afternoon, I paid respects to the Stephentown veterans who served in the American Revolutionary War at a historical marker ceremony, held at the Stephentown Veteran’s Memorial Park,to commentate those who sacrificed themselves to gain their independence. #SaturdayFunday: Happy “Saturday Funday” everyone!! What did you do on this warm, beautiful day? My Saturday Afternoon was spent at the Stephentown Veteran’s Memorial Park in Stephentown,NY. It was my 1st visit to the park and I covered a special unveiling ceremony for six new roadside historical markers that honor Stephentown residents who served in the American Revolutionary War. I also viewed the historical markers, several of the Park memorials, including a bench honoring the late NYS Senate Majority Leader, Joe Bruno, and watched this cool cannon launching demonstration done by local Revolutionary War re-enactors (see video clip).
