Yoggus is basically a corruption/loosely based on Madou variant of Yog-Sothoth, just as the Madou games have had… well, Satan himself and various creatures from both European and Japanese folklore.

So yes, there is a high chance Ex met this thing (provided Yoggus hadn't been booted out of canon by SEGA).
