Wait no there was one thing about across the spiderverse that did confuse me a bit tho im not sure if that was on purpose like we'll find out the answer later or if I'm just being dense but why during Miguel's flash backs was Peter b. there?

So I've been reading some Miguel O'Hara x reader fanfics,and sometimes the spanish leaves a lot to desire. That's not anyone's fault though (most of the time), I understand why some people would stick with what google translator would give you if you're going to write 2 or 3 words in Spanish. But, but, but if you want to write Miguel with a bit more long spanish sentences, specially if you want to write Mexican slang, I'm here.

This is basically an invite to everyone who doesn't know and maybe is afraid to ask a native speaker. Please ask!!, I don't bite jsjs. This is also an excuse to meet people who want to talk about the movie lol

I refuse to believe that Hobie is smooth or suave in any way. Stubborn? Yes. Cool? For sure. But he's just as much of a dork as the other spiders. I so desperately need BTSV to have a scene where he has to do a smooth recovery to hide his identity and he botches it like the rest of the Spider Band.

I know I’m coming to the party late but

The fact that there are so many variants to who Spider-Man is or can be or what leads to the decision (and, in some cases, pressure) to don the mask speaks more towards the flexibility and possibilities of the timelines and dimensions, than they necessarily do any strict checklist Miguel is talking about.

For Miguel, his mistake cost him his wellness and definitely worsened whatever preexisting issues he had. As a result, there is a proclaimed security in delivering expectations and only that — there is no room for leaps of faith. I’m short, no room for beings like Miles, whose whole transformation into Spider-Man rested on his leap of faith.

So never mind that Miguel’s focus on a big picture makes him neglect the tiny details, like the fact that a near infinite number of Spiders to draw on is bound to have commonalities. Like, say, a vigilante having a relationship of some kind with someone in law enforcement.

Or the fact that despite existing for over a year, Miles’s world has remained intact instead of experiencing near-immediate deterioration as other damaged worlds seem prone to after a handful of weeks or maybe months at the very most.

All this to say

Miguel O’Hara is doing some hardcore projecting here and needs therapy. And to take a step closer towards the picture to recognize the brushstrokes are all different.

Wouldn't it be so fucking funny if in the next movie Miles from earth 42 meets either Gwen or Spiderbyte, moves in closer, places his hand on her shoulder and with his most suave voice goes-

"Hey."

Then as the girl in question swoons, the shot moves to Miles from earth 1610 as he softly whispers "holy shit. He mastered the shoulder touch."

Every other spiderhero around Miles stares at him funny, not understanding what the fuck that "shoulder touch" is even supposed to be.

That's just a funny idea I have, since Miles 42 grew up with uncle Aaron I suppose he's a natural charmer now

Okay so, this isn't really a spoiler because it's not really about the movie's plot but if you're really strict about spoilers then don't read this.

I think there's some confusion going around about what Spot looked like as a human. like, before he became Spot, what his face was like when he was some scientist guy... I think people are saying his name was Johnathan Ohnn, right?

But I think people are confused when it comes to what Spot looks like because the movie isn't really consistent about it.

First, there's the scene where he explains his backstory to Miles. you know the one, they're at the ruins of Alchemax and like "I brought the spider to our universe!! you hit me with a bagel!! I was inside the machine when you blew it up!!" blah blah blah

But, in that flashback, Spot's human form looks like this

Okay, right? so this must be what Johnathan Ohnn looks like... right? this is what he looks like on the flashback... right???

Apparently not because then Gwen sees this picture of a scientist guy with Doc Oct (or "Liv" whatever) and we're suppoused to think that this dude is Spot

and I'm like... which is it?!?!??!?!??!!?

most people think it's the second guy, most people on Tumblr are drawing fanart of the guy with the beard and saying that's Spot's human face but...

then why does the flashback look like this?!

it's not consistent. these looks like 2 different people. which is it?!
