Kiss the Rain
Link: https://m.fanfiction.net/s/11520508/1/Kiss-the-Rain Pairing(s): SasuHina, ItaHana implied Rating: K Author's Notes: Please excuse my lack of title creativity. Kiss the Rain is actually an instrumental song. All ye people who watch k-drama should know this song. Go listen! I had this idea when I played the piano. I'm not a musician so I don't know if I interpret your music right. Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto sadly . . . . . Not many people knew that the high school heartthrob, Uchiha Sasuke could play the piano. He's an expert in it, in fact and he's proud of it. He never really did have a proper piano lesson. It's what you may call a natural talent. It was his mother, Mikoto, who had introduced him to the beautiful instrument. He was seven when his mother first taught him her favourite song. His elder brother, Itachi, had learned it a few years before him but his passion lies on the guitar. In his teen years, Itachi had joined a band named 'the Akatsuki'. They had band gigs almost every Saturday, they were indeed famous. And Sasuke would usually follow to their practice. It fascinates him how well they could play. They were good, exceptionally good. It's a shame that they disbanded as soon as they were off to collage. The whole reason he learned how to play the instrument was because of his mother's passion in music. He had asked his mother why she learnt to play instrument when he was a little boy. "Because it brings joy to both the player and the listener," his mother told him as she closed the piano lid. She leaned forward to kiss his forehead. "One day when you get older, you'll understand." At that age, Sasuke could only stare back at her with confusion written on his face. Maybe his mother was right. He just could not understand it. Yet. So why did Sasuke continue to play the piano? Was it just for the sake of his mother? No, he did not think so. Why? It's in fact a good question. What made him continue? Is it even worth learning to play one? He knew that girls love bad boy and musicians. Sasuke shuddered at the thought of girl asking him to play a song for them. Never in a million years. The young Uchiha went back to his mother's words. From what he had observed, music really did bring joy to people. The smile on his mother's face as her nimble fingers flew across the keys as she played her favourites. That somewhat happy look on Itachi's face as he strummed the guitar strings. He didn't understand why he couldn't feel the same emotions as them. Heck, even Itachi felt it! The last he checked, he's a human not a robot. So why can't he feel the same emotions as them? These questions had been left answered – haunting him as years passed by. That is until a certain timid and shy Hyuuga caught him playing the piano after school had ended. Sasuke was so sure that the whole student body – save for some of the teachers – had gone home. He didn't know why but his legs moved on their own accord to the school hall where a beautiful brown piano was placed. He ran his fingers along the smooth, polished lid and lifts it open. He sat on the stool and begins to play. The melody itself was sad, yet beautiful. It was best described as his life. the questions he asked himself everyday. His insecurities – yes, Uchiha Sasuke does feel insecure at times. Music was the only way to describe his emotions best. One could feel his emotions as he poured his heart out through the melodies he played. "That was beautiful," a soft voice echoes through out the hall. Sasuke turned his head sharply towards the voice. He was secretly glad that it wasn't one of his fan girls – or any of his friends in that matter. It was just Hyuuga Hinata, his childhood friend. "G-gomen, Sasuke-kun," the timid Hyuuga apologised; her face was as red as a tomato. "I just h-happened to pass by. I-I didn't mean to interrupt you." Sasuke gave her one of his rare smiles as he stood up and closed the lid. "It's fine Hinata," he said. "Why didn't you go home right after school ends?" The blush on her face turned a different shade of red. "I just p-passed up th-the work Kakashi-sensei g-gave us." He chuckled softly. "I'll walk you home then." And that, my friend, was the beginning of a new chapter in Sasuke's life. The dark haired boy wasn't sure when he made a promise with Hinata to meet up almost everyday at the hall. Nevertheless, it was a good change in his daily routine. Usually he would teach her to play the piano – she's cute when she furrows her eyebrows and bit her lip in concentration. At other times she would just listen. They were the kind of people who doesn't need words to speak. Sometimes silence – and in their case music – speaks more than words. Hinata was a fast learner. It only took her one week to master the piano with only her right hand – she's still learning how to synchronize both her hands. Sasuke did enjoy playing piano with her. This was the reason why he asked her to join him to play with him at his brother's wedding. He had to admit the wedding was truly beautiful. The moon was high, shining down on the small pond in the garden, making the rest of the Uchiha compound glow. Lanterns had been hung in all the trees and they swung in the faint wind. The paths were lined with tiny glowing crystals – Sasuke had no idea who did that but he had a faint idea that was his mother doings. The whole wedding ceremony had gone by in a blur: vows, flowers, candlelight, Hana's happy face, the glow in Itachi's eyes. It was a small wedding. Only family and close friends were invited – even some of his friends were there as well with their families. Someone had placed a beautiful piano in the corner and his mother was at the ivory keys of the piano, filling the garden with the sounds of jazz. A moment later, Mikoto asked to take over her place, claiming she was too old to continue. Hinata who was taking to him, giggled as Sasuke made a face. "Come play with me," he said. "B-but I'm not that g-good," she protested. Sasuke, being Sasuke ignored her and pulled her along to the piano. Itachi raised a glass of champagne towards his direction with that annoying smirk plastered on his lips. I'm going to kill him. "I hope you remember how to play 'Kiss the Rain'. It's your favourite after all," he pointed out. The Hyuuga nodded. "But I only remember the right hand side." "Ready?" he asked and begins counting silently to three. They played the song together – Sasuke the left side, Hinata the other. Maybe this was what his mother meant by music brings joy. In those few months teaching and playing the piano with her, he had never felt this happy. Just by sitting beside her as he played the song with her, he was glad he could share his passion with her.

Hinata wonders what mountains and forests and forests are like while Sasuke can only imagine the things that go on underneath the ocean surface. Neither can ever really know, but talking to each other is better than nothing.

SasuHina month - D/31 { Family }.
It is part of a doujinshi that I'm making.
Actually I only have this pages, but I promise I'll finish it soon. It's based on Boruto manga One-Shot, when Naruto becomes Hokage. Obviously, SasuHina's version. ;)
This month was very fun, thanks to everybody, especially to the organizers. <3

Sasuhina month day 31 - family
When she’d first invited him over for dinner with her family, he’d only agreed because he thought it was going to be a nice, quiet meal with her mother and father. He couldn’t have been more wrong. As it turned out, Hinata was nothing like the rest of her family. Her father sat disgusted at the head of the table, staring the boy’s dark eyes down. Sasuke sniffed and looked away. Hinata had lost her mother at a young age, which probably explained why she grew up feeling like the matriarch in such a hostile family. She had a little sister who chewed with her mouth open, and a plethora of aunts, uncles, and distant cousins. Her actual cousin sat at his right, thoroughly enjoying the sight before him. His girlfriend was seated on his left, shooting him apologetic looks between her sips of tea. He shrugged and straightened his posture. “This tea is lovely.” He lied, baffled that they actually drank this shitwater. “It’s imported from the land of earth.” Hanabi blurted from a mouthful of rice. That would explain why it tasted so vile, he supposed. He gave her an acknowledging nod, at least someone had something to say to him that wasn’t an insult or threat. Hiashi kept opening and closing his mouth, smacking his lips around an empty mouth. “Why are you here?” He suddenly asked. Hinata gave her father an unamused shake of the head and Sasuke cleared his throat. “I’ve been courting your daughter for the past few months now,” “And?” Hiashi prodded. “Well,” He admitted, flashing his band with a raise of his teacup. “I just thought you’d like to have at least one good dinner with your future son in law before you’ll have to come all the way over to the Uchiha residence.” The rest of her family watched horrified as Sasuke slipped his ring over to Hinata’s dainty finger. He grinned, he couldn't wait until she met his side of the family. nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnm Last minute goodbye to the best month of the year! So happy for all the love this crackship gets <33

I...I don't know what to say to be honest. I've been working on a fic this year, instead of a full drawing, because I haven't written in like 5 years. But I underestimated how long it would take and how busy I would be, and I gave this project 2 weeks.
Anyway, I made a story for the Elf AU that I loved so much and the whole thing will be posted on AO3 here (I have a few chapters left and I will upload it in its entirety. There's some parts I'm not entirely happy with but I needed to get passed them to the parts I really wanted to write. I have about 5 or 6 chapters more, and they're all really long.)
I'm not sure what I wanted to achieve with this work, I mostly just wanted to create this world and relationships. The story itself is mostly Hyuuchiha family feels, with SasuHinaItaNeji.

Happy SasuHina Month!!
I’ve been waiting for this day! I made this fanart some days ago but I was waiting to publish it on “Music/Art” cause is a sketch for my new fanfic in which I’m still thinking about how to develop it. lol
I’ll explain.
Sasuke is in a rock band, he’s the bassist. His band plays music like this:
{ https://youtu.be/iFzpirKmMUs }
Although I’m still thinking in the others members of the band. lol (Note: I’m not relying on the personality of the original band.)
And Hinata belongs to a group of J-electro-pop, like this:
{ https://youtu.be/nbeGeXgjh9Q }
You can guess which member inspired me to make Hinata.
And… That’s all. lol Hope you like it.

Drunk Nights and City Lights
She could hear the sound of car sirens and booming nightlife from outside the taxicab window. With city lights glaring down intimidating streets with vapid party goers waltzing into vapid scenes of glamour and picturesque movie screen life, the excessive scent of cheap perfume mixed with a bad aftertaste of expensive liqueur was making her head nauseous.
“Boyfriend drink too hard? Party too much?”
The cab driver, thick framed and heavy set, spoke with such jovial laughter the entire car was sharking from the boom of his voice.
“H-he’s not my boyfriend...” she timidly said.
“Oh, I see.”
Through the rear view mirror, the cab driver could see her obvious discomfort; head turned and eyes averted away from the unconscious man leaning his disheveled, raven hair across her shoulder. He stirred in his drunken slumber and let his head lull forwards, dropping suddenly onto her lap.
She gave a tiny yelp and jumped in her seat.
“Well, the young man must be happy to have you.”
She only nodded halfheartedly, not the least bit convinced by the wise taxi driver’s words. She was certain that, in his profession, he had seen many wanderers and talked to many souls, interacted with so many characters. And yet, still, she could not fully believe in his words, that, the man sleeping so comfortably on her lap was any less happy in that moment whether it be her picking him up from a customary business meeting or someone else.
Even if it had not been a coincidence that it was her phone that rang at one o’ clock in the morning, and it had not been pure chance that it was her number he had remembered when leaning half unconscious against a half broken payphone, she could not believe he was any happier. Because even if he could still utter her name after so many years and could sing - off tune - his favorite song that she always wanted to hear, there was little she could rationalize to herself that he was happier with her.
Because once upon a sometime, when they had been younger, he had insisted that her happiness was his happiness, and that her sadness was his. And as cliched and trite as that declaration may have been, he had been (and still was) a cliched and trite man.
She scoffed, though it sounded more akin to a timid sneeze.
Knowing how the disarray of city life seemed to blind her as it blurred from outside of the window, every so often she could still catch a glimpse of her reflection in the darkness. She wondered which was more cowardly, the fact that she had only willingly come to his aid when he was too drunk to even remember it was her who helped him, or the fact that she had avoided any form of conversation or contact with him for eleven years.
“So you said 200 East Konoha Street, correct?”
The cab driver took a right off of the main boulevard, the city lights and music disappearing behind them.
“Yes.”
Even away from the blinding neons and glowing florescents, the moon and the stars refused to come out of hiding, disappearing behind a blanket of dark.
“Is this where you live?”
Despite her pallid complexion under the incandescent street lamps lining the well paved sidewalks, her soft features and pensive, contemplative stare matched well with the rows of old Victorians in one of the city’s most affluent neighborhoods. Eyes so pale and luminescent, the cab driver wondered if he had ever seen her face on a television screen or magazine editorial.
“No,” she spoke with such solemn conviction.
The car pulled up to a large two story home, dark brick, iron gated; isolated entirely from the blinding city lights and city noise. It was a castle, but she wasn’t its princess.
“It’s where his wife lives.”
Out stepped a woman, wrapped entirely in a silk and lace night gown, with glowing skin and bright emerald eyes; the cab driver had a look of disbelief and instant recognition. The woman in the back of the taxi cab could only hide her face further behind her bangs.
He stirred in her lap, face nuzzling deeper into her abdomen when he took in a long breath that made her skin feel hot, his fingers gripped tightly onto her wrist. Her lips drew in a sullen smile that seemed to only add elegance to her delicate expression. She wondered when what had only been a mundane gesture of comfort, had become such a desperate indication of yearning.
“Wake up,” she cooed softly, “You’re home.”
And when he only seemed to hold onto her tighter, pulling her warmth tighter to him, it took every ounce of her to not sit there and cry. Because she was supposed to hate him, and he was supposed to be happier without her.
Day 14: Hinata hates Sasuke
I don’t even know what this is...I tried to art/comic this but I lack skill... so I hope you enjoy this craptastic story xD T_T

SasuHina Month - Day 5 & 6: Birthdays & Blankets
I know this is very late (-_-)
Close to Home
The pitter-patter of little feet hitting the hardwood floor echoed lightly until it came to a stop. The rustling of sheets and a few grunts and a soft weight landed on his chest.
“Papa.. Papaaa” Kōu pushed his father’s cheeks together in an attempt to wake him up but it just got him frustrated. Kōu pouted and wiggled over to his mother. He gently poked he cheek to see if she was awake but she did not respond. He looked back over to his father but he too was still asleep so he settle for being in-between the both of them. Hinata and Sasuke peeked and stared at each other before spotting their son nestled between them. Today was Kōu’s 4th birthday and he was excited, Hinata had the entire day planned but it seemed the little munchkin woke up a bit too early for their liking. Sasuke gently draped his arm across them and pulled them close. He didn't get a lot of time with his family when he was in the navy but now that he was back home he was going to make up for lost time. He knew Hinata didn't hold anything against him for being away for so long but he wanted to make it up to the both of them. Hinata rubbed his arm and squeezed it gently letting him know that everything will be fine. She leaned over and kissed him on his forehead and the top Kōu’s before she got of bed and made her way to the bathroom. Meanwhile Sasuke kept his arm over his son making sure he stays warm.
By the time, the boys got out of bed Hinata had already had and bath and made their breakfast favourites. As she set the plates down Sasuke walked down the stairs with Kōu wide-awake in his arms. Hinata went around the counter and scooped him up from Sasuke.
“Happy Birthday my little munchkin!” Hinata giggled through while squishing his face to hers. Sasuke chuckled in the background while his son giggled from his mother. She put him on his chair and kissed Sasuke on his cheek before setting down his cup of coffee.
“So are you excited to spend the day with Papa?”
“Yes! Are you sure you can’t come Momma?”
“I’m afraid so sweetie but I’ll be here when you get back… hurry up now you two, you need an early start.” The two of them saluted to her before going back to gobbling up their breakfast. Hinata laughed at the two them before heading to get his backpack.
“Hinata, we're ready to go.”
“Okay, be careful you two. Oh here’s his backpack and have fun.”
“Bye-bye Momma.”
“Good Bye sweetie, have fun.” Sasuke came up to her and kissed her chastely.
“Bye Momma.” Hinata blushed and pecked him back.
“Goodbye Papa.” Hinata watch them drive off before going back inside. She tied her hair into a tight bun and changed her shoes to a comfortable pump.
“Time to get to work.” Hinata moved like lighting in the house, from cooking to cleaning the place. Sasuke and Kōu went to the amusement park for the day. Kōu went on every ride he set his eyes on and ate whatever he liked. By the end of it all he was tired but still had enough energy to pull his dad to the games to win mummy a teddy bear since she couldn’t come and maybe one for him too. They got home around five in the evening but the house seemed somewhat dark. Sasuke became suspicious but soon notice a faint glow from the window. As they opened the door, they noticed that the house had been turn into a blanket fort. Kōu squealed in delight. His fatigue from before long forgotten as he ran into the fort. Sasuke chuckled and followed him curious to what else his wife been up to. As they neared closer to the light, the fort opened up to reveal a picnic like setting in the middle.
“Welcome Home.” A smile worth living for. Is what Sasuke thought as he watched his wife hug their son. “Did you two have fun?”
“Lots of fun Momma, look! Papa won teddies for us.” Hinata laughed and hugged him. Sasuke took this chance to take both of them I his arm for a ‘bigger hug ‘as Kōu puts it.
“Time for… Cake!!!” Hinata nudged Kōu to the cake while they sang happy birthday. Kōu blew out the candles and laughed. After the full day he had, Kōu quickly fell asleep as he was listening to stories. Hinata tucked him into bed while Sasuke cleaned up. When she came back into the kitchen, he was not there. Hinata crawled back into the fort to look for him, she saw him there waiting for her with a glass of her favourite wine.
“Your fort building amazes me.” Hinata blushed and took the glass from him.
“Why thank-you Captain I did learn from the best.” She said with a cheeking smile across her face. Sasuke took the glass from her and laid it down. He pulled he her towards himself and gently kissed her.
“You know this is a lot like our first time together.” Sasuke whispered into her neck as he kissed her.
“Hmm… True.”
“We should not break tradition.” Sasuke nipped at her skin and she gasped, Hinata rubbed her thighs together as he drew circles on her lower back and hummed into appreciation.
“Yes a… a very bad i-idea.” Sasuke smirked against her lips before capturing them in his own.

Perfectionist
He supposed he’s always saved his favorites for last.
For as long as he could remember, he’s had a habit of painstakingly picking around his favorite food. Only when the rest of the regular meal was gone would he then move on to the prized item.
This habit managed to manifest itself in other aspects of his life. For instance, to exercise self discipline and increase productivity, he would force himself to complete important tasks early in the week. This allowed him to thoroughly enjoy his time off without worrying about responsibilities.
He was certain this ideology heightened his enjoyment from life, no matter how minimal that was.
Of course, not any one mindset was meant to be applicable to everything.
It failed him in his love life.

Team Shy - Pokemon AU -
hinata struggles to challenge sasuke’s gym and ends up using underhanded menthods to win.
PART 1
It was Hinata's third attempt.
Her breathing was still as heavy as the first time she'd braved the front entrance of the gym. She was shaking, face red and sweaty.
Beside her, Shisa gave an impatient whine.
“Bad juju,” she said, slowly crumpling to her knees to hold the Espeon to her chest.
Niya, however, was absolutely delighted. Her flames flickered from blue to ultra violet as she bounced about and cried out in glee,“Wick!”
Samekichi at least was sympathetic to his trainer's plight.
“Perhaps we should try again another day?”
Hinata was nose-deep in Shisa's lavender fur when his voice flashed through her mind. She shook her head. “N-No, no, no, no! I have to f-face my fears!”
The look on the Gallade's face was uncanny to Neji's. Fitting, since Samekichi was once his.
“Please breathe, at least.”
Hinata took a gulp of air and choked. “I-” She coughed. “I-I'm totally fine! Roaring to go!”
Samekichi exchanged a flat look with Kiki. With a roll of her eyes, the Gothorita floated over to her trainer, who was now rocking back and forth with Shisa in her lap.
“We're going back. This is pathetic.”
Hinata winced and clutched her head. Telepathy was draining, even after all the training and meditation. Two voices in her head was difficult to handle, especially under duress. She was starting to feel dizzy.
Samekichi glared at Kiki. Without another word (spoken or otherwise), the pokemon lifted Hinata to her feet with a gentle hand around her elbow. He shook his head.
“B-But-”
“Gallade,” he said with a pointed glance at the pokemon center.
A voice stopped them.
“Are you ever going to challenge my gym?”
Hinata froze.
A man stood at the door. Dark eyes appraised her, patronizing and cold. It was sunny outside, but it was dark where he was. Fitting, she would suppose if she wasn't out of her damn mind. Shadows played across his face. There was a distant cry from the inside of the gym. Her pulse roared in her ears, her heart slamming against her ribcage with brutal force.
One of the first things Professor Kurenai taught her was to trust her instincts, as a trainer and a Psychic-type trainer. Hinata wasn't a Psychic. She couldn't tell fortunes or the future (though more than one Psychic trainer on the road had tried to swindle her with tarot cards and horoscopes).
Rather, she was receptive to telepathy from Psychic pokemon, her instincts were sharper, and her mind could deal with the stress of being around Psychic pokemon. Psychic pokemon were notorious for their strength in battle but also for being difficult to train. Over time, an undisciplined trainer with Psychic pokemon could suffer mental and psychological problems, even brain damage. Having a full, six-player team of Psychic pokemon was exceedingly rare. Only the best of the best could handle it.
Now, her instincts were going wild, demanding that she leave the man's presence immediately.
“Bad juju,” she murmured, leaning on Samekichi. “Bad juju,”
The man scrutinized her before a light sparked in his eyes. He sneered. “Oh? A psychic team?”
Niya fluttered to Hinata's side and fanned her flames threateningly.
He smiled a cruel smile as he stared the Litwick down. “A psychic with a Ghost-type. You don't plan on facing my gym with a team weak against dark-types, do you?”
Kiki hissed and latched onto Hinata's side. She stared at Samekichi, blue eyes glowing. They were using telepathy, careful not to let Hinata in. Still, she caught Kiki's snarled, “I don't like him!”
Something felt off, worse than it already felt.
“Roll-call!” Hinata shouted in panic.
“Gallade,”
“Gothorita,”
“Litwick,”
They paused.
Then, “Where's Shisa?”
“Here,” The man said. In his arms was one struggling Espeon. Shisa hissed and fought, but it was futile.
“Trainer,” he said. “Challenge my gym if you want her back.”
With a dramatic whirl of his cape, he was gone.
lllll
“The gym leader kidnapped my pokemon!”
“It's not like you needed Shisa for this battle anyway,” Kiba said. “Psychic attacks wouldn't do any damage anyway,”
“How cruel,” Hinata slammed her fist on her lap. “Would you say the same thing if that happened to Akamaru?”
“No. I would go straight to his gym and kick his ass,”
She heard some shuffling and static before Kiba was shoved out of the screen. Shino appeared on her phone screen and sighed. “I apologize for Kiba's insensitivity and lack of tact,”
“Hey!”
“However, I also recommend challenging the gym,” Shino held up a placating hand before she could protest. “I understand that all trainers have a gym that they want to avoid. I went through hell getting through Itachi's gym. Literally,”
She nodded in understanding. Shino's bugs barely made it through the Fire-type leader's gym.
“D-Damn the Uchiha brothers,” she said miserably.
Uchiha Itachi was one of the kindest people she'd ever met in her life. He was in charge of the second gym in the circuit, not because he was weak, but because he treated inexperienced, often times younger trainers gently but fairly and never crushed their confidence.
Uchiha Sasuke, however, was in charge of the final gym for a reason; he was ruthless. The League had to request that Sasuke use three pokemon instead of five because none of the trainers could get past him.
He was in the books for single-handedly reducing trainer traffic to Victory Road. He had a nasty personality to boot, and the only redeeming factor he had was his handsome face.
“Miss Hyuuga,” Nurse Joy called.
“I'll be there in a minute!” Hinata said. She looked down at the screen and gave a weak smile. “Thank you for listening. I have to go,”
“Good luck, Hinata,”
“Beat his ass, girl!”
Click.
She went to the counter, where Nurse Joy smiled and handed her a tray with a single pokeball in it. “His water supply is back in order, but please be careful and let him rest,”
“Yes. Thank you so much,”
“You're very welcome.”
Hinata walked up the stairs to her room. The rooms in the pokemon center were small and designed to fit several trainers in one. Her room had a series of triple-decker beds against the wall and a small communal bathroom at the end of the hall.
Luckily, her room was empty for now. Kiki was preening in the small vanity mirror by the bed, Samekichi was meditating, and Niya was eating some berries.
The pokeball in her hand had grown warm from the heat in her palms.
“Yatagarasu,” she whispered. Then she opened the pokeball.
The Starmie's jewel pulsed. “Star,”
He sounded hoarse and sleepy.
“You – You're okay? How are you feeling? Are you hungry? Niya, share some berries,”
“Wick,” she whined. She set the berries on fire.
“Sharing is caring!”
“Litwick!” She greedily stuffed the burnt berries into her mouth.
“Star,” Yata said softly.
“You sure you're okay?” Hinata set him down on the bed and fussed over the pillows. “I'm sorry for making you overdo it at the last gym. But thanks to you, look at what we won!”
She popped open the case and showed him the badge.
Yata settled against the pillows with a satisfied hum.
Gaara's Ground-type gym had done a number on Yata. Yata was her starter and the strongest player on her team. Even if Samekichi didn't take double damage from Dark-types, he had joined the team later. He was strong, but not as experienced or in sync with her as Yata was.
First was Yata, then Shisa, then Kiki, then Samekichi, and finally, Niya.
She'd found Yata on a blistering hot day in her early days. Then a Staryu, he'd been lying on the shore surrounded by broken pokeball pieces. Evidently, he'd put up a fight against another trainer, but ultimately ended up wiped out and left drying in the sun.
Yata hadn't been any more interested in being Hinata's pokemon, so she'd healed him up and returned him to the sea. She wasn't going to force him to do anything. A few days later, he'd appeared and silently tapped a pokeball open. Yata had mellowed out dramatically since then but still worked in mysterious ways. It made Hinata wonder if Staryu and Starmie really were aliens.
Shisa came as the result of being lost in the forest for several weeks. Someone had been leaving Hinata and Yata berries and mushrooms. That someone turned out to be a cheerful little Eevee. It didn't take much work to make friends with her.
Kiki took a lot of work. She was as thorny and vicious then as she was now. She had sent Hinata and the team to the hospital at their first encounter and they all had the scars to prove it.
Apparently, Kiki had been causing trainers traveling that route grief and was preventing them from progressing. Hinata challenged Kiki again and offered the then-Gothita a compact mirror if she would stop terrorizing trainers. The mirror was a pretty thing, decked out in rhinestones and detailing and had completely suckered Kiki. From then on, part of Hinata's budget went into financing Kiki's need for pretty things.
Samekichi was a gift from Neji. The Hyuuga clan was renowned for its fighters. Figures that Hinata would be the black Mareep that had an affinity for Psychics instead. Samekichi was the offspring of one of Neji's team. Neji had also given her a Dawn stone so that the Ralts would evolve into a Gallade. Gallades were dual-type Psychic and Fighter. The best of both worlds, Hinata thought fondly. As gentlemanly and easy-going as he was, it turned out Samekichi had somehow inherited Neji's overprotective streak.
Last was Niya. Niya was an accident. A happy mistake, Hinata preferred. She needed to get some training done but the only place to do it was at the Haunted Manor. She'd been in a state similar to how she'd been today. Ghosts gave her and her team intense creeps. Niya had slipped into her bag. The Litwick had sniffed out the berries on her and decided that that was good enough deal to join the team.
She felt something at her waist and saw Yata poking her belt, where Shisa's empty pokeball was. “Star?”
“That punk gym leader took her!” Kiki snapped.
Yata's jewel flickered in alarm.
“C-Calm down! You shouldn't work yourself up, not when you're still recovering,” Hinata sighed. “We need to strategize.”

Options
Kiki's handwriting was big and messy, but legible enough. Hinata nodded for her to go on.
Give up.
“That's never an option,” Hinata said gravely and put a line through it.
If she ever wanted her father and her entire family to acknowledge her as a mighty and powerful trainer (which she very much wanted), then she had to complete the gym circuit. “And we're not abandoning Shisa,”
Samekichi gently moved Kiki away from the paper. His handwriting was much neater and very pretty to look at.
Add a new team mate.
Niya whined.
Hinata shook her head. She knew as well as the little candle-pokemon that the town was surrounded by mountains and water – a natural fortress.
“I won't have Yata Surfing in his condition and you know Surfing makes Niya sick, even in her pokeball,” She chewed her lip, dark brows furrowed. “Who knows how long hiking through the mountains will take? Shisa's probably terrified by herself,”
Niya's candlelight flashed from violet to blue. “Wick, litwick!”
Samekichi nodded and turned to Hinata. “She says we should train,”
“But do any of you learn any new moves that we can use against him?”
At their defeated silence, she crossed that out too.
Kiki shoved Samekichi away and snatched the pen and paper.
Seduce the little shit.
“Kiki!” she scolded.
Kiki shrugged and gestured to her trainer's chest. She made more gestures, each one lewder than the last.
“O-Okay, I know,” she muttered. Hinata was well aware that it wasn't her sparkling personality that got other trainers to give her a ride via Fly.
Samekichi made a disgruntled noise, ruby eyes glaring at the Gothorita.
“Master Neji would not approve of this,”
“Master Neji isn't here,” Kiki sing-songed and waved her hand flippantly.
“Even if that worked,” Hinata began slowly. “What then?”
Next to the most recent item on the list, Kiki quickly scrawled out,
Buy more time, make him go easy on us, make him give us the badge for fre-
“I want to earn that badge fair and square,”
“But on the TV series, Ash won a bunch of his badges without fighting the gym leader,” Kiki crossed her arms and pouted.
Samekichi crumpled the paper in his fist. “That's fiction. In real life, there are rules and regulations. The Gym Leader can't just hand them out,”
“Litwick,” Niya chirped. “Lit!”
“Niya, now is not the time for shopping,” Samekichi grumbled.
“But Hina-chan's only got training clothes. The only sexy thing in there is her sports bra,” Kiki joined Niya and grinned at the view outside. “This town's got a huge mall!”
Ten minutes later, Samekichi found himself buried under his trainer and his teammates' shopping bags.
“We're buying sexy underwear so be a gentleman and watch our stuff!”
“Kiki,” he growled. Yet there he was, sitting at the food court and having a protein shake. He needed to be in top condition for the upcoming battle. And yet, his team was -
“Sorry for the wait,” Hinata rushed to him, cheeks pink and eyes bright. She looked oddly determined. She wasn't really going through with this stupid plan, was she?
She pumped her fist. “I-I think I can do this!”
Kiki and Niya hooted in agreement.
Master Neji, I apologize in advance for having to lie to you about this.

Sasuke watched the Espeon as she pounced at his Umbreon. She was sleek and...purple. Most of the trainer’s team was purple, now that he thought about it.
“You'll have some baby Eevees at this rate,” Mudo was at his shoulder, grinning.
He couldn't remember when the mythical pokemon had started visiting him – or rather, his nightmares. Given the contents of his dreams, he could understand why the Darkrai was so attached to him.
Mudo leered. “Maybe even some baby humans,”
“Get out,”
“Is that how you court human females?”
He ignored him and kept his eyes on the two Eevees. Now Garuda had joined them. The Murkrow gleefully mussed the Espeon's fur with his claws, inciting Tsukuyo's wrath.
There was a soft knock on the door.
“Hm, speak of the devil,” Mudo cackled before vanishing. Good riddance.
The knock grew stronger.
“Hinata!” Shisa cried.
There she was, wearing a short, tight dress, her hair pulled up to show off her elegant neck and - his eyes dropped lower. Before she could notice his wandering eyes, he composed himself.
“Tsukuyo,” he said. He patted his lap.
The Umbreon whimpered, but carefully brought the struggling Espeon to him.
Shisa shot Tsukuyo a betrayed look at him and cried out for her trainer.
“Shisa!” Hinata ran forward, but froze halfway at the battle lines. She rubbed her temples. Her face scrunched and tightened in pain.
Sasuke slid gracefully out of his throne and into the battle field. “Will you challenge me today?”
“I will,” she said through gritted teeth.
And so it began.
There will be a part two! I wanted to put this up in time for Sasuhina month hehe. I didn’t do any revising or editing sorry im a lazy ass.
Notes:
Names:
Hinata’s Team
- Shisa (Espeon) - from Okinawan mythology. They are wards thought to protect from evil and look like a cross between a lion and a dog. Eevees look a lil like cats, rabbits, and prob other cute animals.
- Samekichi (Gallade) - I took the name from Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea hahaha. “Same” is shark, which is what I think a Gallade’s head-blade thing looks like haha.
- Niya (Litwick) - Japanese onomatopoeia for smile/grin (niyaniya). I thought it suited Ghost-types, since they tend to be kinda mischievous. Niya is v mischievous.
- Kiki (Gothorita) - I recently watched Kiki’s Delivery Service and I think they have similar personalities (my Kiki is def nastier though lol)
- Yata/Yatagarasu (Starmie) - three-legged crow from Japanese mythology. Believed to inhabit and represent the sun. Hyuugas tend to have sun-related names so...
Sasuke’s Team
- Tsukuyo (Umbreon) - shortened from Tsukuyomi. We all know what that is. I thought it was fitting since Sasuke’s a Dark-type trainer. Also a reference to Gintama’s Tsukuyo *cough my queen* fun fact: Tsukuyo’s grandma was Sasuke’s starter.
- Garuda (Murkrow) - named after Sasuke’s hawk. also part of japanese mythology i believe. another descendent from Sasuke’s original team.
(not mentioned in this part but the rest of Sasuke’s gym team...[he has his original team, most of whom don’t do gym battles anymore {Sasuke started his team when he was a kid so they’re kinda old by now}. His gym team is mostly grandkids and new kids]):
- Chomesuke (Houndoom) - nicknamed Cho. someone abandoned her at his doorstep. fun fact: itachi named her.
- Sepal (Deino) - a babby dragon. Garuda is her mom basically lol. Given to Sasuke by a breeder friend (Kiba’s sister). She is training to be part of his gym team but does not participate in the battle (she’s there for the EXP)
- Satsuki (Tyranitar) - the only one from Sasuke’s first team as a trainer that he uses in gym battles bc Satsuki has the most restraint and control. She doesn’t really listen to him, which leads to a lot of bickering.
- Mudo (Darkrai) - from Persona. Mudo is the lowest form of Dark magic. Dark since Sasuke is a Dark-type trainer, etc. BTW Mudo is not part of his team, but is the legendary pokemon Darkrai who wanders about and visits Sasuke/Sasuke’s nightmares that lil shit.
note - because sasuke caused the pokemon league so much grief with his five-member team, he’s on probation with a 3-member team. these five are the ones he’s preparing for his gym team once he’s off probation.
I didn’t realize it until I was writing that almost all of Hinata’s team are purple (Espeons are lavender, Litwicks have purple flames, Gothoritas are purple, and Starmies are purple). Weird! But purple seems to be associated with Psychics so I guess that’s why.
Also, I referenced the Pokemon TV series since Ash THAT CHEATER wins a lot of his badges without even challenging the gym. In this AU, Pokemon is also a TV series about a boy named Ash who, yknow, catches pokemon.
More to come...hopefully. Once school starts next week though girl bye!
