Okay so I already commented about this video to @spork on my main tumblr, but I just wanted to briefly talk about this video. I’m super proud of JJ for making this! Not only did she address the stigmas that are often associated with mental disorders, but she also had the courage to talk about her own experiences with them. I can say from experience that this is extremely hard to do, especially when you know that not only friends and family can see it, but 1000′s of complete strangers that could easily comment rude things in response. I feel genuinely inspired by JJ’s #StickItToTheStigma so I’ll probably try to upload a video of my own to my YouTube channel within the next few days. Society can be an extremely messed up place that ignores serious issues, and like JJ said I think it’s time that we all start having the courage to acknowledge and become more educated on them. We need to change society and how it views people as a whole. We need to get rid of the idea that we need to constantly meet up the the standard of “perfection” and start just being genuinely happy with ourselves. So JJ, if you see this just wanna say I love ya and keep doing what you’re doing! <3

I feel like I'm a little late to get on this.. But I've been really insecure about my body for my whole life, and only recently have I accepted that I actually do look okay, whether it's comfy, "showy", or casual. I've always been concerned about my chest especially, if it's "too big" or "too small" for everyone's standards - I've learned to not care and accept me for me. I am learning to love myself :) For spork

This is for spork I have been really self conscience lately but I feel much better now. Everyone needs to love themselves I know it’s hard, trust me I do. I’m recovering from an eating disorder, plus my anxiety doesn’t help matters. I have learned that if you truly believe in yourself anything is possible. You are all beautiful people no matter what you believe, your sexuality, gender, or anything else. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Remember to hang in there and to push through the pain. Put on your bitch face, look the world in the eyes and tell it to fuck off. Remember, if you take all the negative things and replace them with one positive thing a day you will start to believe it. I love you all, hang in there and stay beautiful and positive 💙

Here's more pictures for spork. In the past few months I have become very positive about my body, and I am even going to wear a 50s style bikini this summer, opposed to a tankini I used to wear. I have not only come to terms with my size for only being 5'3", but I also love my body. I feel like every single one of you are beautiful, and should love yourselves.

Honestly, the last few months have been a whirlwind. I lost a lot of weight and gained some back. I had been struggling on whether I should work out more or not but recently I decided that I like the way I look even if it means being 5'3 and shorter than all my friends (yes, lookintoeachothershearts, I'm talking to you)
