Satpura Tiger Reserve is located in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh in India. It is sprawled across 2200 sq km of unique eco zone that is comprised of Satpura National Park, Bori,Panchmarhi Wildlife Sanctuaries and a peripheral buffer area. The story of its inception lies ages back in the year of 1862, when the area was first explored by Captain James Forsyth of Bengal province from British ruled India.

चैतन्य भारत न्यूज होशंगाबाद. मध्यप्रदेश के होशंगाबाद जिले के बनखेड़ी क्षेत्र के जंगलों में मौजूद एक पेड़ ने नई मुसीबत खड़ी कर दी है। गांव में यह अफवाह फैलने के बाद कि महुआ के पेड़ को छूने से परेशानियां दूर होती हैं, इसके बाद से ही पेड़ को छूने के लिए भारी संख्या में भीड़ जुट रही है। बेकाबू भीड़ और प्रतिबंधित जंगल क्षेत्र में घुसने के कारण पुलिस प्रशा��न ने 2 दिन पहले यहां प्रतिबंध लगा दिया था। लेकिन अंधविश्वास ने लोगों को ऐसा जकड़ लिया कि बेताब भीड़ ने पुलिस पर ही पथराव कर दिया। इस घटना में आधा दर्जन से अधिक पुलिसकर्मी घायल हो गए। (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({});

टीआई के सिर में आई चोट सूत्रों के मुताबिक, बनखेड़ी टीआई शंकरलाल झरिया के सिर में पत्थर से चोट आई है। दरअसल, कुछ दिनों पहले ही कुछ लोगों ने यह अफवाह फैलाई थी कि जंगल में लग��� महुआ के पेड़ को छूने से सभी प्रकार की शारीरिक परेशानियां समाप्त हो जाती हैं। पेड़ में किसी दैवीय शक्ति का वास है। इसलिए रविवार और बुधवार को यहां लोगों का हुजूम उमड़ने लगा। आज भी बुधवार होने के कारण हजारों लोग महुआ पेड़ स्थल पर पहुंच रहे थे, जब उन्हें जाने से रोका गया तो भीड़ ने पुलिस पर पथराव किया। साथ ही गांव वालों ने सरकारी गाड़ियों में तोड़फोड़ कर टेंट में आग लगा दी। हालात इतने उग्र हो गए कि स्थिति से निपटने के लिए अतिरिक्त फोर्स बुलाया गया। स्टेशन रोड टीआई सतीश अंधवान की सूझबूझ से बड़ी घटना होने से टल गई।

बफर जोन में स्थित है पेड़ बता दें महुआ का ये पेड़ सतपुड़ा टाइगर रिजर्व क्षेत्र के बफर जोन में है। साथ ही जंगल में लोगों क��� इतनी बड़ी संख्या में पहुंचने से पेड़ों को भी नुकसान पहुंच रहा है। लेकिन लोगों की आस्था कम नहीं हो रही है। भारी भीड़ के कारण जंगल में ट्रैफिक जाम के हालात बन रहे हैं। आईजी, डीआईजी के साथ तमाम पुलिस अधिकारी लोगों को समझाने की भी कोशिश कर रहे हैं, लेकिन लोग किसी भी तरह की बात सुनने तैयार नहीं हैं।

ऐसे शुरू हुआ अंधविश्वास का खेल बनखेड़ी क्षेत्र के नया गांव निवासी रूप सिंह ने बताया कि, एक महीने पहले नवरात्रि के वक्त वो इस महुआ के पेड़ के नीचे से गुजर रहा था। तभी पेड़ ने उसे अचानक अपने पास खींच लिया। वो 10 मिनट तक पेड़ से ही चिपका रहा। जब उसने पेड़ को छोड़ा तो उसे कुछ समझ नहीं आया। लेकिन उसके बाद से ही उसकी सभी शारीरिक परेशानी दूर हो गई। फिर वो करीब पांच बुधवार और रविवार को उस पेड़ के पास आया और उसके बाद वो बिलकुल ठीक हो गया। रूप सिंह ने यह बात गांव वालों को बताई इसके बाद से ही यहां लोगों का आना-जाना लगा है। यह भी पढ़े... एक अनूठा कल्पवृक्ष, जिसमें हमारे शरीर में आवश्यक 8 अमीनो एसिड में से 6 पाए जाते हैं Read the full article

A view of the Satpura Reserve Forest. The terrain of the national park is extremely rugged and consists of sandstone peaks, narrow gorges, ravines and dense forests. It is rich in biodiversity. The animals here include leopard, sambar, chital, Indian muntjac, nilgai, four-horned antelope, Chinkara, wild boar, bear, black buck, fox, porcupine, flying squirrel, mouse deer, and Indian giant squirrel. There are a variety of birds. Hornbills and peafowl are common birds found here. Jatashankar (also Jata Shankar) is a natural cave and Hindu shrine located north of Pachmarhi, in Hoshangabad district, Madhya Pradesh, India. Jatashankar is located in a deep ravine with enormous boulders perched above. The cave contains stalagmites which are revered as naturally formed lingams. The cave serves as a shrine to the God Shiva and is a popular destination for pilgrims. Jata means hair and Shankar is another name of Lord Shiva. There are two ponds fed by springs found in the locality, one of cold water and the other one of hot water. The cave structure resembles to a hundred head snake named Sheshnag a mythological character.
