Dear Pokemon writers,

I was perfectly content with Ash never growing up and never really falling in love... until you aired JN138 (Satoshi VS. Kasumi! Seaside One-On-One!).

Now, there are two episodes left of Ash's reign. Maybe just one with Misty. I've refallen in love with the original trio and Ash and Misty's dynamic.

And all I want now is a hand holding moment or a sweet comment and blush that would lock Pokeshipping in as canon. No more of the cyptic hints! Concrete evidence please!

I don't really need a happily ever after - just enough to reassure me that I am not insane for believing they belong together for the 20+ years I've been shipping them!!

Did you know Ash x Misty already happened

Yeah this was the first movie promo with an older Misty with her daughter who is presumably asking about Ash.

Now I don’t know how pink hair is made in general or how you get blue eyes from Misty’s green eyes but have you seen Misty’s sisters lol but yeah this implies Misty and Ash got together and had her

This is a scrapped concept obviously but shows how behind Ash x Misty the anime team was that they even animated this

Granted it was original series there was no idea it would have blown up to be this big and have gone on for how long it has

Pokeshipping got eclipsed by the more recent ones like Pearl and Amour but just a reminder Misty was first and in an alternate world, they are both adults with a kid

Not even really a shipper (I do have a preference though)

But I just thought it was fun to bring this up with all the talk about if the new protagonist is Ash’s kid happening now with the new series announcement and how a lot is debating between Dawn or Serena

But Misty did technically have a kid with Ash first lol

I won’t do analysis and long explanations as usual, just a list full of amazing couples. 

I obviously like many other ships: I multiship as hell and I barely hate any ship in particular. Feel free to ask my opinion about any pairing—I like to talk about this stuff. I didn’t include X&Y because I can’t think of any ship that I love more than others, I have some ships but can’t really choose between them; I didn’t include the current series either because it isn’t over (and I don’t have any otp with those characters at the moment anyway).
